After coming back for a fitting for the wedding dress we spotted a few beautiful dresses. With Leannes assistance we purchased this lovely one shouldered satin A-line dress which absolutely stunning on. Leanne knew just the right accessories to complement the dress and match the taste of the individual.Whenever we go to Davids Bridal the bridal assistants are nothing but attentive and sincere in their advice. They make what could be a very difficult and stressful situation enjoyable and special.
I came in to the Birmingham store today with my bridesmaids to find their dresses after trying a number of different places. The process was really smooth and Stacey was really friendly and helpful. I especially liked how inclusive and discreet she was when sorting measurements and sizes as my bridesmaids are all different sizes and chose different styles of dresses. I had the most amazing experience picking my bridal dress here! Leanne was my consultant and she was so helpful, supportive and really knew which dresses would make me feel great. I ended up choosing the very first dress she picked for me because it was just the one! I felt so beautiful in it. I was so worried that I would have to trawl through dress after dress, bridal shop after bridal shop to find a dress but I didnt. I found it at the very first shop I went to - Davids Bridal Birmingham. I cannot recommend them enough.

What a lovely experience! We booked a bridesmaid appointment and really pleased to get a one to one service with Leanne. She asked some questions about what I was looking for as the bride and also how my bridesmaid felt and what styles she might like. She knew her range and quickly got a couple of suggestions that match the colour scheme and the style my sister would feel her best in. She gave us plenty of time to have a browse ourselves. To be honest the first one she tried on was the one but we did try on a few more to be sure. Leanne offered to fetch some shoes to try so we could complete the look. We brought those too! All staff we met were lovely and helpful. The store itself is light, airy and welcoming. The bridesmaid range is honestly excellent. So many options, for all colours schemes and all body shapes. A must visit for any bride squad. Worth the travel too, we came into Birmingham especially from Nottingham as its our closest store.
I went to find a dress for a black tie event a few days beforehand. Since I hadnt been to a black tie event in a really long time I was nervous about the whole thing. Rachel was so warm and welcoming that I was immediately put at ease. She was very respectful of my budget and was so interested in my style preferences and even wanted to know about the event I was going to.I felt very well looked after. It was an amazing experience. Just came out of my first and only appointment. I was completely unsure about what I wanted and not feeling confident about any of the process. Georgia was brilliant, she listened to me and suggested things to try without being pushy. She completely read the mood. The second dress was absolutely perfect. The selection was brilliant, great variety in styles and sizes. Everyone was really lovely and a shopping experience I was worried about turned in to a really positive experience.
Found this amazing store after visiting House of Fraser, Selfridges, Next, M&S and every other department store in Birmingham city centre, looking for a gown for a TV appearance. I was so surprised at the array of dresses they have! Not only do they stock wedding and bridesmaid dresses of all colours, shapes and sizes, they have wonderful gowns fit for a ball, a cruise, a wedding (as a guest) and any other special occasion. I was blessed to have the assistance of Shirley who helped me with my selection of dresses. She was so professional, polite and helpful with her advice.....nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Davids Bridal.When I turned up to Westminster Abbey to film the Songs of Praise Christmas episode (yep, in September), I felt so special in my navy blue dress. Myself and my bridal party went to David’s Bridal as we felt it was the best option for bridesmaid dresses. As we are all different shapes and sizes it seemed like the perfect option with all their colours and many dress styles. Our experience was absolutely fantastic!! Every one of us felt at ease and relaxed as we were able to try on as many styles and colours that we wanted to. Our fitting assistant, Lottie, was very friendly and helpful but never over-bearing. She provided enough support and guidance but allowed us to try at our leisure. Every one was extremely professional and I would absolutely recommend them!
