I am very grateful for Scott and everyone there. They try really hard to solve my old stubborn Jeep’s problems and were able to fix them. They took very good care of my car and my family. Very friendly and personable. My Jeep was in and out of the shop a lot at one point where I’m sure they sight of it may have put some fear into some lol but no matter how many times she was back in the shop for a new problem they patched her up good as new! And even help work with me with payments. I plan going back to them for my future cars, I trust them and they care about their customers and their vehicles!

Always a good experience at Sunland AutoWe have always had a good experience at Sunland Auto. I have taken both our vehicles there on several occasions for different various problems and have always been pleased. My last visit however was exceptional as Sunland went the extra mile to find and install a part that was no longer available from the manufacturer or the dealerships for the make and model of my vehicle. After a lot of searching they were able to find a used part from a junkyard that fit, matched, and worked perfectly. Very pleased - once again - as always.

I had heard many good things about Sunland Auto Service, so I decided to give them a try. I’ve had two of my vehicles serviced there now. My alternator quit on me at about noon on a Friday. I called Sunland expecting a bring it in on Monday. Instead, they said bring it in now. In spite of parts problems, I was back on the road by late afternoon that same day. Thanks so much Sunland Auto.

I only have one car, and they worked with me to get it in the shop and repair it in a timely manner. They have earned my loyalty. They were recommended to me by a friend, and I highly recommend them to all my friends and relatives.

Scott and Steve were outstanding. I took my Sprinter Van into them because I was leaking diesel and coolant and needed to pass emissions. They quickly diagnosed the issues, sourced the parts for repair, and got me up and running in half the time I anticipated. Steve and Scott provided the level of attention to detail and prompt service I expected at MB, but never received. These guys understand customer service. Not to mention they really know how to hustle a large vehicle around their parking lot. Odd to say, but Im looking forward to working with these guys again in the future (even though I wont want to)!

I really hate to leave this review, but even after a few days of picking up my truck I felt the need to leave this review. I made an appointment for my truck to get a few things done, I dropped it off at 715 in the morning. I then had to make 4 calls that day to see what was going on. The owner informed me they hadnt started to work on it yet, only had one diesel mech, and they dont have a lift to really look at things. I reminded him I needed the truck by COB the next day to leave for a vacation. We spoke again later that evening when he told me it was throwing EGR sensors as well. Agreeing to talk in the morning I called him at 11 to see what the problem was and I still had no answer. The owner kept informing me ranges it could be for the problems it may be. I called back at 1 to get another update and I was met with yet again with excuses of not having an answer for anything.At this point, They had my truck for 2 days an had no real answers or a estimate to give me on cost of repairs, I went to go pick up my truck and after checking in, the owner came inside and started showing a customer his new gun he had just purchased and left me standing there for about 10 minutes until he said he had to check on where my vehicle was. He came back and told me that they had to move 4 or 5 cars to get it out from their back...I had an appointment to get my truck fuel filter done, transmission filters replaced, and a knock sensor replaced, and they simply put my truck in the back didnt look or touch it or try to give me an estimate. they are to busy and to much of a mess for new customers. They may have been good once, but this place is a major bust.

Scott was able to fit my older Duramax in for an appointment with short notice. Their mechanics found the source of the power steering leak and were able to replace the high pressure hose at a reasonable price. I appreciate there were no up sale maintenance items as some other repair shops have done. Their waiting area was clean with social distancing while I waited for my wife to pick me up from North Phoenix. I was in the area for other appointments, but I would recommend their services. I was on my way 4 hours later after a nice lunch date. Thanks again.

This place is the best. dont go anywhere else. they are great mechanics and unbelievably honest. they fix all our cars. twice I brought my car in thinking I knew the problems. both times I was wrong. first time they sent me on my way for no charge. second time I thought it was going to cost me at least $600 to replace the alternator as I was told by a different mechanic. they said nope just a battery. they replaced it and saved me a bunch of money. before we found them we took a car to a different mechanic who quoted us $1,400 for some work. someone recommended Sunland to us so we took it to them and got charged $181. all true and I am not related. I would give them 10 Stars if I could.

I dont think you can find a better, more honest, more knowledgeable auto shop in the Valley. Ive been bringing multiple vehicles here for myself and 2 kids for 10+ years. Scott, current owner and previous manager, and current manager Tom, have been angels on my shoulder through some problematic vehicles. A good auto shop can be so hard to find. Look no further.

They are a phenomenal small auto shop that focus on taking care of their customers. I had to have them look at my Honda Civic that had a bad transmission computer (ECT or something like that, not the best with cars) that a previous mechanic couldnt ID and told me Id need a whole new transmission. Took it to him on a recommendation for second opinion, tested everything and took time to figure out the real issue, and presented me with multiple options to fix without pressure, and fair and transparent pricing and timelines. They deserve all the business they can handle!

