Excellent price for halal and Desi foods. You can almost find everything with reasonable price. The people here are very nice too. Overall a great place to shop Desi groceries.

Excellent desi items, both Indian and Pakistani.They have lots of National spices compared to other desi stores. The huge collection of tea/coffee varies from Tapal to Tata and Chuku Kappi.They cut goat meat according to your specification in about 20 mins or so.The sugar cane juice is worth the try!

It’s very well organized and clean. You can get a good variety of items and the prices are reasonable.

I needed a large pot to cook for an outdoor event this Saturday and someone told me they carry large cooking utensils. I got what I needed and as I was checking out , I saw they sell fresh made biryanis .. I got excited picked up a couple of boxes. I asked the cashier if they were made fresh, also the guy was wearing a cap similar to the Pakistan’s cricket team’s one, probably the store manager he walked past me as I was picking up the boxes, he didn’t say a thing. I just got back home opened the carry out boxes and i almost threw up. They are so stale that I had to take out the trash or my house will start smelling. I can say for a fact that the food was sitting out for at least 3-4 days and definitely not in a refrigerator. I just feel like I should file a complaint with Osha…because that biryani can really make someone sick. I live like 20 miles from world food and I will not go back to get my money back.. I’m not sure if anyone will read this but I recommend you stay away from their takeouts.

Bad… it smells bad and floors are dirty .. there is this new section they have built, which seems like nobody ever goes there. Vegetables seemed so dirty and there were flies all over the “fresh” food.They do have more variety and comparable prices to other South Asian grocery stores.I won’t buy anything not packaged from this store, and would always carefully check the expiry date.

Always the best place to come for wide selection of Halal/Desi products. I just wish their organization of products was as spectacular as Phoenicia, but props to World Food for improving every year. Self-checkout counters would make it 5 stars.

Store appearance look better and cleaner than before. Aisles are well organized. But prices are getting higher.There are lots of problem in parking lot. No one leave cart inside the cage and obviously there are not enough stations for carts in parking lot. Most of the parkings are blocked by the carts. Most of the carts are dirty and there is no sanitizer or wipes outside the store to clean the cart.Meat section is always clutter with stuff on the floor. But other aisles are clean.

Its a good store with alot of varieties from the subcontinent. But, prices are increasing exponentially lately for some unknown reason more than the inflation itself. They are just taking advantage of being the largest provider in Desi groceries.

Went today for shopping. They have variety of products. Being an African American, I was welcomed very well by the staff. Arsalan and Fahad been really helpful. Prices are good produce are fresh.

Authentic indo/pak asian items, store itself is run down and under repair but overall I found what I was looking for all in one place.

I only stop here to get stuff they I cant find anywhere else, such as European/Middle Eastern products. But the place is complete mess. I use to come here back in 2003 and it hasnt changed. The floors are broken and in general just looks dirty, dont get me started on the vegetable section. I am certain this place is making enough money to afford repairs, please fix it.

From The World Food Mart I bought groceries, vegetables and meat. I am happy to shop from here because in one visit I bought everything I needed.

Very clean and friendly. They carry very large inventory. Almost everything you may need in an indian kitchen or even more.

Recently, I went on their website, prepared and place an order for delivery, but unfortunately there delivery service was not available in my neighborhood. So, I had to choose pick up option. I am very impressed with the way they took care of my order. They called me and informed me about the unavailable items in my order and asked me about my preference for the substitution items, which most of the stores dont do normally. The other stores in general, dont care much about the availability and substitutions for your items in the order. But I really appreciate World Food Warehouse employees effort to provide me with the best possible substitutions for my items and the way they called me two three times to confirm if I was okay with the substituted items. Curbside pick up was also very smooth and efficient. I always have a great shopping experience at this store.

Place is great for grocery shopping. But counter employie not paying attention when they scanning items and charge twice. Its not happening once its happen twice.

My Mom is elderly & we drove from Galveston county to get goat..we specifically asked for whole leg quaters & got a sack of shoulder neck bones..they are rude & the old toothless man kept telling me he put leg quater on order...but what whole leg got little neck bones in it?..pathetic & a waste of time & they will cheat you out of your money..leg has one bone in it the rest is meat...we got bones but paid whole goat leg price 🙈

What they do in Ramadan is amazing. I wish other diverse community restaurants will take a leaf out of their book and lower their prices all year round as well.

AlhamduAllah always so clean and fresh. Never had a bad experience their in my purchases. Love the place..

Food selection and variety is great and the store is clean. However, customer service is not good at all. They have hired a lot young high school kids and foreigners who dont know English or are inexperienced in helping people find stuff around the store. Customer service definitely needs to be addressed and worked on. Freshness and store organization of merchandise should also be priority just so the customers can have a safe and happy shopping experience.

Clean sterile, fresh produce and mostly (zabiha) halal meat, helpful staff, good rewards program, usually a bit of a queue at checkout.

Such a great shop! Very good collection of south Asian grocery (Indian, Pakistani, Bangla, Srilanka) and fresh vegetables. I will strongly recommend all of you to visit this store. Remember to visit their Café and my favorite is chicken puff, cappuccino, and kashmiri tea.. very very delicious and new leg level. Also they sell grilled chicken that is super delicious.

They have more variety and space than regular Desi stores, but cleanliness should be well maintained, poultry and meat section stinks bad.

I bought ground beef. The day was marked March 1. 2021 . Out side of the box looks fresh, when I opened the box the meet was brown and smelled bad. I took a picture of it just in case if I need it to o proof it to someone. Really bad

Wont recommend it at all. Recently visited these guys, prices are doubled, as a matter of fact they treat people like they just care about business not bout their staffs. There is alot of space for correction, old management used to be much better. Try to adjust your prices first, and care more about your staff then the business as many people dont leave your mart satisfied 😒

I been placing curbside orders through their online portal during the covid times and they were always very fast and prompt on processing orders with out much hassle. They were always flexible and would recommend to any one who is looking for shopping Asian groceries and meat products.

Best place to go grocery shopping if you are from Indian subcontinent. I have found many authentic Bangladeshi vegetables and fruits there. items are cheap and the store is decently large enough with various items.

They have a large fresh vegetable section.They have been remodelling and cleaning up their layout. The freezer section is well stocked with Indo-Pak dishes and desserts. They have large selection of Rice varieties. The customer service is good for this sector. Parking is easyThey need to clean up some of the people outside begging for money. Sorry but scammers abound.

If youre desi and live in the area, youre probably going to end up here. The variety is awesome. Prices arent bad either. But the quality of the place is awful. Meat quality especially is bad. The beef we get always has a weird smell to it. Went to phoencia recently for halal beef and it was amazing! Clean trays, clean setting, and no weird smell.The location itself is in a pretty messy area. Parking lot has a bad design, and always trashed. Inside is very messy as well.They do have a guy up front checking temps so i bumped it up to a 3/5

The store was awesome & the prices very competitive. It had everything I grew up eating and then some. The goat chunks from the butchery were fresh & to die for when I finally bbqd them. The only thing I noticed is their customers werent very friendly but thats more of a cultural thing & not the stores fault. Variety of grocery foods. Many vegetables available. Halal meats and halal frozen snacks also available. Its more of “Asian” food than “world” food! Mango is very good, didn’t like the Milk at all. Duck is available but you have to process it at home. Of course free parking and enough parking space available.
