The new management has done wonders with this store. It is clean, great selection and the staff is super friendly. If you need a good liquor store this is the place to go!

I think the store is under new management from November and open til late? Anyways, I love this place! its my go-to store. Staffs are wonderful and the price is reasonable 👍👍

Everything you need with great prices !We had just finished dinner at Flor De Mayo and we had been looking for a near by liquor store. For some reason this liquor store didnt come up on maps or yelp as opened. Thankfully we walked past it and it was opened !79th street Wine & Spirits literally has everything from wine to Hennessy to 1942. They have some great prices for a liquor store in the UWS neighborhood.We happily grabbed a few things and well make sure to visit again

Wish they opened earlier than noon (I keep off hours), but nice staff and good prices.

Beware!! The owner is a horrible cantankerous old man. I asked how the owner was doing when he rang me up on a Sat night at 630p. He asked me why I was asking him how he was doing. I thought it was a communication barrier, but then he stated, “why would I ask how he’s doing when this is my first time in the store?” I was somewhat shocked at his negativity and direct comments.I replied, “First of all, I was just trying to be friendly, but secondly- Just so you know- I’ve been in this store 3-4 times previously.” He then denied the fact I had ever been in the store previously numerous times and each time I corrected him and stated I live down the street.”In fact, looking back at it, I purchased a bottle from him my very first time- Woodford Reserve. I’ve also purchased 2 bottles of champagne, 2 bottles of wine, a top shelf Russian Vodka (XYZ) and a few bottles of Tito’s from his remaining staff, who are all good people and know their alcohol!Honestly, I just feel bad for the staff for having to work for an owner like that. Maybe he found out his woman was cheating on him, which was why he was so sulky. BTW- the owner and I are the same race and again, the actual staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
