0 starsI came here for my Covid vaccine and no body has any clue about it . I made the appointment online and they still acted like they have lost their memory .Finally , the lady who gave me the shot did not wear gloves . She just jammed the needle in my arm and it hurt me like a B. She was very rough and did not apologize . You are suppose to hold the skin taught and gently insert the needle . I hope I have the correct vaccine .How are they running a freaking pharmacy ? I thought river oaks would have some reputation . Eff this place .

They have the worst customer service, we went there for a covid test and Christina provided careless attention. Their staff “forgot” to process our tests(my husband and mine) regardless of our upcoming trip.She was the one responsible for it and she never spoke to us!! We saw how they mistreated other patients too.I thought that these people should care more about patients but I was wrong!! Definitely some people in that pharmacy doesn’t qualify for the job description. Beware!

Leonardo is a gem! Enthusiastic, helpful: I wasn’t sure about signing up for the rewards program, but I am thankful I did! CVS is better than Walgreens, and he helps prove that! Good people make a business run well.

The store is open 24 hours but the, Open 24 hours sign is always off. Also, while Im writing this review, I have been on the phone calling the store. It has been ringing for a total of 6 minutes and 23 seconds. By the time I am done writing this review of the horrible customer service, over 7 minutes have gone by with the phone just ringing. I will let it ring until someone answers. Terrible

Worst Pharmacy EVER !!!! Scheduled a Covid test, received a confirming email and 3 texts. Arrived 5 minutes early and waited FIFTY MINUTES to get to the window. I told the pharmacist why I was there and after another 20 minutes of silence was told they were getting the paperwork in order.: Odd because I entered all my information on line. At the hour and 30 minutes mark someone finally returned and announced they could not find my appointment and I could not get tested today. Even after showing her the confirmation number a fifth time she insisted I did not have an appointment. I refused to leave the drive thru without a test and miraculously, 10 minutes later, my appointment was found. An hour and fifty minutes total time wasted.If they are this inept to honor an appointment and perform a simple test how could you possible trust them with your medications?

I was there to take pictures of my baby girl for her passport, April 7, 2021, around 12 noon, and only the manager was on site.I asked if he was working alone, and he confirmed, adding that everybody went on a break.The manager (sorry I didnt see his name) was so patient with my girl, that was behaving really bad (hungry and tired). Not only he was helping us, he also somehow managed to help other customers check out with self-checkout area.He was really juggling it. Very courtious, professional, knowledgeable, such a great experience. He is definitely a great asset to the company CVS and should be promoted with raise, cause this guy has got it. Crisis or not, he was pressing on to have it all done.On the contrast, an African American cashier that came back from break and checked me out with my purchases, was not very helpful.He somehow failed to put my number into the system to get me my coupons, was taking too much time joking around with my baby (I was almost fainting from all the struggle earlier) and didnt offer to put my purchases in a bag, only after I asked. Cashier was friendly, pleasant, but I wish he was paying more attention to his actual duties. In general, thanks to the store manager, it was a great experience. Thank you for reading.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I’ve been sitting here in my car waiting in line at this pharmacy for 30 minutes now. This isn’t the first time I had to wait long at this pharmacy. This pharmacy is just sloppy. There’s usually a confusion or a delay in getting the prescriptions that ends up to be a total hassle. I only go here because this is the closest CVS to where I live. But this right here is the last time I’m going here. I’d save time driving farther somewhere else than going here every time and dealing with all this sloppiness.

Every time i go there there is no one in front to help.Why when i am returning items and i lost the recipe they give me less than that I paid for it.I bought something for 5.99 and they gave credit of 4.19 .It is a bad business!!!!They want to punish customers for loosing the recipe.I told so many of my friends not to shop there.Very very very disappointed ☹️ I

Horrible experience. I was scheduled for a Covid test and I was about 20 minutes early. There were no cars in the line for a good 10 minutes. The lady, without letting me talk, asked for my name and said I can’t do the test you need to come back in 20 minutes. I understand that but I asked her it wasn’t busy now can we just do it. She said I don’t wanna do it. Turned off her microphone and came back inside to use her phone. She was on her phone the whole 10 mins that I was waiting in there. I asked for the manager and explained I’m a front line worker and that last time I was here it took 2 hrs on the line. I said I couldn’t wait that long coz I need to go to work that’s why I came early. He said move out of the line we’re not doing it. He said his name is Sheldon and he won’t give his staff’s name.

