Went in to buy a part to fix my leaking water line on my refrigerator and was greeted and assisted by Dennis. This man went above and beyond helping me. He gave me step by step instructions on how to fix my problem, helped me configure the parts so that when I got home all I had to do was screw them on and BAM my water line works again with no leaks! I am so thankful and appreciative for his knowledge and assistance. I hope corporate sees this because this man deserves a raise! Thanks again Dennis!

HD will accept any return within 30 days then put it back on the shelf as new. I purchased a new water pressure sprayer that didn’t work correctly only to discover it was a return.Most recent purchased a pair of saw horses and 1 had a missing locking device.Purchased 10 each toilet seats only to discover about 1/2 were missing the new bolts !!Other than their return quality inspection policy hell I love the place.

This is one of my favorite Home Depot locations. For some reason it just seems like the layout is just a bit better than the other area locations. The store itself is huge without being intimidating & you can always find someone to help (that actually works there) without having to hunt them down. Really nice hothouse section right off the garden area as well if youre into air plants, orchids or ferns this is your store.

I have been to the blinds department 4 times now, different days and different hours. We have a vacant apartment and I need 7 blinds and non of the windows are standard size. The associates there just sit at the desks talking and dont even acknowledge you when you are standing in front of them. If they bother to look up and make eye contact they just look down. Going to try a different store with associates willing to acknowledge you and help you.

They cant be trusted with their own materials. Hardly having parts in order at the store with regards to plumbing. Ive had to do so many returns at this store the clerk/cashier there should know me personally by now. Those in charge are hardly earning their wages but will throw their weight around to look busy. My opinion of course. If they had commission there would be people falling out of home loans and car payments within the pay period. But they have new tools.

Used locker pick up for $3 abs glue that was not in store. Free shipping to store, storage locker outside in front of store. QR code scan on cell phone popped storage locker open, quick and easy!

Poorly stocked, poorly managed. Good luck finding a suitable cart for large or long items like 4x8 sheets or 8+ lengths of lumber. The lumber at this location is the most expensive firewood on the planet, wet, warped, twisted and bowed. The finished trim is heavily damaged which requires time consuming sorting.There is always an aisle or 3 shut off for the forklifts and they are always the aisles I need stuff from. It would be nice if the shutting of aisles could be done outside business hours. Then there is the zamboni floor cleaning guy making the already too small aisles even more cramped as he tries to navigate around all the irritating standalone displays junking up the aisles even more and blocking sight of what the customers are trying to find. If you need to order a door or a window and Loris not working, forget about it and go to another store, it will be quicker. No problems at the paint department although good luck finding glazing putty also very cramped with all the junk in the aisles.Electrical dept is hit or miss and the plumbing dept is a definite miss. The Westminster store is a much better option.

They nolonger offer cutting custom lengths of different hoses. Fixed lengths only and the selection is not as broad.

I find myself going here quite a bit. Seems like they have everything you need for your home. (Not surprising) Overall good experience and appreciate the self checkout lines as well.

I ordered an AC unit online on July 2nd. I received an email saying that it would be delivered that day and was surprised but very happy about it. It never came that day.I was traveling for the next two weeks but my wife was home and the unit never arrived.Just this morning I called in and let them know I placed an order and they said it would be delivered the same day but it wasn’t.Right away the customer service agent said that’s not possible it wouldn’t have been the same day. I don’t see why he would want to disagree with a customer like that. Why would I make it up?Anyways, today is a Thursday and she said the earliest delivery is Tuesday. I am now driving to pick it up.Home Depot, you used to be a great company but something happened. Not once did you guys notify me what was going on. And now your two weeks late and I am the one having to pick it up?I will never buy from your store again. Horrible customer experience. The antithesis of Amazon.Follow up: Spoke to a manager. They don’t care. This dude didn’t even make eye contact.Final follow up: I wasn’t able to load it in my car so after speaking with that same manager again he was able to have somebody deliver it right then.So while it wasn’t the best experience I’ve ever had they made it right which counts for a lot in my book and therefore I have updated my review to a 3 stars.It would have been four or five but I had to ask for a manager again to get them to do it that day. I have been told they only deliver on Monday Wednesday and Friday but obviously that isn’t true.Mistakes are the best opportunity to turn customers into raving fans, when handled appropriately.If they wanted to make this a five star review, they should’ve said from the beginning we’re very sorry about that sir we are going to get it delivered to you today.

