I booked an Ulta hair cut for the first time online today and it was super easy. My stylist Chantalle was so fun and she cut my hair perfectly! I have thick dry frizzy hair and when I left my hair had tons of shine softness and volume; I can’t stop touching it! 😍 My hair usually takes forever to dry but she’s a whizz at blow drying! I even bought one of the products she recommended. I’ll definitely be back and I hope Chantalle is available!Update 10/27/21Chantalle did it again! I booked online and I came in after work for a quick blowout since I have a work event tomorrow; shampoo and blow out in 30 min and then she gave me curls. 😊 I added new pics! I am so grateful I can come in and count on great conversation and touchable hair. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Staff is super friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back. Got tons of info and got my eyes on products that I want....but still need help so Ill definitely go back

I was there 2 days ago with my mom and my mother in law. Lauren helped us from the Lancome section. She was absolutely helpful, she helped all 3 of us to find the right shade of foundation and concealer. She also educated me on fine lines and how to treat them. She gave us foundation samples to try. I have tried it once only so far and really love how the shade 420 matches my skin so well. Feels like she convinced me to convert from Mac to Lancome. Highly recommend to talk to Lauren for any skin help needed

The store is always dirty, unorganized and out of stock of everything. I can’t ever find my shade in any products. Today was just too much, I will definitely be traveling farther to a better maintained store.

I’ve always loved coming to this Ulta since it was the first ever Ulta I ever entered, the staff has always been so friendly and accommodating, no fuss ever when I have to do an exchange of return and the store is usually stocked up on products regardless I mainly shop online but when it comes to any type of customer service, they’re always my go to. Thank you for all that you do! ❤️

Customers make such a mess in here. I feel sorry for the workers because the customers are such a mess. Put things back where they came from people! Other than that, the store is well kept and customer service is very helpful. Irving is lucky to have this store nearby. Its convenient and rather than trekking all the way to Timbuktu at Sephora or online purchasing.

Got a gift card for Christmas and I finally got to use it even those I went way over what was on the card. Lol. Anyway, I got to the teasers by the checkout and seen this mascara and I really wanted to try it and Lamondre talked me into it. I did and Im so glad I did. Love it

Got my hair cut by a wonderful woman named chantalle she did a great job my hair looks great she talked to me the whole time she was very sweet and she took me last minute I would recommend

I can usually find what Im looking for (an obscure recommendation from a friend or esthetican haha). But the store employees dont always know what Im talking about (its also hard to enunciate through masks). This could be helped if the store was organized more intuitively - I was looking for wax aftercare, was directed to skincare, but after wandering EVERY aisle, found it next to nail care- so weird.

Very nice service, very good advice for my daughter, they do have dermatologist, the day that we went..thanks to her we find the perfect product

I was greeted so warmly and friendly when I walked in. Got wonderful assistance, loved it. Very sweet, extremely helpful. Two things I did notice many misplaced items. I know shoppers pick thru items but good to be bit more organized and second thing. Long long wait. Took me three times to wait to pay than it took to park. Walk in store, find my nail polish. Why long wait during lunchtime?? Customers time is important too.

Everytime I walk into Ulta I am greeted by at least two employees. They do their very best at helping me with whatever I need and are very attentive. Customer driven for sure!

They are very nice people. Will help you with anything the only reason I gave 3 stars is because if you curbside pickup they will take forever to bring it out to you. Best option is to pickup in store it’s faster and they give it to you within a minute but curbside will take over 30 minutes.

Betsy does hair cut and hair styles really well.! I just loved my experience with her.! She was friendly and communicates really well.! She understands our expectations and gives her best.!! I totally loved my hair cut and had lot of compliments.! Thanks to Betsy.!

I went to the place for haircuts, Sarah did it for me. It was the first time I was in this Ulta salon branch, I had my haircut done in different Ulta but not this place. I showed a picture to her, first of all my hair didn’t come up with the same style I showed which I don’t really care about that, the problem is my haircut is completely uneven, in addition to that one side is longer than the other side... I even mentioned when I was sitting there, she didn’t care...Even at the end of haircut in the salon I found a piece that was not even touch and cut at all, it was 3 inches longer.. it seems she was tried and didn’t want to spend time on my hair... I’m not satisfied with the salon at all... I never come back to any Ulta salon because it was the worst experience I ever had in my life!

