My go-to spot for hardware. These guys are great. Super friendly. If they don’t have the specific thing you are looking for, chances are that they know where to send you. This is a gem of a spot in the neighborhood. Bonus: There is a pup that hangs out there!

I went to the hardware store to get new license plate screws, I walked in up to the front counter and said hi I’m not even going to pretend I know what I’m looking for, and a very nice guy named Dennis helped me find the right ones & even came out to my car to double check they were the right kind, and after I bought them I tried to put them on myself and turns out holes are in unhelpful spots so it took a little rearranging, and he took over and hooked it all up for me, he was very helpful and I really appreciated it!

Very cute hardware store tucked into the middle of the neighborhood. They have everything you need for that niche project you got going on I am sure. With a sizeable hardware selection you can get everything you need close to home.

There is always someone available to help answer a question and they really go above and beyond, once offering to transport something to my house free of charge when it wouldnt fit in my car. Love to see the shop dog when hes there. They have a great selection of merchandise and I can always find what Im looking for.

I stopped in and they made me a copy of my chip type car key. The man and young lady were friendly and very knowledgeable. They have everything you could imagine at this hardware store. They also offer window repairs, both glass and screens. Good experience. A1

The most helpful hardware store I have ever been to! Dont be fooled by its size, they carry almost everything you could need. We went there frequently during our bathroom renovation and are constantly there for spring/summer project/garden supplies. They even carry helpful everyday needs for cleaning and home goods.

Man if only life could be as easy as walking into this hardware store. Real people right there to help you answer your questions or find out where they can refer you. You dont get lost in the parking lot or the store. This is what customer service used to be like and it sure is nice to know what can be found somewhere in the big city. a small bit of Mayberry RFD right down the block.

I strongly recommend thinking twice before going to this place. My husband and I were loyal customers for a year and a half and then we bought an item that upon opening was broken. We took it back to the store and they were incredibly rude, insinuated that we broke it and refused to take it back. So disappointed in our experience, we were ready to be loyal customers for life but this has completely tainted it, we won’t be going back.

I buy something here once or twice a week. Dust masks, furnace filters, key holders, bags of 5/8 fasteners, adhesive insulation strips, plastic knobs, hacksaw blades, swiveling casters...The staff is always super helpful. I hope to have them in the neighborhood for many more years.

Service has always been friendly and swift. I have observed the staff go way out of their way just to help me find some odd little washer that they wont make a nickel on--and theyll sell you one instead of a box of 50 you dont need. That is worth paying whatever they charge, which is competitive to the Big Box stores, where Im usually wandering around blindly until some one finds me. The help to square foot ratio is EXTREMELY GOOD! I really appreciate the close location and personal and friendly service they always provide.

They have 99.99% of what you might need. I needed the .01% they didnt have. But still helpful

Nokomis Hardware is a lovely old-school neighborhood hardware store with a very helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend them.

I love when I walk in and there is always someone there asking what I need. I usually try to describe the outragous project I am working on, and they can usually help me find a solution. True, they do not have the selection that the large warehouse places have, but the service is amazing. When they did not have a part I needed, the gentleman instructed me which isle to find it in home depot. I cant even get people at home depot tell me where things are in their own store.

I find this particular store to stand out from all other Ace Hardware stores for their deplorable customer service.Ive had two car keys made that needed the special chip in them in order the ignition to work on my car. Ordinarily I would go to a car dealership, but this store was cheaper than the dealership, and as it turns out, I know why.Two times the plastic cap that holds the chip to start your car, was not closed properly by the store manager at Nokomis.The first time, after much argument with them, they did replace my key and the plastic holder, without charging my twice, because I had my receipt. But even then they denied any wrong-doing on their part.Tonight same thing happened, only this time someone saw the chip fall off my car key and returned it me.I went immediately to the store to voice my concern-this being the SECOND TIME- and again, all the store owners did was argue with me. Refused to do anything about ensuring this would not happen to again, and basically told me to just put some duct tape around.I am reporting this store to Ace Headquarters, and the BBB

Not very friendly, owner of the store didnt want to sell me their last sump pump hose, I almost had to beg for it. Oh, if you pay with a credit card bring your DL , they wont sell you stuff unless you show a ID.
