This is the best, most reasonable and knowledgeable mechanic in town! Highly recommended. One time a few years ago I dropped off my car for repairs during the rainy season. I had my toddler and stroller to walk home. The owner offered to drive us home since it was raining off and on.

Sure, the place might look a little sketchy, but they are always fast, cheap, and honest. I dont even bother getting a second quote anymore.I started getting my car fixed here when they were the closest garage to me, but I moved to the other side of Fremont a couple months ago, and still use City Auto exclusively.

Fastest response , Professionalism and clear communication. I queried about a broken headlight of my Pontiac Grand AM. Was informed upfront about the possibility of less then 100% recovery of pre damage situation with the quote and required time. Which was okay with me. Fully satisfied with the quality of service.
I live on the Peninsula and travel very far out of my way to take my cars to Li. Why? Because after many years of dealing with horrible mechanics, its worth the extra hassle to make sure the job is done right and at a fair price. there were many times when it felt like something was terrible wrong, but it turned out to be a minor thing. Li would never try to up-sell you on service you dont need. And its not just me, when you go to his shop, its always busy with customers that have been going to him for many many years. Ive been going to Li for 10 years.

Number 1 liar and cheater and I will never come back. I came for oil change and he told me that I have problem with my engine and wanted to charge me 2200 and my car is only 1 year old the still under warranty and when I took it back for to the dealer they ru. Test and said everything is okay and I didn’t need oil change . No coming here and trust this place and it should be closed
