She was a very great sales associate and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone that is looking for a vehicle. This was an excellent car dealer experience. The salesman Melvin and all employees were courteous and knowledgeable. They worked with me to understand my needs so that I could make a successful car purchase. The quality of this dealership definitely matches the quality of Honda motorcars. Every employee I encountered, from the receptionist to the gentleman washing the car outside, met me with a hello and a smile.

Jesus helped us out getting our Honda CR-V and he was amazing. The other staff there were extremely nice and helpful. They have a new way to sign documents that is really cool and all electronic so not nearly as many hard copies on paper are needed and it is really cool (Like an Ipad the size of the whole desk lol). Also they gave us a lot more for our trade than what I thought they would. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars (I would give 4 1/2 if i could) is because we had issues with the computer sending out our credit app and it took forever but we still got done in time for my to get there and just sign (she had to work a 14hr shift and didnt want to be there long). So thanks Big Star Honda we love our CR-V!!!!

Bought a 3 year old used Certified Preowned Honda Pilot from Big Star Honda last year. Within the first month, we noticed it had some shifting issues. After taking it in to another dealership (Keating Honda), turns out it needs a new transmission. I truly cant believe they sold us this car. Thankfully, we are covered by Hondas warranty. But this confirms to me that Big Star is completely unethical. I will NEVER buy another car from them, and openly tell everyone to avoid them at all costs.

We went to Big Star Honda on 9/6 when we purchased a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee. There was a check engine light on that the dealership assured us was a minor fix (some recall just needed to be updated) and gave us a written agreement that it would be fixed. Because we needed a vehicle to get to work and they had no loaners available they told us to take the vehicle home and bring it back over the weekend so they could fix the check engine light.We took to vehicle back 9/10 and have not seen the vehicle since.We went back up to the dealership 9/13 because we had been calling and emailing for an update with no response. We were first told the vehicle had been taken to a sister dealership because their service department did not know how to fix this minor issue but in all reality it was still sitting in their service department. We were told we were not going to get a loaner because they didnt have any. It wasnt until we asked about the return policy and to speak with a manager that they magically were able to get a loaner. On the loaner vehicle they wrote an expiration on the tag of 9/18 and it is now 9/21 and we still have the loaner with again no update on the vehicle we purchased and they dont seem to care at all that the tags are expired because cops arent pulling people over right now for expired tags.This dealership KNOWINGLY sold us a vehicle with problems and convinced us it was okay to take home so that we are unable to return it because we took possession by taking it off the lot. They are making no effort to keep us informed or updated on anything. Myself and my fiance have called the manager and left voicemails, again, with NO RESPONSE. Big Star Honda has the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced and we are looking into what legal action can be taken.

I recently went car shopping here. Be careful going in with their online listings, they do not honor the prices shown on their website. I looked at several of their pre-owned vehicles and all of them were severely marked up from their original listing price. For example, the 2020 Hyundai Accent that I looked at was listed for around $16,500, with taxes and fees one would expect the out the door price to be near $18,000. However, even with the trade in and $2000 down payment, they were asking me to finance $21,000, bringing the total price to over $23,500. They had modified the vehicle and added over $3,000 of upgrades but did not disclose them anywhere in the listing. It seems incredibly shady, in all of my car buying experiences I have never come across a dealership who intentionally lists the car lower than their actual asking price. Once you do buy a car, the whole process is smooth and professional, but be warned that the prices are not what they appear to be.

Called the dealership about a vehicle and the sales lady, A****, said she will have the vehicle in the front ready for us. Got there 30 minutes after the call and waited about 20 minutes because the vehicle was not ready and they could not find it. We saw the vehicle and confirmed the online price and just like other reviews, the price online is NOT what the vehicle costs. We asked how much is it and she said I dont know. We asked if she can find out because obviously if they do not honor their online price, we would like to know its cost. She left and about 15-20 minutes later a manager(?) went right passed us and said good evening, got in the vehicle we were looking at and drove off. Maybe he went to take it to look at it and make up a price? Not sure why everything had to be so shady and secretive. Well, we secretly walked out. If he would have introduced himself and explained what the process is for his made up price and how long it would take, MAYBE we would have waited. Do not waste your time. There are a lot of dealerships in the area to go to.

