This place is terrible. I came in looking to sell my Pokémon cards. When I gave them my cards they took them to the back where I believe they swapped out some of my almost-mint condition cards for some bad, poorly handled cards. When they came back, they picked out about 15 cards and offered $64 for all of them which is greatly undervalued. I know these places buy low sell high but some of those cards were worth about $20 each. Also, when they came back and gave the cards back to me, my mint condition heracross (shown in pictures) looked like some 4-year-old messed with them. When I brought this up, they claimed none of the cards have been tampered with and refused to do anything about it. DO NOT GO HERE.

Meh. The employees were nice and the store was clean. However I did not like that they took my cards to the back to look through them and came back up front to give a price. That made me uncomfortable. Weve gone to other stores and they look through your cards in front of you. I hope they change that policy soon. Ultimately we ended up not selling our cards here. There are other stores in Indy and the surrounding counties that provide better value for your cards. I would go there first. I think they assume if you want cash for the cards that you are desperate and they can offer you anything. I honestly was just curious if their pricing matched TCG Player pricing and discovered it does not.

First time at this place. I bought a bunch of their $10 bulk boxes of commons/uncommons. I was curious what the breakdown of cards inside was like so I counted:Average around 400-450 cards, no basic mana, a little non-basic land. ~100 unique cards per bulk pack (so still decent number of duplicates BUT the highest # of dups for one card was 12 with an average of 3-4 dups per card... not bad at all imo. ~13% of the packs were uncommons.Theyre all separated by set, which is nice if youre trying to fill out a collection. Ive had some bad experiences in the past with grab boxes having like... 50 duplicates of multiple cards. Not the case with Game Times boxes.For 10 bucks, these grab boxes are really well-made. Its obvious going through the cards that they had been sorted and an attempt was made to be fair and equal (no chunks of all blue or white cards.) Very evenly distributed across the colors.I think these boxes are EXCELLENT for younger players who need a good variety of cards without breaking the bank. Its not like the deal of the century or anything, considering youre getting mostly commons but the variety and even distribution of cards across all colors makes me believe the guys that packed this box were not just using them as a worthless dump of commons. They actually put time and effort into making these boxes worth every dollar. (See photos for even distribution of colors. The stacks at the bottom of the the photos are the unique cards with the larger stacks behind them are the duplicates.)The employees seemed friendly and knowledgeable too.

Well organized card shop. It had a small selection of popular board games. The cards were organized by singles in their glass counters but did not have a price. Granted prices change but it does make it a little difficult to know what price range you’re looking at if you’re not familiar with that card’s price and what the shop sells it for. This is also normal practice for most card shops so I don’t hold it against them.

I didn’t have a problem here. Thought some of the cards were overpriced, but that’s the name of the game I guess.The workers were cool and I picked up some cool cards. Will likely come backUpdate: have been going to this store for months and it’s become my favorite TCG store in the area. Great singles selection and really cool workers. Still think some of the boxes are overpriced but eh, that’s alright.

This place is very nice for your board game, magic, and pokémon needs the staff are friendly and nice, the selection of pokemon is good and there is a lot of singles. The thing is when i give them my cards they give me 70% less than what it is priced but besides from that this place is good.

When you first walk in the store it looks promising as they have a huge inventory of pokemon and magic singles, packs, boxes, and supplies. What made me give this store such a low review is the insane price gouging they have going on. I get having stuff at market value as its a store front that has to make money, but most sealed product especially pokemon is 25-50% over market value. When asking about singles in the show cases expect the highest price they can find no matter what the condition is of the card. Honestly I have no idea how this place stays in business unless they are just scamming children and their parents who dont know what normal prices are for these items or how to look up singles to get a fair market price.

Has most singles you could ever need for mtg. Lots of older packs too! Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful

While the selection Im sure is great, DO NOT go to this place if you cant wear a mask for medical reasons. When told I had to wear a mask I politely informed the girl at the counter of my condition. She said thats not a real thing and told me I would have to wait outside. Even after presenting my ADA card showing why I cant wear a mask I was continued to be berated and refused service. I have contacted the BBB for this discrimination and hope someone can read this and AVOID AN EXPERIENCE LIKE MINE

Morally corrupt store, buys cards at low prices at customers expense and their gain. I would not recommend buying or selling anything at this store as they will rip you off. I understand they are a business and need to make a profit, but offering way under current rates for cards to maximize profits is immoral.

I have been doing business with this place for multiple years. Jeremy the owner is an amazing guy. The staff is wonderful. It takes sometime to process card list request, but thats expected with how busy they are. Thank you for a consistent experience! I will always recommend your store.

They have a nice selection. That selection is going to cost you though. On a recent trip they had a product that MSRP for $40, and scalpers are currently selling for $60 on facebook, at $95. Also please dont sell your cards to them. I looked up cards on Ebay and had recent sold listings equaling around $200 total. They offered me $60. Staff seemed nice even though they are trying to rob people. Some of the current sets seem fairly priced with others. Just make sure you shop around and check prices before you buy from this place. My experience is only with their pokemon products.