I was absolutely dreading wedding dress shopping - I hadnt seen a single dress online that I thought would suit me and I would be happy in. I was even slightly intimidated by the thought of a larger department shop, and I really didnt want it to be an emotional experience, or to make it all a big deal. Lydia was absolutely perfect. She was so kind, friendly and understanding. She listened to every bit of feedback I gave from each dress I tried on and pulled dresses that I would never have picked (but liked). She was so helpful in explaining all the alteration process and every change I could make to a dress to make it suit my criteria and make me comfortable on my wedding day. Not once did I feel pressured to buy a dress, and when I chose my dress we had a secret celebration as I didnt want to ring the bell. Also, Lydia was working with myself and another bride and not once did I feel abandoned or like I was hanging around waiting - she was incredible. I cant believe how much I enjoyed this experience, especially as I was so nervous. I highly recommend Davids Bridal to any bride wanting to find their dress, and Lydia is an asset to the team. I came in to just have a look around at the wedding dresses, I had already been to a few other shops to try some on and was feeling deflated. I was paired with the absolutely lovely Kate, she went above and beyond to help me find what I wanted. She listened to what I liked, the style and fit that I was looking for, she saw what made me feel comfortable and what didnt I honestly cant praise her enough. Had a wonderful experience today whilst looking for a dress for my sister. Lots and lots of choices, Kate was so lovely and ,knowledgeable, she came up with a few wild cards which were stunning and definitely hit the mark!I love the fact we were allowed to take photos! There were so many dresses, and different styles and designs my sister was truly spoiled for choice! Absolutely amazing! Highly reccomend Paige! Throughout the whole experience she paid 100% attention to my daughter and listened fully to what she was wanting. Paige also pushed my daughter to consider other styles and knew exactly what was needed to help her find her dream dress. On Saturday myself and a couple others came shopping at David’s Bridal for my sisters wedding and looked for bridesmaid dresses.The selection of dresses is amazing with a variety of different colours and styles. There really is something to suit everyone for all shapes and sizes and any colour you wish for at your wedding. The changing facilities are spacious and easily accessible.Charlotte made us feel so comfortable and couldn’t be more helpful. She listened to what my sister visioned for her wedding and helped pick styles with this. We loved having Charlotte as our stylist.We had a lovely morning picking out our dresses for my sisters special day and would highly recommend for anybody looking for bridesmaid dresses/wedding dresses/ flower girl dresses and mother of the bride. They also have a great selection of accessories etc
Absolutely fantastic!!! I cannot recommend Paige enough. She made me feel £1million and more! I didnt go in expecting to find my dream dress and Paige succeeded in the first 1!! (Obviously I tried on more than 1). Also a big shout out to Dean for helping out with the final items! I will be coming back to hunt for bridesmaid dresses!!
Came in today for an appointment to find bridesmaid and flower girl dresses, Lottie was amazing, really patient with the little ones and nothing was too much trouble. We were in store almost 2 hours trying in dresses until we found exactly what we were looking for, colours were great and the fact that everything could be ordered to colour match exactly was just what I was looking for, would recommend 100%
Fab experience! All of the staff are so lovely and helpful and the order and collection process was super simple. I didnt realise how long the lead times were but they were able to help me pick out a dress that would arrive in time and it did! However, Ive knocked off a star as I didnt actually receive an email telling me my dress was able to collect? Thankfully I was already planning to ring that day and was told during the call - definitely not the fault of the staff just something in the process had gone wrong.
I was a bit nervous as this was my first experience shopping for a wedding dress, but Kate made me feel comfortable looking round and taking my time choosing the right dress. Which I did and could not be more excited about. I found my perfect wedding dress at David’s Birmingham with the help of the fabulous Lydia. Lydia was unbelievably helpful; running backwards and forwards, getting different dresses and veils for me to try… pinning the dress, fluffing the dress, rearranging the dress, pinning the dress again, fluffing the dress again, moving me around to see the best angle etc etc. No question or request went unanswered and she made me and my bridal party feel totally at ease. For the best in the biz go see Lydia and you’ll be ringing the bell to say ‘yes to that dress’ in no time!
