I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Paul from Moto Space Garage and it was amazing! I have a Triumph Scrambler, which was missing a horn, needed an oil change and a general check-up before state inspection.I am a TOTAL BEGINNER with bikes and barely have any experience working on them at all. Paul was super nice to explain, teach and show how things work. If you are totally new to working on bikes, this is THE SPOT to go to learn more. The shop is clean, tools are quality and Pauls knowledge is top-notch. All my questions were answered and the to-do list from the bike were all completed. Paul is not taking any shortcuts and is showing how to do things the right way with an eye for detail. You will learn a lot during your time there and have a good time.I cant wait to be back! Moto Space Garage my highest recommendations!

I took my bike in for a routine oil change, turns out I didn’t even need one and I was educated on other maintenance that would need to be performed eventually by the owner, Paul. Paul’s a easy-going guy with all the tools and knowledge you’ll need to tackle a project on your bike. There’s lift spaces for 3 bikes in the shop. Everything was organized and clean. Great spot for anyone that is willing to learn about and work on their bikes themselves.

Paul’s shop was great. The shop had all the tools and supplies I needed to work on my motorcycle. Everything was well organized. He also took the time to explain how to use tools that I hadn’t used before. It was all together a great experience.

Paul helped me with my 2005 Triumph Thruxton. It had very erratic idling and did not stay running more than a minute. When I reached him over the phone, he listened carefully to what the issue was, and gave me a very precise prognosis and explained to me how he could help. When I decided to sign up, he was very clear and transparent about how his fee structure is set up.On the day of the appointment, I was very impressed that he had researched and anticipated how the job had to be set up, including the need for parts, and prepped the session accordingly. Paul is very hands on and does get his hands dirty, but even when it is quicker and easier for him to do the work himself, he lets me do the work so I could learn, explaining why I am doing what I am doing along the way.His shop is very clean, and his tools and equipment are of very high quality and are neatly stored and set up. He is very focused on safety, and is more than happy to share best practices. The result. My bike got back to its former glory. Great to see all the work came to such a good result. The fee was very reasonable, and Paul very clearly explained what was in it.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service, and I am very happy to get to know Paul, such an unassuming nice guy. I definitely recommend Paul’s business to anybody.

I took my wheels in for a tire change and Paul did an amazing and careful job, while explaining this awesome concept of a place: You can rent a section with a lift and all the tools youd need to get the job done! And, having met Paul, Im sure if one gets stuck somewhere, Paul wouldnt mind helping out a bit or giving out some pointers. Im definitely coming back and recommending this place to other riders.

Moto Space Garage is heaven on earth for motorcyclists. If you need a place to work on your bike but don’t have the space, you need to come by here. Even if I did have a space to work, I would still come here. Paul has the place stocked to the gills with every tool you’ll need, and more. Definitely will be returning.

Ok this has been long overdue. I’ll try to keep it as straight to the point as much as I can. With that said, Ladies and Gents, MotoSpace Garage is literally THE ONLY PLACE to go too in the entirety of Houston. I’ve seen some good mechanics in Houston, I’ve seen a LOT of bad ones also. The good ones are usually full, so on top of waiting for an opening, there’s also the wait time on the bike itself. The bad ones you don’t know their bad until after dumping a s#%t load of unnecessary spending and your bike still don’t work!Quick story of how I stumbled unto Paul’s place. After having some work done on my bike (99 Kawasaki zrx1100) actually twice, first time, it went for a carb rebuild and tune, new radiator hoses, engine compression check, new cylinder head cover, clutch and brake cables check etc. picked it up was told some things to change soon but overall everything should be ok. Rode it, 10 mins in, clutch felt funny then mins later out the clutch went while on the highway. Called the guy and I had it towed back. Bout day passed was told needed new clutch and to change chain and sprocket also. Ok. Bout a week and half passed I contacted and they said would be ready soon. Come day of, went to pick it up the second time, was told your gonna love it, like a new bike. Test rode for a little, I noticed throttle was diff feel, asked how come the throttle lever doesn’t snap back but it goes back slowly, was told because it’s new so cables getting used to it. Cruiser bikes have levers like that. I don’t know any better so ok. Rode it back home, was great until I got to the traffic light and the bike was overheating. Called the guy he said bring it back we’ll sort it out. (Still hopeful) next morning the bike won’t start.....would crank but will not start. I snapped inside, that was the last straw. I just wanted to ride and it’s literally November already. So I combed the entirety of Houston looking and feeling out mechanics. Some seemed promising but when it came to actually scheduling I never got replies back. Then I found motospace here in google maps and I wasn’t entirely sure what to make off it, all I can tell was it’s a motorcycle place that offers classes to work on your own bike, and after everything that went down, my mind set was if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself, So why not give it a try. Sent a message, Paul replies and right off the bat you just have that sense that he’s a knowledgeable person and genuinely cares about helping you out. He was very straightforward, what he can do for you, how much things were, so there were no “hidden surprises”. Obvi the bike didn’t start so what did he do, he came over and towed it for me! At a price of course, but def NOT tow truck prices. When we got there, he came to the conclusion that has to be the carb. So we’ll work on that first and go from there. He literally showed me how to take the carb apart and sync it , adjust the valves and put it back together. On top of the carb rework, we also did the petcock, rework the cables, brake and throttle levers, battery charge, oil change, oh and changed the throttle cable entirely because it def was suppose to snap back. He had a spare from an older bike, took it from that.Working with Paul you get an idea of the guy, and he’s the real deal. He’s a motorcycle rider who’s very knowledgeable and passionate about riding and motorcycles. A real rider in the sense that he rides all the time, not just weekends on the tracks but really riding out there. He’s been all around the US in his Yamaha super tenere, he’s got like 10 bikes of different kinds in his garage, all of which I wanna ride! He’s been riding since he was 14 I think? And he rides constantly. I think that’s what separates a real rider to a “I ride occasionally” which for the most part are the majority of us lol. So I feel super confident as an occasional rider to bring my bike to a place where a rider like Paul can help you. This ended up not short lol I’m just that glad to find this place!!! We got the bike started same evening btw!

