Wow, I just have to say, excellent service and professionalism, I went in first place as an emergency, the Doctor Diana, removed something for my eye, every single person since the reception until the Doctor it self made me feel in family, at the point that I returned to made a new glasses for me, great price and quality! I recently went to get my eyes checked and had great care. I made my appointment that same week and they were able to find a spot for me. The doctor took great precautions and when choosing my glasses I had great help. Overall it was a great experience.

Yesterday, I had my first visit at Laria Eye Care. Words cant explain the amazing experience I encountered! Everyone from the front desk, Medical Tester (Mattie), Doctor (Dr. Diana Perez) and Optometric (Laura) were all so attentive, caring and pleasant. Dr. Diana Perez even saw my daughter, (whose appointment was on the following week) just to save me the second trip.Eyewear is new to me (last 4 years) and really don’t know the ins and outs on eye care. My previous location felt so impersonal and no real care for patients. I felt the results I had received (prior) wasn’t accurate (nearsighted and farsighted) as I never, ever needed glasses. At Laria Eye Care, Dr. Diana Perez really gives customers the sense of comfort with the results (not just a sell).I hope my review helps; others like me. If you’re looking for great customer service and the importance of eye care, give Laria Eye Care a visit. You would love them!

The staff and doctor were great! They are great with kids. They answered all my questions as a parent and even gave me options on how to proceed and take care of my childs eye care. My childs glasses were ready in 30 minutes. Kids will love going to the eye doctor; the waiting room and each exam room are so cute!!!

Due to Covid I was nervous going in to the office to get my eyes checked. In Laria eye care, I felt very comfortable as I saw they took all the right precautions. Everyone was wearing a mask and the office was very clean. I was attended to immediately. During the pretest, I was taken to the room by Mattie and she wiped down all the materials in front of me. This made me feel more at ease, because I was able to see the precautions were taking place. She then lead me to the examination room. Again, she cleaned all materials in front of me and made sure everything was prepared before I sat down. The doctor came in shortly after waiting a minute in the examination room. Dr Diana Perez was my doctor. She was very helpful and really surprised me when I noticed my vision changed. Because of her help, I feel less stress on my eyes and my vision has been extremely clear. The process of my exam was very quick, but also I had all my questions answered. The doctors and staff were very friendly and professional. When looking for glasses, I was attending to immediately. I always have trouble picking out glasses and one of the young employees, Nathalie made the process easier. I got great feedback and found a style that really compliments my face. They had many options for glasses but just the right amount that I did not feel overwhelmed. Overall my experience at Laria Eye Care was wonderful. It was my first visit there, and I am already looking forward to returning when I need another examination!

I use to go to a different eye doctor facility every year until I found Laria Eye Care. I’ve been coming to this center for the last 5 years ever since. I started with Dr Laria which was surprising how down to earth and friendly she is being that she also owns the practice. They hired a new doctor named Dr Perez that specializes in glaucoma and she is absolutely amazing. If you found this place then congrats because you don’t need to search any further. Dr Perez is the best eye doctor in Miami and the staff is always friendly and the facility is always clean. You’ll be glad you chose this practice

The best place to get your eyes checked hands down! I made my appointment over the phone and they were very nice and attentive. When it was time for my appointment I was checked in immediately! Everyone was so nice and the office had a very welcoming atmosphere. There was such a huge selection of glasses to chose from but I was helped by Nathalie and the first pair of glasses she picked I instantly fell in love with them!

Ive been a contact lens wearer all my life and have seen my share of Optometrists. I chose this place, although its located approximately 7 miles away from my home, due to its reviews.I was seen by Dr. Aurora Perez. Shes probably one of the most caring and experienced Optometrists Ive ever been examined by. Her ability to put contacts in a out of patients eyes is simple INCREDIBLE!!!! You dont feel a thing, and she does it as if nothing. You can absolutely tell shes fully committed to her career and her patients.The staff at the optical were also quite knowledgeable and patient. They took time to find out the coverage offered by my insurance plan, as well as discount benefits. Overall a positive experience.