Great service every time, both times spontaneous visits and they were able to squeeze me in between their appointments. Most recently with Kate who helped me pick out a veil to match the Oleg Cassini dress Id bought from them earlier. Very helpful, considerate, patient and attentive to my requests.

I booked my first bridal appointment at David’s bridal last Saturday with the hopes of finding my perfect wedding dress. This weekend I had a great experience picking my wedding dress at David’s Bridal in Birmingham. The staff really could not have done enough to make it a special time. I was helped by the lovely Kate who was amazing! She was so kind and thoughtful in how she treated me and my family - providing advice and helping me feel comfortable and relaxed. We have just had a back to back bridal and bridesmaids appointment with Rachel at the Birmingham store and can not be more positive about our experience and the service given! From the moment we stepped in the door we felt welcome and it was immediately apparent we were in a safe environment. Throughout the appointment Rachel was helpful, kind and offered great advice. Every staff member we came into contact with from entering were approachable and had a wealth of knowledge to give including the store manager who kept popping over in our appointment to check in, help and give guidance. I couldn’t recommend DB more, if you haven’t already booked please do and request Rachel if you can!
Only giving 2 stars because the end result of the dress was nice, but the process to getting to it was very stressful and not a fun experience.We booked an appointment approx 4months before our wedding for a bridesmaid dress - we only had 1 bridesmaid (couldnt get an appointment any earlier because everything was shut due to covid) when we arrived we were told to pick the dresses that we liked and could try them on etc, we did that and headed to the changing room. halfway through our allocated assistant left us because she also had to serve another bridal party at the same time, the other party was quite big and the poor lady was run off her feet, which left us waiting around to ask questions, and when we did, she couldnt seem to answer them, had to go and ask someone else and then seemed to forget to come back to tell us because she was also dealing with other bridal party. After trying on all 5 dresses, deliberating which one we all liked, felt more comfortable, trying on the ones we liked again and cutting them down to the 2 we liked, we were told that they could only get 1 dress that we had picked in time for our wedding (and it wasnt one that we liked).So then felt like a bit of a waste of time. our bridesmaid wanted sleeves so the lady bought in another dress and said they could add sleeves on. Tried the dress on, our bridesmaid liked it - just needed a few alterations and agreed that they would put the sleeves on. The dress was off the rack that they could sell to us, but there was no reduction in the price and i wasnt even told the price of the material or explained to the process of how much theyll need etc, just presented with a price at the counter. We took it home and was told that we had to phone to make another appointment to put the sleeves on when they arrived. i then got an email a few weeks later saying the material for the sleeves had arrived. I phoned to make the appt. The lady didnt seem to understand what i was asking and put me on hold for around 25minutes. someone else then answered and asked if I was Victoria... i said no and had to explain the whole thing again. she eventually booked the appt for me. We went back and they didnt seem to know what we wanted and had to explain again. it eventually got sorted and we booked in for 2 weeks before the wedding to have a final fitting. On the day of the final fitting i then got a phone call asking if i had meant to order a different colour sleeve to the actual dress, which of course i did not and was originally told that the colour would be a perfect match. not sure what colour they had ordered, but they assured me that they had the correct material and could do it in time for the appt which was around 6hr away. When we got to the fitting it was all correct, but i do wonder why I paid to have material specially ordered in for it to not have been used and for them to say they already had material at the shop that they could use. It really was incredibly stressful and Im glad we only had 1 bridesmaid. For the price we paid for the dress and alterations, the service was awful and I would not recommend.

Went into the the Birmingham store and it was the best experience ever! As soon as I walked in, the gentlemen at the front desk was super helpful and friendly which just got me excited for the rest of my appointment! Paige was my stylist for the day and she couldnt be lovelier. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and suggested some beautiful gowns. An absolutely beautiful store with friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was lovely and was everything I hoped for shopping for bride and bridesmaid dresses. The dresses were of a great quality with a wide selection of colours, fabrics and styles to suit all. Our stylist, Katie, was very knowledgeable and able to advise on what best suited each person, she could not have done more for us. Overall an amazing experience, cannot wait to go back to find the last of the bridesmaids dresses!