The pharmacy here is simply terrible. I had never encountered such issues with filling a simple generic prescription (that I have used for several years now) as what I did here. I was using them for a couple of months as my primary pharmacy and switched at my doctors’ suggestion after so many inexplicable issues arose.They first claimed the issue was my insurance with one medicine, which made no sense as I’ve had this same insurer for multiple prescriptions of this medicine over the years and without any trouble.They then claimed the doctor had sent the wrong number of pills in the prescription and so my insurance was refusing to cover it. My doctor, however, confirmed that they’d twice sent them this prescription and clearly/correctly marked for 90 days.Next, they claimed I had already picked up another medication from them, which I simply had not done. I did not have the medication, and I have no record of any such transaction on any of my accounts. (I do not use cash at all.)I was also out of state on the date they claimed I had collected the medicine, and when I told them this, they changed the date they were saying I had collected the medicine. When I reiterated that regardless of their claims I did not have my medication, hoping they would try to assist me instead of behaving as they were, they dug in their heels.Instead of working with me to resolve the issue, they stated they’d have to review security footage to verify what had happened. Frankly, they were treating me like a criminal over an asthma-control medication that isn’t even subject to abuse (not a controlled substance, narcotic, or anything capable of producing a “high”) *and* risking my health and well being in the process.This was just the icing on the cake, as I’ve always found their pharmacy staff to be brusque and unpleasant, always acting hurried but yet somehow always the slowest pharmacy I’ve encountered. It seems they’re under staffed and not only to the extent of being unable to keep up with their prescription inflow but also to the point of making such massive errors as they did with my asthma-control medication.

This is the best CVS location I have ever been to. Im a frequent customer and will always choose this CVS over other similar stores. The pharmacy team is excellent! Hera and Victoria are the best pharmacists and I dont know what I would do without them! They have made the effort to get to know me and make me feel that they genuinely care about my well-being. Marie and the other employees are wonderful!

Service has gotten terrible over the past few months. They do not employ enough staff in the pharmacy to handle the business they crave. The waits in drive through or by phone for the pharmacy are too long and when you finally are reached, the service is hurried, abrupt and often rude. Amazing they don’t get it. There are too many options to go to Walgreens.

This pharmacy has the most horrible service. They don’t check to see if anything has been sent electronically so when you arrive they scramble around trying to find your prescription and tell you it will be 30 minutes or longer to fill it. They are also incredibly rude. When you walk up to the counter they will completely ignore you and continue their conversations while you stand there. They don’t even look up to greet you or acknowledge that you are there.

Initially promised 2-5 days for Covid results. Today is day 8. Tried calling and it’s a constant automated message. By the time I get results, it won’t even matter what that result is anymore and I’ll probably have to get tested again. If you’re looking for somewhere to get tested, go somewhere else with a faster turn around time.

The night manager Sheldon is very rude. I have had good experiences with the pharmacy staff and the cashiers, but he has caused me to not turn to this location. There is a CVS pharmacy in the Target on San Felipe and another CVS just down the way on Westheimer. Being short and abrupt to customers is not how a manager should act.

Be careful using this pharmacy...The pharmacists will try to have a tech check out a script without answering any questions regarding your medications.The techs wont know to make sure your script has been processed through your insurance.All and all - only come here if you want to pay too much for your script and get no information.

I’m in Houston from the UK and not been very well, went into pharmacy today for some electrolytes and lady on counter was not helpful at all. Pointed me in a general direction with her hand as what she was doing seemed more important. A little further but Walgreens it is. Very disappointed.

I thought the whole concept of the drive thru was for convenience of some sort. Everytime I have to pick up my medicene its such a hassle. I even called my medicene ahead of time so that maybe I could prepare them and not wait as long. They still have me waiting more than 30 minutes for medicene... every freaking time. I rarely give low reviews but I always feel tossed aside here and they constantly make me drive to the back to assist other people but they still will make me sit and wait when I get back to the front. Go to another cvs pharmacy is my best advice.

The one pharmacist with the long hair is as rude as can be, not just on an occasion here and there- every time, every interaction. Also, the tech that works the majority of the time- has black hair up in a bun or sometimes wears a pink wig is just downright miserable. She acts like the last thing she wants to be doing is working there. Ive never seen here smile, never heard her say thank you or ask how are you. These two are both rude every single time acting like each customer is a huge burden. This pharmacy is incredibly slow and even if they have made a mistake they act like there is no way possible to expedite anything- or apologize, smile, give any condolence. The other pharmacist, who doesnt work very often, she looks to be of Asian decent- she is the exact opposite (I wish she worked more of the time).... she is sweet, helpful and interested in a high service standard.Every other CVS I have ever been to (and Ive been to many due to moving) has been incredibly helpful, prompt- if there is any amount of wait they are always apologetic.

Feels just like Hollywood California! If you go in the morning this CVS store is fine, after 6:00PM on any night you will find very nasty people buying booze, cigarettes and last time I just saw some prostitutes buying makeup! I wouldnt dream of going to this store without a knife or gun in my pocket.When I lived in California I would go to Rite-Aid Drugs on Sunset and Fairfax and this CVS has the same look and vibe and scary people as Hollywood California did.
