I came here to get the brakes, and rotors replaced on my vehicle. They mentioned the car needed new calipers/brake hoses of course, and ended up spending over 650$. After leaving as I was going down the street the check engine light came on for the FIRST time. Also the squeaking seemed worse especially not better, and plus a new problem now. I ended up coming back 4 times to try ,and resolve these issues. They claimed it was not under the warranty anymore because of driving conditions, and expected MORE MONEY! It was a HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE! The manager does not care about the customer/cars at all due to his lack of respect regarding the situation. In addition, as you can see in the pictures they take smoke breaks more serious than working on your car!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY & GO SOME WHERE ELSE. I would have left zero stars

These guys really tried to pull a smooth one on my lady when she took our f150 for service . Left dip stick out ,lefty protection plate off the bottom, put wrong oil in, left it 1 court short of oil. Has motor information in the system wrong. And said we needed new shocks on the rear end and said they changed them but they never did. They just used our shock information and charge my lady for false service.here is pictures of all there mistakes and let me know if you think the shocks ever been replaced or not. But I did order new shocks from ford and put them on myself. The first set is what they said is new rear shocks they installed by and the mess they made under our truck. Next pictures is the new shocks I bought and installed my self.

They made a quick repair of our damaged catalytic converters and heater hose. They kindly did what we asked them to.

Just absolutely awful. These people dont even try. All the work Ive had done has been poor and lazy. Just go somewhere else seriously, youll be happy you did.

While on vacation our AC quit working. Without an appointment they wouldnt even be able to look at our car for 4 hours. But they were so helpful in assisting us to locating an AC repair shop nearby that could get us serviced right away. They even called the repair shop, provided our name, make and model of car. Thats what I call great service. 5 Stars for Midas in Knoxville.

I finally got the Midas touch!Mark was fantastic for the customer service he provided me. He worked around my schedule after a Labor Day weekend and was able to get the job done at the price I could afford. The mechanic did an outstanding job with new tires and an alignment. The company did great by providing a lender to make easy monthly installments. I wish the alignment had a 1 year warranty and not just 30 days. THANK YOU, MARK!

Started coming here after I moved to the area last year. Only compliments! Bring both our cars here for oil changes, general check ups, and any other maintenance. Always transparent with what they do and advise. I like the visit program so I get a free oil change every so often. I also like the inspection they text me after a service is completed. My experience was exceptional. Very friendly staff. Service reps Jasmine and BC both extremely helpful and the mechanic Jason even came out to explain an issue I didn’t understand. No pressure, good service and fair prices. I will definitely use them again.

I went to free service to have an exhaust bracket installed. I brought in the wrong bracket though. They charged 100 to take the broke one off, all 3 bolts. They told me to bring in the correct bracket and they would install it for 60 bucks. They said they had to remove other stuff to get to it and it would cost an hour labor. I was really displeased. I brought the correct part to Midas and they showed me how simple it was. It took them longer to pull the car on the lift and raise it than it did to install the bracket. It took less than 20min from the time I pulled into the parking lot til the time I pulled out and they charged me $20 + tax. I now trust these guys arent out to rip people off. I will now be returning with all me service needs. Thanks guys!

Do NOT trust this place! My van started suddenly overheating and this location was the nearest to me so i stopped here and had them do a diagnostic on it. They told me my radiator was leaking and it would cost me over $800 to replace it. I refused and when I brought the van back home, I found out the radiator was perfectly fine!! The leak was simply coming from a small hose that took me 2 minutes to fix! They lied to me and who knows how many countless others! Please be careful with this business!

Great customer service. We were coming back from Gatlinburg going towards Chicago. When we noticed the left side of the car kept bouncing and we were due for an alignment. We decided to do an emergency stop at the nearest Midas. The front desk employee was very nice ans informed us about their deals and what would work best for us. We were serviced very fast and back in the road in no time. Definitely recommend.

I have always loved midas and they have always treated me well. I decided to take my car there for new tires and I asked if I could bring in a new set of aftermarket rims for them to put on and they were okay with it. The day I got them put on, I had an appt. At 11 am. They didnt get my car in until 2pm and they were missing a part for a rim that I needed. I brought the part in and handed it to the master tech. Come 5 hours later I never got a call and they were almost closed so I stopped by to find out the master tech told no one that I brought them the part and placed it down. They never finished my car and never called me right before they closed to ask if I was bringing the part or not. They didnt even refund me any money that I paid and yelled at me for asking for some refund.

I visited this specific location and they were terrible. I had to change my spark plugs and shockingly when I went to a different mechanic the found my old ones left under my hood. Another instance was when I went for an oil change and they left oil all over my car seat. Just horrible, they can do better

Thought my oxygen sensor was out, turns out it was just loose. Saved me 300.00. These guys are awesome!! Have not been disappointed yet!!!

Theyre always busy which is understandable, but the past 2 times Ive been there, Ive made appointments and still had to wait for hours for completion. Had an oil change appointment that was 5 hours which is ridiculous and then husbands brakes took 6 hours all after I had set appointments. Cant spend entire days off waiting for fairly simple exercises to be taken care of on our vehicles. Good prices cant make up for that. Always loved Midas in our old city but this location is not the same.

