Was having a no dash lights and no clearance light working. Brought my truck in and they fixed the problem by fixing two inline fuses and cleaning the fuse box. $1080.00. 1 month later the fuse box had a melted 30amp fuse and the fuse box melted around that fuse and the wiring. Is there work and the melted fuse and wiring connected not sure. For the price I paid I sure would have thought they would have made sure that everything in that fuse box was in perfect order.

I had an electric issue and the gentleman fixed my issue within 2 minutes and instead of lying to me or charging me for a small repair he did it free. This shows me how honest he is and he is not money hungry. I would take any vehicle new or old mine was brand new here before i take it to a dealer or mechanic again. Thank you again sir. Have a great Thanksgiving

Positive - The staff appeared to be genuinely interested in helping. They were willing to look at the car without much issue.Negative -#1 I came to this location because I was told over the phone that they were absolutely fine with using parts brought in by the customer, and that I would just have to keep in mind that responsibility would fall entirely on me if something went wrong. After looking at the car, they changed this position and said they wouldnt use my parts.#2 I was told that my car was suffering from rust and cold-weather related damage, and that it would cost approximately $1500 for work (on steering wheel and replacement of suspension-related parts). It turned out that the brake rotors just needed to be replaced - much less than $1500. (And I found a place - a dealer, as matter of fact - that would use my parts.)#3 Apparently the mechanic takes off early on Fridays. Would be nice if customers could be informed of this.***Edit: I originally gave two stars, but after reading the unprofessional response, I changed to one.Ive lived much of my life in snowy environments. Snow in itself doesnt affect cars, but some areas put too much salt or other chemicals on the ground during the winter, and it seems like this car was left out in the open for a while, possibly at a repair shop. However, I have noticed that cars in Arizona suffer severely from fading paint jobs. People also dont seem to have an issue driving very damaged vehicles here, and drivers are more absent-minded.Go to Earnhardt. The staff is professional, they know what theyre talking about, theyre willing to use customer-supplied parts, theyre honest, and they are available during the hours in which they say they will be available.

These guys are one of the best at electrical troubleshooting. My Dodge Dakota transmission was shifting erratically to the point of almost not going anymore and I had a transmission shop tell me its electrical prob and an electrical shop tell me its a transmission problem but none of them could figure it out. These guys figured it out in a little over an hour and had it fixed in the next hour. And instead of buying the overpriced pigtail plug piece of wiring for $120 they fixed it with there own for i think $7.50 was the charge. So he saved me some cash at the same time. Highly recommend these guys they are competent and affordable.

The owner Nicolaas is a great guy and the service is fantastic! These guys dont need to advertise because word of mouth is the best advertising you can buy. They sold me a rebuilt 100 amp alternator for my truck and camper and rebuilt my old 81 amp as a spare for less than I could have ordered one online! Do not hesitate to do business with Village Auto Electric

These guys did a great job! I couldnt be happier. I had a Chevy express 2003 van with multiple dash lights on including ABS, security, and airbag. I had to get it to one other shop as well as multiple shade tree repairman and nobody could figure out the problem. These guys fixed it in about two hours and were able to get the cost very reasonable.

Nicholas is definitely the business owner that everybody should learn from. Couple weeks ago I brought my work van there after couple mechanics didnt know whats wrong with it. After days of not being able to work and wasted money on other mechanics, Nick and his crew fixed the problem and I was back on the road in a timely manner not losing money and customers anymore... I would definitely recommend this shop to anybody in need of an experts taking care of their vehicles!

Where to start... 100s of dollars and 4 months of agonizing trips to and from two local auto shops could not remedy my mothers hard starting Civic. 2 days at Village Auto Electric did the trick. The shops owner, well call her Winnie cause well... That is her name, was filling in at the front desk. She was most pleasant. The price for the repair was more than reasonable. This shop was recommend by Red Mountain Tire and Auto as a go to place for when they are stumped. Just do your self a favor and go to Village Auto Electric first.

