The doctor was very good. Very kind and knowledgeable. However, the office staff is extremely unprofessional. The office manager is pretty bad. I will NEVER go back here. After I found they charged wrongly, they gave me a lot of excuses. I do not know if they over charged me intentionally. PLEASE BE AWARE, THEY MAY BE OVERCHARGING YOU.

I received all my paperwork and remindersprior to my scheduled appointment. My wait time to see the Doctor was short. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. They did a thorough job.

I will NEVER go back here. The eye doctor was good. Very helpful and informative. The office staff however is extremely unprofessional. The turnover is ridiculous. Zero customer service skills. It took THREE visits to get them to hand over my sons prescription. They basically hold the prescription hostage until you tell them youre NOT ordering contacts/glasses from them. Every other place Ive been to gives the prescription to you at the first appointment. Dont waste your time and money.

My daughter and I love Drs. Gieske and Schechter! They go above and beyond to manage our eye health, while making us feel welcomed like family. We drive an hour to see them and wouldnt have it any other way. Highly recommend!!

I think Dr. Schechter did a great job during the examination. The major disappointments for me were the extended waiting periods. I left work early in order to arrive at 3:50pm for my 4 oclock appointment. The exams werent completed until sometime after 6pm. Most of this time was due to waiting for the doctor or an assistant to be ready for the next step. I dont appreciate the obvious overbooking.I let the optician know that Id probably not be interested in any eyeglasses because the prices are extremely high compared to my alternatives. She seemed annoyed with me from that point onward. I only intended to save her the time and energy by being upfront and honest about my intentions.

I’m starting to get at my wit’s end with this place. After months of giving my insurance information repeatedly, they still have not successfully billed my insurance and continue to claim that it has been denied (my insurance has received nothing). Come this time around, they have decided to inform me that due to the age of the bill my insurance might reject it. Why do I owe a bill that you have repeatedly failed to bill the insurance with the information I have given? Worse, repeatedly given? What is happening? I’ve come here intermittently for years and have not changed my insurance information since! The management is either deliberately not logging the information I give them, or their people are not communicating.

Im particular and even slight variations in my glasses makes a huge difference to me. The doctors are incredible. Dr Gail takes her time, explains and makes sure everything is carefully considered in each visit. In fact, her vitamin recommendation has seen improvements in my eyes. It doesnt get better than that! The staff is very professional and Patii is able to ensure my glasses are adjusted perfectly which is not easy with my sensitives. If youre looking for professional eye care, I highly recommend this in the ONLY place you should consider.

Changed provider to this office after several uncomfortable and awkward experiences at my previous provider. Not only was I happier with my vision after the first visit, but the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. In fact, I was very nervous about addressing an issue I had with my most recent order due to how this typically goes. The staff was both respectful and professional in addressing the issue. Despite the issue being completely my own confusion they were very nice and reassuring.

I having being going to Sharper Vision with my six children for many years. We have had great individualized care and excellent service. From the first call to the follow up, everyone on their team has been friendly and professional. The doctors are well trained and always up-to-date on new information. They will also make sure that you are referred to the proper ophthalmologist when needed. When my mother moved in with me, this was the first place I took her for her care and her referrals. I trust the doctors and staff at Sharper Vision to make sure my familys eyes are protected.

Sharper vision eyecare off brown Rd, is a horrible place. I have never witnessed such a lack of professionalism, and or compassion for patients. Not only did it take me two hours to get there after work, when we have a courtesy call to confirm they did not correct me if a different appointment time. Worse, when we got there the optometrist was still there but they said they could not see my 11 year old daughter who has been waiting for this appointment for three weeks, and told all her friends about getting contacts. I returned to Sharper Vision Eye Care after six years without seeing an optometrist. The staff was very friendly, personable, and helpful. I did not have to wait a long time to see the doctor or to get help picking out a new pair of glasses. The staff was very knowledgeable when answering my questions and I was very pleased with my visit overall.The ability to fill out new patient paperwork electronically and receive reminders via text message or email was also very convenient for me.I would definitely recommend Sharper Vision Eye Care.

My wife has gone here for years and when I got some new sunglasses (from somewhere else) that were crooked, she told me to go here and theyd fix them. Within about ten minutes my sunglasses were straight and comfy, and no charge. If their paid services are as good as my quick experience, then I definitely recommend them.

