***Update. I ended up calling back because my breaks continued making the same noises. I told Scott that I would like the aftermarket break pads changed (yes, even though they are new). I would like to be quoted for Honda break pads. I was told Id recieve a call back shortly here we are a little over 30 hours and no update, no phone call. I need to get this fixed ASAP. Especially since I have children and dont want this to become a saftey issue. Luckily, Honda was able to fit me in and get it fixed! Looks like I will be staying with Honda! Disappointed Autoextend! Wheres my phone call?After reading rave reviews, I took a chance and brought my Honda to get it fixed. My husband and I have always taken both of our vehicles to the dealership for service; not anymore! Very reasonably priced. Professional and friendly. Didnt waste my time or money. Ill share the same here as I did on their website! Look no further! This place is the last shop you will ever need! My excellent experience started before I ever walked in the door! Between them taking very good care of my daughter previously and them answering every question we called with I was already impressed! The day of my service only proved even more, that we finally found a true home shop. I was stuck in a line right in front of the shop for about 20-30mins for what at first glance, appeared to be a wreck. Come to find out it was what we will call a medical incident that the guys jumped in and helped with until first responders arrived...great vehicle service and community service and compassion?!? Could it be? Then as promised they delivered high quality work, at amazing prices and in record time! Phenomenal. Words can not describe the experience we have had with AutoXtend. To say we will be back is an understatement. I will never use another service provider as long as these guys are around!!

Have an older vehicle that caused major problems in acquiring parts for needed repairs. Service provider went above and beyond to locate parts and secure repairs. Would recommend them to anyone!

Took my Jeep in for radiator replacement. This crew had it repaired the same day and the cost was lower than initial estimate. Very friendly and professional. Ive gone to a few different auto shops in my 10+ years living in Knoxville. Hands down, Autoxtend is one of the best. Id already had a great experience prior to today but wanted to share what happened today. We look in our Impala a couple weeks ago and got some extensive work done. When I went to pick it up, it had problems starting. They told me what the issue was (battery connector) and that if I did XYZ that I shouldnt have any problems. Well when we went to start it today, it wouldnt start and the trick they showed me didnt work. So they came to my house to troubleshoot & confirmed the thing I had an issue with last week just needed to be replaced. They got it started, drove it back to Autoxtend, and then came to pick me up when it was ready.Im sure there are shops that are cheaper but for me taking our cars to shops we can trust is even more important than the bottom line. Honestly, Ill probably never take our cars anywhere else in Knoxville.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We had to stop here in an emergency that was the result of a servicing error at another auto repair place. Though busy, they were able to squeeze us in to at least determine what the problem was. They diagnosed it quickly and worked with us to help get the place that made the mistake to own up to it and resolve it to our satisfaction. We were from out of the area and were extremely pleased to find such a quality shop by chance. Well done!

I’ve been very impressed with this place. After having nothing but negative experiences when it comes to car repair places, it’s nice finding somewhere that’s honest and backs their work. I went to get new rear brakes and tires yesterday. Once they were finished, they said they noticed there might be an issue with my front rotors. Since I had gotten them replaced there as well, they offered to look at them and replace what they needed to at no charge to me. Being a woman who doesn’t know much when it comes to cars, this kind of customer service is very much appreciated. I will definitely be back in the future for all of my auto needs!

An amazing shop. My car broke down during a cross country trip, and I was very, very lucky to be connected with AutoXtend by AAA. They went above and beyond helping me diagnose my car and get back on the road. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, kind, and professional. They also have a beautiful waiting area. I highly recommend them.

We have used Auto Extend since 2009 unfortunately those last time they dropped a very expensive bottle on a vehicle inspection I paid them to do.They missed a major item (front wheel bearings) $678.00 And when I asked them about the rear end I was told it would be $2000 until I went in to get it done and it suddenly turned to over $4000.I went to two different shops and got the work done for much less.It turns out the rear end trouble was caused by some clutches in the rear end and nothing metal whatsoever. Their idea was to just replace the whole thing and be done with it

Its hard to find a trustworthy mechanic who isnt trying to build the ticket like Ive literally heard other shop owners tell their techs when they thought nobody was listening. These guys are that trustworthy shop. Theyve been fair priced, trustworthy and honest every time Ive been there. I no longer live in the area and I still go out of my way to take my cars to them because I appreciate quality service.

These folks are outstanding. Very honest. They had the opportunity to recommend a lot of parts on my old trucks suspension. But, instead they said everything was amazingly tight and in good shape for 230,000 miles. You can trust them and I will be using them again. Prices are very reasonable, even cheaper than Jiffy Lube on oil changes.

Broked down on a Thursday night. Emailed them for a reservation to look at truck on Friday morning. Had an email waiting for me when I woke at 0700. Amazing. Showed up with Truck. Good Friendly Folks!! They did a look over and advised me that the breaks were not the issue, but the rear axle and seals. It wasnt the greatest news. The price was not unfair, and I felt they were going to finally get the job done right! We had this work done in Florida at the end of September- and no way if done right should the seal have failed. In any event, I had them do up my rear breaks, and fix the axle etc. They got this done by 1pm, and had us out of Knoxville so we could get home after a long trip. I would go back if I was passing through and needed something done. Kindness and Trust is all it takes- and the knowledge to get it done right.

**UPDATE****The below review has been updated. The first paragraph is new, while the rest is the original review.**{NEW}Scott called me and tried to explain himself. He said it wouldnt be right to take money from me without being 100% sure whats wrong and know that he can fix the car. He says he wasnt sure he can find all the bolts and parts that might not be there. My issue is he kept changing the number of how much it was going to cost (1300 after the first time he looked at it, then 1400 on Tuesday, then when he called me back it was up to 2,000 and he changed it again on the same phone call). This is something mechanics do sometimes when they dont want to work on a car. They say some outrageous number to scare you away. The thing is, I am a very to the point person. If he truly did have issues with getting parts or bolts then telling me up front that would be best. Dont tell me a number. The point of a quote is to figure out if the customer is willing to pay to get it fixed. If its something that you think is a lost cause because the car is too far gone or the parts might be hard to find -- just telling me is best. {END NEW UPDATE}If I could do a zero star, I would. I bought a car that I knew needed work. I did research, knew about how much it would cost to fix it. Sure, I could end up spending 2,000 on getting everything up and running worst cast -- but I would have a car that has nice features, that was one of my dream cars and no car payment. It would be mine.Well, I was going to take it to a shop my friend recommended but instead, I took it to this place because AAA recommended it. Now its sitting at AutoXtend and I honestly believe the guy doesnt want to work on it. I dont know why, he just kept saying its not worth it. But its worth it to me.I will never attempt to go here. If I take a car in for an oil change, maybe I will get a call saying, Its not worth it.Screw AutoXtend. Worst place ever. Took my Kia Forte in for service that it was due for. They charged $100 less than Kia had priced it. I waited a little longer than normal, my car was taken straight in, but the filter they had ordered had a bit of a deformation to it. Any other place would have put it right in and shipped your car out. They had another filter shipped to them that was perfect. Definitely will be back for the cars next service. Other places I checked out here in KY looked like something I wouldnt take a go-Kart in. They have had my business since I lived in Knoxville and even now with me living in KY. Worth the drive for the friendliest staff, cozy waiting area, and great prices, as well as knowing it is done right the first time.

Autoxtend folks work with my busy time demands, they will always try to work me in to a time slot so that i can get back to work. I will continue to work with the people at autoxtend because they work with me. Great company!
