Syd was super helpful in assisting my fiancé and I find our perfect rings. He was a miracle worker. He was able to translate technical terms really clearly to my fiancé and I who arent super knowledgeable in this regard. I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted but was unable to clearly define it, as did my fiancé. Syd helped us to navigate what we were wanting while trying to help us stay in our price budget.

Decided to get my wife a new ring for our five anniversary so we decided on a ring they didnt have in the store but they had online. Placed the order and a couple days later they canceled my order because of inventory issues. How do you loose and expensive ring first off. Second off they tied up my money for five days. Kept telling me it was a bank issue and the bank was showing they had not processed the refund. When I called to talk to someone all she would do is say sorry and did absolutely nothing at all to help the problem or help me. Will never go back there or recommend anyone to go there.

Have warrenty on both our wedding rings and get them cleaned every 6 months... We have lost a few diamonds and they have replaced at no charge with the warrenty... People who work there have been wonderful help and always great to work with

My husband got me a necklace for my birthday from Zales that had a warranty on it. If anything broke I could get it fixed or replaced once free of charge. The chain broke so I had it sent in and fixed so then there was a spot that looked chunky from where it was soldered back together. Very soon after getting it back it broke again (Im not hard on my jewelry so theres no reason that I should have been breaking as much as it was). I took it back in and had the chain replaced this time with a thicker chain so maybe it wouldnt break as easily. Within two months it broke again and they wouldnt do anything to fix it. I ended up getting a chain from Piercing Pagoda for cheaper and with far better quality as it has now lasted me about 4 years. My wedding and engagement rings were also purchased at this location. Their customer service was great while purchasing the rings, but during any other interaction its not that great. Their free ring cleaning is only a 30 second (if that) quick brush over and my rings arent even cleaner after theyve been cleaned by them. Ive had better luck cleaning them myself, though I take them in for a cleaning every time Im in the area.

Worse customer service ever....their customer service will not help you with anything over the phone we have been valued customers for years never had single late payment went out of town for big family emergency came back made full payment and nobody wanted to help with the interest being charged while we were gone. They are all trained like dogs to say the same thing over the phone even though I know they waved fees for other people before, but they go by fair federal regulations. They discriminate against people and are not willing to satisfy their good customers. I will never make another purchase with Zales and I will make sure to spread the word everywhere I go.

I took my wedding ring in from 20+ years ago for its semi-annual check-up. I was told it needed a prong replaced. So I told them to fix it. They suggested I buy the lifetime warranty for it when I pick it up so I wont have to pay for repairs in the future. So I go back when its supposed to be done and they said they found another problem and it would take longer and cost more money. So again for the second time they suggest the lifetime warranty purchase. So today I go to pick up the ring and I tell them I want to go ahead and purchase the lifetime warranty for it. They acted like they had no clue what I was talking about. After them trying to look it up in the system - which its not in there since its been so long - and asking me if I had my paperwork - which i did not, I dont make it a habit to carry my diamond certificate with me all the time - and no one mentioned i would need the certificate to get the warranty either time it was mentioned - 20 minutes have gone by now. I told them to just forget it and give me my ring. So after 2 sales pitches to purchase a warranty for future repairs I was not able to get one! I will never go there again!! I will take my rings elsewhere for inspections and repairs if needed.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring online due to it not being available in the store. He had it shipped to the Lincoln location because that is the closest store to us. When he went to pick it up, he was treated like a complete inconvenience. He purchased the protection plan before he left the store with my ring. Two very short weeks after he gave it to me, I noticed one of the prongs was loose and my stone was moving. I took it in to our local jeweler and another jeweler in a neighboring town and both of them told me that the ring was set wrong and that my stone was too large for a 4 prong setting. Zales has a similar ring with a slightly smaller stone that is set correctly in a 6 prong setting. I drove the hour back to this location only to have the ladies tell me that the reason that it was loose was because I wore it while I sleep and that it would take 3 weeks to send it in to be fixed. Zales has had my ring for 2 weeks now and according to their repair tracking online, it hasnt even arrived at the jeweler to be fixed. Im extremely disappointed in Zales as a whole! Not only was the ring set wrong to begin with, I was blamed by the staff at this store for it being my fault for wearing it to bed. Zales needs to figure something else out for their repair process! I dont know any woman that wants to be without the most important piece of jewelry she will ever wear for 3 weeks! We will never be purchasing another piece of jewelry from Zales ever again and definitely staying away from the staff at this location!