Disgusting place! Charging over 40% more than MSP ON EVERYTHING!. They try to play it off as if they are looking at creditable sites like TCG but then give you a price far above any asking prices for less than near-mint cards. When asked why was a card in Moderately Played condition that was valued @ 50-70 is being priced @ 120+ they responded that they did not see that. When shown from the site they said go shop there then. Long time collector and rep with TCG, that alone was a display of piss poor customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE A COLLECTOR. More examples - item A valued @155-175 they are charging 249.99. If you want to be ripped off, then go here.

I use to enjoy going to Game Time. The owner is a nice man but the staff there is not pleasant. I overheard one of the employees talking bad about a customer from the back room as he was trying to price his cards. Skinny guy with a hat. I also didnt enjoy the smug remark he gave the customer in front of other customers just because he questioned the price he gave. He had a take or leave it attitude. It seemed kinda slimy and i never leave posts but felt like i had to because i enjoy games unfortunately the people that work there just worry about themselves not the customer and yes i work in customer service they should be ashamed of themselves.

I went there to buy some cards, no prices on anything but booster boxes.The price was 69.99$ NEXT DAY I call in to make sure it was still there...he says the price isnt posted let me check... CHECK EBAY AND SAYS 80$I should have took a pic.Never doing business in there you can get better deals on EBAY. Because thats how they price EVERYTHING! ITS JUST A BUNCH OF EMOS SELLING POKÉMON THINKING THEY ARE LOGAN PAUL.

So, Im not usually a picky person. Im very flexible but when I feel like I am being played, that isnt something I react well to. I brought in a Foiled Expedition Misty Rainforest. I just pulled it over the weekend and wanted to sell it. I asked for 70. Which is perfectly reasonable I think. It took much longer for them to look at it and there were no other customers in the store. The gentleman I talked to said they will give me 50 because there was a dink in the middle of the card which is impossible considering I put it in a hard sleeve straight away. Now I dont want to be rude but I feel that this card was damaged on purpose. And I am very upset. I dont trust this place or the owner. I dont come in often but I am very suspicious of how they do things. They dont even look at the cards in front of you, they go to the back so how do I know they didnt do anything to it.I will not be returning and if you choose to go here, I would be very cautious of selling things to them. I hope no one else experiences this either. What a shame.

Lowballed me pretty harshly on some cards, even based on very good condition and low estimates I estimated about $60 worth. They offered $40. The Mana Drain alone should have been around 30-35 if VG. Also took forever- literally an hour- to grade and offer. Finally, they took them back which I dont really like, and handed them back without sleeves on. Just rubbed me wrong.

The guys there were so helpful and knowledgeable. Anything you are going there for theyll have somebody that knows all about it and prices were reasonable. It was nice to visit a game store like this one. Will definitely be back.

If you value your time. Highly recommend going elsewhere. Paid over $400 on cards- over priced. Came back a couple days later. Just to see what they would say, brought in $1500 of my own cards plus the ones they had just sold me. And offered $50 cash. Id recommend taking business elsewhere.

Me and friend dropped over $250 on 17 packs and got 1 v lol hidden fates packs were re-sealed melted crimps in solid square. Told them about it it promised they werent didnt offer refund. Maybe weighted as well. Do not go here the also claimed to open their boxes to sell the packs at a tcg seller that does tournaments pretty sure they get sanctioned

Very friendly staff AND there are demo games! How cool is that?!?! Ive been in board game stores that have this feature and some that dont. This makes a board game store great! I want to try games before purchasing and they let you do this here. They also have Magic and Pokemon cards. A separate room for fame playing. And the store is family friendly. I will be back!

Very helpful staff. Loads of board games, cards, and D&D stuff. Pathfinder stock was light, they had more Starfinder. Loads of minis.

I would only buy from this place they will literally rip you off they dont want to take the time to go through cards and evaluate each one based upon its own value they have this box that has a long row in it that youre supposed to fill all the way up with your cards for only five bucks that is absolutely ridiculous each one of those slots hold over a thousand cards if they only sold those cards for $0.10 a piece they would still make a good enough profit so that they can pay the people properly again dont sell them anything and honestly because of the way they treated my daughter I wouldnt buy anything from them either

I come to this place for mostly Magic cards, and in that regard, they definitely have the most extensive selection I’ve seen in town. In addition to that, the staff were all patient and helpful with me. I’m a relatively new Magic player, and they took the time to explain my options - to make sure I knew exactly what I was buying and that it was something I wanted. Great place.

