Next door, there was a another auto repair company called Bumper Medic. I explained to them my situation that I absolutely have to have it done by the following day. Apparently, they were fully booked so on my way out, the owner of HiStar was walking in. He realized we needed the help, so we explained our situation and without hesitation, he told us to wait as he made his phone calls. Next thing you know, he said he can get it done by tomorrow brand new, quote and everything! Signed the papers and picked it up the following day! Thank you very much! Overall I had a great experience with Hi Star Auto and would definitely recommend this shop for anyone in the area. The front office staff was super friendly and kept me informed the entire time that my vehicle was there. My lady done blown up her F150. I done told her NOT to drive that thing like a Ferrari.Anyway, so she was in the middle of trying to blow the engine sky high and wouldn’t ya know the engine started actin funny. So I called Vigen at Hi Star Auto Center and asked if he could get this thing fixed up by god he had F150 runnin something brand spankin new the day after I dropped it off. Some other guy said engine was done. I knew I should’ve just waited for Vigen to check it out. They was booked a week out, got me in within 3 days of getting scheduled and took care of it within 24 hours. Amazing great service.Highly recommend this shop. They are family business that treats their customers like family. What more can you ask for??

VERY helpful all around! I came in to have an electrical installation for my headlamps looked at, but the process was so simple that they helped direct me to a small part at OReillys which would help me solve the issue instead of charging me $100 for a 5 min. job.Ill definitely be looking to go back here whenever I need any work done on my car as having that trust and care with your car mechanic is crucial. Came here twice after my family have been customers for years. Twice because the first time they rushed the job and come to find out the same job was done the second time. Its been 1 year since I have gotten my front bumper re touched up and Ive driven less than 6,000 miles in that time... my whole front bumper looks horrific. Paint chips everywhere, leaving the white paint underneath exposed, spider cracks everywhere also.. this is a black car so very easy to tell.. they did not do their prep work and just painted over and over again. Very disappointed... pictures below

They did a great my vehicle caught fire they made sure everything was checked fixed and running well. I have a Jeep Compass that they did body work on before and did a great job then that is why I went back this time. Anyone with a jeep they do great work. They also finished the job quickly. Kimberly in office is awesome and keeps you apprised of process all the way along.

I have used HiStar for other car maintenance requirements. Also, had my Honda Pilot painted and repaired by them. Service has always been great and the quality of work has always been that I have not had to return for any related problem. They have always treated myself and anyone I have referred to them with great care and quality work.

Vigen is customer focused- he’s great! Not only did he do everything with my car properly but he got it done efficiently and in a timely manner. The other staff are all friendly and helpful as well. They stay on top of communication and keep you updated. 10/10 recommend!

Where do I start! Had to get a new headliner in my new car as it got several punctures . Called for an appointment for an estimate and Kim answered the phone . She was super polite and highly efficient. Scheduled the appointment for the next morning.When I arrived I was impressed by the size of this operation. I met Vegan, who was very professional and he beat the price of the dealer!Scheduled the repair and it was done on time and done right! These guys are awesome! They do everything! I am sold ! As a small business owner myself I know what goes into a successful business!These folks are rock stars.

I took my care here through Southwest auto body to get an alignment for my car. Mechanic noticed my tires were worn out and showed me, where I was able to see the mental of the inside tire. He advised me to get new tires before I got this alignment, which I appreciate greatly. I was not charged anything, but will definitely return for this service and more.

Visited Hi Star Auto Center to get an estimate a few months ago to get a company vehicle body work and paint repairs, out of three auto body repair shops Hi Star was by far the least expensive. I decided to have my eight year old Scion to be repainted due the poor original paint fading , so I returned to Hi Star and Romiro gave me an estimate for the work. I was very happy with the price given and had Hi Star do the work. I picked up the car a week later and was very happy with the quality of the work done the paint was perfectly matched and looked fantastic. I am bringing in another car to have paint and body work done because of the great work they performed on my Scion. I would highly recommend Hi Star for the services they offer.

