This is my go to place for my cars repairs both for their quality and customer service. The first time I went to Gunter was after getting a quote from another dealer who increased their prices on me by $400. I decided to get a quote from Gunter. They diagnosed the actual problem which saved me a ton of money. Not only do they know their stuff their customer service is top notch.

I had a choice to have my car towed to another location but once I called Gunter and received such great customer service I decided to tow it there....They repaired the car and I was able to drive away the same evening!! I would highly recommend this company!!

Wow I really loved my experience here and now only want to bring my car to this shop. Ive been meaning to write this review for over a month however adulting has been real so im just getting the opportunity. Its very rare that I feel this happy about car shops bc who wants to take their car in for anything right? But this honestly was an extremely positive experience for me and I will definitely return! The woman Michelle who answered the phones and took my payment was actually very knowledgeable about cars. She is also charming, professional and really has a heart of gold. Electrical system warning light came on so I took it in. They sent me a text letting me know the issue was a faulty alternator as well as informing me of the specs concerning my rear breaks and one of my wheel hubs. They let me know the price for the alternator parts and labor and what the other services diagnosed would cost. They never pushed or pressured me to make all of the repairs on this visit.

Gunter Automotavie is “ TOP NOTCH” I took my truck in to have it looked at due to AC issues.Gunter team followed up and communicated with me the issues with AC how long it would take and the total cost of the repair . They had my truck fixed in a short amount of time and OH YEAH , they called me to tell me that my truck was done and the repairs were going to be less then what originally quoted. I originally took my car to Chevy, and they quoted me $2200 to replace a heater cord I believe it was called in my car, but not only did Gunter give me a better price at around 1500/1400, they also did another diagnostics and found out that it was more likely something else (they said it could have easily been misdiagnosed). Needless to say I spent a little over $500 to get my car fixed. Michelle was wonderful, her customer service was outSTANDING! I haven’t had any issues with my car since receiving my car back. Thank you all again, I really appreciate it!

Michelle, Wayne and the crew at Gunter Automotive did a fantastic job on my Shelby Mustang.Another company installed ring and pinion gears a few years ago. Now they started to whine and the other company could not fix them. Gunter fixed them better than the first time. In addition, they diagnosed and fixed a noise that the other company could not find. Finally, they recognized and fixed a brake problem I was not aware of. They even provided some documentation on what was wrong with the brakes. They checked with me along the way and charged me a fair price and finished a big job quickly.I highly recommend this shop.

Gunter Automotive do a great job! They are honest with great service and communication. My husbands work truck was recently struck by lightning and it fried the whole computer system. They had him back on the road in no time! Staff is wonderful!

Stumbled upon these people by accident, and now I trust them to do my maintenance! Why, may you ask? Well, for me, there has to be trust. I have had too many mechanics fix something, and then tell me I need this and this! These guys shoot straight! They let you know what you need, and they fix it! They fix it and get it right the first time! If additional repairs are needed, then, the give you options and a good explanation of what’s needed and concise estimates of the cost. Michelle has a over decade of experience, and knows precisely what’s happening, and explains everything wonderfully. You are in good hands with these guys! A couple things to note. This is the actual page, as something happened with the old page on Google! Not the Lyle Rd. Location, that’s someone else. Second these guys work very quickly and proficiently. It’s nice to not have your car tied up for days. Give them a try! I’m glad I did!

We have taken our cars there for quite a while. As a woman I have found it hard in the past to find an honest mechanic. Have had the same car quoted at separate shops with two different issues at two very different prices to thenGunters and have it be a five minute job and cost next to nothing. Great independent shop, staff have the tools needed to perform work on todays complex vehicle systems. Thanks to Chip and Kevin for a great job on my car.. :) :). The quality of work is better than a dealership because you dont have to wonder what 16 year old high school student to driving your car from the front of the dealership to the back and parking it. Gunter Automotive was highly recommended to me by a co worker who happens to be our fleet mechanic. I have used Gunter Automotive twice since his recommendation and have no intention of ever bringing my vehicle anywhere else for repairs. Took my car in with a problem turning my key(s)in the ignition. The problem was found and a new ignition switch was ordered, delivered and installed in only an hour and a half!!! As I waited I talked to a gentleman who has been bringing his car here for many years and would not take it anywhere else.
