I was satisfied with my exam and visit. I was told I would have my contacts in 1 week. I have been waiting 2 months and still have no contacts. No explanation when I called. They said they would check on it and I said do not bother, I requested my prescription and will go order online, it is faster, cheaper and less aggravating.

I had an appointment for an eye exam at 4:30pm and I arrived 15 mins early like instructed. I was put in an exam room at 5:17pm.. I was also told they were running behind, that’s great.. maybe the 4 receptionists/employees could make calls to people to let them know they are running late. But that never happened and I walked out. IF APPOINTMENTS CAN’T BE HELD THEN WHY MAKE APPOINTMENTS!

Dr. A is seriously AMAZING! She made me feel comfortable and happy to be there. She is so knowledgeable and taught me things I have never known in my whole life of wearing glasses. And shout out to Grant who was so friendly to us and helped entertain my kids! You guys are the best!

The workers here are seriously so hard working and kind! I haven’t got an eye exam in years and I came in just to make sure everything was still okay and the doctor was able to conclude that I needed glasses years ago so I was glad she was able to catch that before they got worse, another worker by the name or Lorie was also very helpful and patient with me, most of all a young man I believe named Grant gave phenomenal customer service, his positive attitude and energy made my first eye exam experience the best ever! I will for sure be coming back!

Great experience despite the extra steps and limitations with Covid. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I felt safe and was not rushed while looking for glasses. My doctor (forgot her name) was knowledgeable and witty. Grant, who performed my eye tests had the flow of the clinic moving and was helpful and kind.I will definitely be back!

I went into this Visionworks location on March 16th to look for a new pair of glasses. I arrived at 6:25 pm and was told by the employee there that I didn’t have enough time to look for glasses because they close at 7 pm. She basically just wrote us off and didn’t show any care to help us.. I work in customer service and she could have at least told us that she could do what she could in the time until they closed but instead had no desire to help whatsoever. I spoke with the manager the next day and she also didn’t seem to care about what happened and said you have to have 1 hour to get glasses (doesn’t say that anywhere) and was of no help. I understand I wouldn’t have been able to get glasses that day but how the situation was handled and the fact that I didn’t receive any help at all was very frustrating. They seem to be more concerned about their time rather than helping customers out.

First time here, over all, staff is kind and very helpful. Super clean environment. Able to explain the whole process and very informative. Top notch equipment and an easy exam. Well done.Time with the provider was good, knowledgeable, able to speak to my questions. Didnt feel rushed at all. And their turn around time was great!Its always difficult to find a new provider, was with my last eye doc for 10+ years... so to reestablish with a new one, and in a chain service... you all made the transition present. Over all, I am very happy with the service and care here and will continue to seek my eye care needs here. Thanks for keeping a clean and safe environment that is friendly and for your kindness! I had a good experience at this location, everyone was very helpful and very clean. Cleaning all glasses after trying on. The doctor I had was very explanatory, and detailed in answering my questions and concerns. My reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the pricing on glasses. But all in all I had a good experience and would recommend this location!

The optometrist and his assistant were great! However, it has been 5 weeks since my appointment and I still have not received my trial contacts. The optometrist said they would be in in 1 week. I was yelled at on the phone by one of the customer service reps for inquiring about it about 2 weeks after my appointment. I called after another week and spoke to a rep that showed much more empathy. She reordered one eye because she wasnt sure if it was even processed by the manufacturer. It might still be another month before I receive them. If you need contacts soon, it would probably be wise to go somewhere else...unless every single eye doctor is having this issue.

So my visit with the doctor was great. However I was in the area last Saturday and decided to just call and ask of my trial contact was in. I was so rudely told. Im sure that you were told it could take 7-10 days for arrival, I said yes and that I only called since I was near the office. (I dont live 5 minutes away.) At this point I was told that I would also have to set up an appointment for instructions (1st time contacts) of how to properly manage them. I responded okay. To which the person on the other ended abruptly hung up. Doctor visit=great, phone customer service not so great.

We purchased a pair of Ray-Ban glasses that were marked at $180 when we went to check out we were told that during the Covid closures the price had changed. The price was now $50 more. I asked if they were going to honor the price and they said they couldn’t. I don’t believe it’s my job as the consumer to pay for the retailers mistake.

