Had a serpentine belt came off on Saturday. Called John this morning and he had the car towed and fixed within 4 hours. I was very impressed by his professionalism and honesty. Definitely will be doing business with him in the future

I broke down on my way to Pittsburgh. Needed a water pump which I already purchased. He told me he wouldnt use the part and that it would take all day into the next day. He also said since I had done work on it myself he didnt want to touch it.So I took it down the street to Rodriguez. They used the part I had and did it in 3 hours for less then $300.

It wasnt same day turnaround. I took in my car Saturday and it was finished Monday. The crew were nice and courteous. The only issue I really had was once I got my car back my car adapter was missing. Do I believe theft? No, but that did bother me. They even let me pick up my car a day later. I just took my 2003 Chrysler 300M there for brake work. Found out it needed more done than I expected and budgeted for so needless to say it came as a bit of a shock. But they were 100% honest and upfront about everything that needed to be completed. The pricing was fair and the quality of work was excellent! I am from out of state. I found myself in Indianapolis unexpectedly picking up a car for someone else. It had been sitting for 6 months and it was not running well. I brought the car to A&A hoping the repairs would not break the bank. Ultimately, it needed a new battery and an oil change. I was really at their mercy and they could have taken advantage of me. Instead, they were kind, efficient and honest. I doubt Ill ever be in the area again, but I would not hesitate to use their services if I am. This is the kind of business that deserves the outstanding reputation they have online.

This is my second time to come here. I came to fix the brake problem with discount coupons last year, but John forgot to use the coupon at checkout. He replaced the discount with one time free oil change. This is why I was there today. There had a small problem when I made appointment. Usually it is very easy to make appointment online. John reply very quickly. But this time I did not get response. Then I just went there. He finial found my appointment in spam mail. But he still changed the oil immediately. A good experience overall, I would recommend A & A.

I love A&A and John!!! I have been using them for over 12 years and have never been disappointed. Car: 2000 Mercury SableI will never take my car to any other place but A&A. I took my car there for the first time last week for a front passenger tire. Well after a few minutes John came in and told me my coil springs were broken. I asked if I could hold off on getting them replaced. What John did surprised me. He took me into the garage and showed me both coils and sure enough they were really broken. I never had a mechanic actually show me what he was going to repair. REALLY?? Who does that?? John does. Everyone that came in that day knew him by name and could not stop speaking his praises. Hes honest and knows what hes doing. I highly recommend A&A Tire and Auto Service.

2017: Best experience I had at a repair shop in a long time, excellent work, and very prompt. I had a front half axle replaced and it looks like not only did they complete the repair but while the wheel was off it appears they greased a ball joint that needed it and was not directly related to the axle replacement. I took a look underneath when I returned home. They went above and beyond (even if it seems a small thing) and they did it without having to pat themselves on the back. I will definitely be using A &A again. Its hard to find a service provider you can trust, Im glad I gave them a try and found them.Update 2019, went back for price on front bearings, 2005 Murano. Quoted 350 per wheel. I got Moog bearings and new speed sensors myself online and did both front wheels for 260$ and 3 hours of my time. I know a profit has to be made but seems like prices may be up now.

Ive had my cars there a few times, and have complete confidence in them. It is an old school shop without amenities I dont need. Good communication and a good attitude.

My sons and I were in from Ohio for a soccer game at Lucas Oil Field. As we were getting on the expressway to come home, my car started smoking. We called A & A after searching online and they said to bring it right in. They were very nice, reasonable and honest and got us on the road in 3 hours. We were so grateful!! They were amazing.

I have taken our family cars here many times for servicing and repairs. This is one of the few honest and good mechanic shops!

I brought my vehicle in with overheating issues. While diagnosing and repairing the vehicle, they discovered a much bigger issue (balance/timing chains). The owner was able to identify that this issue was related to a manufacturer recall and I had it towed to a dealer where they are fixing. Saved me at least $1000. He even knocked off labor costs since the vehicle wasnt completely repaired there. This is the kind of shop you want to bring your vehicle to.