Fast, friendly service. I didn’t have an appointment, but they got me in and out quickly. They took the time to show me what my brakes looked like and what needed to be replaced, all 4 pads and rotors, unfortunately, but the price was fair. I feel safer driving now.

Best experience Ive had with a car repair shop. Especially with minor issues I dont want to go to a larger shop that will try to tack on a bunch of tests and such that arent really needed. These guys have always been upfront and honest with me about what needs to be done and the urgency of the repair.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I took my car to them thinking it needed a brake job. After the inspection they concluded that it didnt and that all it needed was the brake system flushed. Mark took the time to take me back to the bay and show me my brake pads and explain how everything was in great shape. I asked them if they could check my tire pressure because the indicator light had been on for some time yet everyone who had checked my tires said they were fine. Nobody had been able to figure out why the light was staying on. Imagine my surprise when they informed me that the spare in my trunk was low - that was the reason the light had been on for all this time! I didnt know that it had a sensor in it! In closing, I was treated with respect and courtesy from the time I called the shop and spoke with Mark until I was handed my keys when the job was completed. If you want to do business with honest, reliable, professional, courteous, and upfront folks then I suggest you give the folks at Midas a call.

Great place honest people I take both my car there. And they know my name and vehicle history even b4 they pull up the info. On the computer. The few times Ive had issues they always went out of their way to resolve them.

Came in for the Winter Special and needed an alignment as well. Had an issue with some rough driving and the gents were honest, helpful, and quick. They were very up-front with me about which services I needed today and which could/should wait, which I really appreciate. Nice waiting room with complimentary water and coffee. All-around great experience with a really reasonable price on the package.

Fast and easy oil changes had an appointment got in and out

We needed spark plugs replaced. They told us the total would be 280 as long as none of the wires were ripped out. We came back and they ripped out EVERY wire. We payed 450 instead of the original quote. 2 months later the truck is misfiring again. We took the truck to a different mechanic. They told us that a busted spark plug was installed in the truck. So we payed 130 to have their mistake fixed. They reimbursed the 130. But still overpriced. And still bad service.

Very nice staff, great on pricing. They fixed what another shop destroyed and checked a bunch of stuff for free. Even gave me a call few days later to thank me for my business and make sure everything was still good on the car and make sure im happy.

Carlos, Jessie, Mark and the gang took great care of my friend Larry. Larry is a 1988 Ford F150 Larriat XLT. Larry is not pretty, but hes my old friend. His tires were getting warn and, rather than take a chance on bending him up, I asked my friend Carlos to help me with new tires for Larry. The team at Midas stepped up, gave me a great price on some great tires, installed them, aligned the wheels and got Larry back on the road. God bless you guys! Had a Groupon. Called on a Saturday morning, got me in the same day. (I dont recommend doing that) The two employees i had contact with were awesome. Friendly, helpful, professional. One is a technology wizard and looks forward to the transition to i-pads. I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Ill be back.

We were in Knoxville from Mobile, Alabama to pick up a new fifth wheel. About 10 miles from the dealership, we developed a crack in our radiator. I was able to find Midas via a Google search for radiator repair near me, and on a Saturday they were able to find us a radiator, install it, and get us back on the road in just a few hours. Went in to Midas 20 minutes before. Closing. The staff was very polite. And got me in and out before closing they informed me of my un even tire wear and also showed it to me so i will be going back for a front end Alignment next week. No hassles no pressure just professional and made me feel comfortable.

My 2009 Corolla needed a new catalytic converter. The dealership price was just under $2,000 as was a small shop I normally take my car to for servicing. Midas price was $480. It was installed in January and so far so good.The staff was very nice and not pushy. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend anyone to atleast get an estimate from them for any work needed on your vehicle.

Quoted $160 for 2 brake pads, didnt mention $70 for turning rotors. Need more transparency in pricing. Also had to wait over 2 hours after brake service because they didnt have lug stud in stock. Got with owner to resolve issue, very helpful.

Online quoted price ( minus taxes ) was spot on. Had a 9:00 am appointment was done by 10:30 with a complete exhaust system change out and oil change.The guys were very friendly and accommodating. I’d highly recommend there services and will be back.

I have taken my work car and my play car to Midas multiple times. They fix what they say they needs to be fixed. If you have issues or mix-ups they will make sure to get that corrected! Waiting room is perfect and the drop off pick up service they offer is great if you still need to work!

Had exhaust work performed here once. One of the mechanics convinced me to go with a different muffler than the one I had brought with me and it turned out to be exactly the sound I was looking for. Knowledgeable staff, pricing is moderately high but its an auto shop.

