Was MOST helpful. Local dealerships had wait time of 30 days or more to repair my completely disabled truck. Called Gwatney and was informed that it could be looked at and repaired immediately. Got truck repaired in one day and was back on the road. Shout out to Natasha and Matt for their excellent customer service and commitment to taking care of the customer!

I had a great experience with the service department. I had a bad experience with another dealership where they tried to find a reason to charge me instead of just fix the recall that I was promised. So since they didn’t fix it, I found myself at Gwatney Chevrolet in hopes to get it fixed for good. It was like a night and day experience. This dealership got me in quickly, and it took less than an hour to get my car fixed. They drove me home, picked me up, and didn’t treat me as any less of a priority with it being a free service as they would anyone else. Everyone was super friendly as well.

If I could give zero stars I would. I will never bring my car to Gwatney again. Terrible terrible service they provide. I took my 2016 Malibu to them 2 weeks ago due to condensation inside my front windshield. That was the only issue I had. Come to find out water leaked in my car. They fixed that issue. Well I noticed after the rain last week my car had an extremely foul odor. Almost unbearable. I let the windows down to air it out. On Saturday I went to the car wash and noticed water was coming through both my panels in the back. The panels were loose. I also had condensation on the back window. None of these were an issue for me prior to two weeks ago. Gwatney messed up car and are not being honest about it. They are trying to blame that issue on a car accident I had 4 years ago. They messed my car up when they attempted to seal it 2 weeks prior. I had to pay $431.42 for this repair, which Im not happy about. I have been a customer since 2014. I no longer trust them and the customer service in the service dept is awful. They give a you are bothering me vibe and wont even acknowledge you. Taking my business elsewhere.

Gwatney has yet to fail me on my service or sales. Most everyone can get it “right” every once in a while, but Gwatney has been spot on every single time I have dealings with them. I will never come back to this place everything was great while checking out my 29% interest rate was horrible, but I went ahead with the purchase of a car. I asked them several times if I had gap insurance my mother came with me and asked as well they told us both that I had it. Skip forward to today. I got in a car accident I called them to double check and they tell me I don’t have it. Sales person told me there was nothing I could do and he didn’t know what I could do. His exact words “i don’t know what you can call chuck or something I don’t sell gap insurance” now I’m the one that’s stuck in a bind.

We broke down on a long trip from Kentucky to Texas, and our truck was taken to Gwatney Cheverolet for service. Natasha in the service department , as well as our technician, Mike, did an amazing job! We were under a time crunch, and needed a new transmission. Not only did they get that ordered quickly, and get it fixed within a few days, but Natasha and the staff went the extra mile. They located hotels for us across the street, used the courtesy vehicle to get us there, kept us informed all along on the progress and checked in with us to make sure we didnt need anything during our unexpected stay there and even personally checked on us after we got on the road, We were very blessed to have been connected with Natasha , Mike, and Gwatney Chevrolet and I am very very thankful!

By far the worst experience when it comes to the service department. Had an appointment at 1000, I showed up 30 minutes early to ensure timely service. Told them the issue with muffler. They took the car back close to 1045. I waited for more than an hour and a half then I had to track down the representative to find out what the issue was. He finally showed up and said you are probably better off going to a muffler shop. Really!?!?! Two hours for them to tell me to go somewhere else? Wow!

Had an appointment at 3:30 for an oil change . Showed up between 3:15-3:20, truck never moved for at least 30-45 minutes. Oil change was finally completed at 5:30. Never once did anyone come tell me that there was a delay or why it was going to take 2 hours for an oil change.

Not happy with this place total rip off . Went to see what they had and of course hounded by sales. They are short on cars like 20 cars total . We we just gonna see what our 17 Altima would bring and they offered more than the car was worth. Great so we have equity in the car . So we weee looking at a 16 Tahoe they want 30k for it with 100000 plus miles on it. Not to bad . So we mentioned the truth in lending law. And they kinda flipped out. . So later that day they tell me owe they want $4500 to do the application yeah whatever I wasn’t born yesterday. Long story short they want reply to yiu they won’t call you back. If you try the truth in lending law they change the words up to make is SOUND like a loan fee. . This will definitely be the last time I go here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They are not freindly at all

This morning I got up to go to work and my car wouldnt start. I called roadside and when they got there, we got the car started. I drove it to Gwatney Chevrolet. I knew I didnt have an appointment and I was late for work. When I got there, they were already busy at 7:30a.m. However, Natasha came to see about me and I explained my problem to her. She was very nice. She asked Mike, the technician if he could look at my car. He did and determined I needed a battery. They got me fixed up and on the road within the hour. Drove 30 mins to this place after the sales guy telling us he could get us into a car, ran my credit with 10 different bank/ lenders total, said we were approved. Took a turn after he said we weren’t approved for the loan anymore and that we’re required to put 3k down instead of the no money down/ sales tax included deal we originally had. wasted 3 hours there just to be told they couldn’t do anything anymore for us expect put us in an overpriced sedan with 40k miles on it. We went in and had our minds set on an new SUV with 15 miles on it. What a joke.

