I have a membership simply for the cheapest gas. But there are other benefits as well. Consider the food court for a quick and cheap hit for pizza, hot dog, and other food items. You cannot find it cheaper. There is a caution however. Costco forces you to look for items as they continuously move the same item to different locations in the store thereby encouraging impulse buys as you wander the store. Its easy to do. Also, buy ing food or other perishable products in bulk will run you the risk of it going bad. I have read numerous times where even detergent has a 6 month shelf life to be as effective as the first day you bought it. The really good deals are when they include it in their coupon book.

Costco is always a great place for buying organic produce.For more than 2-3 months unfortunately I can’t buy raspberries anymore from This specific Costco how they’re too soft and mushy .Is it because of the fridge temperature,raspberries quality or because of how the raspberries are shipped ,no idea, but they definitely have to do something.Good wild fish, wagyu steak ,great quality 24months aged Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese,lots of healthy nuts and snacks.

These two photos show how both Naperville N E and St Charles treat the disabled. However, the handicapped shopping carts are hidden between the exit and the tire center in this store. Users are forced to get them against outgoing traffic. Quite rude and handicapped-unfriendly! The suggestion has been made to the employees and red jacket supervisor twice, yet nothing improved. This is one of our favorite stores. Have to bring it up to the public since personal approach fails. Hope this will make some changes.

Worst tire center ever! After purchasing the $900 tires online and making an appointment they wouldn’t install them for some reason, I had to reschedule because the guy didn’t feel like installing them because it was Friday night. Don’t go to this location for tires, extremely unprofessional and rude!

Horrible experience today at Costco Store number 342 in Napervillle. I needed help with getting a diaper down from the top shelf which a ladder/forklift is needed. Waited 10-15 mins, I asked (3) employees but sadly they weren’t interested in helping - instead directed me to ask another employee. I know it was busy morning, but it seems like everyone that was working there today was super cranky.Situations like this makes me want to shop online due to lack of customer service.

I bought two loaf of gluten free bread from Costco today and one of them has mold in it (see the picture). I wont drive 30 minutes back to return the bread, but I would expect better quality control from a Costco store.

Employees unable to input my order,(refrigerator, washer and dryer) close to a $4000 sale, because their computer kept timing out before they finished. Told me to go home and order on my own computer. Went to Best Buy and bought there.

Horrible Experience! The employee who works in the clothing section was extremely rude . I was looking around trying to find my size . The lady asked me what size I was looking for didn’t even let me get a word in & proceeded to say “ You can order it online or go to another store” . The tone in her voice and attitude just isn’t acceptable considering that I work in retail myself . Believe me there is always a better way to communicate things .

Just got a membership today. I honestly, only got it for the refinance benefit. I’ll do a comparison with Sam’s Club as I go to both.Costco is difficult to navigate; so many people and despite it being a big warehouse, too little space. I spent more time trying to find a place to park my cart (to keep from blocking others) than looking at product. The layout is a simple grid but most isles provide space the width for 2 carts and a person. Which would be sufficient but the local norm is that people barely maintain an awareness beyond themselves that they block aisles, etc.I am stupefied at the volume of people!At Sam’s Club, I can scan my product with my phone as I shop. Then, once done, I can pay, on my phone and walk out. Costco has an app which only offers the ability to shop from home, not scan.I have more to say but am too frustrated right now. I’ll add more later.

A subpar Costco unfortunately.Modern art inspired parking design, pushy credit card sales people, and Ive never once gotten a box for my items when directly asking for one.Nice people, Costco credit card sales lady aside, but somehow this normally tasty cookie is just crumbled.

This is one of the busiest Costco‘s I have ever visited. They carry more product than most. I use the pharmacy on a regular basis. The prices are very reasonable and they are fast. Great selection of cheeses and prepared foods.

I was impressed by the wide variety of organic products sold at Costco. I am not currently a member but have friends and family who are members. I am not impressed with Costcos lack of action regarding animal standards. Many other companies have committed to better welfare standards for chickens. It is time for Costco to make the same commitment. I cannot recommend Costco to others until there are changes to the welfare standards of chickens.

Costco in overall is a radiculous kind of shop. They charge you for the entrance to the shop pretending that prices are very low and quality is the best. However, it is not always true. We stopped buying vegetables, fruits and lot of more due to low quality. Only organic chicken is still OK for us and only legs are at lower price. Everything you can buy in Jewel-Osco and Trader Joe at better price and better quality avoiding paying extra annual fee. I tried to buy tires recently and have dicovered that the same Michellin Defender T+ H tires would cost me ~$80 more than at Discount Tires. It is funny that they require you to sign in order to dicover that the prices are very high!Sometimes, you are lucky, for example you can buy now backpack and travel bag at the very low price if you want apparently lower quality compared to Macys.

Horrible experience at this location. I believe I was racially profiled. As leaving the store I was pull to the side to count my items in my buggy. When asked why assistant manger stated everyone with 15 items or more are being checked. I watched about 20 people with more than 15 items walk out with out being checked at all. I cant believe this has happened at all. I had long conversation with the store manager and he couldnt give me a reasonable explanation.

You cant beat the hot dog and coke deal. We sat in the parking lot and devoured them. Oh yeah and their other stuff is pretty good too.