Very poor experience, spent way too much money fixing a problem they failed to notice. Shout out to the Honda dealership for finding the problem Midas failed to find after selling me tires. 0/10 will not return here. Maintenance required light is coming on after them fixing my car which hasnt came on since Ive owned the car.. but Ill be going somewhere else that treats customers better to fix my car. I wouldnt have bought new tires had they told me I needed a bushing fixed too, because I didnt have the money to get it fixed. I could have got used tires and fixed the bushing and not had to borrow money for my car to be in working condition. The part to fix my car was 40$, they definitely could have done me better on the labor but didnt want to. The owner didnt want to lose money the manager said. Which to be honest you should lose money if you dont throughly inspect a vehicle someone drives on a daily basis.

Took my Jaguar x-type in to get a simple brake pad replacement. After several hours the mechanic came to us and said “They’re just going now for a test drive but we can go ahead and pay.” I saw my car get put on the ground and went to pay. As soon as I finished paying (took less than 3 minutes) i turn around and my car was already at the door. So there was no test drive, I assume the mechanic just drove a lap around the parking lot and figured it was fine. (Unacceptable). I didn’t think much about it as it was a very simple job that couldn’t possibly be messed up. I literally got onto the interstate and noticed right away something was not right. So I immediately pull off the interstate two exits later and all 4 wheels are billowing smoke and overheated. Come to find out all 4 brake calipers were locked into an engaged position. I towed it to Harper Jaguar to see what Midas screwed up and long story short, everything to do with my brakes are completely ruined. How do I go into a “professional” car shop with literally never having an issue and finish needing $2000 worth of repairs that the shop itself caused? Coincidence? I would never recommend Midas as the workers were not understanding and unhelpful. Waste of my time and money. If I could leave negative stars I would.

Did a great job for me!

For the most part I was satisfied. Had the oil changed and tires rotated on mine and my daughters cars for a good deal. But, when I got home and took the rear tires off of my daughters car to change the brake pads, I found that the steel belt was showing all the way around the inside of one with a section about 8” of the rubber was gone. That’s not the fault of Midas of course but I specifically asked how the tires were in their opinion and nothing of this was mention, only that it needed an alignment. It looks as though it could blow any time and that made me nervous for my child driving it. Either need to do better inspections or better communication is all. Had they told me about it I would have bought tires from them while I was there lol. Had I not changed the brake pads it could have been a bad outcome. Not mad and not downing Midas at all, I would use them again but ask for better communication.

Midas was able to successfully fix a very poor job done by Meineke on my rear brakes and did a fine job with my front brakes. Also their customer service was really good. I really want to give them five stars. The reason I gave three stars instead is for two reasons.First when they tested the brakes after the work was complete the tech rode my car pretty hard (I went along). Shes no spring chicken and Ive babied her since new. I rarely need to go over 2000 rpms but he had the tach closer to 5000 (were testing brakes not acceleration here right?) I guess because they fit me in (which I appreciate) maybe he was in a hurry and didnt want to drive far enough to find a straight stetch where he could accelerate reasonably?? Its a gutless little Sentra not a racecar. My familys livelihood depends on this car lasting us for quite a while longer as we can hardly afford to repair or replace it, and I prefer it be treated with respect.Second I requested they return my old brakes (proof Meineke messed up) and instead of putting them in the trunk or on the floor he put the greasy box on the seat leaving two long grease stains Im working to scrub out now. My upholstery was perfect...I mean its a Sentra not a Lexus but again I value my car, take really good care of it and wish it treated kindly.Im sure if I brought it up they would apologize but you cant uncrack an egg. The best apology is not doing these things in the first place.

Horrible Experience! My daughter needed a flat repaired. She called them and they said bring it in and well get right to it. When she got there (with her 6 mo. old child in hand) they said they couldnt help her. What kind of jerks would promise a new mother over the phone that they could help to then simply blow her off when she arrived? I guess maybe only someone needing to spend a lot of money gets taken care of at Midas in Knoxville!

Awful experience here. Came in for a brake fluid flush and came out with my keyfob in half because the rough mechanics broke it. I would rather pay extra for better service at Honda than this 3rd party car joint. I will not be coming back.

As one example out of several experiences, I came in thinking that my cooling fan needed replacing and I knew and was prepared to pay $$$ to get it replaced. My vehicle has issues burning through cooling fans. After he did his evaluation he came in and told me that the electrical cord had simply come unplugged and that the fan was working find when plugged in. He then advised me to other issues that would come up and about when he felt the would be an issue. Sure enough, he was pretty right on.This is just one example of how good these guys are and they dont play on a lack of knowledge. They are fair, ethical and their prices are competitive. Not taking my car anywhere else.

After getting my brakes done at Midas once and unknowingly overpaid, I swore I would never go back. Then my boyfriend and I went to Midas to get refrigerant put into his car because they were running a special. Unfortunately, his car had something wrong with the compressor so they couldnt perform the full service. We still had to pay the price for the service for them to tell us the AC still wouldnt work. I would not be upset if they had just charged us for running tests instead of the full service. Luckily, the employee that helped us was very nice and mentioned that it was a bummer to have to pay that much for the AC to still not work. Unfortunately, this is the second time I feel like I have overpaid at Midas and I will not to go back.
