Every single person in this team is so great. It was my first time here and Barb and the doc. Eric were so nice and gentle. They explained me everything and took me through the process very nicely. I also too had an awesome time with Barb she helped me choose my frames and it was so fun. Such a nice energy there! Cant wait to pick up my glasses whenever they are ready!!

I went in to Target Optical in hopes of finding a new pair of eye glasses. My eye glasses are scratched so badly, I can barely see.I felt I had received honest advice from the salesman that was helping me out.My new pretty blue glasses should be ready for pick up in the next 10 days!Great service and fair pricing!

Barb and Nicole provided top notch service when my boyfriend dropped his glasses on the ground. They told us come in same day on a Sunday and fixed them. Not only did they fix them but cleaned them, provided a case and complimentary towelettes. The customer service was amazing and they literally saved my boyfriend’s attendance record at work. It’s very vital he has glasses. I’m so thankful for Nicole and Barb!

My wife and I both scheduled appointments with Dr. Nunemaker at the Southport Target Store. The staff was very helpful and polite. Dr. Nunemaker worked with both of us to get our contact prescriptions dialed in for the best possible outcome. This took a couple visits for us both as we are both first time contact wearers. He was very patient and we are both extremely pleased with him and the store. He is a credit to the company.

I have EyeMed insurance but they charged me $100 for the exam which is a 100% covered expense. I have called Target numerous times and asked to please reprocess the claim but they are essentially blaming insurance and my insurance cant do anything because claim wasnt actually filed by Target. Ive called 3 times during normal hours today and just rings. I will not come back here.

My family and I went to this location recently and will not be returning. I had been in before, noticed a pair of frames I was interested in and returned a few weeks later to purchase. On entering the store, the associate could not have been more disinterested in assisting us with trying on the frames and offering more information. The Target Optical website had the frames for 50% off list price. When we asked if we could have that price, she listed a host of reasons why we couldnt in the store and added very expensive lenses just for perscription readers. We took our unpleasant experience and wallets and left. What a waste of time. Returned home, researched the frames online and bought them.

I have been to this Target optical twice over the past ~4 years. Most recently I was there last year. I decided to order new glasses online recently so I dug out my paperwork from my last visit to check my prescription (which I had requested they write down multiple times) only to discover that they didnt write it down.The last time I was there I was also sized for contacts. The entire exam took less than five minutes. I complained about this at the time and was told it was normal. I ended up trying three different brands of contacts (I couldnt see out of them. The eye doctor would not recheck my prescription) before just getting a refund. Just go to a real eyeglass store and save yourself the trouble.

I’ve been going here for about eight years now and have never had a problem. I can see great and the staff are absolutely amazing. Jared always knows how to make customers laugh and enjoy their experience!

Staff was very friendly. I was skeptical based on some of the reviews but my insurance accepted them so I figured I would give it a shot since I was long overdue for an exam. Exam was quick but now I can see without squinting! The manager was also very helpful in picking out frames.

In my years of experience receiving exams for my eyes I have never found a place with a good combination of front staff and doctors being equally happy to help and pleased to see me. Ive never been to the same place two years in a row for this reason. I was immediately impressed by the front staff both with their communications on the phone and in person. I was incredibly leery about the doctor at first. My husband had his exam first and he said the doctor seemed indifferent. The way he carried himself and looked at the patients in the lobby was a presentation that Im above all of this, I have WAY more important things to do right now than deal with this lot. Admittedly, I vocalized this concern to my husband so the doctor could eavesdrop more easily. His demeanor with me seemed to change and I was overall pleased with his conduct. I only give this location a 4/5, because I think he may have been faking it, but I still appreciate the effort. Ill be back to give them another chance.

Ive been going to Dr. Nunemaker for over 7 years and think hes great. The office staff is very helpful too.

Dr. Nunamaker was nice but like another reviewer mentioned, he seemed indifferent. I was getting contacts for the first time in almost 15 years and he didnt take the time to address my concerns or answer my questions. It just felt like he didnt care. However, another employee named Holly who helped me with checking out and such really shined. She was excellent! I would give her 5 stars.

The assistant and staff were great. Dr. Nunemaker was rude and rushed through my eye exam. He would try to guess which lens was better for me instead of waiting for me to make a decision. He was condescending when answering my questions. He also gave me incorrect information about a specific contact lens. Overall, he just seemed annoyed to have to do his job. I will not be back.

Target Optical is covered by our insurance and I have always admired the attractive and very fairly prices frames that they have in store so I went. ( I have been to Ossip, Best in Sight and Alig before) It was funny to sit in their exam room because it is like a little closet but I felt that I received a thorough exam. The eye doctor listened to issues that I was having with my contacts and recommended a different brand and they have been a big improvement. The two front office staff where very knowledgeable regarding how to get contacts and glasses and maximize my insurance benefits. They arent fancy but I was super pleased.

Total joke. First and last time going. Eye exam in 10 minutes. Didnt listen and he acted like he didnt really want to be doing the exam. He seemed like he didnt know what he was doing!!!!I will go to a real physician next time. Dont waste your time or money.Staff not friendly and goofy.

There is ALWAYS a long wait. The guy that works in the showroom is terribly condescending. The doctor is pretty good. But its the time spent out side the exam room that has made us go somewhere else.

Hollie helped me pick out my glasses on my first visit and she was so patient with me and answered all of my MANY questions. This week I stopped in because my glasses suddenly started slipping down my nose when I was at work. Without any hesitation she made some adjustments (and continued to make them) until I was completely satisfied with the end result. I didnt feel rushed or like she was trying to get me out of the store, even though it was very close the end of her shift. She has a wonderful, professional attitude, and she provides fantastic customer service! Ill keep going back! :)

They broke my first new pair and the replacement glasses were a joke. Frames were messed up. They did upgrade my new frames and lenses. Now these are a bit crooked. I really have not had this much trouble with getting new glasses.... Ever. I wont be going back.

My eye is scratched and I can barely open it, tried to go as soon as they opened to maybe get squeezed in to get it looked at. 10 am rolls around I’m waiting, 10:15 rolls around I’m waiting, and then 10:45 rolls around and I end up leaving and going to Ossip! Ridiculous. They don’t actually open up at 10.
