JCPenney has name brand clothes. But most of the time they have kinda good prices

Hardly any of the dressing rooms are open! We had to walk all the way around the store to find an employee, in which was a young boy working in the return/pickup department when I asked where the nearest dressing room that was open, he rolled his eyes at me! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! They have good prices but I’d rather pay extra at Belk and not be treated like I did here today! I would give 0 stars but Google made me give at least 1!

Some ladies dresses were okay, but couldnt find many dressy dresses or tops for formal or semi-formal events.

The young woman who checked us out was awesome. We found great pants for my husband. She ordered others for us at the register. Her customer service deserves an additional high 5. I will do more shoppingat JCPenny.

I try to take into account that we are living in COVID times when I write reviews. That being said there were some real sticking points in todays shopping experience. It started only one fitting area with only 3 rooms open. I stood 20 minutes waiting for a room to open up and thought several times about walking out - but I desperately need a few work tops. There was a sales associate straightening the lingerie and she never once acknowledged me as she walked around touching bras like she was busy. I have to say the associate running the one open register was doing an awesome job. She was patient and very friendly and never seemed frustrated as the people in front of me kept having her ring and cancel and re-ring items (they apparently were trying to get the best deals possible). I normally just order everything online but have recently lost 30lbs and needed to try on for fit. After this experience, I think I will take my chances with online shopping and it probably wont be with JC Penney.

I had five dresses draped over my arm looking for a dressing room. Only to be told it was closed this weekend because you wanted all the clothes on the floor for inventory next week. Obviously your convenience is more important than your customers. Very very disappointed.

They had what my wife and I were looking for. The store was clean and bright. Our cashier Arianna was very polite and folded our clothes neatly in the shopping bag.

Have always liked Penneys. Quality products at fair prices. Huge selection. Very nice store

So glad this store is so opened. Love their sales, their coupons and their merchandise selection. Appreciate their curbside pickup but also enjoy shopping inside the store.

Terrible experience. There were employees everywhere but only 2 fitting rooms open and 1 cash register! We waited in line for 45 minutes because it was so busy. This was on a Friday evening!! Absolutely WILL NOT be shopping here again.

Really clean, very pleasant atmosphere. Not many people working. The holidays are over and the cut backs are noticable. Be patient, be kind and theyll take care of you the way your accustomed.

Nice selection of clothes. The workers were nice and I was able to order a denim jacket and I received it in a timely manner. My only problem was there werent enough cashiers. That problem was eventually settled. I recommend people shop at JC Penney

Normally Im pretty happy with my experience at this store. Today I tried the curbside pickup option to pickup my order. I waited for over 10 minutes and the status didnt even change to an associate is looking up your order so I left my car in the curbside spot and walked in to get my order. In and out wasnt bad but I wont be using curbside again.

These stores are applying the Cancel Culture to a Made in American business, one that employs 1,600 Americans.. The MyPillow Company. Why are they doing this, POLITICS! Andrea of JCP said it was due to the MyPillow being a bad Product. But anyone that has ever slept on a MyPillow, knows better than that.Maybe it is not your favorite pillow, but it certainly is not a bad product... if it is to Andrea, then it is due to her political viewpoint clouding her decision making for JC Penny. No wonder they filed for Bankruptcy and are closing more stores.

They have a magnificent sale going on. Stop by and get yourself something nice. I did.

Awful! Is all I have to say! Terrible customer service! The troll at the dressing room harassed us while we were trying dresses on! Then manager pushed it off like it was okay! Needless to say less than impressed! They don’t even deserve the one star!

Kinda hard to social distance with only 1 dressing room and checkout stand open. Perhaps they are understaffed.

Went on 2 separate occasions for a jacket and each time I checked out and swiped my card it would deny me, went to another store and it worked. So there system is clearly outdated.

This place is great I have never had a bad haircut. Unfortunately I was out of town and had to get a haircut that did not turn out so well. Today Nancy was able to do her magic once. I highly recommend the place and everyone is so nice.

This store refuses to take back merchandise from the Kingsport store or even issue a store credit! Since the Kingsport store is obviously closed I guess we will have to travel further now to get to a decent, reliable store. Another reason for our return was that during Covid rhe dressing rooms were closed and therefore the clothing was too large. Shame on JC Penney management! And my mother was one for 26 years. She wasthe one returning the clothing. Simply pathetic!

Very limited on nicer clothing. Also, very pricey. I dislike to say this, but Walmart is overall better.

How do these folks stay in business? Seriously, with all the competition from the likes of Wal-Mart and Amazon, it amazes me that they can continue to operate pretty much the same way they have in this mall since way back. Its impressive!

One of the absolute worst Jcpenny stores I have been in. The staff was very rude and nothing was organized the whole store looked as if a tornado had gone through it! This is not the first time but every time I come to this one it always looks so horrible. They do NOT care what their store looks like and have no consideration of the customers.

They have 2 check outs in the middle of the store. We waited for 6 mins to check out while a manager was getting change. When I asked her if there was another cash register she said its on the other side of the store she was very rude and so were the young people at the cash registers and no one bothered to smile or greet you at all. Not very customer friendly store.

Penneys oz one of my favorite stores. Clean, neat and friendly/ helpful staff. I usually can find whatever im looking for here. However today i was looking for something off-season and they didnt have it so Im not going to hold it against you.

Messy. Understaffed. Sadly its a sign of the times when the mall and the stores within are slowly closing.

Tried to exchange a shirt and Jeans. Lost receipt and they were horrible and wouldnt let me exchange, not even for different sizes

I enjoy shopping here. I was impressed how they worked together to help customers. While checking out, I could hear their walkies, someone sending help to get customers through the check-out (even though there were only 4 of us in line and 2 registers going). At least 3 employees asked if I needed any help, but they werent circling like vultures. Its clean. Theres always a good deal going on.

It was fine. I was disappointed because I bought a bunch of money on props because the person I talked to on the phone told me the more the better. But the person there didn’t use very many. Otherwise we got some good photos which is not easy to do with dogs! The photographer seems to be very skilled indeed!
