The best new restaurant experience! Took a family of 5 and had a wonderful time. The food was AMAZING! We tried just about everything on the menu.. The staff was even better! Very friendly place with a great atmosphere. Support local, also remember to be courteous, they are very busy for a real good reason. Dont pass this place by, you will not be disappointed.

Walked down the street from work to get some Muchachos today! Ordered online, got there a little early and it was ready! Great food, friendly staff and awesome atmosphere inside. The Hatch Mac Burrito was fantastic! Get it with Brisket! The street tacos are awesome too! Today they were $1 a piece. You cannot find any tacos this good for this cheap unless you most likely go to another state. These were awesome and right down the street from work! Awesome food, awesome atmosphere! Good work Muchachos, glad you are here in Lincoln! Cant wait for more!!!!

Muchachos catered our sons graduation party and it was awesome! The taco truck was a hit for everyone, even the grandparents! Nick was responsive to all of my questions and ensured that we had a successful graduation party. I would highly recommend Muchachos to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful time!

It’s hard to put into words how much of a local treasure Muchachos is. The food is always 10/10, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the environment inside is an enjoyable place to eat a meal with friends. Also, they low-key have the best cup of coffee in Lincoln. They have some fancy coffee maker that they use and the coffee is delicious. This place is beloved by the neighborhood and the city for good reason.

5 stars all the way. Great food. Great Atmosphere. Great everything. We dont get down to the shop as much as wed like, but anytime we do its some of the best food AND best customer service in Lincoln.

What a special way to celebrate my brother’s birthday!! Not only was the staff and service friendly, welcoming but humorous as well! The food was delicious and well priced for the portions! The queso was well-made and the establishment bright and colorful! The artwork was particularly entertaining! I ordered a “MuchaCHA” bowl ;) and they custom built it with new ghost pepper chips! I had requested “more heat” and they obliged! A fun and tasty hidden gem you’ll be heading back to again!

Tried the cinnamon toast cereal latte and the lavender matcha! I love lavender drinks and they kill it with this one. Highly suggest any of their coffees! Also love the idea of a duo cup which is reusable, so if you love coffee like me and wanna try a bunch of different ones make sure to bring the duo cup back for a discount to try more!

Great food! The nachos with the works is fabulous and a whole lot of food. Weve had them with the smoked brisket and smoked chicken and its hard to pick a favorite! Decent beer selection also for a small little place.

We went with a food truck for our wedding and knew we had to go with Muchachos after we tried it. It was amazing and delicious! The food was delicious! I ordered the nachos with pork. They were honestly the best nachos Ive ever eaten. Hubby had a brisket burrito, also very good! I would also recommend thw ginger peach iced tea 👌 cant wait to go back again!

Was here a couple weekends ago and the food was good! Only have 1 suggestion, maybe tell your hostess to tell people that someone at the back of the room will be screaming your name when your food is ready. Rather than just getting your name off your credit card. I heard my name but it was one of those situations where I was like did that guy just say my name then he screamed it again. About 10 minutes later he yelled another name and the girl at the next table said what, how did he know my name we did mention to the hostess it was our first time also. Otherwise we enjoyed it.

Ive been a fan muchachos for years, the food truck was my favorite in Lincoln. However, this new store is absolutely amazing. The aesthetic was creative and the environment had a great chill vibe. Custom booths were sturdy and comfortable.I had the 2 meat plate Brisket and Chicken, with rancho beans and hatch mac. It was their take of a traditional BBQ joint meat plate and it was great. Ill be going back again next week to try a few more menu items and to upload a video for Fat Guy Certified.I ended my meal with an iced caramel macchiato that was absolutely divine.The hospitality was stellar, as I was leaving the employee was working with in my opinion a rather complicated customer and they handled it marvelously.Strongly recommend!