I am so thankful that I was referred to A & A... John and his staff have been fabulous! After going to another shop and being told I had a bad gasket head (basically needed my engine replaced), I called John and spent several minutes on the phone with him describing everything I had been told by the other shop. I felt very comfortable having Johns shop come and tow my van to their location. He and his staff thoroughly inspected my vehicle and found out that I did NOT have a bad gasket head and did not need a new engine. It would have been so easy for John to tell me I did need a new one but he didnt... He was honest and told me the truth!! My son bought a car on Georgia and drove it back to Indianapolis, only to find that the engine blew about 10 miles from home. He had to have it towed to A & A Tire and Auto Service. We were at the mercy of the mechanic unless we wanted another towing charge. We were pleasantly surprised at how professional and honest the owner was in dealing with a long distance mother and my son who didnt have any wheels and needed to have it fixed quickly at a reasonable price. We are both so happy with the service we received my son and his family is going to take all their vehicles to A & A. It is tough to find good mechanics that know what they are doing, not overcharge for unnecessary work, and are honest. I would highly recommend A & A.

I brought my BMW in because the front end was shaking violently at higher speeds. John hooked me up with a new control arm and was very pleasant and professional. The price was good and he got me in and out in the same day. Being from California I was not sure if I would get the 2nd class treatment. No sir, not at this fine establishment! I will be back! Oh also, no more front end shake. They know what they are doing. He even showed me the bad part....it was on life support.

He suggested another place and I was able to get good service there. While at the other place I realized I left my cell phone. Smh. When I got back it was there waiting for me. Went here because it was one of the few places open on a Saturday afternoon. While I was very appreciative for him keeping the store open for me, the tire he sold me had a massive leak in it. The next morning when I went out to my car, I found the tire completely flat and when I pumped it, I could hear the leak in it. Would not go back.

If you are looking to get your car fixed. This is the place. Price is great. He always lets me know exactly what Im getting charged for and I sent my jeep in for a new starter today and he is going to try to have it fixed by tonight. Which is amazing. I dont usually leave reviews, but I needed to after the great repairs I have had done here. This is the second time I have had repairs done here and I have been nothing, but satisfied with the service.

The guys at A&A are amazing!!! I needed an oil change to go out of town for the holiday and they fit me in!!!! This is the 2nd vehicle I have brought here and they are totally trustworthy!!! Poor customer, the guy acted as if he didnt want to help me at all. Kept telling me take it somewhere else for them to check my tires.

John treated me like family. I told him my primary concern and he made sure it was addressed. He kept me up to date and was honest as he uncovered my car problems. In 24 hrs my issue was fixed and he not only found 1 issue but a few and addressed them. I think I found my go to mechanic. These guys not only know cars and trucks but how to treat people. I asked for a diagnostic test to be ran on my car and was told I had to leave it, then I was called and informed that they did a pressure test on my car and put antifreeze in it and charged me 74.09 for it, then insinuated that I had no common sense, when I informed him I just had my fluids checked and there was antifreeze in it, his response was Well I dont know what to tell you. I asked him how could he take advantage of me like this his words were, you got heat dontcha. Well I really hope what he is doing dont come back on him fair weights and balances, when you do someone wrong expect no good to come of it.In answering : You told me that a diagnostic testing was 49.95 how is a pressure test that basically runs around 30 dollars at the most more. But I guess you can set your own prices I just know that it was an overcharge and you did what you wanted, I asked for a diagnostic to be ran, and I thought that was what I was getting and you telling me what you gave me is not good service. Coolant is no where near 40 bucks.

I really trust A&A Tire and Auto. I began going for my regular oil changes when I moved to Indianapolis. John lets me know if there are any other regular scheduled maintenance issues I need to get fixed, but if I think I need to have something done, hell honestly tell me whether I need to or not. Ive moved further away from A&A Tire and Auto, but I still make the trek to A&A because I trust the service. Its hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, and A&A Tire and Auto definitely is one.

Honest, hardworking people that saved us alot of money. My ground wire was disconnected and they replaced it. They could have lied and told us it was the fuel pump to get $700 out of us but they were honest. Were so thankful that we found them!

