I do not recommend this one, I bought a fenty foundation with the help an associate and when I tried it full face at home it was noticeably a shade lighter! Mind you the whole time she was patch testing it on my face, she started with a super fair foundation and was surprised it didnt blend... but when she tried the tan foundation she was shocked that it was my colour...Was it because she assumed Asians are lighter? Im a Pacific Islander so Im naturally tan but sis need to work on their customer service.But in the end that wasnt even my color either! I have never encountered this, Im going to union square or soho Sephora next time 😩

Staff are incredibly nice and patient especially with the heavy traffic that comes through. Right in central tourist zone so you have to be prepared for a bit of scooting around people to get to where you want to go staff are very helpful telling you what is where and checking out is efficient and fast considering amount of traffic.

There are two Sephora’s at my mall, and this is the one I prefer. The women who work there are nice, funny and don’t act impatient. I always receive better customer service here. Plus an added bonus is their shelves are actually dust free.

Was able to find what I came in for and more! The store was stocked with all the great holiday bundles and stocking stuffers. Cheryl helped me find the Kat Von D display and was knowledgeable, friendly and lovely! Definitely would recommend.

Completely dissapointed with Sephora after soo many years of being a customer. I got a gift card Sephora JC penney which i didnt know can be only used at JC Penney , so as thw person who got it for me. Arriving today at this location i was shocked how long on supply and vsriety of stuff they are. Its i wuld day the SMALLEST Sephora i ever been to. I asked the supervisor if i could return, replace, exchange or do ANYTHING with this card because they dont haveany items i would like to get. Next location is in queens and this is it for NY. This is absolutely ridiculous and such a wasteof money to be put in a situstion when you buy what tou dont want to. Supervisr is so rude and not helpful who didnt move a finger ro help.

Extremely terrible customer service. The manager of this Sephora location would not accept my return and was being completely unreasonable. Also, the cashier did allow me to get my birthday gift because it has been past 3 months since my birthday. As a beauty isnider, you can pick up your birthday gift any day, all year round, once. She made me look dumb and I will never support this store again. They need to teach their employees the ethics of Sephora all over again.

Staff was not helpful, the manager Naomi was the only one working. Meanwhile two of them were just chatting away in the pretty much empty store. Dont go there on your lunch hour. I would give zero stars if I could.

NEVER COME HERE !!! First of all I work in customer service and this location needs some customer service work. It was dirty and all the trash cans were full. I’m pretty sure the managers were working too and they were very dismissive and wouldn’t give me any samples even with a purchase. If you’re looking for someone to help ask for the gentleman, I think his name was Jan. The only person with detailed product knowledge and very sweet. Otherwise, this shop needs work. Not coming here again.

I love coming to this location because of Naomi. She is very kind and professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She knows her stuff. She always goes out of her way to help me find the best products for my needs. I had a couple of issues with finding the right foundation to match my skin at other sephora locations & Naomi knew which products had a more reddish hue and took the time to explain why I needed products with a yellow undertone to match, & quickly found products and primers that matched well. She even helped my friend who is a completely different skin type. Oh how I wish I had someone like Naomi at every sephora !!

I don’t mind this store but honestly a certain MUA can be more educated. I did a 5min mini and my MUA was alright but the women who was doing my friends eyeshadow, said I had a monolid LOL I’m not going to play the race card... I’ll assume she just has poor judgement. But next time she should go on google and see what a monolid is. If I was an uniformed client I would’ve brushed it off but you cannot be telling people out here they got no eye lids when I have a visible crease line and have a double eyelid 🤦🏼‍♀️ What she said was ignorant borderline racial bias.

I am so disappointed with Sephora especially with the manager named Lisa she is a crook , Sephora was purchased valued at 100$ then after leaving the store she linked the Sephora gift card to another card and the 100$ was removed each time we try to contact her she refuses to pick up and tell her staff to lie that she is not available or in a meeting just because of 100$, what a cheap crook and dubious people very very bad of them Big Shame To Lisa who is supposed to be a manager but failed woefully on the first day of September 2019,👹👺😈😱😡☠️💀🤖👾📻💣

No one asked if I needed help, I was walking back and forth because Im indecisive.. They were all huddled together talking. I was in there for at least 30 mins. I had to walk up to check out and someone came, rang me up quick and walked back to the group to gossip.