Ive been going here for over 10 years and these are great doctors, fantastic friendly staff and convenient location. The office is comfortable and they have a good selection of eye wear. I like that my doctor remembers me even though I usually only go in once a year. I like that she knows what to recommend to me and doesnt try to get me to buy glasses even if my prescription changed just a little. Highly recommend!

My husband had been going to Sharper Vision for several years and had high reviews. My daughter was complaining about her eyesight and her pediatrician recommended I take her to get her eyes checked. My daughter and I both had our eyes checked and received a prescription. We were both told we needed to wear our glasses all day everyday. My daughter immediately had issues with her glasses. She was seeing double all of the time. We were told the issue was because we didnt purchase the anti-glare for her. We then had anti-glare added to her glasses and she was still telling me that she was having issues in certain light. Fast forward 7 months, my headaches returned and my daughter was telling me she could no longer see the board at school. We went to a new Ophthalmologist and were told that there was barely any prescription in either of our glasses and that our prescriptions were completely incorrect. We called Sharper Vision regarding this since we had spent several hundred dollars on glasses 9 months ago. The response was You told us you needed a prescription for looking at your computer, not for reading and it is normal for children to see double and for their prescription to drastically change. The staff has been rude and condescending. I am questioning their ethics and their desire to provide care to their patients. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I am discussed with the response from Sharper Vision and their lack of professionalism.

Hi, Ive been going to Sharper Vision for quite awhile now. I really like the professionalism and attitude of the people that work there. I especially like the doctors. They take time with you and explain the results. Its a very friendly place Ive had some of my best prescriptions for glasses from them.

Extremely caring eye doctor very careful in getting you want you need they take there time to insure your glasses are the best for you. I work 15 miles from there location and could have went to a lot of other places seeing there where many between my home and job but i know i will be given the best care there. Its well worth the trip .

I have been seeing Dr. Gieske for 16 years! We checked this last visit ha ha, I was just a kid then. Always very helpful and wonderful staff. I always feel comfortable and welcome. Also, I love the frames available here. Glasses and sunglasses this time, so excited! Anytime I had eye issues they always gave me free trials. The one time I had issues with my glasses and the prescription was filled incorrectly, the Sharper Vision team made it right by expediting the correction and providing a discount. I know errors can occur, the way they responded reinforced my loyalty. Awesome job and I will always recommend them.

I really like the Sharper Vision Office and all the people there. Ive been a patient and customer of theirs for about a year now. The office is clean and the staff is friendly, professional, and good at what they do. I never have to wait around long when I visit and when I call the office, they are extremely responsive and efficient. I feel like I am in very capable hands there. Dr. Gail Schechter is awesome.

The whole experience here was good. The staff is professional and attentive, and I felt as though I was there top priority. The cost was as expected. Hence the four stars. To earn five the business would have to have had to do exceptionally well.

VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE!!!! The quality of the eye exams is second to none, but once they determine your percription, get it written and go elsewhere for your glasses. I purchased a pair of single vision frames and lenses from them. They were real good ones, but I had insurance and you cant cheat on your eyes. I went to several opticians with my script to have the SAME IDENTICAL frames and lenses and found quite a price difference. Sharper Vision $750 for one pair. Others varied from $200-250 for TWO pairs....quite a difference and the others were with no insurance and Sharper Vision was after insurance!!!! INTERESTING!! You make the choice!

There are plenty of great eye centers out there.... DONT BOTHER WITH THIS ONE! They have NO sense of what customer service is! They are only in it for the sale. They Doctors are not to be trusted and the staff is even worse! Run, dont walk away from this eye center!

Dr. Schechter has been my optometrist since she started practicing medicine, my family and I have followed her all over the valley because we appreciate her expertise, professionalism, patient and friendly care for our eyes.The selection of frames is amazing, always up to date and fashionable, varied enough to please our picky daughter and my 90 year old mother-in-law.The staff is friendly, professional and caring. Jake, one of the opticians, pays meticulous attention to the needs of patients, has great expertise at fitting/picking the right frame, and his customer service is commendable.We would not go anywhere else for eye care.

