I went here back in June, but I still dream about the tuna salad sandwich I ate. I’m not ashamed to say I’m new to the tuna salad game, but good god this sandwich has made every other one that came after it pale in comparison. I have not found a better tuna salad since eating this immaculately prepared cherub-like sandwich. I do often dream about it and thank Tom Cruise I’m moving to the city soon, so I can demolish one of these bad boys on the regular. If you need a sign to go get a sandwich from Flowers, this is it babes. You won’t regret it.

This place is not friendly. There are multiple times I haven’t come in just because I didn’t want to deal with the staff.Additionally, the markups for add ons are too high. I spent forty dollars just trying to build an omelette and pancakes.I called fifteen minutes after ordering to see if it was ready for pick up, (the website said 15 minutes) and they said they didn’t have the order. Then they found the ticket and said it would be another 15 minutes. Half an hour after ordering I went there and it still wasn’t ready.For that amount of time, money, and the unfriendliness on multiple visits, this is a bad choice.Addendum: the business’s response to this post did not address the high mark ups, the long prep time, the inability to locate the order, and simply denied the staff were unfriendly and said they weren’t in the business of selling feelings. They called the review “NYC weirdness”. I feel the response reinforces my post. Still, I won’t be going back and forth, this is my last contribution.

Amazing place. Love the BLT and chocolate pancakes. The food is always consistent. When ordering delivery, food always arrives within a timely manner and fresh. Highly recommend. Staff are great. Shout out to Kasey who is the sweetest employee. Five stars

Only a block away from our Airbnb we stumbled on it one morning. They had the best iced coffee I think weve ever had (and we drink alot of coffee).Their grilled cheese sandwiches are also amazingSuch a good vive there that we went both mornings in the city.

Recently discovered this place and I am very happy I did. The staff is SUPER friendly and they have an amazing menu. Some of my favorites are the avocado toast (definitely recommend with the 7 grain bread) and their custom smoothies!

I really enjoyed this cafe. Plenty of comfortable seating. A decent amount of light even in the winter months from the windows. Cozy. Good coffee , I recommend Flowers Cafe .

Wow so many negative reviews and ive yet to see what people talk about. This cafe is a cute little shop I love it sandwiches I ordered are awesome fresh and sooooo tasteful service was quick friendly great outdoor seating great prices for what you get been back a few times and will continue to go back I ordered delivery through doordash uber with them food still same as when u get it there :)

Had a pumpernickel everything with veggie cream cheese. Great place. I love the crystals in the window around and in the flower pots. Very cute and cozy. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and was as easy to look at as the food. The service is always great. Gotta try more things from there.

The Flowers Cafe is the best breakfast coffee place on the Lower East Side of NY. We came here everyday during our stay in NY. Great breakfast bagels and coffee which kept us going on our sight seeing days. Great price and value for our buck. Lovely cafe owner who helped us with directions and getting about. Clean, fresh food, great service. We enjoyed sitting in the window, starting out NY days with eggs over easy and other delights. Great take out service too. Can’t wait to return one day, now we are In Covid -19, who knows when but we will back for sure once things get better.

I had great expectations from this place! My boyfriend & I ordered a couple of things for breakfast and out pancakes & French toast and were absolutely soggy. The pancake batter wasn’t good and both our coffee was cold too. The only thing we both liked was your tasty avocado toast.

Not only is the food always fresh and super high quality, but the service and staff and management are amazing people and truly respectful, especially during these hard times. I see this being a LES stronghold for years to come and I hope other NYC neighborhoods get the chance to get a Flowers Cafe location too!

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. I stopped by because I was working in the area. This place has it all: great customer service, the decor is to die for, the music is great, prices are great and the food is delicious! It cheered me up in 2.5.

Nice decor . Cute store. Great /neat packaging. Friendly worker. I ordered an egg and cheddar on a hero. They cooked the eggs medium well as I requested. The only reason I gave 4stars is bc the bread wasnt toasted as per request, but the bread was super good and fresh. Thank you for being open at a time like this #covid19 🤩

Great menu. All clean and fresh items.Tight place but the workers are so nice and make you want to stay and chat (Ana is an actual angel I think??). Really happy this place opened because its nice to have somewhere in the neighborhood with realistic prices AND clean ingredients! Happy all around.

Used their luggage storage and everything was safe. They close their shop at 5 PM, so make sure youre back to pick up luggage beforehand.

I recently visited Flowers Cafe and I LOVED IT SO MUCH! I honestly wanted to order everything on the menu. The place is cute, the staff is sweet, and the food was delicious! I’ll be definitely coming back again soon!

Ordered on Seamless and my order didn’t come after 1 1/2 hours and my calls to the restaurant when unanswered because they had just closed after I placed my order. I contacted seamless, whose customer service was just as incompetent, and finally 2 hours later I got my order: cold, soggy bagel with eggs... Seamless said the restaurant messed up and will contact me to resolve it but I never heard anything. Just moved nearby and this could’ve been a new go-to spot but unfortunately the service (or lack there-of) has really put me off.

I’m so glad Flowers is back! Everything I loved is still on the menu that I missed - especially my favorite The Woodstock!My only complaint is the music - every time I give my order I have to repeat what I want multiple times because it’s so loud.

The counter person was extremely rude to me. They gave me an attitude when I asked basic questions about my sandwich and what I wanted on it. Then when I asked how much longer it would be I saw him scoff to his partner then put on a fake smile and say about five more minutes after I’d already waited ten. For a simple sandwich. The countertops are curved for some reason so it’s easy for things to slip off (my shopping bag fell twice). It’s completely cramped when three or more people enter the store and once that happened no one seemed to know what they were doing. It’s also worth noting I’ve seen small mice run in and out of this building at night since my horrendous experience. I will never go back. Take your money elsewhere Chinatown is full of better spots than this.