I’ve been going to Laria Eye Care for years now and everytime I go, I know I’m going to get the best service. The glasses selection is great. The lady that helped me find the best glasses for me and wasn’t shy to tell me what glasses looked good or didn’t. It’s very hard for me to make decisions and she helped pushed me to find a pair of glasses that I get many complements on. She was also very personable and professional. I went back to get contacts and Matilde handled the training. She never made me feel dumb or annoying no matter how many failed attempts it took me to input the contacts. The doctors are also so passionate, you can tell they genuinely love their jobs and want to educate their patients on all this eyes. It feels like a family every time I go. 100% would recommend.

Dr. Fisher did an amazing job with my daughter who has challenges communicating verbally. She was kind, sweet and very very patient and made us both feel welcome and comfortable during her first vision test. Before meeting her and her staff I was prepared for not being able to have my little one’ eyes checked. I didnt like much because1. Place too small2. I thought they were pediatric only3. Some of the staff is friendly, the others arent. they are kind of frustrated out of patient when it regards to kids4.the pediatric doc..But what I didnt like mainly was that I thought that the pediatric opt... will be more friendly, outgoing etc with kids or at least my son. Im not going to say what she did wrong cause she knows and I only want, others to know that really!! its not a big deal going to that place, if you are going there for your son/daughter. With that been said I hope they become better and be more kind to children specially ages 1-5. By though way if you guys (from the clinic read this, dont bother yourselves writing back) Instead fix it. Thanks

I have always been taken care of by Luis, he is amazing. He always tries to find the best solution for my issues. Walked in without an appointment as I been looking for a good ophthalmologist. The staff were able to fit me into their schedule. They were quick and helped me select my new eyeglass prescription. Dr. Diana Perez explained in details what the differences were between my current prescription and new ones I chose. She went down my medical history and also suggested an exam for people who are diabetic. Thank you for making this a great experience. Will be back.

I was seen by Dr. Diana Perez for my annual checkup for glasses and contacts and couldn’t have asked for a more professional and efficient experience. As a glasses wearer for over 15 years, I’ve had several optometrists and none of them have been as knowledgeable or able to clearly and simply communicate the complexities as she has. She doesn’t play games or complicate things when asking between 1/2 or 3/4 etc. She knew what she was doing and I left feeling confident in my new prescriptions. I totally recommend her to everyone. :)

My wife has been bringing our Daughter to Laria Eye Care for a few years, I decided to try them for myself. The optometrist was great, she took her time and was very detailed and thorough, much more so rhan my previous Dr. the young lady that helped me select my frames was also very pleasant and professional, I’m very impressed by Laria Eye Care and highly recommend them.

I have been coming here for about five years now and Dr. Laria and her staff are phenomenal. They are always professional and help in a timely manner. Considering customer service is not very good in Miami when you find a place that has good customer service it is imperative for myself to return again and again. I have recommended this office to family & friends and they have had a great experience thus far. The best compliment is a referral and they deserve it.

Dr. Laria is an excellent and caring eye doctor. Shes patient and understanding, and wont let you leave till she knows you understand everything. Ive been going to her 17 years, and trust my eye health to her completely. Her staff is very warm and friendly and have been there for years. She speaks perfect English and Spanish. There is also an associate working with her as well, Dr. Fischer, who is just as kind and professional. I highly recommend them for your eye care.

My daughter is thrilled with her new contacts! She has been using glasses since she was 8 and is so happy to be able to take them off and use her contacts. Dr. Fischer put her in daily contacts since they are more “user friendly” and require less maintenance for a 12 year old. The tech that trained her was very patient and explained to my daughter the best way to get them on and off and how to care for them. We’ve been coming to Dr. Fischer for years and absolutely love her!