Horrible customer service! I scheduled my kids for their appts. When their glasses were ready, no one bothered to call and notify me. I called on 3 different days and no one picked up. I finally went on the website which showed they were ready and it clearly states to come in and pick up, nowhere does it day to schedule an appt for this. We arrived to pick them up and the front lady that was rude the very 1st appt. said do u have an appt? i said no pick up only. then she stated to come back bc they were too busy. i told her well Ive been calling for days with no answer. Her reply oh weve been very busy. seriously what kinda of answer is that. you should apologize and maybe update your website, learn some customer service tips, and answer the phone calls. your patients/ cusotmeys deserve bettet service. i will never return here and will not recommend your office unless they are looking for rude ppl to deal with.!

My first visit with Dr went well however when I went today to pick up my glasses it was a different story. First I get told by woman doing temperature checks, I should have made an appointment to pick up glasses (even though when I ordered I was told I would only need appointment if I need glasses fitted and email confirmation also did not say anything about appointment) Luckily I was allowed to pick up my glasses and talk to one of the techs about an over charge on my frames(frame tag said $139 but I was charged $159 for each frame ) Something I thought would be an easy fix (grab glasses off display and look at tag) turned into “sometimes they just change the prices without telling us “ and then the temp check comes over and said there was nothing she could do “price in computer is correct price” Definitely will not be back And will be going elsewhere for the rest of my families appointments.If you do go here, double check frame price to receipt before you leave the store and know that the signs for the buy one get one free are only for those without insurance.

The first time I went in a few days ago just to browse, I was greeted by a lady who wanted to know whether I had insurance. I just got insured and didnt have all of my information with me. This woman rudely shouted across the room to her colleague She doesnt have insurance! She acted as though I was wasting her time the entire time I was there. I work in customer service myself, and I understand how hard it could be, so I let her behavior go, thinking she just had a bad day. Well, I just came in today with my insurance information and had my eye exam. Doctor was extremely nice, and thorough. You couldnt ask for a better optometrist. The staff, however, do not communicate efficiently with one another and get a little huffy with customers. I got caught between colleagues shouting across the room IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS She has insurance! No, wait, I thought she didnt have insurance! I DID present my insurance ID to one of the gentlemen prior to checking in, so I thought that they had taken my info. I had also filled out my paperwork on the Visionworks website, and included my insurance information. I feel embarrassed; apparently I should know more than the staff do. I havent had an eye exam here in years and barely remember how the process works. I went ahead and continued the transaction, because I really liked the glasses I had chosen. Sad to say this will be the last time I buy my glasses at this location.

I loved the optometrist, Sonia Chung, as she was very personable and took time to do exam and explain everything to me. I didnt like the lady receptionist checking me in. I thought her to be rude, curt and aloof. I think she was the same lady noted in the other reviews and she definitely is not a good first impression of the business as I almost walked out.

Terrible customer service I actually left this place crying and didn’t even get to have my eye exam. The location I transferred my information from somehow didn’t go through and the lady checking me in didn’t even offer to call the other location she just made me leave and told me to reschedule my appointment. Here’s an example- I was calling to find out information about my insurance because it had changed and she had told me upon walking in that there was more paperwork for me to fill out so while I was waiting for the person I was on the phone with to respond, I asked if I could fill anything else out in the meantime and with a lot of attitude she said “No I need your insurance first.” If she would’ve at least tried to help and changed her tone of voice and not make a huge scene to where everyone in the shop was staring at me because I was trying to stick up for myself then maybe I wouldn’t be writing this review. I‘ve worked in many positions in customer service and I did everything she told me to do without hesitation or question knowing that policies are stricter because of COVID, but never once have I left crying because of someone making me feel incompetent. This process obviously took a while so she ended up telling me I needed to leave and reschedule an appointment. I have some part to blame I will admit I should’ve arrived earlier but it wasn’t my fault the information didn’t transfer and she didn’t have to be so rude to the point that I left crying. It’s important to remember that you have no idea what people are going through and I was already having a bad day. Needless to say, I will not be rescheduling at this location.

I called on Saturday to find out if they had any same day appointments but they did not. Rather than make me ask when the next available appointment was (like the previous place I called) the woman who answered the phone jumped in and said, “I have a couple of openings tomorrow.” The location was out of my way as I was calling while I was in a different neighborhood but on that act alone, I decided I would drive back to go to this location.I got to my appointment almost 30 minutes early. The receptionist was friendly, got me my paperwork, explained to me my insurance options and then got me back with the doctor.The doctor came in right away. He was friendly, funny, personable and explained all the details to me regarding my eye exam. Neither he nor the receptionist pressured me to get extra services added to my exam. By the time I was done with the doctor, it wasn’t even my appointment time! Talk about fast!The gentleman who helped me with my glasses was not only efficient but helped me to get the best value out of my insurance. Especially since I was buying three pairs of glasses. He didn’t try and up sell me either. Gave me my options, made suggestions and even said, “You don’t need this but with your computer work you will probably want this.” - and he was right.Overall it was a great experience. I think from start to finish I was maybe there for like 40 minutes. Most of which I spent deciding on frames. Oh yeah, their selection is THAT big!Will definitely be back soon!

