It started out well. The salesman was very friendly though our credit union later told us wed been overcharged when we tried to refinance for a lower interest rate. We were still treated well when we brought car in for service. The lobby and snacks were nice. The problem came a year or so ago when we got a coupon in the mail for oil change and tire rotation combo. The mechanic approached me and told me that when he rotated my tires, there might be a slight noise since they were worn slightly uneven. He told me it wasnt a big deal. Just didnt want me to be too concerned about the noise. I told him to go ahead since its why my husband sent me. He changes our oil himself most occasions. But since coupon was so good, he decided to take a break. When I drove up to the dealership, there was no tire noise at all. When I left, it literally sounded like the car was falling apart before I even got out of the parking lot. But Im not a mechanic and took him at his word. I hoped the noise would even out as I drove. It didnt. Within days, 2 of the tires blew out and one developed an egg. The tires were still under warranty. But when my husband went back with me to see what we could do about it, we were told we had to take prorated tires. They were very expensive, and we just dont understand how tires that sounded fine going in could devolve so very quickly.

Lyn and Jill were so helpful. They replaced my flat tire at no cost to me because of my warranty plan I got with the car. I couldnt thank them enough.

Car buying process was a breeze, majority of the people we talked to were super nice and friendly.Cashier, on the other hand, was rude as hell. She made a “oh, they came back?” comment after we had to go get a cashiers check from Chase. Did not have a friendly attitude throughout the transaction. We wouldn’t be shopping for a car if we couldn’t afford it.

I would highly recommend J P Thibodeaux Nissan service department, where I received excellent professional customer service! I called JP Thibodeaux and spoke with the service manager, Malcolm. He was very confident and knowledgeable. He assured me he had the best technicians and would be able to diagnose my post collision problems. They were able to get me in right away. I was impressed with the detail diagnostic assessment booklet they provided that made the information easy to understand. I would have to say JP Thibodeaux couldn’t have pick a better person as their service manager.

Over the past week as I was shopping, other dealerships pressured me, called me and texted me two or three times a week. Even after I told them I would call them when I decided. JP Thibodeaux respected my wishes. Some people may like being called often but I don’t. I believe it’s the service after that makes a difference. I was greeted with an air high five. Extremely pleased with the fast response time to my online request. Anthony gave me his best price up front. He was very knowledgeable and spent extra time going over features of my new Honda Pilot. All employees were very friendly and hospitable while I was waiting on my vehicle. The gave my vehicle an unexpected wash, wax, and interior detail along with a full tank of gas. Unfortunately our son was recently in an auto accident that totaled his car. Accordingly, we were needing to purchase a used car for the approximate value he received for his totaled car. Fortunately after we told the sales agent, Chris Jones, our dilemma, he was able to offer a clean used car that had just been taken in on trade. Because the car offered was clean and in the price range we were able to put our son back on the road in a very short turn around time.In summary, attentiveness to customers need and the inventory to meet that need was what I treasured about my recent experience. I also appreciated the shop repairs and detailing of the car before it was presented to my for sale. I love my new/used 04 Camry.

Kaylon Vavasseur was excellent to work with. Their system needs for be updated to 2020 with e signatures etc but even still it was a great expierence!

Love how they have popcorn for customers and cold bottles of water. The sales reps are all sweet and look to try and help anyway they can even if its just changing the channel for the kids to watch TV. Inside was very well upkept and well structured.

Malcolm Hale is a superb Service Advisor. This was my first oil change with my new Nissan Versa Note, and he went above and beyond in helping me set up my Service Plan so that my future oil changes and maintenance will go smoothly. I live in Lafayette, but because of his excellent customer service, I plan to return to J.P. Thibodeaux every time I need something for my car. Beyond my routine oil change and tire rotation, the staff made sure to wash my car, remove an unneeded sticker off of my windshield, and checked out a part that was on recall for my car. I felt very comfortable working with Malcolm, and know that my car was in good hands with the mechanics at J.P. Thibodeaux.

We bought a CR-V from Alex and we love it. Alex was very informative and was not pushy. His manager was a bit but we used it to our advantage and got some sweet deals.

Prompt, friendly service from the sales associate to manager and financing, even though I kept them all after business hours. I showed up an hour before closing with the intention of just letting them take pictures for an appraisal for my trade in and less than 2 hrs later, drove away in my new Oddysey.

I would give is a big 0 but it would not let me.. I traded a vehicle in on a new one in June at JP. When I went to renew my Drivers license at DMV I had a flag on it. They said JP did not turn in the license plate on my trade. I had to pay out my pocket for a flag on my license that was their fault which I think is bad business all the way around. Little they know that will be the last vehicle they sell me my family and friends for sure....BEWARE PEOPLE this very well could happen to you..

My wife brang my truck to go put 4 new tires on for me since i was working out of town. I got back from working out of town around thanksgiving. I decided to finally wash the truck and clean the rims and tires last week to find out that they installed 3 out of 4 tires wrong! 3 of them said inside and only the right one said outside. I guess the mechanic there must be blind to not see that. Ive had atleast 3 problems with jp thibodeaux since Ive been servicing my cars with them. Poor customer service.

Aweful finance negotiation! The Juke I wanted had a dent in the door and a tear in the front seat. I offered a trade in and they gave me the Lowest amount for it ($1000 for a murano, with heated seats and sun roof) What an INSULT. So I offered a down payment (larger than $1000) instead & the finance guy decided to go back UP on the price of the Juke when I took my trade away. I felt like I was being taken full advantage of. Not every female that goes in to purchase a car is ignorant of the sales business. Ill NEVER allow JP Thibodeaux to have my business and I wont be recommending anyone here either.
