I had a very unique but normal for some situation. I was determined to purchase a vehicle for both I and my partner. We had been renting vehicles for the past couple of months. Everyone took great care of me. Got a nice decent miles Camry. Got all the financing done within an hour. Only drawback that I could say is that they only had one salesman. Dont get me wrong Josh is a great salesman and takes care of everyone great, but I had an appointment at 3 and when I got there, there were two sets of other customers being waited on so it was a lil bit of a wait. But I would recommend all of the folks at carsmart.

Update on 9.23.20: The 2018 Nissan Sentra I bought from here has been in an accident of some kind, before my purchase date of 9.12.20. It has a bent frame and sub frame. The head of maintenance, owner and shop techs apparently all agreed that its a non issue, which it is. They did replace a bad wheel baring which I appreciated. Updates to follow later if theres refusal to fix frame issues. I went here on 9.12.20. I had been in talks with the dealership for a couple days. I have a unique situation currently and they took care of me w $0 down and they help pay the taxes up front which is always a burden to come up with within the time frame (30 or 60 days). I purchased a 2018 Nissan Sentra SV and am very pleased with it. I think the only downfall is their online inventory listing. It currently had 96 cars listed but only approx 20-25 of them were on this actual lot in Gladstone. So I dont know if they have another location or they have more vehicles elsewhere or some on the way but, the listing is kind of misleading. They were by appnt only and I was the only person there at opening so they concentrated on me and I was able to drive a few different vehicles and dwindle it down to the one that would work best for me and their terms and keep me in my payment range. I didnt feel pressured or judged in any way by the guy (had long blk hair, forgot his name at the moment) that took care of me. I had my 6y/o daughter with me and he engaged with her at times to keep her occupied and that was cool. I was approved in less than 10 mins and started with their recommended car to look at 1st and then we went from there. Their process is unique I feel and they help you find the right vehicle via your needs. No issues with anything so far. They pride themselves in obtaining newer, lower mileaged vehicles and sell them at normal cost. I KBBed the 3 or 4 vehicles I had interest in and they werent over selling them, the price points were right on target. I plan on sending my wife here beginning of the week so look at a vehicle as well, they stated they would give her the same $0 down and $0 taxes up front deal. Will highly recommend as long as frame issues are squared away with no cost to me.

Jolene was awesome! Came in to see what inventory was available and to talk about trading in my old 2002 Explorer. I still owed quite a bit of money on it, but that didnt seem to matter to CarSmart! They hooked me up with a brand new ride after getting me approved. $0 down! Both my wife and I have now purchased cars here and we both would use them again!

We did have some trouble with getting to the dealership because we had to be picked up, didnt have a working car, but most any trouble was due mainly to the virus protocols. Gotta be careful with them. Took our car in because we were told 5500 for a trade in. Any condition. This text also included an image of a car being towed. After verifying Any condition? we had it towed 60 miles (it didnt do the highway well and was leaking coolant). We were also pre-approved for a loan.When we arrived, they did approve us for a loan, and we signed over the vehicle and took the new vehicle. However they only gave us $1000 for the trade-in, and said they were unable to uphold their end of the $5500. If we had the ability to drive our car back we would have walked, but of course we couldnt because it would have required highway driving.Long story short, dont believe them if they tell you theyll give you x amount for a trade-in for any condition. Felt kind of ripped off by this.The experience in the dealership was fine. Chris (our salesperson) was very nice, pleasant to talk to, and enjoyable. But yeah, the whole being lied to left a bad taste in my mouth.In response to the owners reply, nowhere was up to included in the text message or conversion. See attached.

Spent a few hours there with Madeline 2 weeks ago and she was great. Very friendly and patient, didnt pressure me at all and was able to hold a great conversation during the waiting periods the entire time I was there. Not here! The butterflies calmed almost immediately after talking with Chris. I bought a IS 300 Lexus from Car Smart on Monday after having a not so good experience at another bigger well known dealership this past Saturday. After leaving that place I found the car I wanted online at Car Smart and called to confirm the Vehicle was still there and to set up a time to look at it. I had the pleasure of speaking with Chris Foockle. All though that one had sold Chris said they had a few others he thought I would like. We made an appointment for first thing Monday morning and he was right. I found the perfect car. The process went very easy and within a few hours I was driving away in my “new” car. I was impressed the second I walked into Car Smart. I wasnt quite sure where to go and Lanie approached me immediately and asked how she could help me. I told her all of my wants and needs in a car and where I stood credit wise and financially. She reassured me that Car Smart could get me in a vehicle and that is exactly what she did. Lanie and Vick were great about helping me choose a car and explaining my options. We found a car that fit the bill and I took it home that night. Two days later I decided the car was too small and brought it back and Lanie and Vick worked their magic again and I left that day in a different car. I heard an advertisement over the radio about Car Smart. I wasnt sure weather or not I was really ready to purchase a new car or not. However, I decided to go in to Car Smart and see what my options were. The sales person I had Brittany was wonderful. She gave me my options and we looked at a few car but still I wasnt sure weather or not I was ready. She didnt push me at all in regards to purchasing a new car, with that in mind. Awesome car buying experience. I worked with Josh, who is very soft-spoken but did a great job and was very patient with me. I am extremely happy with my nicer newer car!

