These guys are amazing!! Our location was even in a hard to get to area and they were more than flexible and patient with the adjustments on making it work. Our turf is beautiful. They did a great job installing it, so nice, neat and clean. They even helped me move furniture back to the area. They wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the work and they were very nice and friendly. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a turf project!

Their work is second to none, but finding folks who keep their word is almost impossible these days. We took a chance on Monster Grass and couldnt be happier! Right off the bat I want to make it very clear the quality of the grass is not an issue at all. We are very satisfied with the work of the laborers and that is the only reason Im providing positive stars. However, the customer service we received from Monster Grass was absolutely abysmal the minute after they took our 50% deposit. A complete lack of communication from the project managers (Alex and Ben) and in the company entirely. They told us one date and pushed it back once it arrived. It is exceptionally clear the project managers of this company prioritize their larger clients where the work is more expensive. I COMPLETELY understand a company would do so, given that the larger client will provide a larger profit. However, if that is the case then they should have some sort of square footage minimum so that they can provide their best customer service to the large clients they want to deal with. It is wholly unprofessional to disregard and push to the side smaller clients. When we voiced this concern with the management the project manager Ben took it very personally and spoke to us in a way not even our parents would do. Essentially telling us we should deal with rudeness and be grateful they even took our project. One of the main reasons we chose this company was due to the positive reviews we read that explained how hands-on the project managers were and how evident it was they cared for their customers. That was not at all the case for us. We had no intention of holding back money, we agreed to the estimate and were fully prepared to pay the full price and did so despite the utter disrespect we received from Ben. If you arent a dog park or large commercial area, Id say to look elsewhere to receive the kind of treatment they reserve for large clients.

I installed a section of artificial turf myself on my property and quickly realized I should hire a professional. Monster Grass was fantastic on their communication with me which was important because we live in the lower Keys. They got me my quote quickly and explained the process. They showed up on time and their crew was very professional did an amazing job. We will certainly be using them again!

I usually don’t write reviews but my experience with this company was so negative that I felt morally obligated to write what we’ve been through so others are made aware. Horrible and highly unreliable service provider. Contracted them for a job at our home backyard and was highly disappointed. A 4-5 day job dragged for over two months and even then it was never completed. They would show up every 3-4 days for a couple of hours at best and then walk away leaving us with our entire backyard messed up in the middle of install process. Despite them knowing better, owners (Jessabelle and Fermin) kept promising their team will show up the next morning and will stay onsite till the job is completely finished but would never show up. At one point they stopped answering their phones and all their office would tell us is that theyll pass on the messages. About a month and a half into it we suffered a flood in our area out of which we fully recovered while the grass install outside was still not complete due to this companys incompetence. At the end and as a compensation they offered us a credit thinking it will justify their poor behavior and make the entire experience we’ve been through any better. Needless to say no such credit was ever issued. We ended up hiring a different company to finish the job and a great job they did in only 2 (!) days, just how real professionals would do. The new contractor even pointed out numerous issues with Monster Grasss original install such as not properly putting cement borders around our wood fence so all the sand drifted away underneath, nails sticking out and other significant flaws all which were taken care of by the new contractor in a perfect manner.If you care about your money and time you’re better off staying away from this company.Monster grass- SHAME ON YOU!!!

Appears they are out of business or crippled and almost there.I received an estimate from this firm a few weeks ago. I requested a sample of the turf for permitting immediately after receiving the estimate. They have been unable to provide a sample. I have reached to the salesperson, Fermin and the crew head MULTIPLE TIMES. Never a sample....move on as I have. In reading some of these reviews I made a wise choice.

So when we bought our first house, in knew i wanted synthetic turf. so doing a ton of research i found monster grass. this was 10 years ago.fast forward to now, and buying our second home, i knew i wanted to do turf again. who better to call? no one but monster grass.after 10 years i knew they only had gotten better. so i gave them a call.from the start, i knew i made the right choice. jesabel who helped set up the install, and payments, was an absolute please to work with. very friendly, and patient. after the setup of the date, and much anticipation, the crew came. on time, which is a huge deal to me. ben, the foreman of the project, was nothing but nice throughout the entire process. told me exactly what they were gonna do and how they were gonna make it so the sand wouldnt fall out and make the turf loose.well they said 2 days, and 2 days it was, mind you it was over thanksgiving weekend too.not only did monster grass meet my expectaions, they exceded it too. went above and beyond what they needed to do for me.oh yeah, one more thing. was a mixup in communications. i didnt check things and missed the putting green we had discussed. well, that was no problem, ben made a call and made it happen. these guys are excellent. if your gonna do any kind of turf, dont call anyone else except monster grass. you will not be disappointed, i promise.

