I had to schedule maintenance for an airbag recall on my Ford Fusion. The service number pointed me to this Ford dealership for the repair. I took the vehicle in on a Monday and got it back the same day. Awesome. Except it wasnt. My rim and quarter panel sustained damage at some point during the repair. I literally just redid my wheels a week before this. Not cool. This isnt my primary vehicle so I didnt notice until now. Unfortunately, I didnt take any pictures before so I cannot prove anything, and since I probably have no recourse in this, no point in getting angry, Im just disappointed in myself for not snapping some before photos. Fair warning to folks - takes pics of everything right when you drop your vehicle off and inspect it completely when picking it up!

One vehicle had been purchased at Mathews, Ford and one had been leased.We have always been very pleased with the only salesman we have worked with for many years, Kevin Clements. He is friendly, polite, very knowledgeable and he does not use high pressured tactics to sell or lease a car, van, or truck.Every person we have had an interaction with at Mathews, Ford has been helpful, courteous, and concerned about our experience.The Service Department at Mathews, Ford has been excellent. The are very knowledgeable and you can be assured that they are working very hard to have your vehicle serviced professionally and in a timely manner.Our conversion van threw a big curve ball at them and gave the crew a difficult problem to solve. The problem was not of their doing but a result of converting the van to our specifications.The technicians and Service Manager went above and beyond the call of duty to fix the problem and to ensure that it was up to their high standards of excellence.We love the people at Mathews, Ford Marion, Inc.

To start, I had a great experience buying my 2014 Ford Explorer. Kevin C. was amazing, friendly, and helpful along with the finance department. My issue is 21 days after buying my vehicle, i get a check charging system message + battery light on the dash. I call Kevin to explain the problem and as always he was helpful and told me to bring it in at noon the next day. I brought the vehicle to the service department at noon and they took it in and directed me to the waiting room. I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours(well more like 2 hours and 56 minutes) and was given my keys back by Josh. He told me the alternator was not charging and they would call me before they closed so he could talk to sales and figure out pricing. I left unsatisfied wondering if i was going to breakdown on the way home or not. Now here I sit at 6:45pm and have not received a call. The service department closed at 5pm. My issue is this, i purchased the vehicle and a 6 year Powertrain Warranty( i dont believe that covers my issue) LESS THAN 21 DAYS AGO. I HAVENT EVEN MADE MY FIRST PAYMENT. Hell i havent even received the title in the mail to switch my tags over. Shouldnt the dealership take care of this issue with no charge? Where has common courtesy gone? I would love to make this a 5 star review and send everyone i know to buy a car here, but if this how they treat their customers then i cant suggest it. Hell i will delete this review and post what an amazing experience i had, but until then find another dealership that takes care of its customers.

Terrible experience! I bought a 2016 Cadillac Escalade from them. Car has been nothing but a headache with transmission issues. They say they have a 30 day warranty but won’t even return anyone’s calls when you leave multiple messages. Terrible way to do business after spending almost 50 thousand dollars there.

Found a car I liked for a good price on their web site. Asked for the price out the door with all taxes and fees. One call back shortly with a good price. They were straight up in their pricing, with no significant add-on from the advertised price, except for taxes and licensing. Helped identify relevant available discounts. Efficient service in paying. Met that evening at the dealership and quickly completed the transaction with all questions answered and smartphone setup for remote access completed in less than an hour including test drive. Really like the Lincoln and extremely helpful service. Happy new owner of a Lincoln MKZ. Also loved my 02 LS.

The service is exceptional. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The reason I gave 3 stars is because I don’t feel safe being at the dealership. We have an immunocompromised family member at home. No one at the dealership wears masks. In light of Marion’s numbers going up again, I will not be going back until the pandemic Is over.

I live in Columbus,Ohio and had been looking for a car for 2 weeks. Sure Columbus has many options, but when I stumbled across this particular vehicle at Mathews Ford, I knew I was sold. By far the best deal possible. So the hour drive to get there was definitely not a big deal.After arriving I knew I came to the right place, all the staff were very professional and welcoming. (Not your normal pushy sales guys) Zach my dealer was awesome! I spoke with him over the phone and when I got there my vehicle was parked in the front waiting on me. My wife and I have always had great service at Mathews Ford in Marion. This last service we placed our request on a smart phone instead of the computer. For whatever reason our appointment showed no service requested even though the Works was selected ....just a tire rotation and oil change. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We were treated with respect and kindness. Financing on a Saturday was easy thanks to the staff. We came to look at 1 vehicle we found online. They were the only ones who returned our call!I love my new to me expedition. The only thing I was upset about was that I was told the drivers seat was replaced due to the old one not any good. My heated seat does not work. Not sure if it got hooked up wrong or what. But the salesman was not at fault for that.I would gladly buy another car from them again!

I had a very good experience at Mathews Ford. There was no pressure to buy and everyone was honest. I was upfront with my intentions and they in turn were the same. It was my third stop of the day. I presented them my bottom line price and they eventually agreed. The post buying process was also non-pressure experience. I will definitely give them a shot again when I purchase in the future.