Costco has almost anything you could want. This location has a large bakery, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables along with standard grocery, electronic, clothing, toiletries, etc. Staff is friendly, coueteous, helpful and kind. Aisle are wide and even when packed it is still fairly easy to stay separated by 6 feet with the huge carts.

Employee assisted fast lane checkouts speed you through the process. We love the ability to avoid regular checkouts.

Very organized and clean.. For some reason I found myself acting like a kid at a theme park looking around as if Id never been to a Costco. Fast checkout, good prices for the bulk food you get.

Women that works Thursday evenings takes 20 ish minutes to check your items and then sends you back to double check with the cashiers. Held up the line and kept sending people back with an awful attitude. Good for you for doing your job I guess but seemed very unecesary.

I walked into Costco today to buy my parents groceries as I usually do, except today was different because I was stopped by a worker who questioned if I was 18 (Im 17). Most(If not all) of the Costco workers are very nice and friendly, but this worker was a little condescending. Today, I was denied from being able to purchase items at Costco. I understand that this is most likely a Costco policy and they are just following it, but Im still very disappointed. I can work, drive a car, enlist in the military, and pay taxes, but I cant buy groceries. This is how you raise a soft generation. I think this policy needs to be changed. Im tired of being treated like a child who is incapable of doing anything without their parents and cant be trusted.

A lot of rude enough noxious people that walk around this store that are shopping that look at you like youre degenerate sometimes. Staff members seem friendly The parking really isnt that good cant really find any trying to get in the doors pretty chaotic when you got both people coming in-and-out in the same door. Costco is a retailer that sells in bulk, these places are good for if you have a business or large family, some of the products you will find here in bulk are canned goods, rice, dairy, yogurts, frozen food, meat, various cheeses and sorts of deli meat. They also sell electronics, fine jewelry, clothing including name brands such as Calvin Klein and non name brands you will find clothing for adults (women, children and men). They sell laundry detergent, furniture, seasonal items and more. I recommend to check this place out the on thing is you will need a membership to come in the building unless someone has given you a gift card. The membership costs any where from $60.00 a yr to $120.00 per yr.

What more can I say about Costco? This is absolutely my favorite. I have been shopping here since 2011. They have the absolute best return policy in the world. Their staff is usually very friendly and helpful. The array of items that they have in stock keeps me coming back week after week. I often go in the middle of the week just to see what they are carrying new. What I also like about Costco is that they take care of their employees very well. Ive heard nothing but great thing from the staff and the people who serve the samples. A client of mine has a family member who does this and is very happy with their job of serving samples. I also heard that they are very selective when it comes to choosing which products they put on their shelves. Speaking of their products , they carry most of the products that I would normally buy at a grocery store that are organic and hard to find. So to be able to find these items at Costco in bulk is major for me. Whenever people coming to my house and they asked me where I bought something from 95% of the time my response is Costco. From food to household items and appliances, Costco is my first choice. I think the only thing I have not bought from Costco is furniture. But I have been tempted to. I go to the Naperville, Orland Park, Bolingbrook, Lombard/Oakbrook. It just depends on where I am. Ive even visited the Schererville store. There arent too many companies in this country that really care about their customers and their employees as much as Costco seems to. I hope they are around for generations to come. I know this sounds like a paid review but its not. I am a real customer that just appreciate the value that Costco gives. Maybe other companies will wise up someday and learn from Costco business model. You cannot give a great customer service experience without making employees happy first. By the way I do not work for Costco and have never applied for a job there. I am a person that appreciates great customer service.

I went as a guest and, well, WOW! I was amazed at the scores of items available. I wandered the aisles and saw seafood and saw blades... Appetizers and appliances... Candy and clothing. The staff was in constant motion stocking and restocking the shelves. The checkers were polite and thorough. Over all an eye opening experience...I loved it.

They ran out of kirkland water they only had ice mountain 🤬

I shop there occasionally since we have a membership. The shopping experience is rather poor (difficulty to find help, too crowdy, inconsistent and limited brands available, expensive produces, being rushed at the cashier, etc...). We only purchase certain type of items, mostly non-perishable ones. Also personally i do not appreciate very much to have my cart checked up (sometime rather rudely) after I have already paid my items. I would rather like to get a nice thank you for shopping here, see you again.

Mostly use it for gas, there is a woman at the gas station always harrasing me to turn off the car. Really whe it is really cold???? They need to out in check their employees. This costco is really weird!

I purchased a set of Michelin tires for my Honda CR-V. The associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. No sales pressure. I set up an appointment and the tires were installed in the promised time.The price was much more competitive than same tires quoted from the dealer.I would definitely purchase tires through Costco again.

Ordered a big poster board but wasnt ready when promised. I drove there and printer guy said he had issues with printer... like smudging. Wouldve been nice if I was informed. So he said he had to fix it and check back in an hour. Got an email it was finished after an hour. Weird. He probably just started to print it when we got there. *update* I went to go pick up the print. I asked the print guy if the print turned out good with no smudging. He said it turned out good. Upon reviewing print there was a smudge on bottom of posterboard. Um yeah not good. I needed the poster and had no time to wait for print so he gave me $3 off. Bumped it up one more star due to discount.