I walked in and brought my prescription from a competitor. They were very nice but proceeded to tell me how bad that competitor was. I believe your product should be able to stand on its own without belittling competitors. Just like with political ads if the first thing you say is negative about other and not what you can do for me than I will not use you. Train your staff in the art of selling themselves and their product not going for the cheap shot.

I feel the level of testing Visionworks gave me during my recent exam was superior. 1st check my peripheral vision and response time. Next my eye exam which was very thorough. Then eye dialation and review of all test findings. Visionworks both times I have had my eyes examined found medical issues with my eyes that no other vision company or optometrist has ever found or noted. Therefore, Visionworks will remain my number 1 care facility for my eyesight.The staff was so friendly and helpful. When selecting frames I picked several and couldnt decide on which ones to purchase. I was assisted by the salesperson providing her opinion on whether or not a particular pair framed my face properly, complimented my skin tone, matched my hair color, and her overall opinion of each frame style on me. I was so thankful she went above and beyond to make my purchased frames, lens and coatings something I will be proud to wear.Thank you to the entire staff at the Superstition Springs Mall for making this my second blessed vision appointment with your Company!

Exam experience was good. They were fast and friendly in the back. However... i will never EVER attempt to buy the frames here ever again. Waited for an hour and 45 min AFTER our exams were done. Yes my girls spent the first hour figuring out the frames they wanted, but no one even acknowledged us through that time. At that point i figured the one technician has to be done with the one and only other customer left in the store soon... continued waiting and waiting and waiting. No prices anywhere in the store to get even the vaguest idea of how bad of a rip-off a complete set of glasses was going to be. But i was patient and polite and waited. We ended up waiting a total of 1hr and 45 minutes before she got to us. Then she listed the costs: 160 for polcarbonate, 150 for scratch resistant film, plus the frames. I hadnt even gotten to the transitions yet. Ridiculous. I stood up and told my daughters we were leaving. Could have saved myself a horrible experience if i had read some of the other reviews.

Had broke my glasses at work today. Came and saw Tori and she totally was able to hook me up with the lens and right frames that I needed. Saved me from having waiting 7-10 days for a set of glasses to be ordered from another location. Helpful and was honest to tell me what frames to get to meet my actual needs. I was immediately greeted as I walked in by an employee named Ashton. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and answered every single question I had. He took the time to pick out different frames until I found one that I really liked. He was very patient with me and I didnt feel rushed at all. The customer service exceeded my expectations. He thoroughly went through my options on the lenses and told me what the difference would be if I did or didnt get some of the options. When I went in later the same day to pick up my glasses, I was helped very quickly. I sat down, tried on my glasses, and they fit perfectly. Very impressed with them. Overall, great experience. I’ve come to the store for years. I called to try to get to use the end of my optometry allowance for my insurance. They refused to allow me to use it to get a new prescription, because they said it was expired. My exam is within the past year and a half. Federal law says prescriptions can be good for up to 2 years. I then contacted a new eye company and told them that I need to get contacts made they called visionworks to get the contact information. Vision Works refused to give them the information and said that the prescription was expired. I had to call them to remind them that it was my federal right to have my access to my medical records. And then I subsequently had to come in person by hand to pick up my last prescription. This place is a joke.

Worst experience ever! Several hours and a few snotty staff members later, I left the store with two pairs of used frames at regular price with no lens. The sales associate (male, I forget his name) was very nice but also very new and the manager and other staff kept taking off instead of standing there and helping him. When a manager and other associates are so rude to a customer and so un-supportive of their staff, It sure says a lot about the store.

I thought the doctor was great and efficient. But the lady that sold me the frames and glasses was not very good at her job. Since you don’t put their names on the receipts I can only go by that she had an accent. She did not make you feel welcomed at all. I asked her about a particular frame she hands me one and then walks away. Customer service is what makes a person‘s business succeed. It was obvious that she did not wanna wait on me. So for that I give you one star.

