Toys R Us is not what it used to be. The problem I had is the selection. With so many aisles you would figure that there would be many different products to choose from. Thats not the case. For instance the whole Marvel section features very few characters. The bikes are pretty much cruisers. Its like that throughout the store.

Loved this place as a child, we will never forget the joys you have brought us. This place made Christmas and so many memories. Kids now days will never know what a toys r us is. You will be missed

I dont wanna grow up, Im a Toys R Us kid... ooh, wait.....Thus ends an era and a piece of my childhood.Their going out of business sale was a damn joke to put it mildly, but I guess that doesnt matter now...Oh well, so long, Toys R Us, and thanks for all the fish.

I hate to see them close. We shopped at toys r us for many years. My oldest is 14 and my youngest is 1. We bought all of his birthday gifts there last week and spent $59. I will always be a toys r us kid.

First time at Toys-R-Us and we will definitely go back. Staff was friendly and helpful. This place had things you obviously cant find in a normal shopping center and had a few toys of characters my son likes that you wont find anywhere other than the internet so it was a big plus for us.

Although Toys R Us is closing its doors it was nostalgic being in the store. Staff still friendly and willing to help. This West Knoxville staple will be missed.

My son likes to go down the aisles. We buy Thomas trains here on days that he is extremely good. So sad that Toys R US is going away.

Always cluttered, and always feels run down. Not modern and energetic as one would expect from a good toy store. I feel like Toys r Us days are numbered.

Expensive and unreliable service. I placed an order online that was supposed to be ready for pick up and I was there 45 min. because they didnt have my order ready and then I was shorted a $20 Barbie. When I got home and realized I didnt have it they refused to fix the problem.

Love going to this location for the latest toys and gadgets for my nephew. I usually always find what Im looking for and its pretty neat to see all the toys that were not around when I was a kid.

More than one staff member was dismissive and rude when I was simply picking up a web order (although one lady was quite kind which is why it isnt 1 star)... But Im trying to remember that its the holidays... Hopefully Ill be able to revise my review in the future.

Rude, rude, rude! Ive worked in retail for 2 years now and I have NEVER treated a customer the way 3 of the 4 employees I interacted with at toys r us treated me today! The cashier Jill acted like I was such a bother when I bought something off a baby registry and asked her to take it off the list. She took much longer than necessary without any apology, holding up me and everyone else in line. She couldnt even manage a smile or a polite how are you? or have a nice day. Ive never been treated so rudely in a store before! Definitely wont be coming back.

My kids love it here, but its a good place to go look at toys but not really buy. A lot of there stuff is fairly expensive and a lot cheaper other places and even wit stuff on sale itspretty high priced. The only time i ever buy anything is when they have video game sales, mostly around black friday.

Well sadly this icon is closing for good. They had 30% off with 1 or 2 cash registers open. The line was very long. Did not really get any deals

I have a granddaughter and had a good time finding out what there are in terms of toys, etc. for children her age.

This is the only one left in Knoxville. Its always crowded, and always hot inside.If youre needing toys however, its sometimes the only place to get certain ones if you arent buying online.

Despite their bankruptcy and going out of business sale, the prices are still very high. There are few deals, but the shelves remain stocked and the store remains as clean as any other Toys R Us store.

Great service and atmosphere. Always lobe going. My 2 and 4 year old think they are at a theme park.

Sadly, toy r us is no more. They had a great selection at one time but had historically high prices.

Please be careful, there’s an obnoxious higher-level cashier that refuses to accept payment unless your card matches your name. I sent my child in to pick up something for a preorder and gave her my card to pay for it, and the jackass refused to process it because my name was on the card. My kid ended up overdrafting her account to pay for it!! If I was there I would’ve given that numpty a piece of my mind.If anyone encounters this, film it, tell the manager and stand firm. The idiot has no right to do this, and is just being a bully. She should pray that she’s lucky I wasn’t there.

Its just not what it use to be. Yes they have more variety than walmart but half or more of stock you can get it at walmart for way cheaper. There always running bogo and even with that price it still comes higher than walmart but if your only buying 1 item your paying top $.. i got a barbie doll for 16.97 at walmart same barbie here was 21.97

Total junk, place has some of the worst customer service ever. Asked for help and the employee didnt acknowledge my question and just walked away. Come to find out, he was on break but didnt bother to tell us, just cold shoulder.

Good place for kids & adults alike. They have a great selection of cards, games, & toys.

They wontwletwme use my prepaid gift card. The cashier I had was very annoyed at everyones presence and rolled her eyes when I tried to offer her the gift card to scan.

They had a pretty good selection of toys and pretty good prices the staff was ok but unfortunately they are closing down oh and also the staff can be a little rude sometimes but other than that it is a good store

I ordered a package on Black Friday it said it was supposed to come December 1st - 7th. I did not get my package so I called them late December and they said that they did not have my package and it must have had gotten lost, then they said that there were none in stock near me so I could not pick up the package for the same price and that they would refund my money within 7 business days. They didnt refund my money until 2-3 weeks later.

Wanting to buy a certain toy for Christmas I requested to be contacted when it was in stock. I received the email that it was in stock and I could pay for it and pick it up in store. I purchased it and went to this Knoxville location to pick it up and was told they only had 2 come in and both were gone. The manager said the email was sent out by mistake (bull*). Obviously a ploy to get people to come to there store.

This store is so useless. I went in on Black Friday and ordered a playroll Chevrolet Silverado for my son. I was told by a manager that it would take no longer than a week to arrive at the store. Its now been almost three weeks and still nothing!!! Ive called and called and the customer service employees act like they have no idea what Im talking about. These people are so ignorant and dont even know how to do there job. This store should be shut down like all the other toysrus in this area. They are just worthless...

Over priced toys, every time Ive been there, they have tried to double charge me. Toys are cheaper and in better shape else where.

This is literally the most useless toysrus Ive ever been to. The employees are utterly lazy, and whenever I try and call to get information, I need to call 3 times before anyone will actually answer the phone. First call, put immediately on hold, second call, phone picked up & then set back down. How stupid can you be to pick up a phone, answer a question thats literally a foot away, if that, and then let the customer know if you do or dont have an item.

The cashiers.It is suppous to be a happy place for kids.It is not.