Ive loved working with these guys. Im not a complete gearhead, but I know most of whats involved when working with cars. Ive done lots of smaller jobs on my own vehicles, but some get large enough that I dont have the tools and/or time to do them myself. When that happens, I go to A&A.Last year, on a freak incident, my half shaft sheared itself as I was backing out of a parking space at work. My car was undriveable. I did some searches, and found A&A had some excellent reviews. I called them up, around 9 AM the following morning from work. They picked up my car around noon, and had it fixed as I was leaving work that same day. Their cost estimate was exactly what I was expecting, and it held true to the end.Just recently, I noticed my clutch slipping, and knew it was time to replace the clutch. I called them up, and once again, their estimate was spot on. I let them know about another rattling sound I heard as I drove over bumps, and they pinpointed that issue with my sway bars. A job that likely would have cost at least $50-$100 in labor, they only charged me for materials since they were already down to the transmission. I asked for a simple check over for anything else that might be wrong, and they didnt think anything else was necessary for the time being. They did this in only a day, by the way.These guys are knowledgeable, quick, and most importantly, honest. Every time Ive come back to pick up my car, they bring out the broken pieces so I can see myself just how bad the issue was (even if you dont know cars, its pretty cool). Just recently moving to Indianapolis for a full-time job, I can say that Im confident I can take my car to these guys whenever I need to. They are the best repair shop Ive ever dealt with.

The staff are expertise and honest. Before I came to A&A tire & auto service, I went to the other services to check the problems of my car. One of them said my car has problems of blabal...., and suggested me to replace blabla..... Total it would cost me $850. When I came to A&A tire and auto, John told me that my car only has problems of engine cooler. He also suggested me to replace tire with used tire in their shop. I had the engine cooler and tire replaced. I costed me about $400. My car runs perfect now. A&A tire & auto service is worth trusting. I will come back if my car has new problems.

Their jagtag machine has problems. If you are a student who wants to pay with a jagtag, make sure that they know to call the jagtag office in order for you to pay with your jagtag (they can charge it through the phone). I did not know this until after I decided to just use a credit card.

The guy was very crusty and cantakerous. When asked if he can turn off the maintainence light he goes You dont know how to turn off the maintainence light. Most of the time he sounded rude and unwilling to help. Looks like most of the reviews here are fake.

We have been using A & A Tire and Auto Service for about a year and a half and I am happier with their service than just about any service provider we use. Whether it be our phone company, apartment office, or especially any of the auto services we have used in the past, the owner of this establishment has gone far above and beyond to help myself and my wife not only have better running vehicles, but also to know more about them and the problems themselves. Most places you go, you feel as if the workers are trying to swindle you out of money and take advantage, but every time we head over to A & A, the owner handles our business directly, he goes through the over-all status of the cars, and then he tells us what is actually necessary to take care of or not. There have been times that I have gone in and expected to pay a thousand dollars for a repair that seems to need taken care of and hell let me know that if we leave it, itll cause noise but no damage to the car. He gave up a thousand dollar pay check so that his customers will be taken care of. This man is professional, caring, and I believe, treats us as his own family after only a year and a half. You couldnt pay me to try another auto service, we finally feel comfortable.

Firestone quoted me $800 for a job that A & A did for $430. I wish I would have found these guys a long time ago.

The owner was VERY RUDE the first time we had our oil change. I made a second appt. a week in advance for an oil change, and when we showed up for our appt. on time, the owner let us know that it was going to be awhile before he could get us in because he took a bunch of walk ins in front of our scheduled appt. We told him we ran a company and had employees waiting on us at a jobsite and could not wait, that is why we scheduled an appt. he said oh well thats how it works, and the website you purchased the oil changes from living social we sued them for bad deals, so he basically told us we were out of luck. DO NOT EVER USE HIM, HE RIPS PEOPLE OFF and hes unprofessional.

I have over 215,000 miles on my 2004 Chrysler Sebring. I have taken it to A & A since mile 1. I dont trust anyone else with my car. I know whatever is wrong they will take care of it.
