This is the cutest shop on 38th and grand. She has all types of fabrics, jewelry, and trinkets.The lady that works there is so nice and friendly and takes the time to help. I also brought my toddler in there, whose nickname is Diggs, and she was very patient with both of us.I would highly recommend this place.Shop local shop small!!!

Eclectic collection of things to browse, a lot of vintage craft supplies as well as reasonably priced kona and other new fabrics.

I normally don’t post reviews of places but I figured this needed to be said so people like me aren’t put in danger.I went to Digs on Saturday and the staff weren’t wearing masks and they rushed to put them on when they saw customers entering. When checking out I asked why they weren’t wearing masks and they said that they weren’t required to when customers weren’t around– according to them this was in accordance with the governor’s masking order. Firstly, it’s not. Nowhere in the executive order does it say that. Secondly, even if MN’s executive order did permit that (again, it doesn’t) per the CDC, aerosolized COVID-19 can stay in the air for 3 hours so that would still not be safe. The staff at this shop and whoever is handling their COVID-19 safety protocols are misinformed and putting people, especially immunodeficient/compromised people at risk.I don’t think their negligence was intentional or malicious. They just seemed to be operating on a fundamental misunderstanding of how consistent masking protects all of us. Regardless, I was put at risk and as long as they keep operating under these incorrect protocols other people will be as well. I recognize that these orders are not the law, but it’s important we follow them correctly to keep everyone safe.Digs has a fantastic selection of vintage fabric and notions, and everything I’ve gotten there has been wonderful. I’ll be happy to shop there again when I’m vaccinated!

Ive been coming here for the past 3 Christmases because Ive been trying to hone my re-usable gift wrapping skills. All the other stores like Paper Source and Michaels have glitzy, gaudy ribbon - aint nobody want to re-use that stuff. Call me old fashion but I like a nice, classic cloth ribbon thats timeless. Digs got the digs!

Do yourself a favor and shop at Digs for fun, creative and unique items, unlike any other store in Minneapolis. A true neighborhood gem. Super cool vintage fabrics too.

Super cute shop! Lots of sewing and knitting supplies. At the front of the store, there are great baby items (burp cloths, changing pads, swaddlers, rattles, etc) in cute prints and nice textures. The greeting card selection is great, with lots of beautiful cards!