I found the customer service to be really poor. Employees standing around chatting with each other while customers are needing help. I asked one of the employees where the water coolers were and he just pointed down the aisle which was totally wrong.

Home Depot is always Home Depot which ever way you look at it. Customer service has never been an issue for me at any one of their locations. The employees are abundant, knowledgeable about products and their locations, and always willing to help answer questions. This City of Industry floor plan was a bit different than the normal floor plan and going there for the first time did take me longer to locate the items I needed, however the 2nd and 3rd times I had been there I had gotten familiar with where things were. The only thing I can say negatively about this location is the ways in and out of the parking lot are tiny and can get congested because there are other places to eat and ship close by.

Theres a reason why I always come back to Home Depot and especially this location. For years now, I come here several times a week. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable every single visit. There have been three or four times where I decided to go to Lowes instead because its a little bit closer to home. I regretted it every time lol. You can totally tell that Home Depot employees are way more knowledgeable and eager to help. Their competitors employees often know almost nothing about the department theyre working in and its not because theyre new... because they arent. Home Depot never disappoints. Great customer service. Great return policy. What else can I say?

Fail. Hung up on me four times. Was told they don’t have my order. Had to drive to costa mesa store to get answers. Costa Mesa store called Huntington beach store and now(it’s a miracle) they found my order. Costa Mesa told me i should get an email when their going to deliver my bbq grill. I told her it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, a week after purchase and now I have to wait an additional 3 more days. No thank you. Order canceled.

Avoid buying paint here. Their Behr paints are overpriced and low quality. I had the unfortunate experience with these products recently when my customer fell in love with a color and HD paint department told here that she would never get the same color elsewhere. A total lie, but I thought Id give it a try. Never again. Go to Sherwin-Williams, Vista, Kelly Moore, or even the blue store.Youll thank me.

As a store, it was spacious and the staff is very friendly and helpful.Regarding the merchandise, I could not find much variety in the electric cable extensions and plastic ducts I was looking for, the prices were bit higher than I would find elsewhere.Yet, Home Depot is still the place comes into my mind if I need something for my home.

They were wonderful I use them to have carpeting put in my house and I have also used them to deliver plants that are too heavy for me to carry very helpful

04-29-2021 went to Huntington Beach California Home Depot,went to pro desk pick up Osb radiant barrier. Show them Lowe’s price to match, they are so confused and trying to fool me say that they can give me a price of $52,85 ea. If I buy 60pcs , Lowe’s price were $51.65 ea. . That better price than Lowe’s and I loose my 10% military discount because they give me a better price, even they have mark at the lumber the price if you buy 60 and above. This is very sneaky at Home Depot, it’s no price match? They said they support military? Be aware, I even call the corporate office and get the same Bs, Military personnel stay away from Home Depot.

I enjoy Home Depot because people are very friendly inside although sometimes its hard to find someone to help you locate something. What I especially like is they have parking spaces right close to the door with sign saying veterans only. That is a great idea that most businesses should follow.

Don’t waste your time here.

Appliance delivery is scam. Some shady salesman signs you up for $80 street delivery and says your item on the truck...but guess what, its not there! Now you have to call all the other stores in the county and still wait another 5 days.

Tricia and Daniel are so awesome. They are patient and so knowledgeable. We had an great experience they were also friendly and had great costumer service. Would definitely recommend. 👍

This is a spot you needa be fast at dont take longer then 5 min if your burnt out at homedepot.

Only in California. They sell a Wagner paint sprayer. The instructions tell me to clean it out with mineral spirits but you cant buy mineral spirits as it is banned in the state of California. The product that they reccomend at Home Depot would attack the plastic parts of the air sprayer. You would think that if they sell a product that you would be able to buy what the manufacturer recommends to clean the item after use.

