Friendly and professional. Dr. Lambert took the time to explain what she was doing and why each test was important. While I have had my eyes checked numerous times, I was very thankful for the deeper understanding she provided. Their prices are also very good.

Dr. Moody and the staff were great. My eye appointment was done in about 40 minutes and they explained the issues by eyes are facing and gave me options for eye glass wear. They provide good and friendly services.

Richard in the downtown office—I think you are very good at your job. On two occasions, you’ve been thorough, caring, present with me as I navigate glasses for the first time. My gratitude, sir! Also, you helped me pick out frames when I had no idea what would work on my face, and my wife digs them. So that’s a big win too.

The person who runs the office heavily pressures you to buy through them. If you ask for your pupillary distance from a past exam they will refuse to give it to you.

Great customer service. Great explanation of what’s going on with you or in my case my daughter. I was saddened thinking my daughter’s eye sight was more severe than what it was being that it’s hereditary on her fathers side. But with this eye clinicians expertise she doesn’t need bifocals like the rest of the family. What a great feeling my child no longer stands in front of the television to watch an entire movie. And very very clean building especially during covid19 and this corona virus wonderful environmental services protection. Just a Amazing building.God bless.

Doctor moody is great. But their selection on there in house eye wear is very small they need to have much more frame selection and it also wouldnt hurt to have a guide to pic and look through 4 frames in case you dont have them on sight. Just need more variety and selection of frames and better pricing..Sorry about the misspell my auto text is horrible. Im not a patient but my fiance is and has been a patient for about 5 years .the frame selections that we have seen for the last 5 years have not change much ..if at all.. I just feel like if you had a catalog or a online place to look at different styles of frames that would be nice So that you have a lot more options and you dont have to go online like my fiance had to the last few times to find her own frames after getting her eye appointment done through you its very inconvenient to go someplace else and get your frames because of your lack of selection. And your pricing is pretty high as well as she is able to get 2 pair of frames for less than one pair of frames at your store. And its not convenient at all to buy them online and then have to have them sized and things when you get them it would just be nice to have a site to go on and look through ..Not enough colors no white frames whatsoever. At either store downtown or South side... And your downtown store location could be a little easier to find as it is located directly behind the escalators and unless you have been there is not easy to find.. Thank you

The doctor was great, but once I stopped by the office to receive my trial contacts I was told I’d receive the prescription over email the following day. I was fine with driving downtown to pick it up the prescription if necessary since my current glasses broke in my luggage on a business trip and they’re just taped together currently, but the email offer saved me a lot of hassle driving downtown and I appreciated it.Two days later I’ve received no prescription, the downtown office is closed until next week, and my only option is to drive almost an hour and a half to the Greenwood office because “it’s not company policy” to email prescriptions even though I was told it could be emailed to me. I even offered it to be emailed or faxed directly to Costco and not to myself. But that just turned into them making a sales pitch to get me to buy glasses from them.I would’ve hoped for a doctors office to just try to meet me halfway, especially considering it’s a confusion I didn’t cause. All I needed was to order my glasses in time to have them ready for my next business trip in January.

Dr Lambert and Richard were thorough and personal during my appointment. They answered all of my questions. Their email communications were very helpful. When ordering my glasses, Richard was kind enough to call me back (multiple times) due to a busy work day, to take my payment over the phone. Thanks for the excellent customer service and for never making me feel like I was inconveniencing you!- Skyler & Randy Caplinger

It took two months for them to respond to a prescription request. This was prompted after they rejected answering Warby Parkers service to obtain our prescription for an online eyeglass order (that or they werent able to reach them because they shut down their phones during COVID-19 shelter-in-place). Either way, my boyfriend reached out by email (per their website) on numerous occasions. His initial inquiry was in May and he got his first response from them today. A terrible business practice for something as essential as eye wear.

I had an amazing experience here for my contact lens exam. Tim greeted me with great respect and friendliness. He was also very transparent in walking me through my contact lens options. Dr. Hudak was professional and thorough during the entire prescription process. My visited felt much like an enjoyable conversation than a traditional trip to the doctors. Would definitely recommend!