My car looks great! Vigen was professional and he communicated with me every step of the way. He updated me with pictures and explained the process thoroughly. The drop off was easy and the car was ready on time. Vigen even threw in a couple of extras at no charge. It definitely felt like a family owned and operated business. Amazing customer service. They treat you as if you are family. Quick turn around time, my car had a lot of front end damage and it took about a week and half to get everything fixed. My car looks better than when I bought it! All that was left is to put some pinstripes back on my door they will work with my time to put the last details back to my car. They took no time with getting back to me with updates as thing can change quick when dealing with insurance. Will always refer to Hi Star for any car needs.

Initially came in for a quote. Was very impressed with the individual I spoke to because he actually took the time to review the quote with me. I noticed in the quote that they wanted to replace the bumper. This was interesting to me because I had received numerous other quotes from other auto body shops and most stated the bumper did not need to be replaced. Guy I initially spoke to told me to call him if I had any questions so I called him. He told me to send him pics of the other quotes so I did. Then not a word. He stopped responding to my texts/calls. Definitely a red flag when they can’t defend their quote once it’s questioned. I did not choose this company.. chose Exclusive Customs, a shop located right behind them. Exclusive Customs quoted me $1500 less and did NOT replace my bumper. They did a great job and one month later no problems with my car.

09/22/21Issue was very simple and I specified it for you: test and replace all relevant fuses after installation of alternator to make sure car audio works. You said you did, but you didnt. Had to pay someone else and spend time to figure it out which caused frustration. Simple as that!Clearly instead of trying to acknowledge the problem, you replied some jibberish, which cause even more regret.It seems like this place has gone downhill since Abel left!***We had been customers since 2007 and always serviced our both cars at Hi Star. Recently our Acura RDX had a short in electrical system and Hi Star replaced alternator. Since that we had no volume in sound system and asked them again to test relevant fuses. We have been told that fuses had been working normally so we thought it might be something more serious. Had to take car to dealership for testing to find out about blown radio fuse with all diagnostics costs (Pic attached). Hope this review will help the owner to take necessary action to improve experience!

I wrecked my car in Nebraska and was on my way to Las Vegas. For the time being, we used zip ties, glue, and tape as I had to be in Vegas by Wednesday morning. After I finally got here, I decided I needed to actually get my car fixed as having the car being held together with tape, glue and zip ties isn’t very safe 😅 I brought my car into HiStar hoping they could get my car to look somewhat normal! I am totally BLOWN AWAY!!! They do amazing work, doesn’t even look like ANYTHING has happened! I highly recommend you go to them for all your auto needs!! My wife totaled her car and due to the age of the vehicle, the insurance company uses a formula whereby if the repair cost is 60% of the cost of the value of the vehicle, they have to total it by law. Who knew? The damage was completely fixable and I had the vehicle towed here. Mike? - (Im sorry, I forget the gentlemans name) gave me a quote for the repair. He did discount the work estimate and it was a great deal! I must emphasize this. Eventually, I decided not to go ahead with the repair and get another vehicle. He was super nice. Looking back on this, I wish I would have had them do the repair. My mistake.

I got in a small car accident (wasnt my fault) and commissioned HiStar to put my car back together. I took my car in to them at the beginning of the quarantine which presented additional challenges for all involved. Luckily though, HiStar, and Vigen specifically, really took care of me and went out of their way to be extra accommodating. Ive lived in Vegas all my life and I will 100% be bringing my cars to HiStar for any mechanical issues I may have in the future. They are super affordable and everyone who has a problem whether it be mechanical or cosmetic Hi Star can take care of it. They will do a simple oil change to a major reconstruction. They will even give a free estimate. They are the best!