Salon is very horrible and rude. The lady who was cutting my hair was very unprofessional and was taking and not paying attention while cutting my hair leaving stands not cut and completely unsymmetrical. HORRIBLE COSTMER SERVICE!

I was in the store at checkout. An employee behind me tried to skip the line by telling every employee that walked by could you check me out? I am in a hurry. Well everyone is line was but we waited. Finally it was my turn at the register with Saba. The wipes I had ended up with make up on them so I asked for a new pack. Saba said I could go get them. 10 secs later I return to my register only to see that employee that was in a hurry being checked out. I then had to wait again for a register to open up. SABA HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This is a terrible salon don’t go here. They charged me $65 to trim my ends $ 95 for an all over hair color that kept staining my pillows, towels and clothes over the course of 3 weeks. They used cheap hair dye and they cancel your appointment all the time (Betsy) and never offer a solution and just schedule you 2 weeks out. Terrible management!

Would definitely give it 0 stars if I had a chance to. Horrible customer service!I made a complaint and one of their managers said that they would get back to me in 2 days. I waited about a week before calling them again. Someone else picked up the phone and they said the manager I spoke with isn’t in and she doesn’t know when the manager will next come in. I asked if there was another manager I can speak to and they said all managers are having their lunch and therefore unable to take my call. Finally, they said they would leave a message for the manager and get them to call me back but I’ve heard nothing at all. It’s now been months and I’ve been forgotten about.They overcharged me for my hair cut and I didn’t receive the full treatments that comes with the haircut.Will not be entering this store again nor will be spending anymore money if customers are being treated like this.

Im, as of lately, more of a Sephora person. But this Ulta was one of the best shopping experiences Ive had in a while. When I stepped in I was asked if there was anything I was in search for. I was this time, and stated so. I was taken right to the brand location and was asked if I needed any further assistance. I didnt at this point, but was glad for the option. The store was nice and clean, everyone was helping someone, and they were even about 10 minutes till closing, when most places tend to not help many people after that since its so late to the time to close up.

My first time in Ulta. Visited looking to try a new foundation other than Mac or MK. I wasted 25 minutes searching. Very few customers in the store. Approximately 5 employees were engrossed in conversation with no offer to assist and no greeting for any entering customers. Missed sale opportunity.

There was 4 clerks behind the counter and no one was helping customers. There was a line forming and still they did not attend to us. The cashier was complaining about someone leaving a soda can on the counter at which point another employee joined. Making it 5 employees behind the counter ignoring customers. They need to work on that.

I can say that 95% of the time I shop in store the customer service I receive while checking out is awesome. 5 minutes before closing time and Gabrielle went out of her way to make sure I utilized every opportunity to save money and was even willing to wait if I wanted to utilize the buy 2 get free.

Ive been to the Ulta hair salon many times before and this one was hands down my worst hair salon trip. I went it with long brown hair, wanted to cut quite a bit but still long with a brown to blonde ombré. I walked out with my hair over 3” shorter than what we agreed, and almost entirely blonde with no actually ombré. I was willing to let it slide as it was a new stylist, but once I got my receipt I noticed that she charged my for a styling even though I never ask and she never asked if I wanted it done. Completely disappointing and I will most certainly not be going back to this salon.

I had dyed my hair at home and came here to get it fixed with Betsy and she did a better job than i could’ve imagined! she was friendly and did her job well 10/10

Beautiful store full of adorable products. Lost a star because it is sometimes hard to find help. But, they are always helpful when available.

They are doing a GREAT job in the apocalypse. The employees are very nice. Inventory is low right now, you might want to order online for curbside pick up to ensure they have your item. Do your research online before you go, theres no time to browse.

Came 5/27 and they were closed at 6pm which was odd.

I was looking for liquid eyeliner, having never used one before I tried the first kind I came across, and it didnt meet my expectations. I needed something darker and a super smooth glide. I was able to get help from Hailey. She not only found the right kind for me, but also made it quick n easy.