The salesperson, Stephanie is great. The only thing that was not good, the 3200 dollar extra charges they want to charge you! That’s entirely too much to charge! I was able to get it taken offExcept for the 1000 they charge to get the car ready to sell.

Absolutely hate this place. Me and my wife came and did a trade in. Everyone was unorganized. After we did the contract months later they said they had issues with the deal. We had to come in and sign different papers. Everything promised was recorded in n the room with the finance chick. But they forced us to sign the new contract in order to get what was promised. After we signed the contract they gave us the run around. Mind you ofcourse all the manager says now is the sales guy dont work here anymore. The bank ended up repo the vehicle only a month out and big star took our trade in. The contract was never sent to us. So we lost everything. This place is trash. Id advise you to read all the 1 star reviews before bringing your business here. They stressed us out so much. Worst experience in our life

Big Star deserves only one star. My experience here was pretty miserable. Came here to buy a car, knew what I was looking for, and left without a vehicle. They offered me a deal with a bunch of unnecessary add ons after I got approved through their finance team. I requested that they remove the add ons, they continued to insist on the add ons, and even refused to sell me the car unless I agreed. It was a complete waste of my time (around 4 hours). I must say that I found a much better deal with “Carvana” (2016 Honda Fit with only 8,000 miles) priced lower than the Civic I was looking at here and of course, without all the add ons. “Carvana” even got me a much better interest rate through their finance team and the customer service was excellent. Completely changed my car buying experience and I didn’t have to go through the hassle of dealing with pushy salesman like the ones here.

In July 2021, with 22,533 mileages, my vehicles A/C cannot generate cold air. I took my vehicle to Big Star Honda at Gulf Freeway Houston, TX 77034 for diagnostic on 07/30/2021, and it took Big Star Honda until 08/04/21, which is 6 days later, to notify me that my vehicle have leaking A/C. It has been two months until date my car still sitting at Big Star Honda’s lot still not getting fix. If anyone know how I can have my car getting fix, please let me know.

Went online to confirm the car I wanted was available and was told by Rene that it was. Scheduled an appointment to check out the car. Drove 30+ miles to get there. When I arrived I was made to wait for Rene only to find out he had left. When another salesperson came to help me he found out the car wasn’t even there. When I messaged Rene to address the issue he stated he didn’t know the car wasn’t there and also implied that the fact there were no pictures online that I should’ve known the car wasn’t there. He didn’t even apologize. Terrible experience.

The guy that was as helping me was nice. But when it was time to make a deal he was making so many promises and when it was time to go to financing they told us it was impossible so that wasn’t good. If that wasn’t bad when he scanned my ID he forgot to give it to me and later on when I ask for it he said he didn’t have it that I had it. So we spent like 20 minutes looking for it turns out that it was in another person car that we didn’t even test drive or anything he had forgot it in there. If u have really good credit this guy could help u but if your credit is just good or normal he will make you promises that he can’t keep.

Worst dealership and would never recommend someone here. They did a simple oil change and when I got home the oil spilled all over the driveway, dealership claims it was an old filter. So if it was an old filter then you didn’t change it right? Now they had me pay to have it towed and refused to give me a refund after they ruined the car, and engine and who knows what else. Don’t buy from here, read the reviews. This place is in the ghetto for a reason.