Original review, since then deleted:Though the main product (driveway) came out great, I had a really bad experience with the actual job regarding communication with the person who sold me the product who I only saw when they were initially quoting me and assistance with the final product weeks after when it just did not look right. Had I had a better communication regarding suggestions from the beginning on what to do to have the job look right, I probably would have said yes to all from the very beginning and avoided this situation (front looks undone as it was not part of the initial proposal). At the time the project was underway we recommended them to all my neighbors and then a few weeks later when it just did not look right/complete, I had to end up speaking to other companies for quotes on fixing the area that looked undone. They suggested I speak with the company who did my work first to see what my options were with them and though Monster Grass did not necessarily ignore my request, it was extremely clear they simply did not want to work on my project any longer. Whether it was because I was asking too much or simply because they were already paid for the initial project, I just wish they would have taken more time to make sure their customer was 100% satisfied. Instead, they suggested I add another $2k of work which was never discussed or suggested as an option initially and as we are not construction or driveway experts we did not ask. Just sad that one would recommend a company, feel so proud of putting in money to make their home look better and have to go with another company to complete the job in the end.TO BE CLEAR, I SUGGESTED THE PERMIT ALWAYS WITH NO INTENTIONS OF EVER DOING ANYTHING ILLEGAL TO MY HOME OR PIGGY BACKING OFF ANY OTHER PERMITS.Response from the owner after review sent to myself and his staff in an email:Thank you for the 1 star review. We will use your feed back to improve going forward... please make sure your new company pulls a permit for your approach, we will be reporting to the city the areas we worked on, you need a separate permit for your approach and your sidewalk and dont carry over under our permit. Its imperative we are clear on that...- Team, as we discussed no more driveways for anything or anyone under $7,500. We try to help people but ultimately as you can see its not worth it.

I had an area of my backyard where grass wouldnt grow as its under a huge avocado tree. Someone suggested to look into artificial turf. I called over 6 different companies to compare. Monster had the best price plus really good customer service. Although it was a small job, they even rushed it in time for a party I was hosting. I checked several companies before selecting Monster Grass. The area is just under 300 square feet and will provide a clean play area for our two dogs. They treated me like we were doing a 3000 square foot area. I was kept in the loop from start to finish. Our doggies are very happy. Highly recommend.

ADDENDUM - Monstergrass eventually came to our home to reinforce the eroded areas with concrete and our turf has been great since then. They also extended their warranty another year.We initially had turf installed in our yard and warned the installers not to cover up the rainwater drain spouts diverting rainwater away from our house. Despite that, they paved over the drain covers and promised it would not cause a problem. Needless to say, it definitely was a problem and caused significant erosion of the sand / soil beneath the turf. After many phone calls and e-mails, they reluctantly came back to cut a hole for the drain spouts and leveled the turf. However, they did not reinforce the areas around the fence despite our warnings that the sand would again easily erode away from under the fence and the damage at this point is significant. The erosion is such now that there is a 6-inch divot in the ground and causing damage to our neighbors yard. In addition, the large retaining nails to keep the turf in place are exposed and a hazard to our children playing in the yard. We have e-mailed and called Monstergrass numerous times and have been brushed off every time with false promises to address the problem. At this point, I will likely have to call another company and pay them for the repairs. Their lack of follow-through and integrity should give any potential customer pause.

AMAZING x 1000. Did a full backyard remodel and Fermin and his crew were last ones to come in to button everything up. During the remodel Fermin was personally there to ensure things were done correctly for when it came time for them. Backyard was looking alright when pool was finished but Monster took it to the next level. The reactions range from WOW to This looks like a resort. Worst company Ive ever dealt with. First they never sent me the estimate. Then after dealing with the owner, I agreed to give them a second chance and have them back at my house. John who supposedly fixes situations, came to my house and remeasured gave me an estimate by email and even called me to go over it. A few days later I called him up to sign a contract and start the job. He realized he made a mistake and told me they could not do the job for the price on the estimate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I FOUND A BETTER COMPANY WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!My response to Monster GrassYou almost sound like you know what you’re talking about. You obviously dont remember our situation. After I called and talked to you on the phone and explained my situation, I believe it was your wife who called me back and asked if your company could please come back to my house and make this right. You said you have the right to choose your clients but why did you come back to my house again and give me an estimate? John not only emailed me, he texted me and called me and asked if I had any questions about it. You said I was a problem but your company refused to honor the estimate you gave me therefore you created the problem not I. You talked about me bad mouthing your company but I was just stating the facts of our situation. You are the one who called me at 6:52 in the morning telling me with an aggressive voice to remove what I wrote and then slandering me with words. Ten minutes later you text me and talk about my character. You then bring up what I do for a living which has nothing to do with this situation. It seems like you and your company are the ones with a character problem. Believe me when I say this that I am not hurt and Im way passed this. I am simply stating the facts so everyone else can have an idea of what Monster Grass has to offer. Remember, if you would have honored the estimate or been polite about the situation, we would not be discussing this.

This included concrete pads with turd in between and the area of turf around my pool. Fermin made this happen and it looks absolutely amazing! I can’t thank you guys enough!! Came in and evaluated the entire back area that I wanted as a putting area. They then made it into a Paradise as I have three holes, beautiful grass and a very classy look.
