Went to Gary because a friend had recommended him to me because my old mechanic kept my car for a week and had told me my car needed so many things that didnt actually need to be replaced. Later that day, Gary called and told me my car was ready after discussing the issue and exactly what I wanted fixed and how it had been affecting my drive. It runs like new for the first time in forever! Even after taking him to the last mechanic it didnt run this well! Im so happy! He was very quick and honest about whether or not I should even bother fixing it (its an old car with plenty of miles). Very trusted and Im definitely going back. :)

Normally, I dont take the time to do these, but this place deserves it. Basically, I had an issue with my broken mirror where someone smashed it without leaving a note or anything of the sort. I talked to Gary at this place, and brought my car over. He originally charged me $85 (I had a replacement mirror, he just had to install it). After coming in, he talked to me about how people should be more attentive to their garages and mailboxes, as those are the larger causes of people messing up their mirrors. After I told him my story, he said that he was appalled that the offender left no note or anything to remotely help out. He then said that he would be able to do this job well enough so he cut the price down to $40.It gets better. When I was ready to pay, I asked him if he took credit card. He asked me if I had cash, to which I said no. So he told me All right, I hope to see you within the next 20 minutes! He fixed my car, and let me drive to get cash without holding any collateral.I really respect guys like this, and truly appreciate the effort and understanding that Gary showed throughout my experience here. Thanks a lot, guys! :D

Had a loud sound coming from under my car (exhaust issues) and i was afraid to take it to the dealer or merlin muffler because i know they would have screwed me over. WELL, I made the best decision ever. I brought it to A&G and they called me back the same day and said its a gasket issue and would cost me $100 bucks! Where in the hell these days are you going to get an honest mechanic, well, here you go.I will always bring my cars back to A&G and so should you!Hidden gem!

I took my Ford F-150 truck to the Ford dealership in Montgomery. They told me that I needed to replace the brake pads and rotors on front and back. Gary informed me that only the front pads needed replaced. On my Ford Escape, Gary informed me that my brake rotors were warped. He suggested that I could postpone replacing them because there was still a lot of wear left on them. I relax knowing that my mechanic can be trusted.