Sales managers or whatever they’re called, the employees who checked on me every few minutes were pressuring me and asking every few minutes what I want to do now, so that jas affected my experience in the store, however KATE was a star, I loved how she was giving me honest opinions and was very supportive and kind, enthusiastic and she found a solution for every problem I raised. She is the best and I recommend her to any bride.

We came to David’s Bridal today and we were greeted with a warm welcome and introduced to our stylist Amy. We actually have found our bridesmaids their dresses and we are very happy with the choices! There is an array of colour choices here at David’s Bridal which helped us choose the colour we thought best fits our day. It doesn’t match our colour scheme exactly, but purple is a hard colour to match. Amy our stylist was helpful, but at times we felt she needed to do more to help our bridesmaids feel and look as beautiful as they could. We also were after a particular colour which had been discontinued, so we were disappointed with this but appreciate not much could be done about it. A overall good experience and would recommend to brides seeking bridesmaid dresses!
This shop is amazing. I was a bridesmaid at a wedding yesterday and there was a disaster with the brides wedding dress 1 hour before the wedding. In a rush myself and the other bridesmaids made a rush for the nearest bridal shop which was Davids bridal. We called ahead to explain our situation and Lydia was there waiting to greet us. She helped us find a new dress for the bride and also travelled back to our hotel room with us. With 2 different size dresses and helped us get the bride ready in record time and get to the wedding with minutes to spare. Lydia was absolutely amazing and we could not of done it without her. Wonderful experience with our stylist Charlotte (Lottie). She was so polite and friendly whilst making us all feel at ease. Charlotte had great knowledge of the different styles of dresses and gave great advice. Looking forward to seeing her upon returning to the shop to collect our dresses!
I was extremely nervous about my first bridal appointment but from the moment I walked through the door, Shirin was an absolute dream ❤️ We walked the floor with my mum and bridesmaids so she could explain the different styles and designers to me, and then we began my appointment. She was so professional, personable and kind - I could not have wished for a better stylist. Despite just planning to try some different styles and buy my dress in a few months, I walked away with my dream dress and was so happy with how the day went. I had an amazing experience shopping for my wedding dress with my mum and two bridesmaids. Rachel was there to assist me through my appointment - they were so lovely and friendly, giving great advice and understanding what styles suited me and what I was envisioning for my dress. Met Lydia the consultant at David’s a month ago and she went through the rails and stockroom to help me find a dress which was a bit different to the usual and also within my reduced budget. When I had a change of mind a few days later she kindly helped me return it without feeling bad and when I changed my mind again (crazy I know) and went back for it cos I couldn’t stop thinking about it, she helped locate it again and gave me plenty of time and space to try it again and be sure. Top service from Lydia and also Bethany who really helped me be happy with my decision and went above and beyond to do so even I was a nervous and undecided bride to be. Thanks for understanding guys, I LOVE my dress!

The staff that work in this shop provide you with the best possible experience: they are incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I shopped for my dress in their store in Birmingham yesterday and Kate was just amazing. I was really nervous going in and, though I had a rough idea of what I wanted, I didn’t feel particularly confident and a bit ‘in over my head.’Kate instantly put me at ease. She asked me lots of questions and, from the answers I gave, directed me towards two-three dresses that she thought I might like. This helped instantly as I was then able to gauge whether this was actually the style I was after or whether I would be open to trying something else! I actually ended up purchasing a dress that was completely different to what I thought I would get and it was absolutely stunning. Kate was patient and supportive. I was able to flit backwards and forwards between the dresses that I had picked out, trying them on numerous times. I was even able to ask for other types of dresses while I was standing in another dress! Nothing was too much trouble. I really can’t recommend it enough!!
I visited Davids bridal as a last minute desperate attempt to find a wedding dress which I needed to wear in 2 weeks time and the service here was just excellent. Shirin was fantastic all the way throughout. She went above and beyond to try and accommodate my wishes and found me several beautiful options. The time we spent there just went by so swiftly and with ease! Definitely recommend.

