Only one person on the floor she was on the phone pointed to me to take my return to the back of the store and I stood there for 20 min waiting for someone to help .

Underwhelming appearance for a two story building. Everyone was courteous but I was looking for outdoor furniture and little was on display. I guess the summer is over?Found some wicker sectionals online but I hate making blind purchases.

My fiancee and I are moving into the area in a couple weeks and are looking to buy a lot of furniture and overall fill the house. We heard Pottery Barn is great and decided to visit. Upon visiting we were there for about 20min before leaving. We were not greeted at all and we came with a group so our entrance was known, upon walking upstairs we saw an employee there and when we heard a greet hi we returned the gesture only to find out she said hi to a young looking white women behind our group. It may have been harmless but I cant help but say it left a bitter taste in my mouth especially with reports of Downtown Naperville not being as open with diversity. As we were leaving a young man that was on the phone busy at the counter, took the time to ask if we were ok and needed any help. This man was not from the same background as the employee. That experience was only soften by the nice employee.

I waited for 20 minutes to get help from a associate. Everyone in the store acts like you’re a nuisance. God forbid you ask about a sale item. You will be treated like a peasant. I have a bedding set on hold at the moment. It’s exactly what I want and at a great price. I plan to go get one at another location because I refuse to spend money at this one.

Pottery Barn has beautiful pieces: rich leather armchairs, reclaimed wooden desks, soft many-thread-count sheets, and light fixtures that cast the warmest glow. You can outfit your home so that youre living in the lap of luxury, but dont be fooled by the name. The Barn does not signify discounts, deals, or fair prices. You might be lapped in luxury, but youll pay dearly for it.