Worst service I’ve ever received in my life easily, this place literally broke 4 times as much as they fixed.. that’s not an exaggeration.. I brought my truck in for a few simple repairs they fixed 1 out of 4 things but lied and told me they fixed them all, charged me for everything, over $800 and when I got it back not only had they not fixed almost anything that I was charged for, they had broken like 3 different things I had never had a problem with, my horn, hazard lights and the turn signal I brought it in specifically for were now broken as well as the clips holding my dash on so now it’s falling off always.. brought it back in very displeased and specifically asked that they actually check to make sure they fixed things this time, got it back 2nd time with nothing fixed at all and now my CD player won’t power up and my lights don’t work in the cab.. plus I’m down about 2 weeks of work I needed my truck for.. there’s no way they didn’t know that they broke all these things so as far as I can figure they intentionally broke things on my car bc they know they suck and don’t get return business and they had already got all the money from me they could.. Any good reviews had to be for the old owners who were very good.. I’d also like to point out that I’m a reviewer for google, a position you can only get bc your reviews have been found to be especially accurate.

Just OK. Was recommended to this place, but as it turns out, because of the old owner. Told me it would take 4K to fix my ride, but wouldnt tell my the particulars. Im not sure they didnt want the job or if they expected a blank check.

Tried to get an estimate from here & the response was LITERALLYI have no idea, we charge by the hour1 of 2 things,1. Either they are trying to leave the door open so they can charge you what ever insane amount they want.2. They havent been doing this long enough to be trusted with a vehicle.I got a quote from another shop & they had it done the next day for less than the estimate.

I highly recommend Village auto Electric. I took my Silverado in to solve an electrical problem and was told it was fixed, but we left town on a trip and the problem came back. We had it repaired in Oregan and when we came back I asked for a refund and the owner returned my money in full with no argument. He explained that he had problems with the man that worked on my truck with his work and had to let him go.

I took my wifes Durango there for an intermittent stalling problem that I was sure was an electric problem. I chose this place because of the reviews. I wish I would have taken it just about anywhere else. They diagnosed the problem as a bad PCM and told me that new ones were on a national back order with no date for when they would be available but there was a shop that rebuild computers down the road and they could take it there. I agreed and they said it would take maybe a week and would call me when it was done. After many calls and being repeatedly put off I finally got the car back a month later. We paid $400 and were glad to have the car back. 3 days later the car stalled with the same problem. I took the car back and they said they wouldnt be able to look at it for a couple days. A week later with no updates I called them to check and was told that they were rebuilding the computer again.....then was told that the computer couldnt be rebuilt....then was told that they found one and installed it but now the check engine light was on and the new computer was bad....then was told that they were having trouble locating another matching computer....at every step they kept telling me that they would call me back and didnt. At every step they kept telling me that it would be ready in a couple days and it wasnt. The last straw was after they had had the car for a SECOND month and that a new computer was on its way and would be there that day or the following day at the latest. The following day I was told that not only was the computer not in but was in Phoenix but I would have to pony up another $120 for them to warranty their work. I told them I would not pay their extortion and to have my truck and my money ready for me to pick it up on Monday. I was told that they would only refund the $160 for the part. Then when I got there to pick up the truck on Monday the guy handed me my keys and some cash without saying a word. I counted the money....$100. When I asked where the rest of the money was I was told that that is all he got from the other shop and that Village Auto had been sold and that then new owner was out of town and didnt have to honor the warranty of the old owner....but he would check when the new owner got into town the next day.I called the next day and guess what, the new owner wasnt in town yet...but he would be in town in a couple days.I understand that stuff happens and things dont always go smoothly. I feel that I was more than patient and understanding but 2 months of being lied to and put off is a bit much for anyone to have to deal with. One last thing. When I told them I wanted my keys and money back I called a Dodge dealership and found out that, yes, the PCM is on back order but they referred me to a place that had a new one in stock. A quick google search found 3 places on the first page that had rebuilt PCMs in stock. 5 days after ordering it was on my front porch and 20 minutes later it was installed. Nobody will ever be able to convince me that after the first month they just put my original computer back in and charged me like they fixed it.I am warning everyone to stay away.
