Haven’t owned a Honda since I had a 2006 Civic hybrid. I’ve owned two Acura’s years before that. Wanted that Honda quality and reliability and also needed more than 5 passenger seating. Because I had a trade in I went and spoke to used car sales director; Yaddel Garcia. He was great. He treated me with great care and most importantly was up front with the current reality of the used and new car situation. He gave me a great price for my trade in and placed me with Lisbet Leon who took care to find the 2021 new Honda Pilot EX-L that I was interested in. In the end I got a decent price on the new car (based on the chip shortage and low inventory). Both of them are the best and Brickell Motors is very lucky to have them.

I write this review about a terrible and continuing terrible experience with Brickell Honda. On May 15th I went to Brickell Honda to turn in my lease and purchase not one, but two cars. Everything was going well, until the next day. My family and I decided to go out for breakfast to a place about 30 miles from our home. We leave the restaurant, get in our brand new car and as we are about to get on the highway the car starts to stall a bit, but continued to drive. Within 10 minutes a message that said Transmission System Problem came on. As we are arriving to our exit the car begins to stall and at this point it’s slowly moving when the dashboard displays a new message saying Transmission Temperature. The car was barely moving but we were able to make it to a safe spot before pulling over. When we station the car, my husband gets down to check the engine and it smells burnt. Everyone exited the vehicle just in case and waited for a family member to pick us up, mind you in 90 degree weather in Miami with my 4 year old son. I call the dealer and tell them what happened and their response was call roadside assistance which I did. Roadside Assistance said they would take about 90 minutes to arrive so I went to wait at my parents’ house while my husband stayed waiting for the towing truck. The towing truck arrives and says he cant do anything because the transmission is locked and needs a special towing truck with a dolly. I call the dealer and let them know the situation and once again the response is Call Roadside Assistance. I call Roadside Assistance and they quote me at 90 minutes again. At this point its about 6:00pm on a Sunday. In the meantime, I decide to go to the dealer and speak to someone in person and the Sales Manager comes out to which he says I need to take it one step at a time, dont lose sleep over it. I was livid. Since he said there wasnt much he could do at the moment I went back to my parents’ house to wait out the towing truck since the car was stranded right by their residence. At around 8:00pm I call Roadside Assistance again and let them know no one had arrived yet. They told me the earliest they could get to the site was 10:00pm! Finally at around 11:00pm a tow truck arrived and took the car back to the dealer. The next day I get a message from my salesman saying there was in fact a defect and the gasket was faulty and all the oil had leaked, which explains the big oil stain my parents had on their driveway. Oh to which my 70 year old father had to pressure clean in order to prevent any stains. My salesman texts me and lets me know they are going to issue a new car and will have it ready for me. I leave work early and arrive to the dealer and the car was ready and the paperwork was printed for me to sign. Not once, did a Manager come out to apologize personally. I sign all the papers and Im on my way assuming everything was ok with my vehicle. I get to my house when my husband mentions theres a piece of tape on the roof of the car. I tried to remove it as much as possible but from sitting in the sun it was pretty stuck and its still there. It doesnt end there...Mario, who printed all my paper work and contract said he would send me everything via e-mail. It was not until I e-mailed the General Manager that I got my paper week 2 weeks later! Fine, I get my paperwork and let bygones be bygones...Not really because the saga continued...So Im excited about using the new wireless charger in my car, but when I put my phone to charge it starts for about 2 minutes and stops charging it. We tried with 3 different phones and same issue happened every single time. I have scheduled a service to get it checked out but once again another disappointing issue. Thought it would end there? NOPE! I am driving on my way to work yesterday in my other new Honda and when I go to clean my windshield there is no washer fluid! I know its a small fix and it was as simple as me going to Advance Auto Parts and buying it myself, but that was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me.

Her professionalism exceeded anything that I have ever experienced at a dealer. This was the most painless process ever at a car dealer for me.Definitely go see Nery if you’re ever on the market for your next car!

I had made an appointment to come in and I got there I was attended quickly but I had a problem with the team in this location they are at the door blocking customers from coming in after 8pm and the salesman that was helping me was hurrying me up the entire time telling me that their about to close while I was trying to talk on the phone with my co-signer. This location needs to be more professional and try to care about the air customers and ACTUALLY try to sell cars unlike telling people to hurry or blocking doors. I ended up buying at aventura location by Andre and had a completely better experience!

I came to Brickell Honda for a car and Deya was amazing & very positive. They have amazing customer service here, very friendly, and did everything they can do to make sure I leave with a smile on my face and a car. I highly recommend.

This shop tried to scam me for over $1000, extremely dishonest and corrupt. I will never come back here and strongly discourage anyone from taking your car here, as they will try to steal from you. I have had only poor experiences bringing my 2018 civic into honda dealerships to get fixed but Brickell Honda is as bad as any. I took my civic in because I replaced a dead battery and the car wasnt getting any power, even the electronics. After taking 4 days to call me back they told me I had a bad starter and the part would be $1100 plus labor and tax. Right away this didnt sound right to me because why would a bad starter cause the electronics to not power up? Also, $1100 for just the part seemed very high for a new starter since I could find them from $135-$270 online. So I called around and got quotes for a new starter (mainly I wanted to get it to a different shop, because I wasnt trusting brickell honda). Got quotes from $400-700 for parts, labor and tax for a new starter. Took it to a shop right down the street and within 10 min. The mechanic said it wasnt the starter and was wondering how brickell honda came to that conclusion. 2 hrs later the mechanic that I went to diagnosed it as a blown master fuse, found the part and replaced it and the car ran fine, all for under $175 and had my car back 2 hrs after taking it there (Mario Busto... highly recommend!). So upset that Brickell Honda has no shame trying to steal from their customers. I went there because I am new to Miami and didnt have a trusted mechanic so I figured the shop at the dealer wouldnt be the cheapest but at least they would be honest.... but I couldnt have been more wrong. I will never be back here. Most dishonest shop Ive been to. Stay away!

Thank you Carlos!I made an appointment for service 5 minutes after they opened. Gave them all my information and was confirmed for an afternoon appointment. When I arrived, I got looked at like I was an alien from another planet and asked if I had called before showing up. Of course, when I met with the representative to turn in my car, he tells me the part they need was never ordered and I MAY need to leave my car over the weekend FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I told him I called as soon as they opened and was told they could take my car today. He says he understood they gave me an appointment but the part was never ordered so he could do nothing for me. I left with no service and no one cared. No one will care about this review either. This isn’t my first horrible encounter with this sorry excuse for a business. The employees hate their jobs and hate working there. They are outwardly verbal about it to customers. This review is for anyone that may see it before making the decision to come here. Go ANYWHERE else. You will save yourself a lot of frustration.

Although they have a lot of good cars, the service is really bad. I had to wait five hours before even seeing a finance person. I would not recommend to anyone that cares about receiving good customer service and feeling comfortable with purchasing a new vehicle go to this dealership. And don’t even bother calling for assistance once you’ve purchased the car and driven off the lot. They do not answer the phones or return voicemails and when and if they do answer they transfer you a bunch of times then eventually hangup. If I could give them negatives stars I lost certainly would!

5 stars for Daniel Murillo who went above and beyond to fix the disastrous experience I had the day before with another salesperson and the manager on call. If it wasn’t for him I would have never bought the car from this dealership. The dealership has great Honda options but be careful not to fall in bad hands....definitively ask for Daniel.