Online price was 21,988 but on paperwork they had it at 23999 until i noticed it. Also they charge for nitrogen which is a rip off our air has 78% natural nitrogen in it already not to mention the 900.00 prep fee that the manufacturer already gives them money for gas in the tank and dealerships get a certain amount for car wash maintenance etc then lets not forget 500.00 for ceramic tint and 1500.00 for a GPS that comes standard with the package trim of the model of car which was fully loaded i guess this how they treat you when you come with your own financing and know the ins and outs of the dealership i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone

I’ve had several terrible experiences with this dealership:1. I bought a brand new car a couple years ago and they sold it to me with a nail in one of the tires so I had to take it into the service department as soon as I got it. They sold it to me while it said “Low tire pressure” but they insisted there was nothing wrong with the car, it was just the “temperature change” so it would fix itself in a couple days. Once it never fixed itself is when I took it into the service department and they found the nail.2. A couple months later I heard a chirping sound when the car would drive, so they asked me to leave it at the service department over that holiday weekend, which I did. Once I picked up my car it turned out it was a simple fix, yet they had put 165 miles on my brand new car. Which means they took it on a joyride over the whole weekend.3. Once I went in for an oil change, they stole my nut lock key from within my car. So my advice is to take it out when you’re getting it serviced and keep it on you the whole time.4. I went in for a different oil change, and they lost my key.I hope this helps someone out when considering buying from this dealership!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Every time I brought my car to them to get fixed there was magically nothing wrong with it. Ive had to have it towed and jumped several times but they still couldnt find any issues with it. I bought this car from them and only had it for a year with several issues. I finally had it towed to clear lake honda and they found the issues the same day I brought it to them. Dont depend on their customer service either. You wont ever be able to get through to someone at their service desk but if you call sales someone answers immediately because they want your money. Buy from some where you can trust.

Came to look at a car listed on their website. I had to talk to 3 different sales reps just to get an appointment. The exact car i looked at was not detailed at all, trash and Jul pod cartridges all in the car. The breaks were shot, window sealing was peeling off, missing physical buttons on the dash and the heated seats did not work. They only wanted to fix the breaks before selling. They obviously do not put their cars through any kind of inspection before showing them to customers. Salesman seemed personally offended I didnt want the car. The final cost they tried to offer was several thoysant more expensive than their website plus the additional taxes. Boss man tried to cut me a price deal due to all of the issues, but came back $10/mo higher than the original offer! Spent about 45 minutes asking to get my car keys back so I could just leave. This place was quite ridiculous, wouldnt recommend this dealership at all.

Wasted our time. We looked at a car that was listed for $20,600. Was fine to pay it but then they decided to add over 3.4k to the final check with random fees that were not even disclosed beforehand. It felt like a backstab and a waste of time. I dont understand how hard it is to be upfront with a price. Why do I have to pay for tinting, nitro tires, and a tracking system for over 3k. Not only is that not worth it, but they never wrote that there would be extra fees for these additions.

I must admit, this place was by far the best dealership I’ve ever been to. Our salesman, Micheal Nguyen took care of us the minute we stepped into the facility until we left the facility. He made sure we know what we want before purchasing the car. No wonder why he is the top salesman. I’m not surprised.Thumbs up to Mr. Danny Tran, the sales manager and his team. He personally came out of his way to come see me and my wife. He teated us as we were part of his family. I’ve never met any dealership that had ever done that to their customers. He even offered us some coffee.I’m truly amazed how these guys run this place and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Went in for a service at the service department here for a brake problem came out after spending money and now I have a whole electronic brake system failure. Someone messed up and tried to cover it up with another dealerships oil change I received in the morning. Oil changes don’t come near brakes so there’s a cover up somewhere and I want my brakes fixed. Need a better staff here.

Bryan Fuqua was very helpful during my purchase at Big Star Honda. He was never pushy and asked the right questions to make sure I understood and knew which trim level I wanted. Even offered information about how to add features to a lower trim package to save me money if I was looking to do so. STAY AWAY!! Negative 5 stars!On our way to dealership we confirmed with sales rep King Leo the cars availability, that price was as posted online, and that there would be no extra dealer fees other than regular TTL. Got there and they let us test drive car THEN told us it wasnt ready to be sold yet as they had not done the inspection. We told him when we called we were an hour away so they shouldve mentioned the car wasnt ready yet before we came. Had to come back the following day; at which point they presented us an offer with $3500 in extra dealer fees. After arguing with them for an hour the best offer they made was still $1k in extra dealer fees. Its understood that dealers will add fees; but they should dis lose those upfront - particularly when asked directly. we walked away on principle. This dealership operates dishonestly.