The staff was absolutely outstanding and did not rush me on my decision of what glasses I wanted and what features I needed. I first came to Sharper Vision a few years ago after having a less than good experience at a different eye-care provider. With new insurance at work, I had been forced to leave my regular provider, and find a place that accepted my insurance. My first attempts at finding a new place had turned out badly - I thought surely I would never find a place as good as my old one. But Sharper Vision proved me wrong. The technology they have here, along with their expert knowledge, gave me what was perhaps the best eye exam I have ever had! When I got my new glasses, I was so excited - I could never remember seeing so clearly. And this doesnt even mention their service - which is, to say the least, fantastic. When it came time here recently to go in for another exam, I even brought my mother, who hadnt had an eye exam in years. She, too, was thrilled with the service and exam. We will both most likely be returning to Sharper Vision in the future.

I have been going to Dr Teri for several years. She is truly a professional and and I believe she is one of best eye care doctors. She has help me immensely on a couple of separate occasions with eye problems. Not just ordinary eye situations but what could have been very complicated and serious situations. She has always acted quickly and would schedule me several consecutive visits to ensure my eyes were healing properly. The office staff have always been friendly. Wait time is very minimal. Nice comfortable office, friendly staff. Dr. Gieske explained what she was looking at, how she was zeroing in on my prescription. Prescription is crisp and the optician Joy helped me select a cool frame. Glasses delivered sooner than promised. I like the technology savvy touches too, like text reminders to your phone for appointments or when your glasses are ready.

Dr. Schechter is AMAZING.... She is very patient, listens to your concerns, explains everything, helps to destress the situation and is a very caring individual. My insurance was no longer accepted by this practice but I believe in her care so much that I paid the out of pocket expense just to get her opinion! Staff is friendly and there is a nice atmosphere in the office.

I came here after moving back from Africa where I developed an odd eye problem (right eye goes blind from time to time). Staff couldnt figure out the problem and didnt provide any possible solutions. They were friendly and gave me a battery of tests, but no consultation left me a bit dissatisfied.

This visit was for my 10 year old grand daughter. Everyone here acted in a professional manner and help my husband and I get Madisen not only frames she liked but also used her old frames to make a second pair. I requested transitions with both pairs the cost was very reasonable and the back up pair made with her old frames only took a week. Weve been going to Sharper Vision for a number of years now and have always been extremely pleased with the professionalism, quality of service, customer care and attention to detail. Been going here for years. There new office is beautiful. Love the Docs and staff, would refer anyone to them without hesitation.

Dr Schecter has taken care of my family and my eye needs for close to 30 years. It is now nearly 22 miles but always worth the distance and time. She continues to be extremely thorough and solves the current issue, or refers on to selective subspecialists if necessary.

The staff was friendly, but this turned out to be very expensive for contact lenses. It would have been helpful if they would have discussed prices prior to the eye exam. Ive worn contacts for over 20 years and have never heard of a charge to measure you eye for contacts.

Dr. Schechter spent a long period of time with me going over what she saw with my eye that had 2 surgeries on and felt that there was still a problem. She referred me to a Retinal Specialist.This is my 3rd visit with Dr. Schechter and the reason why is because I have full trust in her observing me and my eyes.

I have a multitude of eye problems, including horrible vision, flat corneas, astigmatism, and a history of ulcers in the eye. Not only was Dr. Schecter knowledgeable and helpful, but never in my 19 years of wearing contact lenses have I had an optometrist so dedicated to helping me find the right contacts for my multiple eye problems. Instead of just picking a lens and going with it, Dr. Schecter actually ordered multiple lenses for me to try on so that we could find the best fit. I was very impressed with that. One of the girls that work there isnt the friendliest, but really, the rest of the staff make up for that, especially Dr. Schecter.

Ive been coming to Sharper Vision since they opened. Dr Gieske treated me at another facility and I liked her so much, I brought my three children to see her too. We have been treated by both Drs Gieske and Schecter, and both are great! Now that the kids are on their own, my husband and I still come to Sharper Vision for our continuing eye care needs. The glasses we get from them sometimes seem more expensive, but the quality is fantastic! Sometimes, after two years of wear, my lenses look brand new! If not for a change in prescription, they are in excellent condition and couldve been worn much longer. Occasionally, Id try the cheaper glasses with other lenses that become scratched and I can hardly wait for my appointment to get new ones. Yes, Ive learned that Sharper Vision means quality eyecare!

-Gave me a receipt with another customers information.-Ordered the wrong frame for me.-1st lenses failed the tint.-2nd lenses came without anti-glare (but they let me wear them until the reorder came).-2nd lenses had too much of a curve and dont seat properly into the frame.-Waiting for lens #3 to see what went wrong with them.
