I’m a retired medical provider. The care I received on my first visit was amazing. I was able to get in right away. The front staff were very pleasant. The doctor was on time, and not rushed. He answered all my questions. It overall was a great experience!I will change to make this my regular eye professional provider.

Dr Nix was very caring and personal. She listened to our concerns and gave us the time needed for the exam. There was no time limit. When it was time for glasses Randi did an excellent job assisting and helping choose the best fit for me. Randi and Lauren worked together to figure our insurance and find the best solution for us when it came to the payment. Could not have done this without the help of these 2 ladies. I will definitely come back as well as give the referrals out. A Big Thank You!

By far, the best eye doctor and optical center I have ever been to. I was greeted and processed right away. I waited maybe 30 seconds before the tech called me. I then saw Dr. Beebe. What a pro. She understood what I was experiencing and explained everything to me so that I understood. She updated my prescription and off I went to the other side of the office. There they helped me choose the best frame and my lenses. The price was competitive and fair. The service was outstanding. I will be going here from now on. What a great experience.

I was scattering to find a eye doctor for a last minute eye emergency appointment. My Insurance change through my job and I wasn’t sure where to go. The front desk staff was amazing! She was able to get me in same day & called my insurance to assure I was covered prior to committing to the appointment time as I was in the middle of my work shift. I have been trusting Dr. Akers with my vision for over 15 years. Last year, my husband changed our insurance and Dr. Akers was not in the network. I went to one of those chain offices advertised on TV. Oh my gosh - totally inferior! This year, I made sure we chose a policy that included Akers Eye Care. Just went today and it was a wonderful experience. I walked away knowing my eyes are healthy, and I got two pair of glasses that I love at really great prices.

My experience at Akers Pearson was great. I love seeing Dr. Wyman. Felt the eye exam was very thorough and have never had an issue with the eye exam prescription they have given me. Hate the small parking lot where they moved to but can park in the bank parking lot in front if needed. Highly recommend this place.

I called yesterday for an appointment and got scheduled for today. Waiting-Time was about 3 Minutes and I was taken by a very friendly lady for the pre-examination. A couple minutes later I was let into the main examination-room and Dr. Annalee Nix examined my eyes. Everybody was and is very friendly and helps to create a very wellfealing atmosphere. An experience for actually more than 5 stars!

I did not get good service in regard to my prescription. Walgreens said that I did not have a profile. After I made a profile, I called Akers Pearson to make sure that my prescription got submitted. They said that they had left a voice-mail. They told me to call Walgreens and tell them to check their voice-mail. I called Walgreens and got a recording.

Always a positive experience working with Dr Pearson. He is so knowledgeable, especially about contacts, and I always feel like he has my best interests at heart.

Dr. Akers, or Frank, is an amazing eye doctor. Ive been coming here for at least the last 10+ years, before they expanded they provided the same high quality eye exams-lens options with quality equipment and options.The expansion has increased the quality even more so, I saw they are using newer technology/machines, everything looks new and nice - very professional looking - clean - and the staff are very nice and professional as well.The only minor complaint I had with the new screening room was the plastic mat in one of the screening rooms I slid on and the chair was way too small, I am a pretty big guy so I dont expect every business to accommodate but it was a pretty small chair. The employee working with me doing the pre-test screening was able to get me a temporary larger chair, which was nice of them.I plan to continue coming here every 6-12 months for as long as my eyes are still needing a closer look (which will probably be forever!) and new prescription. I prefer shopping for glasses/lenses online, but in the past had some nice glasses from here, but they are generally more expensive - higher-end.

I decided to try this place out for my yearly exam and it was a great choice. The staff were all amazing. They were very polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed like good people. Dr. Beebe was a real pleasure to work with as well. She was very thorough, easy to talk to, and seemed to actually care about me and my vision needs. They care more about moving locations than helping patients. I had an eye exam at their superstition springs location before they moved and ordered contact lenses. Almost a month later I didn’t get anything in the mail. I called the office and left a message that they “check regularly while moving” and didn’t hear anything back for a few days. The Phoenix location couldn’t help me because they use a different system. Fine. I had to go through my vision insurance to get a hold of them! Long story short my contacts got lost in the mail because they were moving but they didn’t bother to tell me after taking my $275. I spoke to Genevieve on the phone who was super apologetic and very helpful. She was able to contact the manufacturer and get them overnighted to me free of charge.I will be using a different optometrist office next year for my annual visit.

I woke on Saturday morning at 7 with extreme pain in my eye. Being an out of state snow bird, I searched google for eye emergency and found Dr.Akers. Having no more than google reviews to go on I called the office and left my number. Within 5 min Dr. Akers called back and said to come in when they opened at 8. I did and was seen immediately. Dr. Wyman treated me for a corneal abrasion and I walked out pain free.Thank you so much for the swift response and treatment.