To say Muchachos met expectations would be a disservice and an absolute understatement. Before going, I read a few reviews and looked at some of the photos and they all looked amazing. Then I ordered the Hatch Mac Burrito and was blown away. First of all, come hungry or prepared to lug two pounds of burrito home with you as leftovers (and you will definitely want to take any leftovers you have!). The portions here are INSANE! The burrito I received was the size of a whole freaking loaf of bread. In it, my burrito had deliciously smoked brisket and house made Mac & Cheese with hatch green chilies. I ordered mine with The Works, which included two types of salsas and a slaw. Neither salsa added any noticeable heat (probably because the vast quantity of food it was competing against, including the sweetness of the slaw), but absolutely provided some necessary moisture. It was incredible.We also ordered pork queso nachos, which were entirely unnecessary given the size of the burritos but delicious nonetheless. The slaw made these a messy affair, but you dont come here to practice fine dining etiquette. Most of these were taken home as leftovers (probably to be made into a freaking awesome chilaquiles if I am ever not full again.)The staff was super friendly and the place had fun decorations. In the small kitchen, I found just one person pumping out an insane amount of delicious food in a timely manner. She rocked it. Go here, folks.

I mean, it’s like a real reason to get out of bed in the morning.This place is award winning. It is buzz worthy. It is an underground cult favorite hitting the mainstream.If you want to change your world, get to Muchachos. If you want to make the world a better place, tell others about Muchachos.

Flipped a coin for lunch and Muchachos won. Glad it did! The staff was very friendly (we called twice beforehand with questions about their menu). My friend loved her gluten free lunch and I got the 3 meat platter. Good portion of meat and the sides were good, as well...my son loved the leftovers. We didn’t realize they have breakfast (coffee-really good) and adult beverages. I don’t eat out much but will definitely put Muchachos on my, “go to”, list. I can’t wait to try their breakfast menu.

Not worth the hype I thought I was going to get. When we received our food it was cold. The Hatch Mac had absolutely no cheese on it. The meat seemed to be unseasoned. I was super excited to try muchachos and was greatly disappointed when we received our food. I thought I was going to get yummy warm gooey Mac n cheese with juicy good meat on top, not at all what we got.

Nachos were amazing. Owner was awesome. Super friendly. Great atmosphere. I could drink the hatch cheese sauce for dinner. Will definitely be back. Great work.

Honestly its a bit bland. I had the pipeline burrito. It really needs some salsa or veggies to highlight the meat. Its not bad its just not nearly as good as it could be. For 15 bucks this burrito should knock my socks off. It just didnt, not even close. I hate to leave a review like this for a local business that does alot of things the right way but it is true. Hopefully they take this feedback and improve on some things. I will for sure be back in down the road to give it another chance, as is only fair. I really want to like this place.

Since they won Munch Madness this year, we decided to try Muchachos for the first time last Friday. I ordered online at 6:05. The site told me it would be ready for pick-up at 6:35. I arrived at the restaurant on time. Was not greeted by anybody. I finally had to ask someone who I would talk to regarding my order. She went back to check on it and said it would be 15 minutes. I went back to my vehicle and came back in again. I had to wait more and finally got my order just before 7:00. Very disappointing. When we got the food home, chicken tacos were good, but the Brisket Hatch Mac and Pork/Brisket meat plate were blah. Sad to say, but weve had much better elsewhere.

You all need to get to Muchachos! Ill admit I was skeptical of a New Mexican restaurant that did not have flat enchiladas with an egg on top...however their green chille was on point and their brisket is AMAZING! Also, the servers were super nice. So glad we went.

First time Muchachos patron and in the middle of eating I felt I needed to tell others how GREAT this place is! Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Online ordering is slick. AND one of the only restaurants down here in the business district. Looking forward to going back!

I wanted to get out of my office for lunch today, so I took a quick walk over to Muchachos and ordered the chicken queso nachos with The Works salsa options to-go. My food was ready in under 5 minutes, despite having a pretty full restaurant, which was impressive. I was really impressed that they packaged the queso and all of the salsa options seperately so that the chips didnt get soggy! The food was really tasty and flavorful and the portions were big enough that I couldnt finish everything. I cant wait to go back and try some hatch mac next!