I went to David’s bridal last Saturday with the hopes of finding my perfect wedding dress.Leanne was assigned to help me and she was absolutely incredible. She listened to everything I asked for and bought out so many gorgeous dresses for me to try on.The last dress was the charm & I said yes!All of the staff members were just wonderful and made us feel so welcome. A huge shout out to Kate and Lydia who not only helped me find my perfect wedding dress but also happily facilitated me trying it on again without an appointment. I found the perfect dress and it was on sale I couldn’t have asked for anymore.
I recently went to Davids Bridal in Birmingham. Lydia was amazing, she made me and my family feel comfortable and at ease. This was my 1st ever dress appointment so wasnt sure what to expect, but I had the best experience. I didnt purchase a dress at that time as I had booked other shops to look at different dresses. However, my heart was set on 1 dress from my 1st appointment with Lydia, so I went back a few weeks later. Lydia still made me feel special and went above and beyond to help me find accessories to go with the dress I liked.

I visited David’s Bridal store to find my wedding dress. It was my first and only experience trying on wedding dresses as I found the perfect dress! My assistant Kate was fantastic and really listened to what I wanted. She made me feel at ease, gave really practical advice and made me feel so special. Would highly recommend this store as all the other staff were so lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door.
Helena is a complete star! It is fair to say my daughter and I were absolutely dreading prom dress shopping in equal measure. Neither of us are particularly girly and clothes shopping usually ends in tears. It turned out to be a really enjoyable experience.Helena was helpful but not pushy and lovely to chat with and made really great suggestions and was helpfully honest. She really put my daughter at total ease and we did not feel rushed in anyway. Once she understood what my daughter wanted she hunted down the perfect dress.The store and fitting rooms are really spacious and well lit too which helps immensely. The store was also scrupulously clean and all the staff made you welcome. I genuinely thought from the feel and look of the store when i walked in that it would be super expensive but it it really wasnt.We came away with a gorgeous Vera Wang dress at an unbelievable price and pretty shoes she can walk in.I will definitely be back for my next formal dress!Thank you!!!
UPDATE EDIT: I wanted to keep my previous review here but I have amended my rating. Kelly from the alterations department contacted me after this review and offered to fix my dress for me. I went in that afternoon and she was really helpful and attentive. She made swift work of what was probably a lot of alterations. The dress is now so much nicer, the puckering is gone, and actually fits me better, she and her team did an amazing job. Thank you Kelly!Really bad experience in my final dress fitting. Firstly they had to change my appointment time because they had double booked me with another bride initially. When it was time for my appointment they were running 15 minutes behind which meant to I had only 15 minutes before store closing to try on my dress. I had some concerns regarding some puckering at the seams of my corset which were very visible. This puckering wasnt present on the dress when I had tried it on previously, nor was it present on the same dress of different sizes. When I asked about it I was told it was just to allow movement and not a bad job on their part, and my concerns dismissed without even a close inspection. The whole time I was there it felt like I was being hurried out of the door. This is a shame, the whole process of buying my dress had been nice, but the most important part Davids bridal really disappointed. I paid a lot of money for alterations and feel that I should get more than this
Highly recommend this store ...all the consultants are lovely helpful and smiley ..Georgia who helped me was fab ..I said yes to my dress 😊🤣...the only negative is I would of preferred a few more dresses in some darker colors like Black and Navy as shown on the US site and also was a shame that they had run out of garment bags (which you pay for ) but Georgia did still cover my dress for me ...the store was so clean bright and plenty of space ...my experience was very positive and would defo recommend any bride bridesmaid or mother of the bride to pay here a visit .
There with daughter to buy her a couple of pairs of wedding shoes. Really helpfull staff. Young lady who helped knew her stuff regards half sizes and shoe styles. Thank you.