I went here about three days ago looking for a vehicle, despite my thoughts of it being like every other car dealership I had a phenomenal experience without even walking away with a car. As soon as I entered the door I felt welcomed and I was greeted right away by several people. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to browse through the vehicles before we ever discussed payment. The people that I worked with were very polite and professional but also were very upfront, honest and transparent about the process. I needed a little bit more of a down payment than I had budgeted for but trust me, once I improve my credit a little more I will be visiting car smart for my car buying needs. Thank you to all the wonderful staff I worked with and hopefully we will meet again !

Lanie was a great help. I came in to get a car and I didnt have good credit or money down but the team helped me and my partner get a me get a 2017 car that I actually liked. Be aware that you do need full coverage within 24 hours, but other than that it is possible to come in and leave with a car the same day. The team is very personable and great. Lanie is great and she also lowkey convinced us to get a dog. Great person, cool place.

I really enjoyed working with the people at Car Smart! It is the first time in my life I enjoyed buying a car. Most car dealers just annoy me, but Car Smart really is different.Great people and genuinely fair deals on low mile, late model cars.I recommend it to anyone looking for a good used car.

After typing in my name and email address on their site, I was able to view cars in their inventory. I was contacted via email by a Customer Service rep who was very lax, not high-pressure. I set up an appointment for the following day, and my husband and I went in without expectations, so, if we were unable to get approved for a car we would not be disappointed. We were there for several hours due to how busy they were, but the environment allows this to not be a bad experience. They had 103.3 personalities there, a cinema on site for kids to watch movies, and serve free refreshments including hot dogs, chips and bottled waters. Every car on the lot are newer model cars. They are in pristine condition, and fairly priced. Our sales representative treated us with respect and engaged us in conversation while we awaited credit approval. He never gave us any indication we would have been a waste of his time if we didnt get approved. He never treated us like a sale, he treated us like he wanted to help us. We were approved and drove home with no money down in a 2011 car! They were able to work around our credit issues to help us get a new start. We will definitely purchase from them again in the future. They even have on site auto care to include oil changes they do for customers at a discount, even for the vehicles you did not purchase there. Great experience.

I do not have the best credit and Breanna and Ted Heater were able to get me financed and put me in a vehicle that is only 3years old!!!

We had an awesome experience. Good deal $, great car, good financing. We were very happy all the way around. Also very important, was the super welcoming atmosphere. Everyone there was just friendly and helpful, not overly used car sales type. They have toys at each table for the kids, a kids movie room, homemade cookies. Lots of extra touches. I cant say enough positive :)

Giving them 1 star for the fact that they are dishonest and not straight forward. I submitted an application for a car, got a phone call the same day saying I am approved and all I need to bring is my paycheck stubs and drivers license. The next day, I drove there (30 minute drive) only to find out I am actually not approved, and would need a co-signer. So, I got a co-signer and submitted the paperwork. I sat there for over an hour waiting for them to tell me if it was approved or not. Came back NOT able to approve unless I put $2000 down. They ran my credit report to 20 different lenders and lowered my credit score by almost 30 points!!!! So the next dealership I went to informed me of this, and now my credit score was just below what I needed to get approved without a down payment. Got a car from the other car lot with no hassle or issues, even though CarSmart caused my credit score to be lowered. All of this was because they were not straight forward or honest with me from the beginning. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM IF THEY TELL YOU YOU’RE APPROVED. However, on a positive note, the sales associate Maddy was very nice and accommodating.-And I DO make the amount I quoted over the phone when I got “approved”, and provided pay stubs showing this. Glad I didn’t get a car here, I got a great car at a great price at a different location. I would recommend going elsewhere!

These people at CarSmart are awesome. Butch, my salesman, was excellent. Not pushy. Very laid back with his approach. They helped me when I thought no one was going to be able to. And, put me in the vehicle of MY choice and NOT what they just wanted to get out of their inventory. This has allowed me to start over the right way and couldnt be doing it without CarSmart. They deserve more than the 5 stars allowed.

She helped me through the whole process and was so kind and patient with me. She stayed an extra 2 hours after close to help me close the deal! Great experience, being a 1099 worker, it was hard to find a lender for me but Addison and Car Smart put it all together and got me the vehicle i needed. I would recommend Car Smart to anyone shopping for a vehicle. Pleasant experience and Good Hot Sauce! Just a overall pleasant experience and easy.