Recieved several calls after leaving the dealership empty handed. They finally called the third time after I told them I wasnt interested, and I asked them to stop calling. The employee hung up on me before I could finish talking. I called back to make a complaint and the employee just disguised his voice and kept me on hold.After repeatedly calling, I finally got to a supposed manager named CP? CP stated he was sorry and would find out who the employee was who called me and take care of it. CP if you are a manager and really took care of it thankyou; but if this is that same guy messing with me...I wish you the worst day.-Terrible customer service-They hide damage of thrir vehicles on the photos, then offer to fix after you buy-Stay away not an honest dealership-Prices are low because they dont tell you about the 3,500.00 mandatory fees associated with any vehicle and is not disclosed till sit down with sales personWish I could give zero stars 🌟 avoid the headaches.

If I could rate a 0 stars I would. Falsely advertising vehicle price, without their theft protection that you are required to buy. If you are going to force people into buying, do not waste peoples time by setting a price that is wrong. Financial advisory and sales person told me I need to look into a different price range that is 17,500 when the vehicle I was looking at was 17,715. Such a waste of time... I would save your time and go else where.

I would love to say that I was able to purchase a car from this dealership but it would appear that all they felt like doing was lying about the cost of the car and adding additional usurious fees.They charge $500 for a window tint that was already on the car and had a lifetime warranty since the car originated at this dealership. They refused to remove this fee acknowledging that they did nothing to add the tint but just wanted the extra profit. They then had $800 in Dealer prep which they said was to cover the detailing and new tires and whatever else they had to do in getting the car frontline ready. These fees were not included in the price of the car but in what they labeled Aftermarket equipment expenses. As we did not agree to these terms they refused to remove them from the cost, even though they made the $500 initially when they sold the car in 2017.Lets also throw out there that they proceeded to insult educators saying that even though they are underpaid and have to provide utensils for students an extra 12 months and an extra $50 a month is perfectly fine because they get raises each year and possible bonuses. It worked out to be an extra $5200 that was advertised.Martin, the general manager, proceeded to curse out and insult my underwriter and make snide remarks about her to me during the discussion of why charging for a service someone else already paid for is double dipping an wrong. If you are in the market for a car I recommend you find someplace who isnt completely lying to you about the cost of the car.

I have tried to purchase a vehicle from this dealership for over a week and have had talked to 3 different salesmen at this point. As none of them have gotten back with me. When speaking to the sales supervisor he laughed at me when I told him about the other 3 salesmen have been giving us the run around. This is a sellers market and this dealership has exhibited nothing but unprofessionalism and disregard for a customer trying to buy a vehicle from them. I am blown away at how little they care for a customer trying to buy from them. I realize they are trying to make the most money on a vehicle but this is sad. No one will move forward in business with this kind of behavior. I RECOMMEND YOU TAKING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. You will likely be treated with more respect.

It was my first time buying a car after having and healing from really horrendous PTSD. Thank you Lord Jesus! I found one online believing I could go test drive that car. Melvin Paz was the one who I had originally spoke to and he made an appointment for me to come in at 7 to test drive it. I don’t live close to the area so it took 4 hours for me to get there. I got there and Leo Kanu welcomed me first, and I sat at his desk while Melvin who was with a customer at the moment was going to find the key to the car, which started getting suspicious, why wouldn’t he want to help me when he was the one who made the appointment ? he then came over to me and said he can’t get it because the manager in charge is not there. Leo “couldn’t find the car on the computer” until I pointed it out. And Melvin couldn’t find the key so he was walking around like a chicken with its head cut off looking at us and going room to room “trying to find the key “ at the end they said the car was on the lift it could not be seen because it had not been serviced nor certified and the mechanics all went home that was also very suspicious but me hoping waited longer for that person to assist me. At the end these guys are dirt to be stomped on. Melvin was selling the car to another customer while I was there. I saw the customer who was laughing at my face while Melvin sent him to drive behind the dealer ship and Leo was covering for him too. Don’t even bother coming to this place it felt so humiliating and disgusting. Keep your cash don’t settle for less by working with these idiots. They think your dumb these people don’t respect customers. They couldn’t just say upfront we already sold the car. I had to go look like an idiot so they can play an ugly game with me. Those people deserve to be fired.