Fantastic store, excellent employees! The salon at this particular Ulta is amazing. Jamie did an amazing job on my color, and Ive gotten multiple compliments within the last week. I have been in the area for three years and have finally found a salon I can trust with my hair. Very happy

I was disappointed at the ulta customer service. I don’t know if this black lady wearing black uniform is a security guard or associate? She just walks around like nothing to do. She’s rude and doesn’t know how to talk to the customer nicely. I understand we are facing a pandemic situation right now but you don’t have to be proud of yourself for who you are. I’m the customer and deserve to be treated in a nice way. I don’t know your position and I’m not interested to know what your position is in this store. By the way, your line for the customers to check out needs to change that arrow...you’re confusing the customers and it’s blocking at the register area and I don’t think there’s a social distancing that is supposed to be six feet apart.

I have the wrong delivery address and I need to update it on my online order, mind you there was not an option to review the order before i submitted it,I called customer service and the say all they can do is cancel the order. I lose my $15 coupon.No way i will get it back. No other option. I Cannot believe this. I am so disappointed. I love shopping at ULTA. I love earning points. I love getting coupons. Pricing is fair. I will probably not shop at there any longer. Customer service was NOT helpful gave me the its not my job attitudeEXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! Not that anyone would care but, i will be adding this to your already LONG list of bad reviews on Google and YELP and BBB.

Ive had a hard time finding a salon in Irving that I like and that doesnt charge me an arm and a leg. Since I go to Ulta for my beauty products, I decided to try out their salon. I was really impressed with Nathalie C., she did a great job on my color and trim. She also did a really nice blowout. I will definitely be back.

Went to get my daughters hair and makeup done for her quinceanera. Makeup was stellar, hair was done by two people who seemed surprised we had an appointment and the person who was on the appointment to do her hair wasnt there. So these 2 people attempted and it wasnt how she wanted and the curls lasted maybe 2 hours when they used a tapered wand. I did her hair with one for her pics a week before and they lasted 24 hours. Disappointed but the makeup lady was great.

Their prices cant be beat, the store boasts an incredible variety in all sections, and their beauty experts are always on hand for advice or consulting. The store includes a dedicated salon in the back, and my stylist Katy has been doing my hair for a couple of months now flawlessly. Their attention to detail and friendly service have me coming back for more. Definitely check it out if youve never been.

I love the store chain in general but this particular location is always lacking in inventory! They are always out of something Im looking for..my specific shade of foundation, my brand of felt tip eyeliner, blush palette, ect. I wish they kept better stock. Also, the checkout lines are always long.

I definitely prefer the Sephora staff better. The blonde lady at the cashier was so rude to the customer right in front of me. She clearly can’t care less about customer service. Thank god I didn’t have to deal with her. Both the cashiers cut you off mid sentence. Not going back.

Update 9/2020: I have been visiting the brow bar with Tatiana who does my brows and does an amazing job. I moved here about a year ago so finding someone I trusted was hard. She listens to what you want and gets it done. She’s been my brow gal for a little less than about a year now. Even when I need help with anything else within the store, she’s always helpful. All my recent experiences have been pretty good, greeted upon entry... which is a bit different from my initial experience and also a lot of other employees check in now :) so whatever you guys changed, keep it up!!3/2019: The store itself is neat but nobody checks in with you while shopping. I was at the lancome counter looking for something and the lady working the counter (who was not busy) didnt offer help or asked if I needed anything. I found what I needed but became annoyed by the customer service and decided just to leave.

Never has stock of shades needed. They really need to do better at ordering. Lots of outs and ALWAYS out of the 21 days of beauty stuff within the first hour.

Never ever go this place again.They lie to customer about the free gifts, which customer may get with the product.I asked three times about the free gift, lady said that its not available.And while making payment, I again inquired about free gift. That lady could not lie. So she gave me.But note, she gave free gift when I asked, not by herself.And first lady, she lied that gift is not available, and if u want gift then order online.Pathetic staff. I had a great experience here. I came to Kendra, based on a recommendation, to get my hair trimmed. She did a great job and gave me exactly what I wanted. Since moving to the area, I have put off getting my hair cut because I had a great stylist before and was nervous about returning to a cycle of getting bad hair cuts by trying different stylists. I will definitely be back to see Kendra and I highly recommend her!

