I’d rename it to Stinch. It smells like cigarettes and sadness in there. Not cigars. Next day and my hair smells horrible. They need to fix their ventilation. Real cigar lounges don’t stink.

I will never ever spend a penny in Aromas! Tonight I had a good friend come from New Orleans to visit and brought him to have a cigar and drinks. He wore his Gulf War Veteran Hat and two other friends wore a ball caps as well. We bought cigars and drinks and were having an enjoyable time sitting at the bar. A young man came up after we sat there for over 2 hours and told my friends that they had to remove their ball caps because of a dress code. There was no signage stating that Hats were not allowed. I said to him that we didn’t see any signs and asked why he waited until we were there for two hours before telling us. He said either take the hats off or leave. I said do you realize how much money we’re spending and we have open tabs? He said “take the hats off and he didn’t care how much we were spending” and walked off after my friends took their hats off. Shortly afterwards a very polite man said, I’m sorry we have to take the seats from the bar. The last gentleman was polite and while it was ridiculous I at least respected his approach.I repeat, I will never ever spend another penny in Aromas. The staff are absolutely disrespectful!

Great steak. It was well worth the wait. I love a good great a medium steak!! Chef and owner have outdone themselves with this steak!!

Great service - lots of bartenders. Two rooms with different music, and a VIP lounge. Theyre drinks are pricey, but they pour heavy! They have hookahs available.The VIP lounge is where you want to be!

Aromas is a nice cigar lounge with Awesome seevices and well-made drinks to entice your cigar to the max. Spacious seating and lounge area outside......Nice!!

They have a dress code for men which I like. Whats the point in me getting all dolled up if the men can come in wearing sweats? They have a food menu with a drink menu which i liked and the drinks were reasonably priced for a late night spot. All and all, a good night.

I visited here from Houston and met the manager Reggie, and he is the most gracious host and made me feel welcome in the venue. The service is excellent and so are drinks and atmosphere. I will most definitely return here whenever I come to JAX.

This is an excellent adult chill spot. You definitely can unwind and listen to great music..good drinks..awesome cigars..and better people. The man who showed me my cigar was amazing. As a novice at cigar play...He showed me how to cut and light. I will be a regular now.

This is a great chill spot with a live band. The vibe here is grown folks. They gave, cigars, hookah, drinks they even have lockers for rent for those serious cigar smokers. I so think you can have a membership here.

I live in metro Atlanta area but frequent Aromas often while visiting Jacksonville. Kim is my favorite bartender, absolutely awesome sauce! Love the ambiance and camaraderie.

I don’t leave bad or good reviews but this one was justified. I went here two days in a row. First day it took 10 minutes to help with cigar selection. The staff seem like the don’t care or can care less and have 0 customer skills. I really liked their humidor so I returned the second day. Guess what? Same nasty cold shrug treatment almost to the point where they don’t want my business? Not sure how they stay in business. Definitely not a place to go if respect, courtesy, care and basic customer service is expected. You will none of that here. Advice to management is to evaluate the poor reviews and train staff or hire staff that has experience.

Great place for handmade cigars but missing a few big brands of cigars

Been here before for their stogie fest event and looking forward to the next one. Was here Saturday and was very disappointed that they were charging a 10.00 cover just to walk in. I am usually good to drop at least 100.00 between cigars and drinks where ever I end up. Was told becomes a night club which I was looking for a cigar and some good whiskey and not a night club. Disappointing. Especially after driving from Orlando.

I just ate probably the best cheeseburger Ive ever had at a restaurant. Love the ambiance and comfortable seating. Jeff is a phenomenal bartender. I was the GM of a restaurant for 6 years and was highly impressed. They were short staffed and he rocked it while be cheerful and entertaining! The prices are great too. We will absolutely be back!!!

Aromas is in a great part of town adjacent to the St. John’s Towncenter. It is nicely decorated and it offers private club for members in addition to the main seating area for guests. The staff is very friendly but the prices are a bit steep, as to be expected for the area that it’s in. I went to this place on a Friday evening. The music was rather loud for my taste and seemed to have a very “urban” vibe which was contrary to the typical mature and relaxed environment that many cigar aficionados tend to appreciate. So if that’s what you’re looking for then you may want to consider going during the day.

I actually like this place. Very grown, no young nonsense to deal with..Not over crowded...Only thing is that cigar smoke is choking when people smoke. Other than that, I really like it!