We purchased a vehicle from them in 2019. The experience was everything you wish it wasnt. We mentioned upon getting there that we would just like to get a specific car they had in stock. A Grand Jeep Cherokee; And after getting the car we would have to head to a family gathering that only happens 1 time per year. We gave ourselves 8 hours to deal with what we imagined would be plenty of time.After viewing the car, our sales rep Lee started negotiating the price with me and we got it to an amount that was what we saw they had been advertising online and then took little off that as well. So we were getting it right at our ideal number. After that we went into the warranty service department to start going over options of warranties. No big issue there, just your standard upsells on why this policy is better. Upon getting into signing docs, we noticed not only had the number we agreed upon not only changed, it was even higher than the initial number we started with.So now we went back and forth for 2 hours about the numbers and why they are the way they are. After all that time the manager came in and explained that the only thing we were negotiating on was the interest rate. If thats the case we were getting an outrageously high rate and only after countless negotiations, we got to a somewhat reasonable amount. Nonetheless, it didnt make even one bit of sense as to why the numbers are what they are.The car was good and thats the only reason why we moved on with the purchase. My wife needed a car soon so this was our best option. We tend to make our decisions based on reviews but this place does a good job of putting makeup on their unsatisfactory deliveries.We were promised so many things upon purchase many of which we didnt feel like we needed but we figured if its at no cost then why not?One of those items was a simple spare key that comes standard with every reputable car dealership that Ive worked with in the past. I feel like its common sense to give one to anyone that buys a car a backup, especially if youre spending THOUSANDS of dollars into something, it seems fair that they would be able to provide your expected services.Soon after we got the car and drove away we had surpassed 9 hours at this place.Lee got fired about a month or so after we worked with him for reasons unknown so every issue we mentioned either about the car or items undelivered they blamed it on him and dont take responsibility for their mess ups.We have been reaching out to over 7 different employees about various concerns and it seems like we just go in endless circles. They handed me a contact of the person who can help us better, Mike Who hasnt done anything to help us in any shape or form. Like something as simple as a spare key and they either defer us to someone else or tell us some lie that doesnt relate to what another employee is saying. This process has been going on for over a year now and we were as patient as can be with everything but they have continued to let us down.I would highly advise AGAINST shopping for a car here and take your business elsewhere. Just go straight to the dealership that has those cars instead of a 3rd party if youre buying a jeep or any car that isnt a Honda.

LOOK AT HOW MY TRUCK WAS RETURNED. I just picked up my truck from the honda service, where the oil change is suppose to cover a car wash.Honda splashed dirt all over my truck and gave it back to me. This is crazy. I didn’t say because the rep was nice but look at how my truck was returned after a oil change and car wash. I would not recommend this place

Pretty sure they filled my washer fluid reservoir with septic water. Now my car smells like Pasa-stinka-dena every time I have to use my washer fluid. Or at least until all the nasty they put in comes out. Make sure you tell them not to touch that fluid when you get your oil done. 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮

I think this place is a huge rip off. avoid the service agent Paul Pham. Went here last year for oil change and had to change the whole oil pan $1000. I ended up trading my Honda for a Toyota. There are more honest car brand and dealership in Houston. Please avoid this place if you can.

