I LOVE supporting local farmers and business so I get most of my vegetables and meat from here. The ready to eat food is also yummy, and they always have Vegetarian and Vegan options. Stop in for a quick lunch, or to pick up some fresh ground coffee.

Seriously nice folks and a selection that puts Whole Foods to shame! Unpretentious, good, clean food at very reasonable prices. I go there for the bulk herbs that WF stopped carrying for whatever reason.

The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful, and as a organic vegan who is also gluten free, I can find food there that feels hearty and fresh. I love supporting local businesses, and I can feel proud to spend my money there.

I decided to check this place out, my wife and her sister are always talking this place up so I went in for lunch. The buffet is good and very reasonably priced, it’s a smaller store but the selection is pretty good but I only gave 4 stars because what In the heck is wrong with the older gent that works here? The one I seen stocking up in the supplements isle? He is extremely rude! I politely said excuse me to walk by him since the isles are narrow and he just gave me a look and didn’t say anything and I ended up having to walk by him again and again I politely said excuse me I know he heard me and again he ignored me didn’t say sorry didn’t say anything. This guy must really not like working here but the rest of the crew seems nice. I wish someone would tell the old Guy that he Has to be polite to customers though Because without us he wouldn’t have a job.

AWESOME store with awesome merchandise. This store offers a great way to shop locally and sustainably. They have a great selection and allow you to bring your own jars to fill up which I love. The staff can be rude but overall a great place to shop.

My favorite cashier at, Three Rivers Market and local deli is Miranda.She always goes above and beyond each week to help me with all of my all-natural products each week.My oldest son purchases all his all-natural ingredients from Three Rivers Market for his baked cookies.And my youngest son purchase all his all natural ingredients from Three Rivers Market for his all natural kids kit.I love shopping at Three Rivers Market, for fresh organic fruits and vegetables each week.

Great place to get all the health food/organic/local food from the area. They have BY FAR the only serious local growers/makers selection I have ever seen in the areaThere local cheeses and meats are enough to make the best charcuterie you ever indulge in. If they sold local wine my weekend brunches would be a one stop shop.Local coffee, local veggies, local cheeses, meats and more. You can get all your other health food store type vitamins, bulk foods, soaps and more from this little gem as well.Ill be back!

I was in recently and I couldnt help but notice the way this red headed woman, who Im assuming is in some sort of leadership position, spoke to staff memebers. Wasnt very nice.

Just nice and supremely helpful employees. Baker Creek seeds found here. Unusual produce items. Locally butchered meats fresh and frozen. I am addicted to the Moroccan Couscous Salad. And you can feel great about supporting a local business.

We LOVE the co-op at Three Rivers Market and have been shopping there and been a member for many years, even in their old location. We appreciate locally sourced meat and produce. The bulk spices and coffee and their awesome hot/cold bar! I am always stopping in there to grab a snack even if I dont need groceries. I highly recommend them to people who care about where their food comes from and want healthy sustainable options. In addition to that, since the pandemic,I have felt the most safe shopping there than any other grocery store as their policies are strictly enforced and other establishments are not. For this, I would give them 100 stars in my review, if I could. Kudos to the whole Three Rivers Market family!

My favorite grocery store in Knox! Great selection of organic and healthy food, as well as supplements, personal care goods, ready-to-eat food, etc. I often come just for the hot bar (which gets heavily discounted if you go between 6:45 and closing time)

We love three rivers! It is one of the only two places we will buy meat since they only sell meat from ethically raised animals. Their hot bar is awesome! They sell lots of gluten free foods. And my four year old loves to push her own little cart that they provide.

Great location and healthy selections. Plus, they ensure a positive and safe shopping experience during the pandemic. This business supports the community and our community of local food producers! It is more expensive than a chain supermarket but, especially during the pandemic, the shopping experience and healthy variety have kept me healthy and sane.

Absolutely the best grocery store in town! Their pimento cheese is one of my favorite foods in this whole city. It is addictive. It will change your life. I love their soups and their salad bar. One of my favorite quick and affordable lunches in Knoxville. All of the employees are so kind and lovely. Im grateful to have Three Rivers in Knoxville.