They have a great collection of cards and board games. The prices on magic singles is outrageous though. 3 nobles and 2 prismatic vistas are around 130 market price and I was charged 154. Dont have prices visable. I could have gotten the cards for about 120 online but decided to support a shop. I will no longer be coming here. I then tried to follow up with a phone call to explain the price but there was no answer.

My family went to Game Time around noon expecting to casually search the store. We are from out of town and frequent many game stores. We expected this to be the same, but upon entering the store the team member behind the counter greeted us and approached us. He asked what games we play. He immediately took us to the counter to try some games. We had a blast! We bought every game he suggested! We will be back to this store every time we are near Indianapolis! Great job guys!

Ive been coming to this store for years. Excellent selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. You cant ask for much more than that. Much better than some other stores in the area. This is usually my first place to look for any new games.

Went to look at Pokémon cards and it took them awhile to look up prices for us. They use TCG Player to look up prices which we could’ve done on our own faster. The employees seemed to be spending their time goofing around more and no one really even addressed us until we went up to the counter to ask for help. They seem to have lots of board games and it’s cool that they let you play games in their rooms and host tournaments there.

One of the best game stores in Indy. Great selection, accomodating staff. A large open play area recently added. One of the few places around selling Pokemon single cards.

Great store. Great selection! I brought my two young kids in to play Pokémon TCG and were able to get a few rounds in with some other folks.If you plan on bringing any cards in to exchange for store credit, I highly suggest looking at their schedule. If there is a tournament or open play going on, the store gets much busier and service takes understandably longer. We’ve always gotten fair prices and we love the selection that they have!

Went to sell my Pokemon Card collection. I believe I got a reasonable price for my collection. $10 per 1000 of common cards and then a bunch of rares I sold netted me $65 of store credit. I know I could have gotten more if I sold them online myself, but I like supporting local game stores. The staff was fast, store was very clean and spacious. Big room in the back for gaming. I would like to visit again.

These guys are my new favorite local game store. They are very knowledgeable about the games they sell and make good suggestions. They also have a pretty good sized library of games for demo purposes if you want to try before you buy. Very highly recommended.

Its a little sad that the larger this place gets the less I like it. I dont really feel welcome like I used to. I normally walk in twice a year for large purchases, and am usually happy when I leave. This time it wasnt the case.This time I walked in specifically to see what alpha cards they had a available. The person behind the case kept telling me that I needed to write down what I wanted. Even though I told him twice that I just wanted to know what they had. Alpha cards are extremely rare, and most of the time you just have to take what you can get. I then said I was looking specifically for any alpha commons that they had. He then told me I once again that I would need to write down what I wanted, and that he personally couldnt help me.It was at that point that I didnt think it was worth my time anymore.

As a reflection of the brick and mortar era, this place stands out as an example of the customer service and value that is sorely missing. Every visit to the store is a treat. My kids are treated just as friendly and professionally as I am. Their selection is vast, and the fact that I can try some games beforehand is a real bonus. Can not recommend high enough.

One of the largest game stores in the area for magic the gathering. They also deal in boardgames and table top. Their competitive trading card game scene is pretty good, offering events throughout the week with good prize support. They purchase cards at a fair rate and sell pretty much everything youd want except maybe some really obscure things. Can easily recommend for your gaming needs

This is easily one of the best board and card game stores in the city. The staff is nice and incredibly helpful. The prices are very fair. The selection has nearly everything you could need (and if they dont have it, theyll gladly order it for you). They have a free rewards program which gives you a $10 discount for every $100 spent (which we all know isnt too difficult with gaming). The store itself has a large gaming area open for use with dozens of tables, hosting different types of events throughout the week.Game Time 10/10

This is small business and the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. I am not a gamer, but my husband is. I have gone into this location a handful of times to pick up gifts for him and they always help me find what I am looking for.

Beautiful game store with a vast selection of Magic: the Gathering singles. Easily one of the #1 places to play competitive Magic in the state. Turnout for events is huge and there are different fotmats running daily. Prize support is solid. Legacy, Commander, Modern, and Standard are all regularly represented. The community is full of tiered meta decks that should give you a good idea of your decks performance in other regional events. If you are serious about your Magic play there is no reason not to visit.

Took my son to learn to play Pokémon. The staff and volunteers were great. Half the shop was retail half was table for play. He had a great time. They had a wide selection of board games and competitive prices.

(From a Pokemon player/collector) I came in and saw they had a nice selection of cards on display, then I saw they had a bunch of products from collections to sleeves and such, well they dont price ANYTHING or have a computer with prices if each so they gotta look them up (stupid) which is bad braise people dont wanna say how much is this and this and this, I buy a few things and leave, well I bought the wrong item and they dont take returns which I understood, and I was rushed to get what I wanted them leave from one of the staff members. Wish my experience wouldve been better. And they open so late! Who opens at 2 in the afternoon!?

They carry all the Wiz Kids ready to paint models, Army Painter paint, and accessories.Staff was super friendly.