I attened this weekend the StogieFest 2021 in Jacksonville, Fl. My very first fest. What a huge disappointment!! The pre event turned into a huge hookah party for kids my son age. If you did not purchase a VIP ticket you would have been subjected to the chaos on Friday and Saturday night. People who have attended in the past said they would not be back to the fest. Vip ticket holders received no vip treatment. Drink prices were through the roof. Utterly unreal. The owner choose money over the love for real cigar lovers. I will say Sunday redeemed itself a little instead of a 0 review I will give the fest a 1 star. It was not a lot of vendors maybe 20. The day turned out to be just ok. . more grown folks and kept the young hookah crowd from taking over. I haven’t given up on attending more cigar festivals but I will not return to this one. Somebody needs to educate them on what comes with a VIP ticket. What a horrible experience.

Age group was not in my range for salsa. I’m 34.This place deserves a broken down rating.The cigar side is nice. It’s a cigar lounge with a nice humidor. Nice selection for cigars. Friendly staff.The dance room is nice also. DJ playing music of all Latin types; salsa, merengue, and bachata. Nice sound system and DJ lights.Overall it’s a nice place. I just didn’t enjoy the crowd.Seems like Jacksonville doesn’t have much of a salsa following or culture. But if you bring the party this place could very well be a great time.

Was visiting Jacksonville, saw this place. When we arrived we were charged $20, I dont even think they checked our ID 🤷🏾‍♂️. Nobody offered us a cigar which was the reason I went, the big security dude was eating a turkey sandwich or something. Sat at the bar, the bartender was nice but sarcastic. She looked like Sommore the comedian. We had two drinks and left. Music was newschool boo boo. I was disappointed. Two thumbs down.

I wanted to love this place but I just cant give it more than 3 stars. They charged us to visit. Very confusing but we paid it and went in. Then more money for cigars. We found a table and relaxed near the bar. You have to get drinks at the bar or at least we assumed that as we did not see anyone taking orders during our 2 hour visit.A band came in about 5 minutes before we left but I cannot comment on the music as we left before they got started.Pros: drinks were good, service at bar good, several TVs and during our visit that was the only real highlight. Very laid back great crowd.Cons: Too expensive. Still not sure why we had to pay to enter. Not a big room very tight as tables are close together. Overall in just over 2 hours with entry fee, 2 cigars and drinks we were well over $100.Not worth it. We still prefer Island Girl

Lets just say I will definitely be back to this establishment. I called to make an reservation for my husbands birthday celebration and upon arrival there was a problem that could have ruined the whole night ... but thanks to everyone, especially C- Wright (the manager on duty) he stepped in and made everything alright. My husband and his friends enjoyed the celebration. Drinks were on point, wings were fire especially the garlic parmesan, atmosphere( especially the VIP room) was Amazing, music was great on both sides whatever float your boat and the top of the top was the cigars. We Will DEFINITELY be returning guests. Things happen but how we deal with them shows character and after last night Aromas have captivated my attention by the level of professionalism demonstrated.

Like a hidden gem yet out in the open in a place I would never expect here. Def. want more fun places like this. Lots of great music and DJ with some pretty good mixes. Was feeling the vibe at this place with lots of dancing. Spanish music was playing when I went and there were so many people on the dance floor. I’m not one for the cigars and all but I can get through that to have an awesome time with everyone there. I think there was a bachelorette party going on there too 😆. Who doesn’t like to have fun and dance in a wonderful spot in Jax!

Was in Jacksonville for a day and stopped by this bar twice. It has a great atmosphere, it’s cozy and quaint. The bartender Natania (forgive my spelling) was friendly and attentive. The late night regulars accepted me as one of their own. Any time I’m in Jacksonville, I will be stopping by. The only thing causing the missing star is the selection of cigars. It was a bit scant, but I understand it’s hard to carry so much product. Great place!

Im not one to normally leave bad reviews, however.... I went to Aromas 07 Aug 2019 to have a drink and a cigar with a friend of mine. They checked our Ids took our drink orders and walked away. While I was choosing a cigar the manager, very rudely, accused us of being underage. Both of us are of drinking age. He then proceeded to check my friends ID again. No problem right? Well instead of apologizing and wishing us a good evening he throws the ID back on the table and walks off. When I asked him to apologize to her for speaking in the tone he did he then asked if I wanted to take it outside. I took him up on his offer but he ran behind a little counter with his bouncers. We left and had a whiskey drink elsewhere.
