Came to this location since our hotel was down the street.Got some drinks for the day and they broke our 100 dollar bill. They gave us back 2 fake 20’s.So check your bills before you leave!

The counter man was pleasant and helpful. The apple fritter was tasty, but starting to get a bit dry, so probably better to buy them in the morning and early afternoon. Good location right on the corner of 42nd street and 11th Avenue. The westbound M42 stops right outside this store, and the eastbound just across the street.

I witnessed the most appalling spectacle of hated at this seven-eleven at 2:30am (or so) on Sunday morning.A seemingly disabled homeless man was confused and arguing with a clerk. It escalated into loud shouting and another clerk emerged to threaten him with violence. He picked up a “wet floor” sign and began beating him with it.I looked at the homeless man and he looked scared, he wasn’t fighting back. They kept prodding him to go outside so that they could finish with him but he held his ground. The police arrived. I didn’t hear what they were saying to him at first. I wanted to explain to them what I saw, so I got closer, then I heard them berate this poor man.The man was not defending himself at all, I felt so much pity that I started to cry. I went to the back of the store and collected myself.I finished my purchase, then I stopped to speak to one of the officers. I told him that it was the homeless man who was attacked and that he never fought back. The police officer then began to berate me! He twisted my words until I gave up. I turned to him and accused him of racial bias, and I left.I saw the homeless man on the street. I asked him if he was homeless, and he said no. I asked him if he had ID so that I could possibly help him. He showed me a government check with his name on it. I realized that he was in there just trying to cash this check. I asked him where he lived, and he pointed to the stoop. He was mentally disabled, he did not know what I meant by homeless.I have a brother that is mentally disabled, so I am very sensitive to people like this vulnerable man. My heart was breaking, it seemed like the whole world has forgotten him.I felt so angry about this that I had to at least write a review. about what goes on in this 7 11 and on that block.

Your typical 7 eleven does close a couple hours around 2am to clean

I had to rate. We came across a very nice worker, Raymond, who let us stay out of the cold while waiting for a place to open. Many thanks to him, especially knowing we were not from the city.

Went here the other day and got a Bahama Mama German with chilli and cheese on the top and it was divine. Really nice to see a seven eleven around. They have the best things on the go. Definitely should open up some more locations!

Why there is homeless dude opening the door? Why is there so many sweet things and candy and whatever with sugar? We were unable to buy raw ingredients for our food :D So it was just water (without sugar luckily). Im giving this place 2 slow rotating sausages next to the counter out of 5.

There was a really bad situation with a nasty customer, because the cashier didnt want to accept the coins for something apparently he drank or something. The guy was telling him he needs to scan whatever he ate. The that trashy guy started yelling and insulting him. Being nasty and rude.I guess they should have some kind of glass by the counter, they are not safe of being hurt or killed.

I love 7-11 but I avoid this one. Why do they let the homeless hold the doors open & harass you for money as if you asked them to hold the door for you. Last I checked, the door is part of the store and therefore 7-11 property. Get these people out of there and I will actually come in. I have nothing against the homeless but I do object to being yelled at and cursed out by strangers first thing in the morning.

Had an excellent experience at this 7-11. They were playing Bach and had a wide assortment of healthy breakfast options.

For over 10 years this store does nothing about the aggressive panhandling.Today’s panhandler keeps possession of the door the entire time while customers are trying to enter or exit the store. The store manager says the police don’t do anything. I told him to go to the 3rd Tuesday 7 pm meeting held by the Midtown South Precinct at the New York ker Hotel at 34th Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan No meetings are held in July, August and December.

They play classical music which is actually a strategic tactic to keep the homeless away!

Always open and has a decent stock of necessities and a slurpee machine that always has at least two flavors available. The cooked foods often look like theyve been sitting out for awhile and might be unfit for human consumption, but the staff is generally friendly.

It is a 7-Eleven that is easy to use as long as the mysterious loud classic is not played down the sidewalk. There was security at the door early and late at night, and there was no dangerous atmosphere as described in the review. There are plenty of drinks and food, and you can buy chicken biscuit hamburgers for breakfast for less than $ 2.JCB credit cards can also be used.

He wants to charge me 4.18 for two pieces of pizza with drink, when its worth 3 dollars. Then he tries to charge me 3.70 telling me that the 70 cents are tax. Finally he charges me 3.16 which is what it is worth.I think its incredible that I try to scam foreigners when he is precisely an immigrant, it seems pathetic to me