Usually I have a neutral experience here but todays experience was really unpleasant.I asked a salesperson if a product was still in stock and she gave me the dirtiest look before responding that if its not on the shelf, there would be none left. After hesitating, she glanced over to check for me and just shrugged and told me to try a different shop. I turned around the corner of the stand, only to find a plethora of the product I wanted. Since there was only one left, I opened it to make sure that the right product was in the package (as Ive had multiple experiences at various Sephoras where the wrong product is in the right packaging). As soon as I opened the box (which was absolutely opened by a previous customer since the lid was bent), another Sephora rep walks over to tell me that Im not allowed to do so and if I was aware that other products were on display.I responded to her that there was in fact, 3/6 of the wrong colours on display and the shelf was empty with no product left for purchase. I also explained to her that Ive received the wrong product several times. She continued to scold me, whilst making no eye contact, and told me that Id get in trouble with security next time.@Sephora, please train your staff to be kinder and check the products inside the packages.

This location, I was very disappointed. I asked the women who work there for a sample of the fenty beauty she tells me samples dont come in until the day after tommorrow. When I know all sephora do samples right in the store. The sphora in Time Square is the best . Stephanie helped me she is great.

I came inside to buy my girlfriend a gift I asked one of the ladies to help me she nicely said give me a second and thankfully a young girl who I assume is the security guard of the store helped me out and I got what I needed. I Checked out asap and thanked her she kindly smiled made it a good and fast purchase since we guys hate shopping in girl stores

I had a terrible experience today. I was approached by a sales associate and asked if I needed help I explained I was looking for a foundation, in particular estee lauder double wear. To which she said that they do not stock that brand at that particular location and said if I would like to try a couple others. I agreed and was told to sit on one on of the chairs. She suggested I TRY other products for my skin prior to applying the foundation.. I said ok. After all products were applied. The foundation was noticeably too dark for me but she kept saying false praises like dang girl you look good and so did the other sales associated standing closest to her. Thinking their false praises would somehow persuade me to buy ALL all the products that were offered for me to try.I told her I will purchase the foundation in one shade lighter and a fenty lipstick. To which she replied well this was a full consultation and let is see what we can do she asked if I had a jcpenny card I said no and refused to apply for one either.I added I cant afford the restShe blatantly replied You should have just said that from the beginning..Then kept mumbling words everytime she passed by me while I was on line waiting to pay like This is crazy and I cant believe this. Then I just got so fed up and felt so insulted that I returned the products to their respective places and wiped off all the makeup she applied and left the store.I will never return to this store!!!! JUST RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE TO CUSTOMERS FEELINGS!!!

Naiomi, the store manager, is very rude and unprofessional. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I love Sephora in general and I am their loyal customer but because of her service to me, I will never enter a JCPenny Sephora ever again. She lacks respect and customer service. I get it... people love makeup and skincare so you can expect the store to be busy, right? Wrong! Ive been going here at least once a week for the past 6 weeks trying to be assisted with little success. Sales representatives are clearly dismissive of your presence, even if youre the only customer in the store (happened to me once on a Tuesday morning just as they opened). After flagging them down dont bother asking for detailed help because you wont get it. They dont want to help you match your foundation shade and they dont give samples because it is against JC Pennys rules apparently. After spending enough money in the Sephora franchise to become a VIB Rouge member, Im learning how little value that holds.Pro(s)- a lot less foot traffic than other Sephora locations (greater chance of finding a popular item in stock and offers an easier browsing atmosphere)Con(s)- very rude and dismissive staff (floor staff and register clerks)- they dont carry the full line of certain products nor any products of certain brands- apparently they dont let you have samples as its against JC Pennys policy (even though Ive gotten samples at this locations before)Recommendations- only go here if youre looking to purchase/repurchase a specific item that requires little or no help to locate- go to the Sephora on 34th Street. Its the largest one and its only 2 blocks up. Staff there is much more knowledgeable and courteous.

They help me soo much, they are my life saver, even though i was in a big rush and lost they had safe my life, and make it work on that face of mine, I appreciate everything they did, give them a thumb up, if you ever need any i suggest you guys run and ask for kelly or barbara, worth it.

Every one ignores you. They talk about what they are going to do after work while checking you out. Then if you return an item they ask why an i respond maybe if someone acknowledged i was in the store i could have gotten the right product and not had to return, no response. I am never asked if im a beauty insider. Then when i look in their understock because i want a new item not on the shelf im scolded and told i need to call them over forhelp. Why should i when i was never asked if i needed help, this locatioon seems likely self service one anyway. I will stick to mac!!!!!!!!

The place is very dirty. I honestly couldnt tell the clean from used utensils. The samples are never restocked. The staff is rude, and unwilling to help. They seem bothered by questions and will redirect costumers to each other. This was my third visit at that location with hope that I walked in on a bad day. But this place is adsolutely horrible. And Im not sure if It was just my account but the points were not added to my Account.

There was no clerk at the counter, and the clerk was playing. After the calculation, the product was put into the shopping bag unknowingly, and the receipt was stuck in the shopping bag. Then I left before I was a guest.