Wow, this place is expensive! It shouldnt cost this much to eat healthy and local. This is why most people eat unhealthy and shop at Walmart. I am willing to pay a little bit more for healthy foods, but this is insane. $6 for a half gallon of milk? $5/ lb for rice? No way.

Every time I visit I am greeted by the staff, asked numerous time if I need help and the overall friendliness as well as knowledge from the staff on the product is great!!! Also, I love that they require masks to keep everyone safe. I also like how they have certain times when those who are unable to wear a mask still get a chance to shop. What a great accommodation!!

I truly love shopping here, and have been doing so for decades. I even had the honor to design the mechanical layout of their solar array. So, needless to say, Ive supported them through and through in many ways.During the pandemic, it is the only place I feel safe shopping due to their own requirements which are equal to if not above the recommended by the county.They have a great selection, a great staff, and a wonderful store at which to shop. If you cannot wear a mask due a disability I know they will make accommodations for you. For everyone else, mask on up, and shop away. Jackie and crew are above and beyond the best in town.

The best place to buy organic food or a delicious hot lunch

Three Rivers is my favorite grocery. The staff and managers go out of their way to make a safe, healthy place for everyone to shop, and are always trying to do their part to make the world more beautiful. From the native pollinator flowers planted around the building, to their commitment to eliminating plastic waste, it’s the most eco-friendly grocery in town. Their mask policy is also the best in town, and it’s a relief that their security guard enforces the policy, so the busy employees can focus on their jobs. I don’t worry about taking my family there during a pandemic because I know they are protected as well as possible.Three Rivers donates money to local charities, partners with public transportation, and over all has a beautiful, clean store. Most people praise their produce and groceries, but I want to point out these other details that make this my favorite grocery store.

My absolute favorite! Three Rivers Market has by far been the safest and least stressful grocery shopping experience since day one of the pandemic and continues to be so. Everyone (and I truly mean everyone) is helpful, hard working,, and courteous. One might gather that they enjoy their job and take your safety very seriously! Any trip to Three Rivers Market is always an overall positive experience!

I have been an owner in Three Rivers Market for over 20 years. I was fortunate enough to serve on the Board of Directors before they moved to the Central location. It is hands down the friendliest store in Knoxville. They support local growers, businesses, and endless nonprofits in Knox and surrounding counties. I always feel good when I finish my shopping trip.I appreciate the team members going above and beyond to make TRM a safe place to shop during the current pandemic.

I love Three Rivers! They have an excellent selection, high quality local meats and produce, and friendly employees. Great prepared food selections for a quick meal in the cafe or to go, as well. During the pandemic, they’ve been incredibly responsible and made sure that safety and cleanliness have been prioritized at all times.

Excellent store! I love the Vegetarian and Vegan choices. Their hot bar and cold items are delicious. I think the key though is the staff. Everyone is pleasant and helpful.

There simply isnt anywhere else in Knoxville to shop for responsibly sourced, local if possible, and thoughtfully selected groceries. As of this review (10/30/2020) they are the most mask mandate-compliant business in Knoxville. I feel safe there. I feel happy there. You will too.

This is the best grocery store in Knoxville. It is run by intelligent, caring members of the local community. Their selection rivals places like Whole Foods and The Fresh Market. I have been a share holder for years and did not ask to have my shares returned to me when I moved out of town. When I am in Knoxville, I shop here exclusively. I currently live in the most liberal part of the most liberal state in the US. We do not have a coop nearly as good as Three Rivers. What our selection of groceries here do share with Three Rivers Market is that during the pandemic masks mandates have been enforced in accordance with constitutional government orders (see Jacobson v. Massachusetts 1905 inter alia). This fact indicates that Three Rivers Markets cares about its customers and community and acknowledges the American belief that one’s rights ends at the end of other people’s noses. I look forward to shopping here again when I come back to visit Knoxville, my beloved adopted hometown.

Everyone is so kind and helpful, and I always find what Im looking for, and often something unusual that I want to try. Love this place! They have a large selection of hard to find items that are high quality and reasonably priced. My favorite is their bulk spices - get only the amount you need for pennies on the dollar of what you would pay for the jar at the grocery store and always use fresh spices!