We went in to find two bridesmaid dresses and were admittedly very unsure what we wanted or where to even begin to shop. Kate was the shop assistant who helped us and she was lovely to engage with. She helped us work through everything we wanted and came up with choices that worked perfectly for what we wanted. All around a fantastic experience. Thanks Kate!! :)
Had a fantastic experience at Davids Bridal Birmingham yesterday. If youre looking for a more chilled and calm environment, the store will suit you perfectly. You could take your time to look around the store at all of the options, and it was so relaxed when trying on dresses. It was lovely to be able to have time to think without feeling time pressured. My bridal assistant Kate was so kind and helpful - I would really recommend her for your appointment. Kate was really welcoming and made me feel so much calmer as it can be quite overwhelming! I said yes to my dress and I was so happy; thanks so much!
We had a bridesmaid dress appointment today and the stylist was 20 minutes late. We had booked two appointments so had the ability to try 12 dresses. After 40 minutes the stylist left us and said she had a bridal appointment waiting. So we were left alone and decided to get dressed and leave. I felt because we weren’t in there to buy a wedding dress she wasn’t bothered at all
I was made to feel at ease and had a fun time with the guidance of Kate (Birmingham branch) who was most friendly and knowledgeable in helping me find the perfect dress for me. Ive ordered the dress today and look forward to seeing my dress next year!
David’s Bridal had a vast amount of bridesmaid dresses, in various styles and colours. Sadly, like most bridal shops in not many sizes.Some of the dresses, for me personally did not feel good, solid or nice quality and the one dress I did find was quite expensive for the quality (which wouldn’t have stopped me from buying the dress for my four bridesmaids) but sadly it just didn’t work with my style wedding dress.For me, I didn’t get the dresses from here but that’s just because I could t find anything for my bridesmaids. However, the style and choice is amazing and if you’re not fussy (I am) then this shop is for you.
I came as a bridesmaid with my friend and our consultant Shirley was honestly amazing, everyone there was so kind and made you feel comfortable always! I loved my time there so much.
I had my appointment on 22/05/21 at the Birmingham, England store. My assistant was Shirin and she was absolutely amazing!Thank you for helping me find my dream dress and for giving me the confidence I needed during my appointment to feel comfortable and special. I highly recommend going to David’s Bridal for your wedding dress (bridesmaid) needs. I went hoping but panicking we wouldn’t find something for all four bridesmaids but was thankfully mistaken. It was easy, comfortable and a true pleasurable experience. We all walked away with huge smiles and a buzz. Amie was fantastic, knowledgeable and supportive considering there were four bridesmaids she quickly came up with a plan and it worked. All of the girls are extremely happy with their choice and honestly over having so much choice as well. My mum even found an outfit and the girls chose some accessories too. Thank you so much for everything.
I went to the shop in Birmingham and I loved it, Rachel (the stylist) was amazing she listened to what I liked and help me with everything. I tried all the dresses I wanted and she even brought more, in less than an hour I had found my dress,it was just perfect!!

I went with my bridesmaids the other weekend to get their dresses having already been before with my maid of honour to shortlist some. The team were very accommodating and friendly, it was a shame we couldnt have our original stylist Lydia but equally Georgia (I believe) was very helpful. My only gripe was they didnt have enought variety of sample sizes, despite me giving the girls sizes in the first appointment. Ultimately I do recommend Davids Bridal, they have a good selection of styles and colours and we did find a dress for everyone.
Wow! What a day.. been to David’s Bridal-Birmingham today to find the perfect dress for my mother in laws 50th birthday party and I can not recommend these guys enough! After a seamstress from Worcester destroyed her original dress she now is full of smiles after going to David’s Bridal.A special thanks to Kate, Lydia and Dean for making us feel so special!

I just went to explore what’s there for my son’s weeding and ended buying two dresses for me and my daughter . Lovely dresses at good price. The service was really good . It would have been great to help us with alterations but no available slots. I do understand it is a bridal stain following ease of lock down.thanks