Lets just be honest... Home Depot is a place where people go to dream about what could be. Special projects, quotes, customer advice. These are all the greatest parts of Home Depot. If you need help, Associates are there. If you want to be left alone, you are free to browse without being bothered! Its truly my happy place👍

The Huntington Beach store is fairly busy during May/June, and seems to be running a bit slower due to Covid-19 challenges. After being assisted by three different employees, the third was finally able to locate the Milwaukee impact wrench I was looking for. It turned out that the tool wasnt in the location identified on the stores site, only a picture of the tool was on the shelf as a place holder. A little better product organization would make assisting customers much more efficient. Overall, a pretty decently stocked/run store.

Quite disappointed all I needed was one item was directed to 3 different aisles. The aisle it was supposed to be at aisle 19 section 15 had a employee right there stocking I had seen her just prior asked her about what I was looking for she looked at me like a deer in headlights I went to a cashier was directed to aisle 19 section 15 back to the employee I said Im looking for section 15 here in aisle 19. She says in a tone like I should know already this is section 15. My product was not there seems they dont carry it

I have been your customer for 22 years. Today an African American gentman helped me with my purchase.unfortunately I forgot his name. Honestly it was the very first time in 22 years I had such a great experience. I came back for a second time and looked for him; it was absolutely a pleasure. I am encouraged to visit this store more often because of this gentleman. Such a nice and experienced individual!

It took a while to get someone to help us . My friend went in one direction and I went the other way looking for someone to help us. We met back up and decided to leave. While exiting the store we ran into a a orange vest and she was very helpful.

Like most big DIY stores, is hard to find help. In the case of my last visit, I had 2 older employees havening a conversation and looking annoyed that I had a question. One of the guys pointed me in the right direction and I was off. Turns out he was wrong about the location of a lawn mower battery I was looking for, so I was looking for someone to point me in the direction of the lawn mowers. I came across the same 2 guys, still chatting it up but in a different location. As I approached them again, I was cut off by someone not paying attention. I had to stop and they took the opportunity to go down one of the isles and disappeared. That is extremely annoying and unprofessional. Ive worked retail and customer service always came first, your chatting should have to wait. Ill be hard pressed to go back to this Home Depot any time soon.

Had everything that hubby wanted: concrete bags, rocks, and 18 ft 2 x 8@ treated to be touching the ground /dirt. And if going early king on Sunday, fewer peeps in store!

I love all of The Home Depot stores but my local Huntington Beach store is amazing.It is always clean well organized employees are always very helpful and kind.I spend a lot of money with home depot in gardening and with my rigid tools platform.Any time that I order online all I have to do is come to the customer service desk and pick it up.This is an excellent service for people on the go , your wait time is usually always less than 5 minutes.The RDX line that they carry is great quality product at very reasonable prices.Their return no hassle policies are bar none which also keeps me coming back as it makes it very convenient.The parking lot is very well-set-up to.I Purchase a Christmas tree there every year prices are always reasonable staff is very helpful in getting it to your vehicle.I just want to thank the store manager Lynn for running a great Establishment and making it a nice customer experience.

Very Disappointing Experience! I understand that w/ Covid-19, they are short staffed, but I waited 1/2 an hour to speak to the only person in the appliance dept, only for Heather to tell me that they dont have ANY gas dryers in my price range, in stock. Evidently they wont be getting any for the foreseeable future, and wont sell the ones sitting on the sales floor. The cheapest one she offered me was almost TWICE the price of the cheapest ones advertised. If this isnt TEXTBOOK Price-Gouging, then Im not sure what is!P.S. I gave them 2⭐s, because a very nice guy named Brian (not sure what dept hes from), went out of his way to try to find someone to help me. Sadly, HELP isnt what I got, but Thanks Brian, for the effort.

We just bought our Christmas tree. It was a festive feel this year with Christmas music, a hot cocoa shack (free cocoa for customers), picture spots & picnic tables for you to enjoy your hot cocoa. There was a warm and cozy heater for you to wait by while the helpful and friendly staff cut and netted your tree. Thanks for a fun night!
