Not sure who the man was but he has the knack of being rude and most would not realize it. I think if he is not making money off of you, you are SOL. I personally found him rude and unhelpful. Never less to say a very uncaring soul. Why Uhaul keeps people like this is beyond me. His unwillingness to be helpful gives Uhaul a very bad reputation.

Rude and outrageously unprofessional ownership. Refused to rent a truck without a third parties name, address, and phone number!?! Not a UHAUL requirement, also took pictures of my driver’s license and my credit card is on file. So why do they need an “emergency contact”? In what scenario is uhaul going to be to point of contact for your next of kin?? Steal our information, steal our information, steal anyone’s information. Also enjoyed being cussed at on my way out the door, I admittedly reciprocated but the OWNER of any business who cares more about getting someone’s personal information more than they care about renting you a truck for two days is clearly saying they make more money selling personal information than they do renting trucks.

Gentleman working was extremely helpful & very nice with my sister & me needing boxes for packing & shipping delicate china. Which reached its destination without one chip, in perfect condition. Wish I had gotten his name to personally thank him. He helped us on Thr. 6.4.20 ~11am.

This is the first time Ive ever been to this U-Haul location. This place is a lot bigger than it looks like from the road.The lady I that helped me was, 5 Stars.Owner, 5 stars.Overall experience, 5 starsThe owner noticed that one of the marker lights, on the side, didnt work and insisted that I take a different trailer.

I needed to have my pick up truck wired for trailer lights. I pulled into U-Haul on Chapman Hwy unannounced. I expected to be told it was a 3 hour wait or to make an appointment for next week or something. Nathan stopped what he was doing and got my wiring done on the spot. The workmanship was perfect and the customer service was outstanding.A few days later, I went back to rent a trailer. Karen handled the process. Karens product knowledge, work ethic, professionalism and friendly customer service was impressive. Karen and Nathan turned my project into a pleasure. Truly Exceptional. A special thank you to both of them. I will see you next time for sure.

A joke..never ever answers the phone

Stopped by last minute to pick up a 15 truck to move a fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and got me a unit as quickly as possible. Customer service and experience was five stars all day long.

Im just not happy dealing with the customer service people over the phone. The guy was nice at the return.. the truck worked..

Mike and Tony were SUPER helpful and very friendly. When I first moved to TN I needed a storage unit and a truck. They made that process easy. Moving out of my storage unit was even easier. They were making sure all arrangements were flexible for me and going to work out exactly as I needed. Couldnt ask for better customer service! Thank you!

This Uhaul store is great. Had hitch and wiring installed at a different facility that had issues and the guys at this Chapman Hwy store resolved in a professional and timely manner. Excellent service!!!

Excellent facility and very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The manager treated me like part of the family. I would likely recommend it to everyone.

This is my first ever online review but Ive got to praise Andrew for his help today. He went above & beyond, was great & represented U-Haul very well. He helped me fix a problem I was unable to fix myself. Andrew was very courteous, gave me good info & helped me find the part I needed & installed it for me. He did not make me feel like an idiot, which was greatly appreciated. Do whatever you have to do to keep Andrew around because he is a real asset & shining star for U-Haul.

Absolutely horrible service. Waited from 7AM until after Noon to get a trailer hitch installed. Made an advanced appointment and arrived to find one person there do to the run the store and do the work on my vehicle. I was told the job would take 2 hours at the most and it took over 5 hours.

Jane was awesome!! She searched to find me a tow dolly for about 15 minutes and got the closest one near me! 10/10 for Ms.Jane! Give that woman a raise!!

Great experience, this location didnt have the truck I needed, but they helped me make a reservation at another location. Clean store and restroom, very helpful staff.

This location has great customer service. They give a little grace period of youre going to be a little late. Very professional.

Experience was horrible. Needed a hitch for my Jeep. Called them and set an appointment for Monday (this was Saturday). When I showed up on Monday (on time), there was no appointment set, my hitch had been installed on another vehicle on Saturday afternoon, after I called, and the installation fee became more than twice what I was told it would be, after this add-on and that add-on. Instead of $167, it became almost $350. The guy I talked to on Monday wasnt the Steve I had talked to on Saturday, but it didnt seem to matter. No apologies were made or offered, and it didnt seem to be a big deal to him. I just told him to forget it, and he said fine. I have had bad service at several places for different products and/or services over the years, but it has never been this bad in this many ways. Good luck if you go there.

I highly recommend this Uhaul location! Because of the weather (snow & ice) I was stranded at home for 2 days with the Uhaul and wasnt able to move any of my belongings into my new house. The manager, Michael, was so kind and more than understanding of my situation. I will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you!

What a joke!!! This place will rip you off. Rented a truck to move truck had alignment problem and was unable to drive it. Drove truck 19 miles and returned it wanting full refund only to be charged $107.09 for a truck that I was not able to drive or use. They even charged me $35.28 for fuel but only drove 19.2 miles. Never will I do business with U-Haul again. Spoke with customer service on phone for 28 mins only to be told someone would contact me. The account was closed out and final invoice sent of $107.09. Absurd and ridiculous!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS UHAULI had an absolutely horrible experience at the uhaul on chapman highway. When returning our rental we were approached by Tony the manager at this location, he was extremely upset over there being mud on the wheels of the rental, and rudely asked or should I should I say barked at us if we had rental insurance, which we did. He would not stop yelling at my fiancé and was very threatening and completely unprofessional. I filed an complaint immediately after this occurrence, which was somehow directed to him, the exact person who the complaint was about. Tony proceeded to call my phone and leave a rude voicemail that to see if I would come in and review the video tape and repeated the things I had said in my complaint. He should have never been assigned this objection in the first place, and it is absolutely unprofessional for him to call and leave that voicemail knowing the complaint was about him. Weeks after this without warning he charged my card $114.08 without warning or authorization. I had deactivate my card and get a new one because this man apparently can charge your card whenever he feels like it. I am outraged with my experience at uhaul chapman highway of Knoxville TN.

I needed a receiver hitch installed. Got an 8 am appointment, was told it would cost about $130 for parts, labor and tax and be done by 9 or 9:30 am. When I dropped it off, they told me it would actually cost $180 and would be done by 11 am. I called at 10:30 to check the status and found out they hadnt started the work yet, and they were scheduling it to be done by 2 pm. At that point I took my keys back. These guys wasted a morning worth of work for me. Im not going back there again.

The general manager is a crook!!! I had him tell me and my wife we hadnt paid for the truck when i shown him numerous times it had been taken out of our account and he called us liars and told us that if we had to move, we need to make sure we have the money in front of other customers!! If someone shows you their bank statements of you over charging them, you fix the problem, not escalate it.

Have used this location many times and always with success, Mike the last Manager went out of his way to solve a problem that happened while using a 5x8 enclosed trailer. New Manager tony seems to be OK as well.

It is hard to get into and out of the parking lot. When in the lot it seems very small and tight.

Worst Place EVER!!!!!! (Tony Garland the Manger) was Very Very Rude and Dishonest.... He tells you one thing and does another and doesnt make Notes on your account like he says he would...If I Was You I would Record Everything they tell you because you will probably need it!!!!! I tried to make Several Complaints and nothing gets done..I have tried to contact the Owner and I cant get a hold of No One..This Place is A Joke!!!!!!