Being new to Miami, I was pleased to find Laria Eye Care is everything the reviews said it would be. I arrived early, was checked in by a polite and efficient receptionist who drew information quickly from the forms I had filled out online. I was then encouraged to browse their extensive line of frames while I waited. My eye exam was comprehensive and the tech who helped me select my frames was patient and helpful. Took my 4yo here for his first eye exam. We had a pleasant experience here, everyone was nice and attentive. Dr. explained the results of my childs eye exam and we got glasses the same day! We especially enjoyed the space room. Short waiting time, definitely a grate place.

Dr. Chow was very thorough performing my eye exam. This was the first time that I was fitted for contacts, and he took the time to explain to me what steps I need to take in removing and placing my contact lenses. He answered all of my questions and was attentive to my concerns. I will definitely keep seeing him for my future eye care needs.

Dr. Fischer was so attentive, patient and kind. My baby (9mos) was being difficult and not cooperating. Dr. Fischer remained patient and finally, once my child decided to let her see into his eyes, she explained EVERYTHING very clearly and in a way I could understand. I would recommend coming here! They didnt treat us any less based on our insurance - some places do. I was examined by Dr. Chow and was impressed by how he explained everything he was doing and took the time to ask about my profession and what I needed glsses for the most. I work in front of a computer all day and my eyes get strained. Ever since I started using my new glasses, my eyes feel great! The whole process was very easy. Punctual with their appointments, they took all three of us in right on time and we were done in an hour and a half. Exam, eye dilation and glasses. I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Fischer since she was 1 and am now taking my son. She is always very thorough with the exam and makes sure I understand everything that is going on. The staff is always very friendly and make scheduling appointments, buying glasses and taking measurements easy and fun for my daughter. My husband and I have also started coming to Laria Eye Care to see Dr. Laria and will continue to do so. We have found an eye doctor for our entire family!

It was pretty quick considering it wasnt just me being attending, my parents also went there. We were attended together and they were really nice and caring. Its honestly the best eye care facility Ive been too. It feels like family when I went. I want to say that this will be my go to for any eye related issues or check ups.

I was seen before my appointment time, filled out my forms via online submission without wading thru paperwork and was greater under 30 seconds with a smile.The office is well staffed, clean from what I saw from the various rooms I went into and the staff seems genuinely happy to help.If you need great service and care for your eyes, then this is the pace. I trust my family’s eyes to Dr Laria and her practice.

Let me start by saying that I dont like writing negative reviews, but Im doing it as I feel my experience may help others. This place is terrible from start to end. Start with the website, with pictures that look more like your cousins wedding or a Spring break vacation than a professional optometrist. The place is in the middle of nowhere and took me 10 minutes to steel somebodys parking spot. The whole place and particularly the waiting room is dark and cold, so the initial feeling is not nice at all. I stood for a few minutes in front of three woman sitting in a desk by the entrance that did not look happy at all, and that were too busy checking their cell phones to really ask me if I needed any help. I rather not give names about who attended my 3 year old (maybe the Dr was having a bad day), but didnt seem like she was used to deal with children. Completely rude and unprofessional.First, as I was sitting with my daughter in my lap, she came with pretty bad manners and sprayed her eyes without even any warning. My daughter was in shock for the rest of the visit and I jumped and almost felt to the floor. That happened twice, and I was tempted to leave already at that point. I understand we need to dilate the eyes for the exam, but it would be nice to get a warning. The exam itself was fine but then she just announces (literally) oh yeah, she needs glasses...for life. Ok, I wear glasses and Im ok with it, but there are better and more sensitive ways to announce that. When I asked for a break down, she seemed particularly annoyed and pulled a piece of paper with some drawings from wikipedia and told me to take a picture of it. Ok, great, thanks...Right after that I was rushed to the counter to choose a pair of glasses since apparently she needed them immediately!. I had picked this place for insurance purposes since all the places my pediatrician had recommended will not take my insurance. After the whole experience I just wanted to leave that place, so I did (obviously without glasses) and called from the car to one of those other places that my pediatrician recommended and got an appointment for next day.I took my daughter to that other place and the Dr there did not recommend glasses at all, but to work on some exercises and reevaluate in 6 months. My impression was that he had a different agenda when it comes to selling glasses. The Dr and place was so nice and professional...again I dont want to give names, but the difference was like night and day. I dont think Ive ever been happier to pay out of pocket for a doctors visit.So beware of this place, particularly if taking children. I learned my lesson and will follow my pediatrician advise next time...