This is a great way to work on your motorcycle! Unlike a conventional shop (with $100/hr labor charges), youll learn how to wrench on your own motorcycle. Ive done some basic work such as oil changes and changing tires, to fork & carb rebuilds and new chain/sprocket installs, all the way up to engine swaps and (nearly) bare frame rebuilds! The owner has a standard day job, so definitely contact them to make an appointment, but their schedule is very accommodating outside of the standard business hours when wed be working on our bikes anyway.

Took my CBR500R here to replace the fork seals. Paul was very knowledgeable and helpful. The concept is you rent the space and do the work yourself but Paul is helpful and hands on when needed. I was looking for a shop to mount and balance a couple of tires for my Triumph when I found this shop. The rear wheel on my bike uses a single center nut. Most shops don’t want to deal with these wheels since they don’t have the correct setup to balance them. The owner Paul didn’t have a bushing on hand to balance my rear wheel, so he MADE ONE! I mean come on, that’s a lot of work (and time) just to balance a single wheel. But he did it and didn’t charge me a dime more to do it. For real, top notch service! This location is setup mainly as a self-service garage. My home shop is pretty well equipped to handle most repairs but, he does have a lot of specialty tools and equipment that I don’t have. I can see myself coming back to use some of these tools.

Moto Space Garage is a DIY repair station.I was quite intimidated by the DIY term as I wasnt that knowledgeable about motorcycle. My expectation is as follow: Im going to rent a workstation and fix my bike by my own and the expense is going to be reflected by the pace of my work.I was thoroughly wrong about that. What actually went: Paul, the person who runs the business, did about 60% of the work while Im also learning techniques, tips, and knowledge on how to maintain my motorcycle. So for the price of $35 an hour, it will include:- all the tools and small add-on to fix your motorcycle- Pauls assistance throughout the whole process- the repairing experience that will stay with you even after your visit- advice on how to maintain your motorcycle- cold drink and an air conditioned room to keep you goingWhat Moto Space Garage doesnt provide:- The specific parts for your motorcycle (chain, gasket, etc)Keep in mind that it doesnt even matter if you dont have any experience at all, Paul will guide you through every steps.Starting from now on, I just dont see any point to go anywhere else to fix my bike. I mightve as well do it myself at Moto Space Garage.

The owner Paul really got me out of a jam. Stranded with a flat tire, he came and picked me and my bike up for a small fee. Got there and he let me watch while explaining what he was doing. Also he heard a noise once he finished, and deemed himself not finished until the noise was gone. Cant ask for anything better than that. Will be taking a do it your self class from him soon. I reccomend Paul to anyone who doesnt already have someone. BTW, he did this on a Sunday. Everyone closed on Sunday.

This place is hidden gem for all motorcycle enthusiasts. I was trying to put the engine guard for my Triumph Bobber before a road trip to Austin. However, I could not remove the original bolts and nuts due to lack of proper tools. So I google and found this place. Paul - the owner of the workshop - contacted me after I submitted the quote. He explained to me how this work and it got my attention right away. I showed up on the time we picked. This place has every single thing you need to work on your bike. Metric unit or US unit - not a problem. I wont struggle like I always do when I work on my bike at home. With these tools, everything is done way much faster. You will be the one who work on your bike - you know just because its your bike. Paul will be there to assist you and he did a great job. He explained to me why and how we need to do this and that. What is pros and cons of doing it. He knows a lot about bike - at least comparing to me. I have recommended all my friends who are also bikers to check his shop out. And I will definitely come back to work on my bike next time.