This place has good plant based options. I was glad to see the prepacked deli items included potato salad made with veganaise. The prices here are pretty good.... yay for food co-ops! Plenty of bulk items to save even more. Hot bar could be a little better; everything seems to include dairy.

Love this market! It’s always a treat to visit Three Rivers Market! The produce is always top notch and there is always something new I’ve never tried before. This is one of the first places that I went to when the pandemic started and EVERYONE was wearing masks. Definitely one of the safest places I’ve been to in Knoxville.

Love the co-op! Been coming here for decades to include their old location prior to their moving to this location. Its easy to shop local here as their prices are competitive and the business model sells itself.

I can no longer shop or recommend this place as when you take things as far as having a guard at the door to approve your face covering you have taken things to a level that no company should. Since they have this kind of mentality they can also enjoy a little less money every month.

I was looking for some hard to find items. I was pleasantly surprised at their selections. The store was very nicely kept. I consider it as a Health food store. Im happy to have found this place and will go back. I totally love the cleanliness and support their concerns with precautions against COVID19. It shows concern about keeping their customers well. My go-to place for apples, oat-milk, Tomato Head products (Hooray - hummus and mushroom sesame dressing!), dried chickpeas, Magpies cupcakes, and sooo much more. Fantastic support of local and ethical producers, the market is a valuable resource for our community and my good health. Love it!

Been a shopper and fan since it was just called the Co-op. Staff members are always professional and fast yet calm even when the place is really busy and customers get cranky. Kudos for the Nourish for Change program that gives a boost of funds and awareness for so many local non-profits.

This is the place to get your organic produce. Because its not a huge box store, I can be in and out in 10 minutes with all the normal stuff I need for my kitchen. Theres never a wait at checkout, the people are cool. My kind of grocery store!

This market advertises as women-led, but unfortunately it is not women friendly. I have been treated poorly by the staff on numerous occasions. One lady who appears to be a manager actually stands on her tip toes to look across the register to make sure nothing is left in my cart although she has double charged me for an item that was over $8.00 before.On a different occasion, during the COVID pandemic, a clerk at the register had the audacity to hand me back my change and touch my hand with her gloves on...which she was not changing in between customers. After calling the manager to report the issue, the manager said I should have used hand sanitizer and tried putting the blame on me instead of the clerk.

Highly recommend! This place was bomb. The hot/cold food bar was so good. Prices are spot on. We are traveling from out of town and the prices are half of other co-ops or whole foods.

I have been a customer of Three Rivers for years. They are my favorite place to buy bulk spices because its considerably more fresh than buying from a standard grocery store. They have a great selection of products but their real asset is their team. From their prep kitchen that creates delicious to go dishes to their stockers and department workers that keep the store organized and clean and easy to browse to the front end customer service workers, all of your questions can easily be answered and needs met.Since the pandemic has started, this is the only grocery store that I shop in person. I work customer service in retail all day and do not have the patience to deal with people who are not following guidelines which include social distancing and wearing a mask. Working in customer service I have already seen the kind of mask that have been referenced in some of these reviews. They tend to be cheesecloth or something with holes cut in it which do not help stop the spread of respiratory droplets. As Three Rivers focuses on their customer relationship more than any other grocery store I have seen, they are doing all that they can to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Sadly although this store has a great selection and prices are decent they are horribly rude concerning the mask mandates! They knowingly and willfully violate ADA federal law! No more dollars of mine will be spent here. Sad as I really prefer to support local businesses.**update to their reply. I am not incorrect! Generally has full compliance with CDC/KnoxCounty Health Department recommendations. Probably the least dangerous place you can go from a COVID standpoint. Great selection of bulk dry goods, organic produce, sustainable meats, vegan options and prepared dishes. Full ADA access. Friendly staff.

Although I am not a frequent shopper due to lack of proximity, I really enjoy the shopping experience and very high quality products that are found here. They are working very hard to keep everyone as safe as possible during these difficult times and I applaud their efforts!
