Brought my shotgun in for failure to cycle. They took my money and told me it just needed a thorough cleaning. Just had a chance to try it out again and the gun instantly discharged as soon as I cycled the bolt. Safety on, no pull of the trigger. Gunsmith appears to have left the firing pin sticking out so far that it just fires as soon as its loaded. Thank goodness I was pointing in a safe direction, but these guys directly put my and my families life in danger with poor workmanship. After all that they went for the full customer service gold medal by refusing to refund my money and hanging up on me.

Great experience here. Dropped my rifle off for service and they couldnt immediately fix the issue due to part availability. We came up with a creative solution for my rifle to be safe and ready for opening day and they made suggestions on the best way to proceed once parts are available. Great staff. Good prices. A lot of expertise on the gunsmith service side. You dont have to be a ln expert in firearms to feel comfortable here. Highly recommend and will be doing all of my shopping and gun maintenance here in the future.

They hold classes for LTC andFirearms training. Jim and Joe very knowledgeable on the laws around the classes.I took the LTC class from Jim. The price was great! Most reasonably priced around.

I did a firearm transfer with these guys. There was a little miscommunication but it turns out it was the company who was selling the gun who was at fault. I came in to pick up my weapon, and the gentleman behind the counter was in the process of doing another transfer. He got me taken care of quickly and professionally and I enjoyed the conversation. I’m going back this weekend to do my license to carry class with them cause it was an affordable 1 day option and I like what I’ve experienced so far. I would definitely recommend these guys!!

Small place but great if you like 1911s. They have several but not much else. Small inventory but a good gun smith inside.

Spoke with someone on the phone about ammo. Confirmed that they had what I wanted/needed and confirmed the store hours. Then, proceeded to drive nearly 20 miles to the store. Arrived 21 minutes BEFORE closing. (Store hours were also posted by the door). Store is closed and no one is answering the phone. Not cool.

These guys have always been professional and informative to my family. Transfer went well and was very easy, repairs and services were always easy and timely. If you like the firearm minutiae, these guys can talk about and do it. If youre more of a firearm=tool kind of person like me, they dont look down on you like some other stores. Only had positive experiences here and have recommended them to several people in person.

Called this place to ensure they stand for personal liberty and freedom. Unfortunately they require masks in their store, citing Governor orders. The man said “I don’t want to make a political statement.” This has nothing to do with politics whatsoever. This is about being supportive of personal freedom, plain and simple.If a governor mandates firearms are banned, will they tuck their tail between their legs and comply?I’ll spend my money somewhere where they support freedom and liberty.

I had an issue with my pistol and their gunsmith figured it out quite quickly and since it was such a minor issue to fix once he determined what it was he didnt even charge.The concealed carry class is cheaper than competitors and includes range qualification and help with the subsequent steps to obtain a license to carry.

Bad customer service. Over priced ar 15s that I can build for half the price. Bought a glock from them that would keep firing low and they did nothing to help me about it but offer me to pay over 100 for adjustable sights. Couldnt even bore sight my rifle. Just bad service and over priced products.

Bought a Bushmasters AR-15 a few years back from Academy Sports & Outdoors. 1st mistake was not immediately taking it to the gun range. Finally got around to it last month to line up my newly acquired front & rear sights. Fired first shot and spent casing didn’t eject. 2nd round jammed into the first. Went to several gunsmiths and they both agreed I needed a new barrel. LE friend told me to get it changed at BRC. To my surprise the attendant said they could fix it without changing the barrel. Took it to the back and what ever they did... 5 minutes later they fired several rounds and it was fixed. Been to the range several times without any problems. Also bought extra 9mm clip and AR magazines. They get all my business from this day forward.

I have been to this rifle shop over 20 times and never had a bad experience. They are very knowledgeable and build one hell of a rifle.They can do art work on painting your guns also.

I went to battle rifle company looking for information about a rifle. They told they did custom rifte that got me thinking. I ask how much and it was in my price range. I ask them a lot of questions and they where kind to answer them even meet the owner he was nice and answer my questions to. I will be ordering a rifle from this company really soon hopefully in 308

I stopped by on a recommendation from another group of guys. I just wanted to see what they had. Looked at a few of the rifles and discussed some work I wanted done on my 1911. I ended up buying 2 rifles, a shotgun, and having my 1911 worked on. These guys were absolutely awesome to deal with. Both rifles and the shotgun are being modified to what I want. They worked on the 1911 until we were all happy with it. I will continue to buy from these guys in the future without question. They go above and beyond.

These guys are awesome! Karl has vast knowledge that puts him way ahead of his competition. Most rifles are made to order so when you go to order a weapon be prepared to wait for greatness you wont wait long for sure. All the guys here are more than willing to help and get you armed for whatever your hunting or personal protection needs are.

I would never recommend this shop to anyone. If your in the market for anything gun related especially gun smithing services take your business elsewhere. Quality control is non existent and the staff is confrontational and unknowledgeable. The level of disrespect and lack of attention to detail displayed from the owner and employees was astonishing. I truly have no idea how this shop is still in business.

I shoot left-handed and had them modify my AR-15 with a left- handed upper. The job was done right and in a timely manner. Cost was reasonable and the staff I interacted with seemed very knowledgeable. Will use their services in the future.

Brought in my Winchester 97 for minor repair and got it back in worse shape 3 months later. Never got a phone call but had to go look for it.Left extractor - broken; Barrel chamber ring - installed crooked; Barrel chamber ring retaining screws - missing; Firing pin lock spring - missing; Magazine plug stop - missing. This is NOT how I brought it in.They told me that there is no spring on the firing pin and the rattle is normal for a gun that old. (Are you kidding me?) There was a good 1/16th gap between the front and back of gun where it breaks apart. I told them my gun was not like that before. He said there was nothing he could do about it. I discovered the barrel chamber ring installed crooked and the screws missing.I regret having it painted because its not a good look for a classic shotgun, a professional would have advised against it.

I had given them my past down Remington 1100 from my Grandfather to get ready for Quail Hunt. The gunsmith, Carter did a fantastic job in cleaning and correcting the ejectors for a successful hunt.

Great people working there and the products are solid, despite some reviews Ive read. Good guns are now being built out of Battle Rifle Companys shop with new management and personel. Very professional people working there along with Chris the owner, a very great guy to talk to and very emotional about the guns that they build. Overall a great experience with them and there product.

Awful experience. Went for a simple trigger swap. They stated it would be done by end of business day of. On top of charging a full hour worth of labor ($65!) They were unable to complete it within the day which completely defeated the purpose. Staff was rude as could be too. Good luck to anyone using this place.

First time stopping by, the gentleman behind the counter said they didn’t have any takedown pin sets at the moment. After further browsing, I found red sets of takedown pins and asked him about it and once again asked if they had any other ones which he replied no, further into my browsing I found the black take down pins I was needing. Finally he agreed to sell them but by then I had made up my mind to leave and try somewhere else. Will not be returning.

Very pricey.I heard an ad on the radio and was in the area so I swung by. I was pretty shocked by their pricing. They are charging 2012 Obama era prices for what seem to be bog standard AR15s.To top it off I overheard two workers (one guy with a long beard, the other with long thin hair) talking loudly about how you cant find 6.5 Jap anymore because libtards were offended by the name and bought all of it up, and how hard it is to be a white male and that he should identify as a black woman instead. Pretty weird...At least the owner was a nice guy. Surprised he lets his workers talk that way.
