I am so thankful that my ENT referred me to NYHD and Dr. Kasper. I had a random, rapid onset of severe vertigo about a week ago that was very frightening, nauseating, and debilitating. I was able to get an appointment very quickly via my ENT to see Dr. Kasper. He diagnosed me with BPPV (also known as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). I was worried that I had something even worse given my history of medical disasters, but thankfully it appears that my main problem is treatable. Dr. Kasper did several physical maneuvers to help reposition the displaced crystals in my inner ear that were causing the vertigo to happen when I lie down. The entire team (Dr. Naim was part of the hearing test I did at my local ENT before I was referred to NYHD) was so wonderful! I felt supported and cared for in the very best way. I am delighted to know that this condition can be treated successfully, and Im so thankful that I saw a leading expert in vestibular conditions in Dr. Kasper. Im looking forward to not feeling like Im falling down an elevator shaft or on an out of control roller coaster when I go to bed at night! :) 100000 stars for the NYHD team!

This was the best experience I ever had at a doctors office and I’ve been to many. For years my family has been begging me to do something about my hearing. I’m so very glad I found this place. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Zweig who was wonderful. She was kind and patient with me and explained all the options available to me. She made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. The staff was very friendly and the waiting room was comfortable and very clean. She explained to me my payment options and was very reasonable to deal with. I was even greeted by the owner Dr. Kasper who was warm and friendly. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and experience!

Great service and care, each time a need occurs such as hearing aid is not working or need batteries, they have solved the problem. This includes being out of state and NYHD sent the part and supplies needed to correct the issue.

This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had going to the doctor. I barely had to wait, there was very little paperwork to fill out, and the doctor was incredibly nice. I would highly recommend this center to anyone who is looking for an audiologist. They do great work and seem to genuinely care about their patients.

Doctor and staff were very nice. Aside from a hearing test , not very helpful in helping me deal with my Tinnitus. Maybe Im looking for a miracle answer but I feel the doctor could at least put me with someone who could help me cope better, just told me I had to wait 6 months and see if its still there. Maybe in 6 months I can post a better review.

Dr. Ariella Naim is the best!I have had hearing loss for decadesI can hear again!Very pleasant experience from start to end.Just a tip for those thinking about trying hearing aids, don’t make it a “bad” thing.If you teeth are bad you go to a dentist, right?I hear birds chirping again,I love them!

Ariella Naim , (Audiologist) was amazing. She took her time and educated me more about my hearing aids. She adjusted my hearing aid accordingly to my prescription. Right on point! However; behind all her knowledge , she is an amazing person and I would definitely recommend her. Ariella = A+

I had an excellent experience at New York Hearing Doctors.

They were able to accommodate me with an early morning appointment. Once at their office everyone was very cheerful and professional and thorough. Its nerve racking enough to be in a doctors office but their pleasant demeanor made it all the more pleasurable!

My experience at NY Hearing Doctors was very good . I give it definitely a 5 star rating. Dr. Kasper was very professional, gave excellent explanations, was very helpful and very pleasant. The staff is veryfriendly and accommodating. Can highly recommend this place.

I met with a very nice audiologist, who seemed competent. However, I found their payment practices to be very strange. Although they accepted my insurance, they wanted an up-front payment for hearing aids even though they were covered by my insurance. I was told they would refund me the money when the insurance paid them. So, they were planning to get a payment from both myself AND my insurance company. I dont know if this is fraudulent, but it is definitely unusual. Also, despite the fact that they accepted my insurance, to continue seeing audiologists on a regular basis, they wanted me to sign up for a plan that required additional payment. Unless I misunderstood what their audiologist was explaining about their billing, there is something VERY fishy about this company. I am so glad I found a different reputable audiologist who took my insurance and didnt charge me anything. Beware of this place. They have irregular payment practices. If you dont mind paying them twice, through insurance and yourself, they seem like an OK place.

Dr. Kasper will not come to the phone when I call regarding my refund. He just passes messages through the office assistant Pam. It has been two months and I have yet to receive my refund check. We dont all have $1500 to throw away. I would steer clear of this company. The prices are outrageous, which is why we cancelled the order. You can get quality hearing aids at the Costco hearing center.

New York Hearing Doctors is an extremely professional group with very fine expertise for people who want the best hearing possible—for business and personal reasons including meetings and conferences and opera and concert performances and recorded music. I have been a patient for several years and would never go anywhere else...great service...have been very gracious in meeting all my hearing needs...if you want the latest technology this is the place for you!

I have been impressed by the amount of care and time that Dr. Kasper has taken to test, listen to me and to make sure that I have the right technology for my situation. I had an appointment with Dr. Visconti. I have known her for a few years through my ENT specialists office. She has always been clear and informed regarding hearing loss, prevention, and hearing devices. I must compliment her, and the entire office staff, for not over selling or pushing hearing aid products. Having to postpone, for a few months, acquiring a hearing device, I never felt self-conscious or awkward, in doing so. The staff is quite attentive and courteous, and my appointment time was kept quite promptly. Thanks!

I really appreciate the time and effort that Dr. Ariel put toward my testing. I have been suffering from muffled hearing for quite some time and needed to find out why. I went to NYHD for the first time and was very pleased. The office looks like a comfotable living room, the receptionist was so nice and friendly, and the doctors were vwry welcoming. Dr. Ariel made me feel as of I was speaking with a friend. She kept eye contact while asking about my symptoms, she constantly asked if I was ok while going through the various tests and she was very well informed. Instead of diagnosing me right away, she suggested I follow up with my ENT to see if he also agreed with her findings of my test results.

NY Hearing Doctors is my only experience with Audiologists and it has been exemplary. My only complaint is that I cannot receive my free batteries through the mail. It appears that they get lost in the mail. I wish I did not have to make a special trip to the office in order to get them.

Waste of time. They require that you give them a credit card up front and sign a document saying that they will charge that card for any thing that insurance doesnt cover, but they wont tell you how much the service will cost up front either. This is the equivalent of writing them a blank check. No thanks.