I will love to give Dr Fisher 5 stars because she was very professional and patient with my 3 year old boy... and also the girl who is sitting for the glasses prescription she was very sweet and kind... unfortunately the girls on the front... the first impression is a miserable face... they put the wrong insurance information in my prescription.... working in the FRONT DESK means that you need to make feel patients welcome to the practice and not making feel patients that you are annoyed waiting to be 5 pm so you can go home.

I had not received an eye exam for over 10 years so I was a little apprehensive. I received a referral to Dr. Laria from a friend. I found the staff very courteous and I received the exam promptly. The consultation with Dr. Laria was not rushed and she was very thorough in explaining the results. In the end I ordered two pairs of reading glasses from their large selection of frames. I look forward to the next visit.

I feel very upset, because you have been very racist, when you call to make an appointment they treat you super well and tell you that insurance covers everything. But when you get to the consultation that you do all the exams, that you go to the part of choosing your glasses they begin to tell you that the insurance does not cover anything to take from the patient, when you call the insurance is the opposite, the reason is that They have no contract with Medicaid or Medicare. In my house, my dad came to the house and explained the situation when I called, they treated me with bad words, insulting me, and hung up the phone to not give me explanations.

Thank you for providing the best service a business has provided ever to my family and I. My daughter actually likes going to the eye doctor. Everyone cares about you, I felt I was not a number more like I feel going to other doctor’s office. The ample selection can be compared to the big chains and they have an inexpensive selection to accommodate any pocket. My wife did a pair of Versace glasses but my 11yr old got an inexpensive first time glasses to see if she takes care of them. Thank you all. I just picked up my glasses today and I love them

Judy is such a delight! She helped me and my daughter earlier this year with our glasses and was very aware of my budget. Until recently Ive never needed glasses, but had been complaining that my eyes were getting tired and I was struggling to focus well. I went to Larias and they took care of me very quickly, scheduled an appointment for my eye exam and then set me up with my first pair of glasses. They educated me on my astigmatism and provided great service. I am happy and already scheduled my follow up appointment for next year.

My son didn’t pass his eye exam at school. So naturally, I began to look up pediatric eye drs in the area. I initially chose this office because of the close proximity to my home. I am so glad I did. The office staff is very sweet and caring. My son saw Dr Laria herself and she was a real sweetheart. Very knowledgeable and patient. She also went above and beyond to explain everything she was doing so he could feel at ease. We just got the glasses this weekend. So the wait to get them was also reasonable. I am very content with the overall service that for years now I have resived from Dr. Laria office. Everyone is professional and friendly.Also, they are helpful and I do believe the overall prices are honest and affordable....I do recommend Dr. Laria and Dr. Fisher for your eye care.....Sincerity 😀

Wanted to share my experience with Laria Eye Care, I want to start off with the staff they were very polite and helpful. I was seen by Dr. Lianette Lara, she was amazing. Went in for glasses, mind you I am nearsighted. She was very professional the whole time, made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything to me in detail. Will definitely go back for my annual check up. Schedule your appt with her, truly recommend. Im taking my mom in as well.

Dr Fischer & the entire staff at Laria Eye Care are phenomenal! Dr Fischer is very thorough & she makes the eye exams so fun for my 4 y/o daughter. Highly recommend Laria Eye Care!