This the best body shop in Las Vegas. I will tell my friends and family to come here only. He helped me with my insurance claim and made a very difficult process super easy and with no stress. Vigen helped me through the whole process and made everything simple and fought the insurance company to get my car original parts and everything paid for. The contracted shop The insurance company recommended that I took it too did not care that the insurance wasn’t paying for parts that where damaged in the accident and I took it out of the shop and took it to hi star auto center and vigen got the insurance company to pay for everything and made my car look like new.The contracted shops the insurance company recommends (Gerber) is the worst !!! This place is honest and reliable. I am from San Jose Ca our family suburban over heated in Baker on the way to LV. Once I got to LV, I needed a mechanic. I recommend this place, ramiro assisted me, fully explained there process for estimate. The job was finished same day. Then once completed showed me and my wife the used parts and looked over the engine with us to help us understand what was replaced. I had to get both my front and back bumpers replaced along with the hood and grill due to a car accident. Was very happy and everything looked brand new! Even cleaned up my car a bit which I very much appreciated. The whole staff is nice up to the front desk girl down to the guys giving estimates and doing repairs. Handled the insurance company when they realized more damages needed to be repaired very grateful they made this process as easy as possible! Thank you again!

Ive brought my cars to Hi Star on multiple occasions and always had been treated like a king! Always excellent quality restoration, quick and precise wheel alignments and if they feel that you have better options, they will surely let you know. Customers BEWARE This shop is a SCAM and will RIP You OFF I took my car in for an estimate and Mesrop The owner held the car never did an estimate and forged my signature on documents and tried to get the money from the insurance company. When I went to the shop to get my car he took the air out of the tires refused to give me my keys than tried to charge me a over a thousand dollars for storage???? I didn’t take my car to a storage facility I took it in for an estimate I never got!I sued him in court and Won!! I hope this helps all those considering to get your Car worked on or get an estimate. I would Hate what happened to me happen to you. So I am posting this acknowledgment that this business is very shady dishonest and I highly DONT recommend this auto center. I took my car and had some roughness on the paint. Gary suggested to wet sand it and buff it instead of painting. He was right right about it and it turned out pretty damn good! I would recommend this body shop!!!

If I could give no stars I would. They lied to me saying my motor was shot. Didnt say specifically what and that we didnt have oil in our car. Towed it to another shop and guess what. The car started and there was oil in it. We originally had our car sent here for an exhaust leak after they had put a motor in incorrectly two years ago. NEVER AGAIN. They will rip you off.

They are unprofessional they tell you something is wrong with your car when there’s nothing wrong with your car and it something else so they can get more money out of you this is a family owned business and they were very unprofessionalThey charge way too much they charged 1000 something for just labor and they just had to change the blower motor all they had to do was open our dash and change the blower motor I expected to pay 300 400 maybe five but not 1300 and that’s what they were charging and most of that money is for thorough labor work and even the mechanic does not know what to do so they’re charging for mechanic I would not recommend anyone going here I will not recommend my friends or family to go here this is unacceptable

HiStar and their staff have serviced two cars for me, my brothers and my Tahoe. I had some paint pealing on the door trim fixed. I was impressed on how they made suggestions that would allow me to still be able to use the car while the repairs were done. Theyve always been friendly, flexible in squeezing me in and very considerate regarding turn-around times. Their staff is welcoming and like family. I cant wait until their 2nd location is opened in Las Vegas.

Worst shop in town. Stay away. Id give them zero stars if possible.They had my vehicle for over 4 months and my vehicle was broken into while in their procession and had over $5000 worth of tools and property stolen that was never covered or reimbursed.Work was subpar and they use single stage paint which is cheap, old technology and left a soft and pealing result on my vehicle, not even industry standard.They dont even have a paint booth, they just close a garage door and start spraying.Bad communications, the owners, (a father and son) even became violent and threatening when I complained about the delays and again when I picked up my vehicle 4 months finally later after they received it from Allstate.Worst experience in Las Vegas for automotive repair that Ive ever had and heard of. Much better options than here in Las Vegas. Stay away!