Great small business atmosphere! The drink menu is super unique and prices are good. The Taco Tuesday Tacos are simple. What is listed on their sign is what you get, so no lettuce or cheese on them. They are also a little overly juicy but you can get forks. They have different drink sizes on their tap beer and samples available. Highly recommend their brisket and pork!

I got the meat plate with pork and sides of hatch Mac and charro beans.Hatch Mac doesnt have hatch Chile in it.noodles were al dente to a chewy point. Charro beans are bland. Theyre fresh but only taste of beans. Just beans.Pork is good but it just roast pork. Nothing special about anything I had.If youre looking for decent food thats mostly bland and nothing special, order the pork meat plate.Perhaps their tacos are better.For a place that says its New Mexico in style, I think they must have left it at the front door.Think bbq with tortillas and salsa. Nothing New Mexican here.

Tacos are great but the hatch mac is really the bomb. The “Christmas Tree” salsa ( red and green combo) is the way to go to spice things up a bit. Service is friendly and quick. Atmosphere is unique. Place is spotless. Also visited for breakfast and took the recommendation from the staff and enjoyed a latte and breakfast taco. Highly recommend!

Our Screen Ink staff stopped by Muchachos for the soft opening. We ordered the Nachos, Hatch Mac, and some soft tacos. Everything was fantastic! All the food items had well balanced smokey flavors that distinguish themselves uniquely as the Muchachos style. The service was kind, helpful, and quick. We will definitely re-visit this location as well as keep our eyes open for the truck. Bravo Muchachos!

This is a fantastic Lincoln establishment. Great people, excellent vibes, amazing smoked meats are found at Muchachos. Some places leave you with that good feeling of, Damn, Im glad I ate there. This is one of them.

I’m so stoked for Nick & the crew! After watching his food truck dream come to fruition over the years, and now the brick & mortar restaurant, to say Nick is an inspiration is an understatement. And then there’s the food! Man... SO SO good! I have a lot of lunch meetings, Muchachos is my newest “hot spot”; I love introducing my friends to the goodness, and it’s the perfect size for a small group chat.

Awesome tacos!!!! I had the 3 meat plate it was amazing! All the meats are cooked perfectly and are very flavorful! The salsas are so unique and I couldn’t get enough. I lived in New Mexico for a year and it really reminded me of that area. I can’t wait to go back! Oh and the prices are pretty cheap for the portions.

Muchachos is a very original place with food that you cant find anywhere else. If you like trying new things I highly suggest giving this place a shot.

The breakfast brisket tacos are AMAZING!!! So good with the red salsa and avocado crema. My mocha was on point. Not so hot that I couldnt drink it right away, and flavor was good. Coffee prices are good. Taco prices are higher but you are truly buying some prime stuff. Id eat there every day if I could. Cant wait to go back!

Service great, if not a bit rude, but I dont factor that into anything. Im no food critic. LolGreat food, the default has to be the brisket in a burrito, which like everything comes with the works, a great tasting mix of different home salsas and guac/SC . Loved it. A lunch and more.

Love Muchachos! You can tell everyone cares about what they’re doing. How? You can taste it. The meats are always so tender and smokey, and the sauce options provide the perfect accent to the whole thing.More than a thoughtfully designed interior with cool vibes, the inside decor is a clear love letter to Lincoln, community and family. Do yourself a favor and stop in to experience it all for yourself. Can’t recommend it enough.

The Muchachos gang has achieved a very fun vibe. We tried the Hatch Mac with Brisket and the Nachos with Chicken for togo/takeaway. Food was good, I like their take on the nacho sauce. The green salsa (more spicy) and red salsa were very tasty. We also ordered a drip coffee and a cappucino which we were happy with.