She was in constant contact with me via text, calls and even video conferences. She handeld the delivery of my vehicle and made me feel safe thru the entire process. I will say that they are quick to get you in, which was amazing. They test drove my car and offered me a little more than I thought, also great.However, we sat in the dealer office for 2.5 hours. The sales rep came to us an hour in letting us know we were approved for a new car (also great), until 30minutes later to be told we have to put 3k down. The day after they were so busy that apparently they could not keep communication and could not tell me what exactly I was financed for. Later that day, I was told I was approved for a 2017 Altima.. before calling to ask me if that vehicle Interest me. I called explaining that’s not what I’m looking for, asking for the finance department. I mean NO ONE called me back for hours and no one answered the phone. * I am not saying they weren’t trying to help me*. Later the sales rep called me back, I explained I seen other vehicles on the website for nearly the same price that I would be more interested in. The sales rep replied “we can’t run it again or it will knock your offer out for the Altima”. Okay, I did not want the Altima. Regardless, I explained to him that I was honest from the beginning and just asked the same.His reply: “ I’m going to be honest, they tell me to tell you things to get you to come in and to do what they want”This left me feeling disgusted and was such a waist of time. LUCKILY, I will use the offer given to leverage me at another Local dealer with a much LARGER selection of vehicles.Communication and honest/ Integrity are huge you guys.....

We have been there twice. The first time to have oil change and tire rotation; it took almost 3 hours. The last time was this past Friday. We scheduled an appt for 10:30am for safety recall and to check a rattle coming from the dash or steering column. We got there at 9:555am.At 11:15 I saw the truck in the lot. After inquiry they stated the recall work had been done but was waiting for someone to ride with the service technician. After going back an hour later, the truck had not been moved. I was told (rudely) to expect to be there all day and that it takes time. If this is the case then what is the point of making an appt and why werent we told that when we scheduled the visit?The sales department is good but I will not be going back for service. Please remove me from your mailing/email list.

I was very hesitant on going to this car dealership, due to what Ive heard in the past. Im glad that I didnt allow hearsay to effect my decision on visiting Gwatney Chevrolet in Jacksonville. Ive been looking and wanting a car for a very long time, and was disappointed each time I would try to get one from other dealerships. From the time I spoke to Cheryl on the phone and came into the dealership that day, I was treated with outstanding customer service from the beginning till the end. Long story but, Short story for readers, I was Blessed to get a car, with no money down and with payments I could afford to pay. But the most amazing part was when I spoke to the finance manager Caleb Morris and he was able to get my payments a bit lower than what they said at first. I was very grateful and Thanking God for this Blessing. So, I highly recommend you to visit Gwatney Chevrolet in Jacksonville for your next car purchase. I called Gwatney Chevrolet for an appointment to check a recall notice I received in the mail on my 2019 Chevy Cruze. I was able to arrange an appointment convenient for me. My car was checked in and the recall seen about at the arranged time. The service was quick and the wait reasonable and comfortable. As far as recommending the dealership to friends or family, I dont have any family in Central Arkansas and would not expect any family to travel here to do business with Gwatney. I also would not be comfortable recommending a car dealership to coworkers. However, if a local friend asked my opinion on car dealerships, I would give a favorable assessment of Gwatney Chevrolet.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting a young lady named Natasha today! We shared a moment of grief, as she had just been notified that one of the employees there, had passed away, and I had just been notified just prior to coming to the dealership, that my uncle had passed away. I pulled up to Gwatney Chevorlet this morning for quite a few services needed on my suburban expecting an extended stay, boy was I wrong! The receiver hitch was still scratched up from the accident and there was a paint blemish on the tail gate that should have been addressed before pick up. I pointed it out but didn’t want to go Thru the hassle. If this would have been Halters body shop in Conway AR. These issues wouldn’t have been there.

I advised Joshua I think that was his name who I spoke with and I advised him of what I was looking for and what I wasn’t looking g for !! He advised me that he would put me In Touch with Johnny Crosby, he called me and asked me to come to the dealership !! To make a long study shirt I ended up with a newer vehicle than I expected and with no hassle and not being in the dealership for a long period of tine!! Was having problems with my rig and no one I called could even see my truck for three days but,when I called gwatney and spoke with Natasha Johnston in service she guaranteed me they could get me in to diagnose my problems within the hour! When I got there they diagnosed my truck with lifter problems. I was in a bad spot traveling across the country and had two dogs and was towing a trailer with my motorcycle on it and could not wait to get it fixed. They didnt have a rig that was in my budget but,natasha knew a friend who had some used rigs that were in my budget range and made a call to them to try to help me out. Recently had to take our Colorado we purchased there, back for a couple of warranty repairs (coolant leak and transmission shudder). As we live about 2 1/2 hours away and I knew repairs were probably going to take most of the day, I came prepared with a good book. I arrived about 30 minutes early for my appointment and Natasha in the Service department came out to me right away in the drive. She took down my information and got truck in shop. She showed me the customer waiting area and where the coffee pot was (a priority with me). Several times throughout the day, she checked with me and updated progress on truck. She also offered me the use of a vehicle several times throughout the day, but as I was comfortable, I declined. She also recommended the fried pie place a block away for lunch and happy to say her recommendation was spot on! Natasha was extremely friendly, courteous and professional. Technician that worked on the truck (I didnt get his name) even took the time to clean the anti-freeze residue off the front of the engine and engine cover, so it looked like a new truck again under the hood! Happy to report that both issues were resolved with my truck and it runs/drives like a new one again. Kudos to Gwatney staff for running a tight ship that takes care of their customers!