This is by FAR the WORST eye care center I’ve ever been to in my life! My son and I both had an appointment in the same day and we were treated SO POORLY that I left before I was able to do my own exam. Let me explain exactly how our visit went. First we walked in to a room FULL OF PEOPLE. Looked like they were running a flea market in there. The employees at the front desk were very nice, I was directed to a waiting room then shortly got called into the eye exam room. My son sat down while laria re examined his eyes, she wrote a prescription for my sons glasses and directed me to the very front of the store to speak to a gentleman that handles the orders of the glasses. Speaking with him is what made me see EXACTLY how these people work. My son by the way has TWO different kinds of insurance, one through Medicaid, and the other through his fathers job. He continued to explain to me that I would have to spend at least 200 dollars on his glasses TODAY. I explained to him that he has double coverage, to please look at what they both can cover and I’ll be happy to pay for the difference. OF COURSE the man refused to even ask which insurance he had, and proceeded to tell me that I would still have to pay 200$ for his glasses even if I had insurance because Laria had put in the prescription that he needed the tinted lenses and anti glare. I proceeded to tell the man that I didn’t want those extras if they weren’t covered by the insurance, I’m not forced to purchase something I ONE don’t want, and TWO can’t afford. I ended up leaving without my sons glasses or my eye exam due to the fact that this man made me feel not only really bad about myself because I don’t just have an extra 200 dollars floating around to pay these people for something I KNEW his insurance could pay fully for ! Their customer service is terrible and you instantly feel like all they want is your money. Thy don’t care about your actual eye health. I then made an appointment with VISIONWORKS. And guess what ??? I received my sons glasses the same day of his first appointment there and BEST part was......his insurance covered everything. I didn’t have to pull my wallet out at all in that appointment AND they made SURE to take their time to check if my sons insurance was able to cover everything he needed. They printed out his policy and highlighted everything he was getting and how much it was going to cost. People, this is a perfect example of never settling or letting people take advantage of you. YOU are the customer, they NEED your money. If you don’t feel comfortable somewhere DO NOT give them ur hard earned cash. Leaving this office that day made me feel so humiliated that they refused to do their job right and left me empty handed with only my sons hand in mine. I’ll never refer anyone to this office. Worst place EVER.SHE replies “ but we can only help those who want to be helped” very nicely put together Ms. Laria. Thank you for overlooking everything else I said about receiving everything I needed from another eye center completely free. I obviously wanted help, hence why I made an appointment with you, and then the other eye center right after. I just wanted to give my business to someone that was going to actually do their job the correct way, instead of bragging how successful your business, realize that it’s not perfect. And maybe that employee wasn’t having a good day and didn’t want to run my insurance, you as the owner should SINCERELY apologize for the employee you chose to represent you instead of trying to defend the way your office runs and why you prescribe certain things. Your reply proves there is no sincerity, and shows how badly you like to shut people up with your extra long explanations on WHY people where treated badly Instead of actually listening and wanting to turn their complaints into a second chance of coming back. Thank you for showing me your true colors. I hope you have a happy holiday.

The four stars go to doctor Laria herself because she’s very good and willing to work with you. However, the other doctors and the rest of the staff is not that great. So if you’re gonna go make sure it’s with Dr.Laria.

Dr. Laria is the most amazing eye doctor and she really cares about my eyes. The staff are incredibly friendly and she even has a paperless system that make things environmentally friendly! She also took the time to help me find the perfect frames to give me a new look:-)

I am a horrible person for eye exams. Lets start there. I was persuaded by Dr. Chow to get my eyes dialated to provide a thorough eye exam. I actually was diagnosed with a very mild retina tear. He referred me to an amazing retina specialist who confirmed the diagnosis. Im extremely grateful to Dr. Chow. I now can prevent a serious and possibly blinding issue. This office is very efficient with a very knowledgeable staff.

Best eye doctor in town. I always come here with my sister. I have my yearly exam with her and is an easy, fast and accurate exam.They have up to date equipment and beautiful selection of frames.

My boyfriend and I came here for his annual exam and we had a great experience! The staff is very friendly and answered all of our questions! Our glasses were done in 10 minutes! We highly recommend them!

I love going with my daughter to Laria Eye Care.. phenomenal doctor and staff. My daughter has never enjoyed any doctors appointment. Except when she goes to see Dr. Fischer!!! :)