Very friendly staff. Never got frustrated as I am a difficult person when it comes to looking at several jewelry items. Very patient too. Zales has a very good credit option with 18 months of zero interest.

The staff here treat our family with care and respect. We have had some laughs and some life talks. I’m not sure what other people are experiencing here but I haven’t had a poor experince here once. I visit most times when I am at the mall and intend to continue to do so.It is okay to swing by and create a good raport with people. That is how you find out who they truly are.

This is the worst Zales location I’ve ever had the misfortune to visit. Never have I ever had good customer service. Tried stopping by to get my ring worked on and 30 min after their newly listed “open” time and the grates were still shut and locked. This store needs to be shut down.

Every time we have been in the Gateway mall Zales we have had issues. 6 years ago we purchased our wedding rings. Since then we have purchased a couple of other items. We have alway ls taken everything in in April and September to be inspected. Now we are being told we can no longer do that but have to bring them in in the month they were purchased. Meaning we would have to go in 8 different times a year. Seems to me if you can see they are being inspected by your employees twice a year at the same time what difference does it make when it is. Just another way for them to get out of honoring the warranty. Not to mention the staff at this location is always rude.

Similar to others. Ive had the ring for 5 years and it has had to go in 3 times for repair. Prongs that come loose. The second time 2 of the three diamonds werent seated properly and there was an elongated prong that was like a fish hook. Now I waited and waited for a call or email. I just called and was told Oh, yea, we have it. No one called? Huh.Scares me.

63 days after placing my $2300 wedding band on my hand, a diamond falls out. Was told it will be 4-6 weeks before I get my ring back...I dont live in town. I was told I would be charged a a shipping charge to send to my home. Zales brags about great quality, I have a different opinion! Salesman said gold was weak and couldnt hold the diamond! That is total crap! Maybe more like company is selling subpar materials, trying to save money! Very dissatisfied with not getting a replacement. I have a 60 day money back guarantee if not satisfied.......UPDATE: the day after I posted review, management called and gave me a NEW ring for a one-time replacement. Thank you very much!

I have never felt so pressured to buy something in my life. It was ridiculous to the point to where they started to come off rude when I repeatedly told them I am just looking today and will be back if I made that decision. The staff kept passing me off to others. I think 4 different staff talked to me in my 15 minutes in the store. I will never go back there again. They are worse than used car salesmen.

Ordered a Mothers Day gift by the cut off day of May 4th and were told it WOULD be in by Mothers Day (Sunday). It didnt come in until Wednesday and when my husband complained about it they blamed it on UPS. Disappointed and will be the last Zales purchase we make.

I had an awful experience at Zales gateway mall. I would rate the store negative if I was able to.I came there to pick up an online order, they told me the order was not there yet. A week later, I came back. After several minutes looking, the lady told me that they already returned my order back to ecommerce because It has been there for so long. I asked if she would double check on their system because I was there a week ago and it hadnt been arrived yet. Another 15 minutes on her computer, she asked me:Are you sure that you didnt pick it up already? Your face looks familiar to me. That was very offensive what she was trying to say. I said no. After another 20 minutes, she found my order at the same place that she couldnt find it earlier.My order was right there, I Couldnt image how she came up with the idea my order had been returned to ecommerce and then offended me saying that I was trying to pick up one order twice.I will never come back to that place!

It was my favorite jewelry store, until I had to send a chain to fix and another one that was not mine, thinner and with a horrible fabric, was sent to me. Not even the saleswomen speak any help.