As of right now Im leaving a 3 went in because got a letter saying I was pre approved get there and they tell me Ill have to come back in a few days do to my credit being low and theyd have to jump through some hoops which is great... But why would you send me a letter saying I was Pre approved... And if I was pre approved why did I get denied or get told theyd have to work with a bank for a few days to see what they could do... 😞😞😞 Feel kinda like I may have wasted a drive over... They recently sent me a letter saying I was pre-approved to refinance my current loan OR that I could get a new car and they would pay off my current loan.Then when I called all they were intrested in doing was selling me a new car.They then said I was no longer aproved for refinancing even though I recived the letter four days ago.So bassically the lied to me...and ran my credit score for no reason. Me and my family have purchased a total of 6 cars from Mathews Ford, although my last purchase has me questioning the integrity of the dealership, I made the mistake of trusting the salesman, who had sold us all of our previous vehicles, that I would be getting a fair price on the vehicle I was purchasing, and ended up paying 5.000 over Kelly blue book for the car, and was not told the car had been in two previous accidents, also had to do a major repair on the front end (ball joints) and finding out today the air conditioning compressor is locked up, which they will not even look at without me coming off of $100, I just purchased the car in December, just very upset

We have had a reoccurring issue with the car pooling water and the heat/air blower not working. Josh has gone out of the way to get this car fixed. My husband met with Rob and he was great! He really did what he could to help to help him get into a car. He was so great that we took my MIL to get something from here. However, If youre not interested in wanting a new car the sales manager will not give you the time of day. My MIL had an appointment with Rob and the sales manager took over and wouldnt even look us in the eye, and barely talked to us. He was pretty rude to say the least since he wasnt getting the commission he wanted. He also told her she HAD to get a 2020 in order to trade her car in... I was interested in also purchasing a a car today because of Rob but after our encounter with the sales manager I will go elsewhere...he pretty much hijacked us from Rob.

I bought my Lincoln MKZ a year and a half ago from Mathews Kennedy. Yesterday, the battery died. When I called them, they dispatched the Lincoln Roadside service to me. They arrived within a half hour. Meanwhile Lincoln texted and called me periodically to check on my status. They made sure I was in a safe location, and it seemed important to them to make sure I knew exactly where the repairman was, on his route. Lincoln jumped my car and it drove fine yesterday. Today, it started slow, and I took it right into the service station, they provided me a ride home, to wait, and new battery, (under warranty) at no charge...I appreciate their service and would recommend them to anyone.

I had purchased a vehicle from them and two weeks later stopped in to look at a Honda Civic for my daughter. I test drove it, negotiated a price and let the sales manager I would be back the next day with my daughter. He never mentioned or suggested I should put a deposit on it. They sold it out form under me later that night. After leaving several messages for him I finally reached Nick (sales manager). Very poor attitude. He stated several times his job is to sell cars. Apparently taking care of customers isnt in his job description. I wont be going back.I left a message for Spencer Mathews the GM over a week ago and no return phone call. They apparently dont care about customer service.

I took my car in to get a bulb changed in my 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium. Apparently, you have to remove the bumper to change the headlight bulbs. The bulb that was out was the one the lights up when you remote start the car. So, I waited an hour, got charged a ridiculous amount and the bulb still doesnt work. 😡Update: I recently had to take car in for a recall notice and told them about the bulb issue and they made it right. 👍

My car was recently involved in an accident that did extensive damage ($11,000.00) at a most inconvenient time (at the same time as we were required to be out of state for family emergencies). The car was out of commision for several weeks beyond the rental coverage provided by my insurance. The insurance company was in great measure responsible for the delay but did not accept responsibility or provide additional coverage. That was not the case for the caring staff in the Matthews Auto Group body shop. I cannot adequately express my appreciation for their support and assistance during this time.Shortly after I got my car back one of the backseat safety belts quit functioning. I was told that the part to fix this required safety feature was over $400.00 and would involve several hours of labor. I called Lincoln Concierge Services who very politely told me too bad I would just have to suck it up and pay. I made several other inquiries but did not feel that anyone was listening - there had to be a more reasonable way to fix this.I decided to take it into Matthew Auto Group and talk to the staff in the auto body area. Guess what! In two minutes they had it fixed - at no cost to me. They took the time to listen to me then ACTUALLY LOOK at the problem. Because of their expertise and commitment to customer service, they identified a minor flaw and fixed it by removing an unnecessary part blocking access to the receiving end of my safety belt. I figure they saved me $500.00. They certainly deserve the special thanks I am trying to convey in this review.

I purchased a 2011 f150 truck my third vehicle from this dealership after less than a thousand miles driven the front wheel bearing whent out , a steering gear and sensor. I was not offered an extended warranty at purchase time and manger didnt want to cover the cost which was 1302 dollars to repair. I will not purchased another vehicle from here again. They say 30 days or 500 miles on used vehicles , thats about how long I had until problems started happening.