I found a deal from the website that Honda Pilots were off $6,000 but expired 3/31/2021. Called and spoke to Gerardo and he confirmed that the deal will be honored and expire at the end of May 2021. I planned all day around this long trip to go buy the car, even brought a car to trade in. After arriving I was turned to another sales person who was very nice and showed me all the models.After selecting the model/ color, we sat down and Gerardo came to give me the run around and some shady answer that the manager earlier said the deal for 6k off would be honored but calling Honda corporate now has turned it down. Now this is obviously some shady tactics to get people down to the dealership with false hopes. This needs to stop and I will be contacting the BBB and Honda corporate to report for these tactics. And to top it off, the manager came in just before we left to further insult me and my wife that he could sell the Honda Pilot for 43k all day everyday in this environment. We can easily buy this for that price, hell we could buy the top of the line model if we wanted. Also they dont add a 4k options package to the msrp but mysteriously adds it in the negotiated final price deal, another shady tactic.I thought it was unnecessary especially after him and his team lied to me about the 6k discount to bait me in there. It is a shame as Ive purchased an Accord from here in 2015 and my experience was good back then. I guess since then theyve hired some shady people who uses terrible tactics to get people in the door. They also offered me $5,500 for a 2013 Corolla with 56k miles in excellent condition. I can easily get $9,000 to $10,000 in this environment. What a rip off and they had the nerve to tell me that used cars are selling like hot cakes? I will never buy a Honda from this location again. In fact were going to buy a Tesla Model Y like we had originally planned. I support getting rid of dealerships and shady businesses.

Before going to this dealership, I contacted one of the sales rep Mr. Daniel Okwuokenye. We agreed to a deal over the phone, I doubled checked with him made sure that whatever I am asking for he would be able to do it, which he agreed upon. Once I got there, he completely disagreed to that deal and told me it made no sense. If it didn’t made sense in first place then he should have told me so I wouldn’t have wasted my time and fuel to get there. I know dealerships play like that but if you are agreeing to something then atleast stick to your words!

I currently purchased another vehicle from Big Star Honda. I knew that I was in good hands as this was my second time purchasing from Big Star. The first time I purchased my car, the sales team as well as the finance team made sure I knew all about my vehicle as well as what I was purchasing. MJ, the sales guy, walked me through all the steps and made sure I knew about all the functions of the vehicle as well as incentives that Honda had to offer me. Finance team also made sure that they covered every warranty they had to offer, whether I decided to purchase or not, and did not force me to buy anything and did not make me feel obligated of purchasing any warranty. Big Star Honda was great with my first purchase that I decided to come back and purchase another vehicle from them. AGAIN, I am extremely pleased with their services. Second time around, I called in and gave the sales guy my information, had them process and approved my deal within 2 hours and was able to pick up my car in no time, without any hassles and without wasting any time. When I arrived at the dealership, the sales team was extremely polite and helpful and made sure my car was clean and ready to go. After signing all necessary documents from finance, I was in and out within no time. If you are in the need of purchasing a new vehicle, I highly recommend BIG STAR HONDA! if I could, I would rate them a 10 as 5 is not high enough. Thank you Big Star Honda for your wonderful service! Beware of this dealer. They are scammers. They ran a false ad and added a bunch of add ons on the car like tint, and other stuff. Didn’t tell me and they wanted to charge me $4000+ for it. And when I told them I didn’t ask for that and why would you add that last minute. They canceled my sale and sold the car to someone else. They were very rude and the salesmen would call me all day even at night trying to get a sale.

Be ready to pay for things you did not authorized or wanted, they charged 499.00 for window tinted i did not order, requested or wanted, i asked them to remove the charge and they said they could not, they charged me 1299.00 for aftermarket products that i did not requested or wanted, they charged me 800.00 for theft protection i did not wanted, I asked them to remove it and would not remove. The worst part is that they dont tell you about those charges untill after you apply for credit, and after they tell you about the charges and you ask to remove them they just told me that those charges come with the car. Its so sad that for a couple thousand dollars they loose a customer and some more that you could have recommended.