Genuine company, genuine staff! I just cannot thank Sunland Auto Service enough for what they have done for my son and his car. When my son first moved to Mesa for college, he took it to another friendly mechanic and was quoted several thousand dollars for unnecessary repairs and the car sat there for days with no work being done while my son had to Uber back and forth to school. I took my car in last Monday after it started acting up Friday nite . I was going to take it to another location sat because I was afraid my car would not hold until Monday but after reading the reviews of that place I decided to wait until Monday and take it in to Sunland auto instead. I took my husbands truck in thinking he needed New brake pads. After the mechanics evaluated our vehicle, Steve informed me that there is still plenty of pad left on all four brakes. He stated that they do not need to be replaced at this time. Not only are they reasonably priced, they are HONEST. I then made an appointment for my vehicle to get an oil change for the next day. I received the same great service the next day. Chuck, Steve and Scott are friendly and professional. I recommend this shop if you are looking for a good auto shop.

These guys dont need another 5 star review. Im doing this purely out of gratitude.Weve been using Sunland for years. They were always honest, professional, and fairly priced. They always said that they would stand by their work.Then we had trouble with our A/C that put that promise to the test. We took the car in originally because the A/C wasnt blowing cold. They fixed it. Then it stopped working again. It did this about 5 times over the course of a few months.Sunland took it back each time and warrantied their work. It was frustrating for both of them and us. But they were always professional and patient. They wanted to get it right, and they did. They could have blamed the car (140k miles), but they didnt. I only paid for new work and even then, they ended doing a lot on their own dime.Thanks, Scott and Steve. I know I can count on your word.

I cannot recommend this shop enough. All the staff is very polite and professional. I trust them with any of the work Ive needed. When they recommend work to be done it doesnt feel like an upsell, its usually only because its really necessary or will save a lot of money in preventative work. Ive literally had them say you will need this X part soon, but I wouldnt replace it til it breaks. Just making you aware that you got about 3-6 months til we need to deal with that. I drive out of my way to go here even though I live farther now. Youre only problem with them will be to find parking because theyre so good, everyone else is using them too.

And asked me if I needed a lift home when I dropped off my van!I waffled between a 4 and a 5 because available parking is atrocious, and theyre so busy you might not get same day service. But theyre worth it! So 5 it is.

I have received good service here each time I come. I feel that I am treated honestly and fairly. The prices have been better than some other estimates Ive gotten. They have been able to get to me the same day every time I have needed work. Parking is difficult sometimes, but being full is representative of their good work. I recommend it.

I went in for an oil change and asked for the air filter to be changed. However, I forgot that I had just replaced the air filter. They said the air filter looked good and did not change it. Nice to see them not replace something that was new. I feel I can trust their advice.

Found my mechanic. My AC blower motor was dead. While getting quotes Scott at Sundland Auto contacted me first and offered a free check of the motor at my convenience he diagnosed the problem and even had the time to make the repair that day. We’ve been going to Sunland Auto for about 20 years. We’ve found them to be very honest, reasonable, thorough and prompt with their services. They value your business and don’t treat you like a number. It’s a family owned business, currently ran by Scott Shepard, who’s father started it in 1982. Not only do they fix what’s wrong, but tell you what may need attention in the future. They’ll also tell you what doesn’t need to be fixed, and when it needs attention! If money’s tight at the moment, this is a great attribute!They really have helped us out so many times over the years. I don’t know how to thank them!

Truck taken here on a recommendation after seeing a friend come all the way across town just to go there. An the experience was awesome personal and straight to the point. The price was right for the job an not just randomly $500 because they could. Id take any of my vehicles here so long as I live in range.

Scott is very friendly and listened to my concerns about both my vehicles I have brought into them for work. We all know a diagnostic or repair is only as good as the technician working on the vehicle. The technicians in my case have been correct in their diagnosis that three other shops including two dealers were not able to diagnose properly. Labor rates are fair and service is top notch.

Unbelievable how completely useless this shop is. took it in for power steering pump and a/c service. He replaced the pump and as I drove it off the lot it wasnt working at all, so he hadnt even tested it. its a work truck so i had to deal with it for a few days. I took it back and he said the pump was bad and would replace that for free. He then started up about the steering linkage being frozen and he couldnt get that part because they dont make them anymore, Its a 2006. and if that was frozen then I wouldnt have been able to turn the wheel at all . He told me if the second pump went out he couldnt help me. The second pump lasted 3 hours before going out again. The same morning the a/c , that had lasted 6 days also went out. I took it somewhere else and they told me he had overcharged the a/c by a pound and a half of freon. A waste of my time and my money from a place that doesnt deserve anyones business.

They were very nice and went beyond to find a part for my van.

This place was nothing short of amazing. I initially took my car to another shop. That shop was condescending and asked me to pay what seemed to be a crazy amount. That’s when I started calling around. I decided to give Sunland Auto a try, based on the reasonable quote and very professional and friendly staff. They also informed me the other shop was trying to charge me for an additional service that should have been part of the actual repair.