Simeria has done my hair color and cut. She has always been professional and has done an awesome job. She was new when she started, and I was new to Irving. I loved what she did to my hair and I consider her a friend. I am so glad to see her as manager.

Victoria and Brandon were so helpful! It was Victoria’s second day and she went out of her way to assist me when the “birthday gift” e-mail didn’t hit my inbox. It’s a small gesture, but was very sweet of her! Props to Brandon for being a great leader and genuinely wanting to help - they both did.Very happy with their customer service and I hope corporate sees this and they get recognized for it! This Ulta has all the usual fare, but the associates watch you walk around and never offer a suggestion, greeting, or help you locate an item. (A little weird, based on my past experiences with other Ulta stores.)Im visiting on business and needed a travel size product and stopped in. The biggest hiccup was the checkout. Due to an IT glitch, they could not make sales or give receipts for any lucky sale that did make it through their frozen system. Shoppers got a bit miffed after waiting in line for awhile before finding this out and having to leave empty handed...not their fault, but definitely the situation didnt help the experience for sure!

I am giving Ulta in Irving a five because of the wonderful customer service I had with their manager today. I went on Sunday, February 10 a little after 12 noon to speak to the manager about a possible return. I had tried a product after talking to one of their employees, but it did not do well with my hair. I explained the situation to the manager and she very politely accepted the return and worked with me to get another product. I live 3 1/2 hours away and do not have an Ulta there, but I will say after how I was treated today, that there is a high chance of being a return customer and that I’ll tell others of my positive experience there.

This Ulta is HUGE! I had my hair done and all of the girls were so friendly, I quickly got over my anxiety of being around a lot of people I didn’t know! You should certainly check out the Irving Location it’s a big difference!

I loved this store but lately it seems like they do not have a lot in stock...the past 2 times I have went and they were out of the same product even though it says in stock online. I went to look at other dupes but they were out of those also. Granted, it is the drug store line of products but I wish they still have more stock!

If your looking for anything over priced come here for sure! If your looking for that perfect shade of makeup to finish your look, dont bother coming here, its likely not on the floor, if you dare as for help from an associate youll be sure to get an attitude and do better off on your own. Save your money, time, and sanity go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Ulta Beauty in Irving has a great selection of beauty products. Customer service - sales associates were assisting me as soon as I walked in the door and notified me of special gifts offered by makeup manufacturers. Patricia was especially helpful. I will be a long term customer.

Associates definitely need to work on their service. No one was available to assist. Cashier was not friendly at all. Felt very unwelcomed.

Get my hair done here, Grace is amazing! Been coming to the store part for about 4 years. The floor staff for the store part can be clueless. I have asked them for specific items I have checked to see if the store carries them AND if its in stock online, and have been told We dont carry that. Only to look for myself and find it. I have asked for recommendations for products and been directed to products that on the packaging will say its not for my concern that I just asked them for a product to address. This has happened so often I dont ask the staff for help. Please either train your staff, make a better working environment or give them a livable wage. They are checked out and it is probably due to one or all of these issues.

I went here looking to spend some money on a new brand but I had only done a little research so I wasnt sure what I needed. I stood in the isle for 10 minutes without anyone asking if I needed assistance. I finally asked someone if they could help and they said theyd call someone to help me. 10 more minutes and nobody came. the store is okay if you know what you need. the only time someone actually attempted helping me, they literally just read the back of the bottle to me.

Perfect location, not great from home with your makeup needs as well as perfume and hair products. This location has a salon and theres is always at least one makeup artist there

Ulta , Irving shop is a very good shop with reasonable prices , coupons & discounts but the STAR was the sales girl VICTORIA. She was super friendly & very helpful . She very patiently helped us in finding the right product for skin tones as we don’t have much knowledge on beauty products . She is the best sales girl I ever met . Thank you very much Victoria

Waited in the bare minerals section at the FRONT of the store for 10 minutes making eye contact with multiple employees.. also I was miss informed about the deals going on so I spent more money than I wanted and didn’t qualify for the deals. Not happy with the customer service.

This is a great location! It has great products and knowledgable staff! Very clean, and well organized.

I spend way too much time and money in this store but I love it!