My first appointment was over a month ago and I finally have my glasses although I am not sure yet if they are incorrectly done (again) or if I just need to give my eyes more time to adjust. I had an exam done by someone -she never introduced herself- who seemed to have no idea what she was doing. She didn’t know how to use the equipment and had to keep starting over causing my appointment to run much longer than the hour I was quoted. Ten days after my initial appointment I called to check on my glasses having received no update. I was put on hold for quite a while and then was told that my glasses were done but wouldn’t be delivered to the office until the next day after 12:00. I can’t say for sure that I was lied to but it was pretty obvious someone would staying late at the lab to get my forgotten order done that night. I picked up my glasses and immediately knew something wasn’t right. I was assured that it would just take time for my eyes to adjust even though I had been wearing progressives for many years. Ten days later I returned because I still couldn’t use my reading level. Turns out that I had no reading level on my new lenses due to a “lab error”! Once again I left my glasses and even though I was assured they would be a “rush order” had to call back a week later to get a status and was told once again that they would be ready the next day. I chose Moody Eye because I like to support local small businesses and the convenient downtown location was close but there was nothing convenient about this evolution. I give two starts because they were very polite and friendly.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I had a same-day contact lens appointment during my 30-minute lunch break. Dr. Lambert and Richard explained every step of the appointment and made me feel at ease. I also felt like the doctor and Richard listened to any of my concerns. Although my appointment was quick, there was no reduction of quality time and observations. They were able to work quickly but efficiently and I greatly appreciated it. I visited the downtown location, which was a quick walk from the Regions tower. They will soon be moving to the Salesforce Tower, which will be even more convenient. My appointment was $89 dollars and a 6-month supply of my contact lenses was only $232 + free shipping. Overall, I really appreciate your convenience and prices as a student. Highly, highly recommended!

My eye exam was good, but they have made it as difficult as possible to get my prescription. They didnt offer it to me after my exam like they are supposed to under federal regulations, and I am now three phone calls in and still do not have it. I previously purchased my contact lenses from them and was just planning on buying some backup eyeglasses elsewhere since their glasses are a little pricier than I want to spend on backups. However, I will now be going elsewhere with all of my prescriptions due to how frustrating they have made what should have been a simple process.

Was trying to purchase a year supply of contacts after my appointment. I attempted to gather a couple spares to last me until the shipment arrived, but the receptionist claims they did not have anymore in stock... which did not appear to be the truth whatsoever as Im sure there must be comparable contacts in stock.

I picked Moody Eyes because my former Optometrist did not take my current insurance. I went to their Northside location at 86th and Clearwater. Their hours are PERFECT for a busy working adult. I made a great choice! Moody Eyes is professional and they listen. Ashley at the front desk was so kind and helped me pick out a wonderful pair of glasses at a great price! Dr. Moody was very kind and treated me with respect and gave me tons of information about my eyes that I did not know. Just yesterday, I went in to pick up my new glasses and asked Connie to print out my script so I could purchase sunglasses. I was quoted a price 3 weeks ago for $350.00 plus; the price was too high for me. I am so glad I asked, because over the weekend Connie and Dr. Moody reviewed pricing of prescription sunglasses! Connie showed me tier 1, 2, and 3 pricing for these sunglasses. And I picked a pair that came to only $180.00!!! That I could afford! That is comparable what I would pay at a Lenscrafters or Eyeglass World for prescription sunglasses. AND! The best thing, Connie called the lab to get my sunglasses ordered/rushed so I can possibly get them before Thanksgiving! I can not praise this place enough. And my vision is SOOO clear and crisp now. I HIGHLY recommend!! Thanks Moody Eyes!!

High pressure sales tactics - very overpriced.Do not entrust your health to a team of salesmen.Even the front desk receptionist complains about the pressure of dressing nice, because they make her wear uncomfortable shoes. This sounds a little out of left field, but even the receptionist is uncomfortable here. This optometrists office is situated on one of the most expensive pieces of real estate in Indiana. If you go to this practice and buy glasses from him, he will be begging you to pay his rent through high pressure sales tactics. They incessantly argued with me in their office after I asked for my prescription. They wanted me to buy the most expensive pair of glasses they had.I ended up getting belittled for wanting a cheaper pair of glasses. The doctor fought me; the sales person fought me. It was not a good experience at all.I am not even someone who writes reviews online, but this place needs to be exposed for its unprofessional practice procedures.Anyway, dont go here. You are going to be pressured. This is a true 1 star review.