My husband and I looked up eye places on Google and found this place in the mall near us. The internet advertisement said $60 exams, ours were $70 each because that was with a coupon. When I told the clerk that I thought the exams were advertised on-line for $60, she did not even mention the coupon.My husband needs bi-focals and the salesperson was fine while she was selling all the points of the glasses. He wanted to keep his own frames (theirs started in the high hundreds and most were well over $200.). He priced two sets of lens and even without the frames, the price was over $1300. When we were in obvious sticker shock, she explained that the second pair is free only after you buy their too expensive frames. She eventually offered us a 50% discount which still was almost $700. Just a little too rich for our blood! Gonna take our prescriptions elsewhere.Please note that the doctors exams were thorough and informative.

Theyre professional, courteous and go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. I have been a LensCrafters customer for many years and have used an optometrist that was in their store. Although the optometrist was very good LensCrafters was not very good with frames. In all the years that I have been going I have never been told that glasses were not the right size for my face, yes they would make sure the glasses that I chose where measured but even if I could see the glasses may not look good on me. The other thing that is that their prices are 150-200% higher, they might have a different class of designer glasses but Visionworks has a very good selection of designer glasses. My wife and I will be return customers! Anton was the best at helping us with the correct look and sizing of our selections. Everyone else were very friendly and informative.

I have been to this location three to four times for eye exams and now Optomap twice when they have their BOGO sale. Two years ago I had issues with new progressive glasses that I could not use. I had to go back twice until the manager of the store finally got the prescription/glasses correct for using them for full-time work. I have never been completely happy with the service as a whole until my last visit. I was 100% pleased with my whole experience this time, but have not received my new glasses yet, so hoping they work the first time. I know I have a better chance than last visit though.

I went in for an eye exam and to switch to contacts ,the doctor talked insanely fast so when I had a question on a topic I may have missed while she was talking such as ,”when I will receive the contacts”, she had snapped at me saying “I ALREADY TOLD YOU WE WILL ORDER THE CONTACTS ON MONDAY”. She didn’t even answer my question... At that point I just told myself to be the bigger person. I was afraid to even ask what my vision was because she might get a temper again. 3 stars because I have been going here all my life and liked the glasses and customer service, but it’s a different, unpleasant doctor.

The doctor had a wonderful personality and took his time to explain everything!! The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Great experience!!Update!!!!From a 5 star experience to a 1 star!!When we picked up our glasses the Lady in charge was rude and lied to us more than once. I noticed a defect in the frames when I picked out the frame style and my husband and I both asked the original salesperson to make sure the ones I get dont have that. When picking up the glasses tonight (4/22), the woman today told me all of the Guess frames have the defects. I guess visionworks thinks its ok to sale defective products to their customers. Then she told us that all visionworks have the same frames. I knew better than that so when I questioned it again she changed her story. She was not only rude to us. I watched as she belittled another customer talking to her like she was 5 years old. That sweet customer did not deserve to be treated that way. This employee should not be working with customers! We will only return for the great doctor but will not purchase glasses from this store again.

Went there for my husband to get new eye exam and new glasses. We have Davis Vision Ins. This pompous jerk of an examiner had equipment from the 1970s. Sat my husband in the exam chair, stated his Does this look better click or this? Machine wasnt working. Took a 5 second look at my husbands old, scratched glasses said These look like they should be close to the perscription you need. And charged us $95. out of pocket. No exam, no script, no glasses. Then sent our Insurance a bill, charging for services not delivered and eliminating any possibility husband can use his vision coverage for an entire year. And VW waiting room was packed with people - awaiting high priced non-exams. This place needs to be shut down, investigated and legal actions taken.

Most of the negative reviews for this store are from a long time ago, and their service is exceptional now! The technician was very kind and helpful, and the retail staff was very helpful in helping me find the best frames.

Im completely underwhelmed with this business. I have been disconnected at least twice every time I have tried to call. So far everything they described about how the process should go, has not been how it actually happened. Have not been able to get my glasses yet as they STILL have not come in.....needless to say, will never deal with this business again!

Worst experience!! went in to order my contacts and waited for about 30 min. Lady with purple hair came by and was extremely rude!! When I asked what kind of color contact they had she told me to google it!! I am going into your establishment to get service and you refer me to google to get information on a product your store sells!!!! So horrible.. She never once told me her name and was ignoring question I was asking her. NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN!!! I would have given it ZERO stars but not an option
