Todd did a great installation. I’m quite impressed! I thought we were going to have to purchase a while new door. Nope. This crew got it fixed. Although the order took about three weeks to complete, they called with updates along the way.

He called me on the way and showed up at the exact time he said he would.The installation was very fast and Brandon cleaned up after himself, it looks like ne was never here. He even hooked up my home security system again on my windows and changed my locks so that all the windows would have the same locks.All in all, Brandon was the best technician I could have asked for and I highly recommend him.

I will try to keep this brief, but I just cannot say enough good things about this company, the owner Barry, and the craftsman Jose that they sent to our house (who is Italian/South American and speaks perfect English).We are renting a house, and my husband recently threw a rock (with the lawn mower), at the side door which has a large, wood-latticed window in it and cracked it to pieces. To replace the door would have cost $1800, so I went in search of someone who could replace the double-paned window on Facebook. Glass Doctor had the highest reviews, so I sent a message not really expecting to hear back soon because it was late in the evening on a weekend. However, Barry responded to my inquiry almost immediately and we set up a time for him to come out and look at it. He came out the following Monday and was himself so joyful and sweet. He surveyed the damage and assessed the ability to replace the window and determined that it could be done. We were forewarned that it would be costly and difficult (which it was, but still cheaper than a new door). He ordered the window, which took about two weeks to come in, then scheduled a time for Jose to come out and fix it. Jose came to the house perfectly within the time frame given, and wearing a mask as I requested. He immediately got to work and, bless him, although he was sweltering in the summer heat he didnt even take a break. He was so very pleasant and polite and struck up a conversation with my husband about Italy and my husband even got to practice a little of his Italian.Bottom line, Jose essentially REBUILT the wood lattice on the door and reinstalled the window so well that you can not even tell anything ever happened. Im beyond impressed by the professionalism, kindness and attentiveness of everyone with whom I dealt at Glass Doctor of Memphis and I can not recommend them highly enough. If you need complicated (or uncomplicated) glass work done, call Barry and ask for Jose!

I had an emergency situation at my home and needed to replace a window immediately. I was very aware that due to the pandemic over the past year, ordering anything custom would take quite a bit of time. My hope was going with Glass Doctor would be worth the extended wait time to ensure the job was done professionally. Not only were they able to speed up my request earlier than what I expected, the installation was done quickly and they performed clean up afterwards. With some additional follow up to reinstall the muttons to the new window, that was also installed very quickly with clean up afterwards. The installer wore a mask for all interactions and presence in my home as well. I will definitely use them again for an upcoming project with new window installation.

Tech call to say he was on his way 30 minutes after the 11-2 (3hr window). The company entered the wrong information on the invoice and acted if it was an ‘Act of God’ to email an invoice with the correct information. The work was quick but the customer service is terrible.

This is a terrible company. I ordered my glass 8-18-2019 and was told it would be expedited due to my tight time frame. I waited and waited for the glass to come In.. i had to call to see what was taking so long...THEY broke it and had to reorder. Lady told me they cant expedite the order and the person who told me that in the beginning didnt know what they were talking about..Cost me money on the sale of my house due to the window not being done In time for closing. Was told i would be worked with on the price for the inconvenience. When they finally called to collect final payment I was informed that the invoice said NOT to take money off of the bill. New Window came in on the 25th of September and was just installed today 10-8-2019.

We contacted the Glass Doctor of Memphis to repair our bedroom window after a tree branch came through it. They came to measure and inspect the window on Friday and came back to install new glass the following Wednesday. We have hectic schedules and even though we had a glitch, they were here as promised. Go with another company. Horrible customer service. I paid for a service on September 13th. I was told the glass would be delivered in one week. A week goes by, I give them a call because I had not heard anything. They say “Oh the glass arrived but one was broken.” That was fine. I asked why they did not notify me but I left it alone. Two weeks go by and I call again. “The glass will arrive tomorrow.” Tomorrow never came. One week goes by “The glass willBe here tomorrow”. The class never came. At this point it’s been 5 weeks and they just called to schedule the installation to be done today at 2:30pm.It is now 3:55pm and no one has showed up. At 3:05 I call and ask about the technician and they say “oh he is finishing another job and SHOULD be there shortly.” I tell the lady that’s unacceptable and I should have received a phone call. She assures me the man would call me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Go with another company. I haven’t even seen the results but this entire experience has been so frustrating that I would have easily paid another $100. We have gone 5 weeks with broken glass on our front door. Unacceptable.

I spent a lot of money to buy big mirrors for my studio. They put them in the wrong spot so now my students can not see themselves while working out. I asked if he could move it to the correct spot & he said not unless I wanted big holes in my wall. It would have been nice of them to ask me where I wanted them instead of assuming.

I had a very good experience with this company. Called for estimate to replace a large picture window in kitchen and they showed up on time and were polite. Easy to work with on arranging an installation time. Installers were nice and did a good job in less than an hour. Im sure not all installations will go that smoothly but at no time was anyone that I dealt with less than professional. Will definitely use again if needed.

I hired the Glass doctor to fix my double pane Window last month prior to selling. The window failed inspection and the Glass doctor was called back out. The representative came out and advised that the window was measured wrong and was too small. Since then , they have tried to patch it without replacing the window. Today, the presentative came out 1 1/2 hours late and couldnt fix the window. Took the window out at and Left to go get a part and never came back. Its now 245 and my house is still open because there is no window installed. It is inside the room on the floor. I was told he had a emergency, as if my job was not. The lady that answered the phone was very uncaring and unconcerned. She told me she didnt know what to tell me. I couldnt talk to the manager nor the owner. Very very poor business practices. If this is the way they treat customers, I feel sorry for the community they serve. Still no call back from anybody and this window cost in excess of $400.00. Would have given zero stars, but that is not one of the choices. The owner should know how his business is being run while he is supposedly out of town, per the person who answered the phone.
