Everyone there is helpful, nice and knowledgeable.I went to another optometrist in the area who could not get me contact prescription right after three visits.. I’m from Florida and found this doctor through Google. They are so accommodating and have COVID safety on lock! Marry Ann is a BURST of magical glitter and Dr. Sugarman knows exactly what he is doing. He moves so smooth on the machine, the office is clean and they made sure to explain in detail how my daughter should put contacts in. Oh and Dr. Sugarman does not skip on washing his hands , I mean he really gets them clean. They have a long time customer moving forward.

I would have given 5 stars BUT....Dr. Sugarman is very thorough. He and the entire staff are very nice. However, the girl who I sat down with to order the glasses didnt offer to help with frame selection which I feel is an important part of the process since this is my first time ever wearing glasses. After picking up and trying on at least 25 frames a girl from the front desk came over and offered her opinion which was nice. I selected the pair that she suggested. She told me they come in different colors so when I sat back down with the other girl I asked to see the different color options, she did show me some on her computer but I felt like she was rushed/too busy to let me get a good look so I told her I would look on line and call back but I will most likely go somewhere else that has time to help me with frame selection.

I found Eyes on Lake Norman and went for my annual eye exam. The office staff was able to get me in quickly and they were very friendly! Dr. Sugarman was excellent! The office was extremely clean and professional. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing eye care! My husband ended up going there as well a few weeks later to get an exam and eye glasses and enjoyed his visit as well!

This was an amazing experience for me. I recently moved to the area and searched for a while to find a good eye doctor. After one facility cancelled on me, eyes on lake Norman was able to fit me in their schedule with little to no times notice. With me being a night shift worker, it’s extremely difficult to schedule appointments, but eyes on lake Norman made it so easy for me. The entire staff was so friendly and made me feel welcome which is a crucial part of patient experience. The front desk receptionists Amanda and Alexis were so helpful and welcoming. The new patient process was made easy. Shanelle with the pre exam stuff was so sweet and friendly as well. Very professional and quick with her job but also thorough. Dr sugarman was very personable and thorough with his job as well. He really took his time to find the correct contact lenses that worked for me. Although initially told I might not be able to get a contact exam due to being squeezed in the schedule, dr sugarman made it happen and I’m so happy for that. Overall the facility was very nice and the staff were even nicer. definitely would recommend to everyone! Will for sure be going back. Thanks eyes on lake Norman!!

I have dealt with vision problems since I was 7 years old, and have struggled with vision/eye problems(dry eyes, itching, blurry vision, etc.) for the past 10 years or so. Dr. Sugerman has greatly exceeded any previous experience or care, and is completely up to date with the cutting edge technology. I know people that spend thousands of dollars for the crisp picture of a new television, however for 10% of the cost of a television I have been walking around in life with HD vision. Completely worth it to see a real Optometrist, my entire family sees him.

The staff was great. It was easy to get a timely appointment. There was an issue with what insurance was going to cover. After my initial visit, I called my insurance company to verify benefits. I returned later and talked to Diana. She called my insurance company to get everything taken care of and correct my charges. Afterward, they even upgraded my contact lens prescription due to the insurance coverage.

Dr. Sugarman and his staff are so great. Nice, professional and knowledgeable. I loved the retinal scan option which eliminated the need for dilation. They have such a vast assortment of designs and vendors for your frames which was fun! I highly recommend.

Very professional. Clean, well lit waiting area. Assistants did great job of getting me through initial testing phase. Did not have to dilate eyes for testing. Dr. thorough in final stage of exam, Explained process, showed pictures of eyes and described in laymans terms all what he saw.

Everyone was great there! Even though my husband and I were the last appointments of the day, we didnt feel rushed at all and everyone was very friendly. Dr. Sugarman answered all of our questions and let us know what he was doing at every step, and Diana was super helpful when it came time to pick out our glasses. She let us know which ones looked good and which didnt, which might sound odd but ended up being very useful when it came time to make a decision. Im definitely going to be going to Eyes on Lake Norman for all of my optometry needs from now on.

I hadnt been to an eye doctor in about 10 years. Very happy with my experience. Was seeing flashes at night and when eyes closed. Doctor Sugarman examined and explained what was happening (vitreous detachment), reassured me and we scheduled a follow-up appointment to make sure it progressed normally and didnt turn into a retinal tear. Reasonable rates and good service from everyone there.My only suggestion is to allow credit card payment through the website so I could use my HSA debit card. To be fair the bill does have a place to write credit card info and then mail it in, but nobody mails in bills anymore!

They go above and beyond. They did my exam as well as both my children. My daughter has autism and they were kind, compassionate, and understanding, and above all..patient!
