Chad is THE MAN. Super friendly and welcoming, down-to-earth local, and man does he know his stuff!! He gave me the best setup I’ve ever had on one of my guitars and quickly fixed an amp issue that had been besting me for a long time. Took the time to explain what he did, what he found, and how to avoid similar issues in the future. I learned a lot, and after seeing some of the other fantastic work in his shop I’ll be bringing him some more complex guitar repair work next. On top of that, he doesn’t charge an arm and a leg and he goes above and beyond with his customer service—truly seems to have a passion for his work. I brought in my old 1957 Martin acoustic guitar for a little bit of restoration. Chad did a great job, and the Martin plays and sounds better than ever. I also brought in my Squier Strat for a basic setup, since the action seemed a little high. Thats playing great now too. I highly recommend THC Guitars. Chad is very responsive to emails, calls, texts and is generally a good guy to talk to about instruments, music, etc.

Chad is the man! I brought him a Stratocaster that I couldn’t get right, and he diagnosed a major flaw in the neck. It was basically unfixable and he recommended I get a new neck. - Dealing with fender was disappointing to say the least, but I did buy a new neck from their website. - He filed the new nut, organized the mess of electronics under the pick guard.. and did a full setup. It plays great! The price was more than fair- and all in all it was a great experience. 👍

I had purchased a Jackson Kelly ( jeff loomis) model at a local shop. The pickups were muddy and very shotty for a guitar of this caliber and the shop teck fell very short with the set up. $1500 instrument that played and sounded worse than a Squier back in the day. Found THC Guitars on the internet and reached out immediately. Met with Chad a couple of hours later and 3 days later i had a brand new Seymour Duncan SH-4JB installed in the bridge and killed the neck pickup all together. Later on this month im having him throw a SH2 Duncan jazz pickup in the neck . I was thoroughly pleased at the intonation and install , the kelly plays like my USA Soloist , its amazing. I would like to highly recommend Chad, not only he does mobile (he picked up and dropped off my guitar) which i find super convenient, but also his prices are more than reasonable, he worked on my Ibanez Jem , I requested super low action and he delivered perfectly , with no buzzing and my Floyd rose at full range, if you have a guitar with Floyd rose system Chad is your guy(he also worked on my Ibanez Paul gilbert signature with the same outstanding results) overall I was more than happy with Chads services.
