I have been researching and hunting the internet for a reliable used Tacoma that is safe for my kids to drive for years to come. Tony at Heritage was extremely knowledgeable about the Tacoma trucks, He was very professional, a good listener (not a salesman) and a pleasure to deal with throughout the buying process. He truly wanted me to find a good truck for my kids. He was quick to point out many of the older Tacomas are plagued with poor frames that have been painted to present well to a potential buyer. Tony only buys older Tacomas with NEW FRAME or recently replaced FRAMES with the 15 year Toyota factory warranty. He went on to show me what he looks for in a Tacoma. The list was extensive and impressive. He warranties all of his vehicles b/c he wants his customers to come back and refer him more business. I will be back! My father owned a dealership, I have been in the industry for a while now, and I do not trust anyone until it is earned. Well my girlfriend and I had left our jobs a few months back where we both had company cars so we were on the hunt for something practical and reliable. After spending endless hours online and days visiting dealers we finally came across Antoine. We were going to share 1 vehicle until our new career changes came about aka didnt end up with a car payment and then end up with company cars again. Bought an older Accord. I willingly paid a slightly higher price than others on the market because it was clearly well serviced once Antoine got it. A few months later, we realized life isnt going to provide another company car at the moment so I started searching again. I really had 2 very specific models in mind but ended up with a nice low mileage Mercedes from Antoine, again. I gave up getting 1 of the 2 vehicles I wanted because I knew that, although slightly higher priced than some out there (prob beat up), he is a stand up guy. Long story short, I am very picky but compromised to go back to Heritage Auto.

My buddy had his car dropped off there to fix a minor fender bender there and he not only got horrible service but the work was shitty.... paint didnt match fender lines were way off and the door rubbed after the work was done...they didnt own up to there mistakes and said it would be a few weeks before they could take a look at it again 😣....be careful with these people!!!!! They suck!!!

Very good place to buy a used certified car

I purchased a car remotely, from Florida. His advertisement stated the car had run flats, but only the front tires were run flat (the rear tires were not.) Also, he stated directly to me in an email, that the tires were brand new. After receiving the car I checked the date code to find that the front tires were 8 years old, well beyond the age they are safe to use. After being told of this his response was that he was told by the previous owner that the tires were new. He is a car dealer, if he is going to represent a feature of a car he is selling, he is responsible to insure that the car has that feature. His advertisement also stated that it has a 12 disk changer, there is no 12 disk changer in the car. As someone purchasing a car, they make their decision to purchase and price based on the features he is told the car has. As is, doesnt mean it is what it is, regardless of what I told you it is. It means, here is the current state, no promises on what might happen once its driven off the lot. I dont think he can claim the tires were brand new when on the lot, but then aged 8 years in one week. DOT stamp states 2013. Also note the $600 referenced below for transport was part of the original negotiation for purchase price that we split transport, based on the car represented with brand new tires. That was not money offered to compensate for the 8 year old tires, any compensation toward that has been refused on his part.
